okay, I don't want this guy to just entirely vanish into the aether so I'm posting ONE photo at the most flattering angle I can find, but.... man 😭 I worked on this for so long and struggled so much and every change and tweak I made hoping to improve the shape just made me less satisfied. There are individual things I'm happy with, like figuring out how to "squint" the eyes and the overall weight and flop of the body, but I feel like I need to revisit the pattern and make some pretty dramatic changes. I may have to accept that I need to break it up into more than like... ten major pieces 😮‍💨

#idk if this sounds insane but i feel like this one never quite ''came alive'' the whole time i was working on it #holding it doesn't make me Feel anything except frustration skdhsj #so I'm probably gonna take it apart to reclaim the pellets and face pieces for the next attempt :|#artbyrom #the little creature coterie #on the plus side i DID go ahead and order thr Good Fur #i got 1'' and 1/2'' pile in a nice ~ivory~ white so it's got a warm creamy tint to it #and i got a whole yard of each so i will have enough for experiments and I'm looking forward to it :3

Why Am I Not Doing That Right Now. Why Does That Seem So Hard When I Know I Can Do That #the answer is these sketchbook belong to like. high schoolers. who are drawing in them all day in school and shit.#instead of working a full time job and then coming home exhausted #if i was still a teenager i could put out that volume and level of art #and i did! but my issue is i did it on loose copy paper that i would then tape up on my walls.#so i dont have a sick ass full sketchbook like that. and i also wasnt sticking everything ever into it to make it look crazy cool #cuz that wasnt really the Thing back then afaik #as an adult i have many partially filled sketchbooks. its embarrassing.#but whatever we go on! and im trying not to be too precious with this one #maybe in a few years itll be like those fun thicc sketchbook tiktoks or whatever. for now im just getting silly with it #this page was actually full of like practice scribbles for something else before. then i put a bunch of postits and blank labels over it #and then drew over those in acrylic paint markers and micron pens #and then packing tape over all that to keep the postits in place. and a few stickers for funsies #im happy with how it turned out actually :)

I was going to ask google a question about greek yogurt and... yeah, so my keyboard's being weird again

#I just ordered a bluetooth one.#I'm about to have the most ridiculous little set-up with my extra keyboard on top of my laptop keybboard but so it goes #the keys ARE better though. it's not as bad. whatever the tech guys did helped but it's not fixed #so I'm just going to get a new one. it's fine. maye it'll fix itself at some point but for now this'll work.#this one isn't detachable so it'll look very silly but as long as I don't have to spend 10 minutes struggling with typos then it's fine.#the BT keyboard can (allegedly) connect to my phone too so that's actually really nice? I might get a lot of use out of it once it's here.#also does grgeek yogurt get really wet when you microwave it lol #I was heating up a freezer meal because that's my 'hyperfocus on fixing one specific area of my life' thing right now #(just finding ways to fight off the ADHD 'forget to eat' thing)#and there was yogurt in the recipe. it's a creamy quinoa chicken pesto thing #and it's very soggy. tastes fine but it's quite wet and I think it's the greek yogurt separating or something.#it worked great right out of the oven but idk about freezing this one. sad.
