i love that maxwell’s entire role this episode was to be the failboy of the group. almost falls off when walking the plank. has less whimsy than wealwell. starts talking and immediately pisses off two separate factions. has no skills that relate to observation or tools or anything all he knows is punch and be rowdy. 10/10 character no notes

I spent a chunk of today at a local fiber arts get together. There were local vendors with yarn, fiber, baskets, and other goodies as well as a bunch of people who spin, knit, needle felt or otherwise play with string.

I brought bobbin lace to work on - and show off - because it's something people don't often see. I got this much of a bookmark finished

The best thing about these events is the connections. I got to see people I rarely see, and meet new folks. I've got a lead on some Shetland fleece in the future, and a local(ish) group doing some flax processing that I might be able to get involved with.

It was a great day and well worth the drive!
