Again...it's only been 6 weeks. This is a lot of stuff going down...a press tsunami-like amount of stuff going down, some might say.

While Meghan doesn't have the scale of attention and fame that she did back in 2017 - 2018 when the press tsunami of Fall 2018* was hitting her at all sides from all sides at all times, she still has a kind of notoriety that gets her a lot of attention and she has enough...staying power, I guess, if you will, that the volume of criticism can overwhelm her, the same way it did back in 2018.

Think of it like a wave pool. Everything Meghan does makes waves but every once in while, a big wave comes along that knocks everyone down. It's not a press tsunami because it's not coming at her from all sides at all sides at all times, but there's enough being thrown at her in repetitive succession that she can't handle it. And not only does she have difficulty handling all this criticism herself, she doesn't have the kind power to compel others to defend her the way she did back in 2018 - so she truly is handling her own defense.

And when Meghan has to defend herself, her MO to escalate her activities to distract us from other stuff that's happening. So the more she posts on social media, the more these confessional-style videos come out, the more it feels like she's trying to keep us further away.

So for me right now, it feels like a lot of distraction. Her behavior is more over the top than we've seen recently. She's featuring the kids on her social media, which should raise flags given how intensely protective they are of the kids' privacy. She and Harry have always been overly-PDA, far more than most celeb couples are, but kissing and hugging and being overly touchy the way they were at the Invictus opening ceremony feels like an overreaction to deflect 3 months of divorce rumors.

Now granted, it has been 8 years since Meghan was on social media and - speaking only for myself - I didn't follow her and I didn't give her any attention back then so I don't know if the way she is in these videos now (i.e., manic, hyperactive, fidgety) is how she was 10 years ago. This may very well be her normal and if that's the case, then with time I'll probably downgrade it back to Level 2.

But this behavior from Meghan is not how she's been acting since 2017 - she's usually more composed, more practiced, more in control of herself - which makes me wonder that there's something else going on. In my experience, when someone has such a huge personality difference like this, they're overcompensating and they're hiding something.

Again, let me remind you: I don't know if this is how Meghan was before the BRF pulled her into their orbit. I'm just saying that this version of her, this character (if you will) is different in a smoke, shadows, distraction kind of way because there's way more at stake now than there was back in 2018.

So for me that means upping the stakes on Divorce Watch for now.

A quick look at their Archewell form 990s proves that Archewell DID NOT donate to ‘Harry’s’ charities, Sentebale and Invictus.However, both Invictus (Heart of Invictus) and Sentebale (Polo) were exploited for the Sussex’s Netflix deal for content. The charities put up all the money for the events that were filmed, while the Sussexes profited via Netflix filming them. Think of it this way: Netflix DID NOT pay for the expenses in putting on Invictus Games, or the Polo tournaments. Invictus and Sentebale charities money did, including staffing costs. Curiously, Sentebale was registered as a service mark in the US in September 2024. The trademark application for mental health services (perhaps through BetterUp commercially) was denied for being too broad/vague. This does show there was a move to commercialise and profit off of Sentebale in the US. Sentebale Chair, Sophie Chandauka confirmed in her live TV interview that their polo tournament fundraiser in Miami had to move to a different venue, one month before, as Harry and Meghan were using it for Netflix content. This changed the tournament’s original venue (given at a steeply discounted charitable rate) since it was now being exploited for commercial purposes. If you want an American celebrity who can be compared to Marie Antoinette, try a Kardashian. That would be actually on point.

Am I supposed to believe that the people who read Moir's column are completely ignorant of all the other super rich people in Montecito? Why would Harry's wife qualify as a "Marie Antoinette of Montecito" when Ted Sarandos's wife lives in Montecito. Yes, Ted Sarandos who made $50 million in 2022 alone and bought an expensive mansion from Ellen Degeneres that wasn't on markdown, unlike The Olive Garden monstrosity. Ted Sarandos's wife, Nicole Avant, would qualify as the "Marie Antoinette of Montecito" just due to the extreme wealth her husband has been given by his company.

But Harry's wife? She's an unimportant celebrity in the US. No one cares about her! NO ONE! Except her minuscule fan club. Columns like this make it look like the UK press is trying to make Meghan happen. Just like fetch!

No, you have to be an actual ROYAL with a lightweight career to make a "Marie Antoinette" accusation stick. Being just another celebrity in the SoCal environment doesn't qualify, regardless of how many haters she has. No one in the U. S. of A. is going to show up at The Montecito Olive Garden with pitchforks demanding her head. Hardly anyone knows she still exists, except those like Jan Moir who write columns to remind us of her existence and activities.

No, to really qualify as a modern-day "Marie Antoinette" you have to

be known for your exhaustive closet

be known as lazy

spend more time on your personal life than a normal person who works a regular job/occupation

solely focus on frivolous causes, i.e. feelings over food.

be an actual royal

have a vast majority of your country of residence hate you

Moir's vapid article struggles to connect Harry's wife to those basic points. Also, apparently Jan Moir has no idea what is actually going on in California and/or the USA because she seems to not realize that no one actually cares about Harry & his wife. They are nobodies in the US. They should be glad that they got a Vanity Fair cover recently because everyone forgot they existed and will go back to forgetting they exist!

Becker was already scheduled to speak at the Dublin conference and Misan pitched the idea of Meghan's participation.

Becker referred Meghan to HIS AGENT, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne.

If I remember correctly, in Gina's pre-wedding articles and interviews, she mentioned that Meghan contacted her office in 2014 to express an interest in helping with the OYW conference(s). I had no idea that Meghan and Misan were friendly while Meghan cohabitated with Celebrity Chef Cory.

MEgain did not choose Misan for her engagement photographs. Misan has only been in the photography business for five (5) years.

Soho House members, the York Sisters, invited Misan to capture the moment Edo proposed to Beatrice. (sigh & smh) SAME Eugenie who told the press, "we really like her..." when someone (OMIT & Jessica) gave Camilla Tominey permission to publicize their affair. Camilla repeatedly writes that William MUST forgive Sparry. Tominey cares nothing for the Wales family or the country. Her interests are rooted in greed and irresponsible reporting to sell papers.

Notice The Meghans began paying Misan during MEGXIT. He captured the stills and video footage for Megflix. He is also paid by Invictus. There's a lot of cash flowing into Misan's bank account via The Meghan and their archeficicial business ventures. IRS, where you at???? 🤔

Do the math. If they met in July of 2016 and had 5-6 months together in secret, Camilla's article would have been published in December or January, not October/November.

Camilla's article was published at the time of their Toronto (soho house) Halloween party with Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank: October 2016 = only 3 dating months.

If they began dating during Sparry's Spring promotional visit to Toronto for Ingriftus, then YES--- they were "together" (like spooning bananas) for five (5) months before MEgain leaked the details to Tominey

Sparry is just as much of a compulsive liar as his wife. He lies about the unnecessary details:

In a world of meritocracy, we have watched Meghan Markle, Sparry, and Andrew get away with murder. Zero on the job consequences for bad behavior------>Out of touch with everyday people.

Andrew & Sparry have caused permanent damage to brand BRF. When Charles chooses tone deafness over humility and shame, they are begging the people for a Republic.

Normal people pay a price for their unwise decisions. Selfish Charles chose Jesus' resurrection day to rub Andrew into the faces of the British people and global royal watchers.

People won't take these moments of pure contempt for the will and opinions of the people and just let it all go due to cancer. Charles is still seen as a feckless king who will ultimately destroy this monarchy because it appears he cannot or will not manage his household.

After visiting Davos, Eugenie was quick to parrot her elitist, WEF talking points. There was no critical thinking about the issue(s) (like, "hmm, my husband wears glasses"), just a regurgitation of elitist talking points.

No one wants to see Andrew on Easter Sunday or for that matter at any other holiday. Seeing him jolly on parade is a slap in the face to all who had a deep affection for Queen Elizabeth's virtues and basic human decency. It's past time for him to retire from public life.

CC, an indicator on H&M's finances can be seen in the kind of clothes Meghan merches at the Invictus Games. In 2022, it was Valentino non-stop at the IG. This year, it was a cheap clothing brand (J Crew Factory). Definitely not in the same league as Valentino. Lady C said in a recent video that Meghan asked the Germans to give her a haute couture allowance and a penthouse suite and everything else that A-Listers ask for. The Germans said NO. Doesn't sound like the money's rolling in these days.

I'm glad you caught that and pointed it out. The clothing is a very good indication not only of their finances, but of what sort of deals Meghan can get (and I believe Banana Republic was also worn and was very quick to disassociate themselves from her).

If what Lady C says is true (I am saying 'if' as this is all allegedly, gossip and rumour etc), then I am very glad that Meghan was told No. The hide of her, a failed z-list celebrity, asking to be treated like an A-lister. She may be delusional in terms of her importance but it is good to know that others see her for what she is worth. Apparently she has a history of asking for freebies from everyone, so it is nice to know that this time she failed.

I have thought that money was tight for the Harkles for years. it may be that they are just feeling the pinch now.

It's enough to spoil the duchess's latest batch of strawberry jam.

New figures released by Netflix and obtained by DailyMail.com show that not only has viewer interest in Meghan and Harry fallen off a cliff, the couple has been well and truly eclipsed by the popularity of their former friends, David and Victoria Beckham.

Engagement figures for 2023, released last week, reveal that the Beckhams' eponymous documentary hit the top spot for global viewing with a whopping 43.9million views between July and December last year.

In that same period Harry & Meghan's Limited Series Volumes I and II, limped in with just 1.9million views and 12.6million total views across the year.

When it first aired in December 2022 the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's docuseries was an instant hit, giving Netflix its biggest debut with 81.6million hours viewed in the first four days. But, after an initial frenzy, figures began a steady slide as millions of viewers lost interest and the series lost traction well before the sixth episode aired.

The show has now slumped to 211 on the streaming platform's global chart while 'Beckham' is No. 1 with 3.5 times the viewing figures and 208.5million hours viewed in the first two months alone.

The disparity is perhaps due in part to the fact that fans who had tuned into Harry and Meghan's docuseries hoping for insight and intimacy were instead left tired by their relentlessly, 'woe is me' tone. Viewers complained about the couple's self-absorption and the fact that for all their enviable privilege they seemed to do nothing but bemoan their lot.

In stark contrast 'Beckham' was a show that left viewers uplifted by the Beckham's family life, relationship and work ethic. Fans raved at the couple's 'resilience,' and marveled at Beckham's self-effacing grit and ambition.

Aside from their flagging docuseries the couple's much-vaunted Netflix deal has so far only produced two shows which, the latest figures show, have struggled to generate any interest at all.

'Heart of Invictus,' released in August 2023 and covering Prince Harry's games for wounded warriors wheezed across the line with just 300,000 views in 2023.

'Live to Lead,' released in December 2022, about inspiring world leaders and featuring interviews with Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Gloria Steinem garnered just 800,000 views.

And when it comes to bang for their buck the Sussex's with their $100million deal are a long way from keeping up with the Beckhams whose 43.9million views cost Netflix a comparatively modest $20million.

Coincidentally that is the size of the Spotify deal that Harry and Meghan lost when it fell apart in 2023 with just 12 episodes of Meghan's 'Archetypes' podcast to show for it.

The row is believed to have heightened when the Sussexes allegedly accused the Beckhams of leaking stories about them to the press - while royal biographers claimed Meghan 'didn't like the footballer's friendship with Prince William.

Speaking at the time Spotify's Head of Podcast Innovation and Monetization, Bill Simmons, famously described the couple as 'grifters,' saying, 'I wish I had been involved in the 'Meghan and Harry leave Spotify' negotiation. ' The F***ing Grifters.' That's the podcast we should have launched with them.'

Now, sources are speculating that their Netflix deal may be about to go the same way with Meghan's cooking and lifestyle show and Harry's documentary about polo being described as 'padding,' by some, while others ask what they have left to share now that their relationship with the rest of the royal family is all but over.

Harry and Meghan's one-time close friendship with Victoria and David Beckham has similarly soured. The former Spice Girl turned clothes designer and her husband were guests at the Sussex's wedding back in May 2019.

Meghan often wore Victoria's designs with the older woman opening her little black book of UK stylists to her when she first set up home in the country.

Later, according to biographer Tom Bower, David, 49, and Victoria, 50, offered the couple refuge in their Los Angeles home when they were looking for a place in the States.

But according to Bower a telephone call from Harry to the former Manchester United star left Beckham 'furious' and effectively ended the once warm friendship.

According to Bower the royals were concerned that close friends were leaking stories about them to the press and Meghan particularly suspected Victoria. Harry called and repeated this accusation to Beckham and the rest, and the friendship, is history.

Now, to rub salt into the wounds of the Beckhams' soaring popularity in the face of the Sussex's decline, Beckham has probably spent more time with King Charles III than Harry has this year, as the former England captain has been announced as the newest ambassador to the King's Foundation.

The King and the former footballer are now reportedly 'bee-keeping buddies' who have exchanged pots of honey from their respective hives in Highgrove and Oxfordshire as well as bee-keeping tips.

RTA, do you have a record of when exactly the first rumours about Harry and Meghan divorce/separation started? Or how? And what was being said at that time?

My Spidey senses have been tingling every since it was reported that Meghan shoped for a post divorce book deal. I wonder if Meghan herself is fanning those rumours. It serves the dual purpose of needling Harry as well as bringing back some interest in her. As cringe and embarrassing as she is, a lot of people are saying she is the one who seems to be working while Harry just wants to lounge by the poolside.

To be clear I don't think so, some people I've talked to say this as a joke. I think whatever money they have or have coming in is because of Harry and not because of her.

This is beginning to look a lot like a devaluation phase of Harry.

Divorce/separation rumors about the Sussexes have been around the wedding. In other words, very few people outside of the Sussex Squad thinks (or thought) they were together for the long haul. So divorce has always been swirling around them. Some serious, some not.

But if I had to say, I'd say the vibes around Sussex divorce rumors changed in late 2021/early 2022.

Late 2021 was right after the Sussexes finally launched their post-Megxit strategy for American success. First was the Time 100 cover (aka Hair Stylist Harry), then was the NYC visit (which included their first red carpet gala) which was all panned, criticized, and ridiculed.

And hot on the Sussexes' heels - also pushing them out of the spotlight in a very major way - was a glamorous royal red carpet at the James Bond premiere, followed quickly by William's his first Earthshot ceremony and an emergency hospitalization by The Queen (which scared everyone). It's probably one of the better "this or that" comparisons in the Cambridges vs Sussexes dynamic and the Sussexes definitely got a very losing stick.

Springtime 2022 is when tarot readers and astrologists began picking up on divorce for the Sussexes. It started in March 2022 and went through about September 2022. This time is one of those instances where many different readers across several different platforms (including some that I know aren't aware of each other) are "seeing" similar things, so I feel pretty comfortable saying that there was something in the universe at this time legitimately about a Sussex divorce.

Hindsight being 20/20, 2022 was a pretty big 'make or break' year for the Sussexes. They had their first "major" tour (The Hague Invictus Games), their first visit back to the UK (the secret Windsor visit and the Platinum Jubilee, and Netflix and Spotify were demanding content. So everything had to go well for them. But it didn't.

Bad News #1: The secret visit to Windsor. No one even knew they were there till Meghan leaked it herself, and then no one really cared.

Bad News #2: The Hague IG. Meghan stole all the media coverage with her couture fashion and the criticism was loud. Very loud.

Bad News #3: Netflix dropped Pearl, Meghan's girl power show for children. Aw, so sad.

Bad News #4: Platinum Jubilee. Worse than no one caring, the public booed them and the family publicly shunned them three times (no carriage or balcony at Trooping, seats in Siberia at the jubilee service, no one going to Lili's birthday party).

I think this is when Meghan decided she needed to ditch Harry because it wasn't going well for her. She "separated" her brand from Harry's the first time, doing an interview with Vogue, a second interview with The Cut, and releasing Archetypes. Harry wasn't in the picture anymore. So perhaps this when she shopped her divorce memoir.

(And we all know what happened next - the European tour rudely interrupted by The Queen's death, followed by 3 weeks trapped in London for royal mourning and the funeral. She may have decided to stay, thinking that Harry was going to get a few upgrades now that he was the son of The King.)

Anyway, just a theory and speculation.

So long story short to answer your question: actual/real divorce rumors started in 2022 but the speculation has been around since the engagement, basically.

(Also, I don't have the link anymore but in May 2022, there was a YouTube tarot reader who predicted a 2025 divorce for the Sussexes. We will find out this year if they were right.)

The purpose of the visit was to introduce the royal couple to Nigeria's rich socio-cultural heritage and provide an opportunity for the Duchess of Sussex to explore her Nigerian lineage.

Also, the event aimed to bolster Nigeria's bid to host the Invictus Games 2027 and support the proposal to establish the Invictus Centre in Nigeria, which would provide assistance to wounded, injured, and sick soldiers, among others.

During her address at the event, Dabiri-Erewa expressed joy at Meghan Markle's revelation two years ago that she has Nigerian ancestry, discovering she is 43 percent Nigerian through genealogy research conducted in 2022.

She also pledged the support of the over 20 million Nigerians in the diaspora towards achieving the set goals.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lucrative Spotify deal fell apart in 2023, Bill Simmons, The Ringer’s founder and managing director, was incensed.

“I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation,” Simmons, the head of podcast innovation and monetization at Spotify, which owns The Ringer, said on his self-titled show. “‘The F–king Grifters.’ That’s the podcast we should have launched with them.”

Simmons’ astonishing comments followed the collapse of the Montecito, California-based Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s $20 million deal with Spotify, signed in December of 2020. They delivered just 12 episodes of Markle’s “Archetypes” podcast.

But the Spotify contract paled in comparison to the estimated $100 million Netflix agreed in September 2020 to pay them, a deal which produced a documentary series “Harry & Meghan” two years later — and little else since then.

Aside from the docuseries, the exclusive Netflix deal produced the “Heart of Invictus” in August 2023, which covered Prince Harry’s games for wounded warriors, and “Live to Lead,” about inspiring world leaders and featured interviews with Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Gloria Steinem. That series premiered on Dec. 31, 2022.

Unproduced is an animated series created by Markle titled “Pearl,” which Netflix axed in May 2022 as part of a series of cutbacks. There is little else close to production.

What’s gone wrong? TheWrap spoke to multiple insiders who say the Sussexes have worn out their welcome in Hollywood with an iron-fisted desire for control, combined with a lack of experience. A revolving door of executives have departed the couple’s production company, Archewell, in the past two years while a long list of exhausted agents, producers and other industry veterans have stamped it with a “life’s too short” reputation.

The Sussexes founded Archewell Productions in the name of their four-year-old son, Archie. It includes their nonprofit charitable foundation, plus a for-profit arm focused on media projects.

“Everything with them was fraught and complicated because they wanted complete control,” one Hollywood creative who has worked with them, who declined to be identified, told TheWrap.

Another insider with knowledge of the management of Archewell agreed, saying the couple have proven to be stubborn to the point of alienating others.

“It appears that they just want what they want and won’t take advice,” the insider said.

“Taking on Harry and Meghan was a great coup for Netflix,” public relations and image guru Mark Borkowski told TheWrap. “It probably got a lot of eyeballs and subscriptions, but they [Harry and Markle] never delivered.”

Borkowski added that the clients he works with are closely watching their budgets and costs, but, given the former royals’ lifestyle, “The amount of income this pair has to raise is enormous.”

An insider with knowledge of the Netflix deal with Archewell said it is an “overhead agreement,” meaning not all the money would go to the Sussexes, but it also helps fund their staff, office and development fees.

Archewell and the Sussexes declined to comment for this story.

The former royal couple were initially a hot property. Before signing with Netflix, they also had discussions with Apple, Disney and NBCUniversal, The New York Times first reported. Meghan previously narrated a documentary about elephants for Disney+, and Harry collaborated with Oprah Winfrey on a docuseries about mental health for Apple TV+.

The “Harry & Meghan” docuseries, directed by Liz Garbus, was a legitimate hit, setting a record for the biggest debut for a Netflix documentary with a total 81.6 million hours watched on its first four days of availability, amounting to more than 28 million households watching.

The series was an intimate glimpse inside the Sussexes’ marriage and made headlines for their criticism of the British royal family for failing to support them, including allegations of racism and a narrative that the couple was essentially forced to leave England for the U.S.

But production was apparently difficult. One individual with knowledge of the series said dealing with the former royal couple was a “nightmare” as they were fiercely protective of their story.

“Harry and Meghan made the collaborative process very hard, to the point that there was no collaboration at all,” the insider said.

Other projects have not gotten off the ground.

Netflix and Markle announced “Pearl” with much fanfare in 2021. The animated series — co-executive produced by Markle and David Furnish — was to center on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history. Netflix canceled it the following year while it was still in the development stage.

There have been reports Netflix bought the romantic Carley Fortune book “Meet Me at the Lake” for $1 million for the pair to produce into a movie. Other plans included a TV drama feminist retelling of Miss Havisham from Charles Dickens’ “Great Expectations” and a documentary about Prince Harry traveling solo in Africa. But these all seem far from getting off the ground.

Another Archewell insider told TheWrap that “Meet Me at the Lake” was “in active development,” but has not yet been cast. And Harry’s trip to Africa has not been scheduled. Some projects will be announced in the next few months, the insider added.

“They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on,” Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria said at the “Next on Netflix” event on Feb. 1 of Markle and Harry, including “a movie in development” and “a [scripted] series.”

Bajaria emphasized that these projects were still in “early development,” which raises the question what exactly has been going on between Archewell and Netflix? COVID struck at the start of their deal, Markle went on maternity leave and then the writers’ and actors’ strikes halted production for much of last year. But with all that, it is it is remarkable how little the couple have actually made work for the streamer.

Reps for Netflix, which has also pulled back on its TV and film expenditure during the work stoppages, declined to comment. Harry and Markle do not have guild relationships so any non-U.S. productions would not have been affected.

Markle recently announced she’s joining forces with Lemonada Media — whose tag line is “Making Life Suck 🍋 Less” — for a new podcast, and it will also rerun her “Archetypes” podcast. The company, founded in 2019 by Jessica Cordova Kramer and Stephanie Wittels Wachs, is small and is not expected to be a big pay day for Markle.

The actress is still earning residuals from “Suits,” which recently found an entirely new audience on Netflix.

Archewell turnover: Meanwhile, there has been a dramatic executive turnover at Archewell — particularly those negotiating TV, film and media deals. Mandana Dayani, a human rights activist and business executive, was the president of Archewell from May 2021 to December 2022 and stepped down just days before Harry and Markle’s docuseries aired, with no reason offered. 

The company also lost its BAFTA-winning head of content Ben Browning in January 2023 after his contract expired. Browning, who worked on “Harry & Meghan” and the “Archetypes” podcast, returned to his former employer, FilmNation Entertainment as president of production.

Bennett Levine, their production manager, also left in January, as did Rebecca Sananes, Markle and Harry’s head of audio who left to work as a freelance writer and podcast producer after the “Archetypes” podcasts were concluded.

The company has also parted ways with their SVP of scripted television, “Fargo” producer Nishika Kumble, who lasted less than two years in the role.

“Meghan and Harry don’t have a quality team around them,” Borkowski said. “They drive this ship, they are in the wheelhouse. Whether you are the Obamas or Meghan and Harry, you have to defer to people who can really get the job done.

“They just need to sort out a proper production company, they need significant hires,” he added. “People who can actually develop scripts, wrangle talent.”

The Archewell insider insisted the couple has hired talented new executives. Tracy Ryerson was brought in as the new head of scripted content. She formerly worked at the production company behind “Peaky Blinders,” Caryn Mandabach Productions, and starred in a reality show titled “The Real L Word.” Former Disney+ executive Chanel Pysnik joined in 2021 as head of unscripted.

The Sussexes made a surprise appearance at the Jamaica premiere of the Bob Marley biopic “One Love” in late January, sparking speculation about a possible deal with the film’s distributor Paramount Pictures, especially given that they reportedly travelled with the company’s boss Brian Robbins — who is a neighbor in Montecito — via a Paramount private jet.

Yet parent company Paramount Global is strongly rumored to be up for sale, so it is unlikely to be a safe landing pad for the couple.

Last August it was announced that WME signed Markle to be repped by Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, Brad Slater and Jill Smoller. Archewell is also being repped by the agency, which didn’t comment to TheWrap.

“She is extremely ambitious and knows what she wants,” an industry insider told TheWrap of Markle’s discussions with the talent agency. “But there have been issues with executive turnover inside Archewell.”

In the meantime, The Sussexes need to make money to keep up their California lifestyle and their $14.65 million mansion. The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported that they made around $20 million from their tell-all documentary, while Harry made an estimated $15 million from his memoir “Spare.”

“I think possibly Netflix has dodged a bullet,” Borkowski said. “They know their content, they are data wonks, they know where the interest is. So they’ve got a very good idea or not whether there is a huge amount of excitement around Meghan and Harry.”

The viewing public may not be interested in a romantic movie from the Sussexes, he said. “They create a lot of column inches, but do people want content from them unless it is revealing something extraordinary [about themselves or the British royals]?” he said. “I don’t know how much more they can reveal.”

The deal, which was struck in 2020, resulted in only one show, the one-season, Markle-hosted “Archetypes.”

“I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry’ leave Spotify negotiation, the f–ing grifters,” he told guest Joe House on Friday’s episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast.” “I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories. F— the grifters.”

The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that Harry and Meghan would not receive the full $20 million from their payout. The two signed a deal with Netflix in 2020 to produce documentaries and series, and released their first show — a docuseries called “Harry & Meghan” — earlier this year.

Simmons, who founded sports and pop culture website The Ringer, sold it to Spotify in 2020 for $250 million. He’s in charge of several Ringer-branded podcasts at the podcast giant.

One would think Delfina is dumb as a post since it took her long enough, though there were signs...like leaning away from Megsy in so many pictures while Megsy tried to claw her way onto an arm. Or leg.

The issues going on with Sentabale are going to be the nail in Harry's coffin if what has been said by the chairwoman, Sophie Chandourka, is true.

The charity itself began losing all kinds of money when he and his PIG missus left the RF and it has never fully recovered.

Then he was using charity events to fulfill Netflix obligations without getting clearance first.

When Meghan and Dr. Chandourka had the scuttlebutt on the stage presenting the polo trophy, Harry demanded that Dr. Chandourka issue a statement defending Meghan because of all the bad press Meghan was getting - and Chandourka (rightfully) refused.

When Dr. Chandourka and her team began trying to flush out the major fundraising challenges, Harry and his goons started a major bullying campaign against her...until he and all of his sycophant trustees bailed the other day when she refused to resign. They were hoping to push her out...to make it appear as though they were going to swoope in and 'save' the charity from her. And she's like, "Oh, HELL NO."

Tell me this isn't happening at Invictus as well - and I'll sell you George Strait's ocean front property in Arizona.

Their Register Of Charities Report for the Charities Commission's last report is from 2023 and was released at the end of April last year. They really didn't have much income, but their books balance and everything is transparent and open. Their report for last year will be released about the same time in April this year. It will be interesting to see since Megsy's squad is passing a whole bunch of nonsense about how Chandourka spend $600K on this and $500K on that and all sorts of other figures the charity doesn't even have in an attempt to discredit her.

Invictus needs to completely clean house. It absolutely stinks to have Megsy steal from the charity to fund her wardrobe and other perks when the athletes have to pay their own way and for their housing while they participate.

I agree. The 2023 report looks completely fine -- even good. Most of the money went toward programs as opposed to fundraising and program expenses. The charity has done some admirable work. The question is what 2024 will look like.

I think it's going to look just as good as 2023. I looked at a few years prior to 2023, they're all online, and 2022 when she came on board and 2023 are very transparent. I can't believe she'd just fall apart last year. Especially not after making the statement that they had to move the Polo thing because it became too expensive and the people letting them use their private field wouldn't budge on the new price. No, I think she's too 'stick to the budget, this is where the money goes and that's it' to spend recklessly on anything. But you're right. End of April, we'll see.

I think Sophie Chandauka has all her ducks in a row and it is lovely to see. Team Harkles had an offensive in today's media, a lot of people, including Lady C, came out in defense while Telegraph, Harkles' paper of choice in the UK, had an article about obnoxious letter he send to the Chair Lady after she refused to defend his wifey, asking her to "explain herself". The ultimate tw@t 🤣🤣🤣
