Tarlow lectures and trains tourism professionals and security personnel in multiple languages on a wide range of current and future trends in the tourism industry, rural tourism economic development, the gaming industry, issues of crime and terrorism, the role of police departments in urban economic development, and international trade. Some of the other topics about which he speaks are: the sociology of terrorism, its impact on tourism security and risk management, the US government’s role in post terrorism recovery, and how communities and businesses must face a major paradigm shift in the way they do business.

Tarlow publishes extensively in these areas and writes numerous professional reports for US government agencies and for businesses throughout the world. He has been asked to be an expert witness in courts throughout the United States on matters concerning tourism security and safety, and issues of risk management.

As a well-known author in the field of tourism security, Tarlow is a contributing author to multiple books on tourism security and publishes numerous academic and applied research articles regarding issues of security including articles published in The Futurist, the Journal of Travel Research and Security Management. Tarlow’s wide range of professional and scholarly articles includes articles on subjects such as: “dark tourism”, theories of terrorism, and economic development through tourism, religion and terrorism and cruise tourism. Tarlow also writes and publishes the popular online tourism newsletter Tourism Tidbits read by thousands of tourism and travel professionals around the world in its English, Spanish, and Portuguese language editions.

De no salir ningún juego de Touhou Project en una plataforma de Nintendo a llegar uno tras otro en un goteo constante. Desde que salió el primer juego hecho por fans de esta franquicia en Nintendo Switch han ido llegando uno tras otro gracias al Project Play, Doujin! que se encarga de portearlos a consola. Y a pesar de que hoy os venimos a hablar de otros dos proyectos de fans que llegan a la híbrida de Nintendo, merece la pena recordar que Touhou Hyoibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers tiene que llegar en algún momento, siendo uno de los juegos principales de la franquicia. Pero hoy no toca hablar de peleas en dos dimensiones, hoy toca hablar de Touhou Genso Mahjong y Touhou Spell Bubble.

Como siempre las chicas del Gensokyo se prestan a todo tipo de juegos más allá de los danmakus que les hicieron famosas. Dungeon crawlers, juegos de lucha o su propia y particular versión de Mario Kart Double Dash son alguno de los ejemplos que hacen posible esa afirmación, pero hoy añadiremos dos más a su currículum: un juego de Mahjong y dejar en paro a los dragoncitos de Puzzle Bobble.

  Empecemos por Touhou Spell Bubble, un juego que Taito ha anunciado que llegará a la eShop japonesa de Nintendo Switch el mes que viene. Se trata de un juego inspirado en Puzzle Bobble, que junta la mecánica del juego de puzzles de bolitas con uno de los elementos más importante de la franquicia Touhou: la música. De esta forma tocará limpiar bolitas pero al ritmo de canciones clásicas y remixes de la saga de la mano de artistas famosos entre los fans como IOSYS y Yuuhei Satellite. Además el apartado visual también está cubierto por Fuzichoco, un prestigioso artista japones que entre otras cosas ha colaborado diseñando personajes para Fire Emblem Heroes.

    Touhou Genso Mahjong tiene quizás menos que contar, no por que no sea interesante ver a más de 100 chicas de Touhou Project jugar al dominó japones (que en realidad no tiene nada que ver con el dominó, por mucho que nos empeñemos a verlo), si no porque este tipo de juegos basados en juegos de mesa tradicionales nipones es bastante difícil que salgan de las fronteras del País del Sol Naciente. ¡Menos mal que Nintendo Switch es region free y se puede comprar en otras regiones! Así que si queréis gritar “Chi”, “Kong” y demás vocablos de la jerga del Mahjong caracterizados por una de las chicas de Touhou podréis hacerlo tanto de manera local como online a partir del 30 de enero.

音楽遍歴どうなってんのって話・その1

タイトル通りの話です

こういう曲聴いて育てばこういう曲を聴いて育てばこういう人間できるんだな～とか、子の曲懐かしい～程度に読んでいただければ幸いです

ついで程度に影響を受けてきたものも紹介できればな～と

（ただ記憶が曖昧なので曲がリリースされた時が前後している可能性があります･･･ご了承ください）

端折り気味ですけど、まとまりきらないのは知っているので･･･

～幼少期～

聞いていたというより聞いてきた/聞かされてきたというのが正しい頃です

とはいえだいぶ今にも影響が及んでるので覚えている限りで紹介

KICK THE CAN CREW - アンバランス

世代の曲です。未だに日本語ラップが好きなのはここから来ていると思います

岡村靖幸 - どぉなっちゃってんだよ

親が単純に好きでよく聞いていました。今聞くとまじですげえなぁ・・・��

嘉門達夫 - 替え唄大メドレー

カセットテープ擦り切れるほど聞いていた記憶あります。ここから転じて色んなJ-Popにも出会うきっかけになったし、だいぶ僕の音楽知識が世代ズレ起こしている原因でもあります

ユニコーン - 大迷惑

今でも大好きなバンドです。本当に好きで憧れでもあります。

奥田民生さんの楽曲も漏れなく聞いており、知らない人はとにかく聞いて欲しいバンドです

幼少期はこういうドメジャーなとこのJ-popとかJ-Rockも聞いていた記憶あります...後は音楽番組とか見ていた影響でaikoとか浜崎あゆみとか聞いたりしてました。

バンドものだとcomplexとかRIZEとかウルフルズとか戸川純とか･･･挙げるとキリがないほど聞いてました

この頃楽器は和太鼓をやっており、いわゆるジプシーな曲を叩いてました

アニメはケロロ軍曹とかボーボボが好きでした

～小学生時代・中学生前半～

本めっちゃ読んでてSFCとかSS、PSとかのお下がりのゲームを読んでるナードでした。ネット環境が来たのは恐らく3年生の頃でここから音楽のdigが始まるようになりました。

IOSYS - 魔理沙は大変なものを盗んでいきました

全てこの曲のせい

ガバキック、170くらいのBPM、どう聞いてもクラブミュージックあがりのアニソン(っぽいの)･･･････

第二の元凶

むしろ今更説明することないんですけど、僕のツンデレシリーズ曲はニコニコメドレーに影響を受けてます

RADWIMPS - ふたりごと

おかずのごはんがリリースされてから知ったバンド。当時一番好きでした

LOSTPROPHETS - Last Train Home

今もCDショップにあるのか分からないですけど、当時視聴コーナーで聞いて即アルバムを親に買ってもらったバンド。

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - 明日の記憶

当時ツタヤかどっかで無名バンドを揃えて配っていたフリーコンピ、Style Real Rockで知ったバンド。今でも滅茶苦茶好きなバンドです。

余談ですけどStyle Real RockのメンツがMAN WITH A MISSION、オワリカラ、完全にノンフィクション、シリカに真空ホロウやらヘンリーヘンリーズやら･･･今見るとヤバイ面子でした

この頃はおもしろ���ービーズとか最盛期でよく見ていました。アニメを見るにしても音MADが先か、アニメが先かといった感じでdigっておりだいぶアニメ知識をここで植えつけていたな、と

J-popとかも変わらず聞いており、友人の幅が増えたことで湘南乃風とかのいわゆるジャパレゲもよく聞いてました

この頃にキノの旅とか涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱とかに出会ってしまい段々拗れてきます。

～中学生後半~

前半後半にした理由として、後半に入ってついにギターを手にしてしまいます。ここが人生のターニングポイントでもあったな～～と思い分けました。

BUMP OF CHICKEN - 車輪の唄

最初にギターでコピーした曲でもあり、初ステージもこの曲でした。

ギターを手にして一ヶ月足らずでコピーしてステージに立ったのは、今となってはまぁいい思い出です

Alcatrazz - Jet to Jet

豚になる前のインギー。

ここに急に至った経緯ですが･･･初ライブを終えてもっとギター上手くなろうと何故か思ってしまい、とりあえず上手い人のプレイ見まくろうとニコ動でスーパーギタリスト集を漁っていたのが原因です。

HR/HMにハマるきっかけ･･･でもあり、このライブ映像後半のギター破壊プレイとか変な方向へさらに曲がっていく原因でもあった気がします

エリオをかまってちゃん - Os-宇宙人

最初聞いたときだいぶ喰らった一曲です。この頃は難しいこと抜きにこんなんありかよ！！って言っていた記憶あります。

ドラマのモテキにてロックンロールは鳴り止まないっを聞いて これまた喰らった記憶もあります。今思えばわりかし僕の曲作りにおいて、初期衝動を忘れない、という原点になっているかもです。

同じドラマのモテキからはN'夙川ボーイズやら在日ファンク、女王蜂、フジファブリックがピックアップされておりどのバンドもだいぶ喰らってました。

te'  -  如何に強大な精神や力といえども知性なくしては『無』に等しい。

これもだいぶ喰らったバンドです。当時インストという音楽を知らず最初聞いたときはボーカルいつ入るんだこれ？って聞いてましたが、アルバム全部聞き終える頃にはボーカルってなくても音楽は成立するんだなって気がつかされたバンドです

ちなみにギタリストだと他にマイケルシェンカーとかジェフベックがこの頃好きでした。

ライブ映像ですけどこの曲も今思えば、今の音楽に入った核なのかな～と思います

バンドはこの頃に残響レコードを知って、その周辺とか掘ったり、既にジャケ買い/ジャケ借りを無限に繰り返しwalkmanを何個も容量限界まで入れては買ってもらっての繰り返しでした。

正確な年数が思い出せないため曖昧ですが、この頃にボーカロイドが始めて世に出てきた年でryoさんのメルトとか みくみくにしてあげる♪とか全く新しい音楽の形に喰らっていた頃です。

で、この頃を語るにどうしてもはずせないのが...電波ソングです

とはいえ前々から電波ソングは聴いていたのですが、きちんと電波ソングという名称を知ったのがこの頃だったので･･･

またイオシスやんけ･･･

最初に電波ソングとして聞いたのがこれか いただきじゃんがりあんRのOP 「Love Cheat！」  とか さくらんぼキッス  ～爆発だも～ん～あたりだと思うけどまぁとりあえずこれを紹介

IOSYS - エンドレスヘブン

･･･またイオシスじゃねーか！！！！！

この曲は電波ソングとして完璧な出来だと思います。

意味の無い歌詞、よく分からん声ネタ展開の適当さ、いきなり入ってくるブレイクダウン･･･最高ですね

電波ソングは本当に好きな音楽で、それこそ中・高時代は電波ソングを掘り当てるためにアニソンをdigっていたってレベルだったのでだいぶ末期でした

多感な中学生時代に色んな音楽に出会えていて本当に良かったと思ってます(こなみ)

ギターは習い始めた頃でブルースやジャズ/フュージョンなどやってました。

その関係上、勿論その方面の音楽を聞くわけで･･･

なんか色々あってスコット・ヘンダーソンを無限にコピーしてました。

フュージョンといえば無難にシャカタクなんかもかっこいいよねって話。

T-SQUARE - TRUTH

フュージョン知らない人でもこの曲は知ってると思います。

未だにフュージョンといえばって感じのアンセムです

･･･ってことで完全にフュージョン方面にドハマリしてました。

将来フュージョンバンドやるか医者になるかってレベルでハマってました。

ということで、音楽遍歴全体で言うと20&くらい説明し終わりました･･･

ここからが更に変な方面のdiggerへと変貌していきます･･･
