The Philosophy of Ma’at
The philosophy of Ma’at originates from ancient Egyptian thought and represents the foundational principle of cosmic order, truth, justice, harmony, balance, and morality. Ma’at is both a goddess and a concept, symbolizing the natural law that governs the universe, society, and individual behavior. It played a central role in the ethics, politics, and religious life of ancient Egypt.
Key Principles of Ma’at
Cosmic Order and Harmony:
Ma’at embodies the natural order of the universe, ensuring that all elements of the world—both physical and metaphysical—exist in balanced harmony. This includes the movement of the stars, the cycles of nature, and human relationships.
Ma’at is the force that counters Isfet, or chaos. Maintaining Ma’at was essential to preserving the stability of the world and preventing the descent into disorder.
Truth and Justice:
Ma’at represents truth in both a literal and moral sense. To live in accordance with Ma’at is to live truthfully, embracing honesty, fairness, and justice.
In Egyptian society, kings (Pharaohs) were expected to rule according to Ma’at, ensuring justice in legal, social, and political matters. Judges and officials invoked Ma’at when making decisions, as justice was seen as a reflection of cosmic balance.
Moral and Ethical Conduct:
Living according to Ma’at involved a commitment to ethical behavior. This included virtues such as truthfulness, integrity, generosity, respect, humility, and compassion.
Individuals were expected to contribute to societal harmony by acting justly and in alignment with the community’s well-being. This included respect for family, honoring ancestors, and maintaining relationships based on mutual fairness and kindness.
Ritual and Religious Practice:
Ma’at was not just an abstract concept but also a goddess worshipped in temples and daily rituals. Pharaohs, as the earthly representatives of Ma’at, were tasked with performing rituals to ensure the continued balance between the gods, nature, and humanity.
Offerings and prayers to Ma’at were meant to maintain cosmic balance, ensuring favorable outcomes such as good harvests, protection from natural disasters, and societal peace.
Ma’at and the Afterlife:
In the afterlife, Ma’at played a key role in the judgment of souls. The Weighing of the Heart ceremony, described in the Book of the Dead, involved weighing a deceased person's heart against the feather of Ma’at. If the heart was lighter than the feather, the soul was deemed virtuous and granted access to the afterlife.
The symbolism of the feather represents purity, truth, and justice. If the heart was heavier, symbolizing a life of sin or imbalance, the soul would be devoured by Ammit, a creature representing annihilation.
Ma’at and Leadership:
Pharaohs were seen as upholders of Ma’at, both politically and religiously. Their rule was considered legitimate only as long as they maintained Ma’at, and their primary duty was to ensure justice, harmony, and the protection of their people from chaos (Isfet).
The king's role in upholding Ma’at was intertwined with religious duties, as they performed daily rituals to reaffirm the relationship between the gods and society.
Social and Environmental Responsibility:
Ma’at also extended to one’s responsibilities toward society and the environment. People were expected to contribute to the common good, maintain peaceful relationships, and live sustainably within the natural world.
Protecting the environment, fostering communal welfare, and adhering to one’s duties were seen as necessary to uphold Ma’at. Individuals who deviated from this path contributed to the breakdown of order.
Opposition to Isfet (Chaos):
Isfet, the opposite of Ma’at, represents disorder, injustice, falsehood, and destruction. Ancient Egyptians believed that the constant struggle between Ma’at and Isfet was inherent in the functioning of the cosmos.
Upholding Ma’at was a daily battle against Isfet. Actions like dishonesty, oppression, and violence were manifestations of Isfet and had to be resisted to preserve balance in society and the natural world.
The philosophy of Ma’at emphasizes the importance of balance, justice, truth, and harmony in all aspects of life—individual, social, and cosmic. It serves as a framework for ethical living, responsible leadership, and societal well-being, promoting a worldview in which all elements of existence are interconnected and must be in balance to sustain order and prevent chaos.

Tia -Apophis
Tia smirked as she came out from the shadows to greet her brother she hasn’t seen since they were kids. She was banished by her parents and was going to use her younger brother into taking over the Ra star universe. She invited a tri animal beast named Abbas to help rid of those Sailor Senshi. Unfortunately, she realized that he was still obsessing over that feline; Sailor Mau and that upset her so much as she was planning to betray him.

It's been a while since I made a post on here, and this idea won't leave me alone, so I'm sending into the void. Enjoy!
***
Batman glared at the man, a golden scythe gleaming in the low light of the abandoned office building. His white hair billowed like carbon dioxide gas off of dry ice, skin blue and mottled, and pointed ears pinned back like an angry cat, and he clutched the Batarang tighter in his fist. "I won't let you kill a single human."
The man scoffed. "Look at that thing in its eyes and tell me it's human." Batman glanced down at the Joker, beaten and bloodied at the man's feet. The ever-present, garish smile stretched tight over his face, pale white skin nearly transparent. His eyes showed only gleeful malice. But, still. He was human.
"His name is Jack--"
"Its name is Falak, Isfet, Nidhogg, Angra Mainyu. It's a chaos demon; it feeds on the anger and injustice of humans. It has possessed a human host and is sowing its chaos. There is no human life here to save, Batman. Just a demon who has been allowed to terrorize humans for too long." The scythe flashed quicker than Batman could track. He threw the batatang and it embedded itself in the mans hand a second too late. Joker's head rolled away as his body dropped to the ground.
"What gives you the right?!" Batman roared, readying another batatang. "Who made you judge jury and executioner?"
The man didn't react. Didn't so much as look up from the body at his feet. The Batarang was still stuck in his hand, and a viscous green liquid dripped to the ground. "I'm not." The man said quietly. "I'm not judge or jury or executioner."
On the ground, Joker's body began to smoke. Gray and black vapor poured off of him in wisps and trails, slowly coalescing into the shape of a giant, shadowy snake. "I'm just the arresting officer." The man said, readying his scythe. The man spared him one glance before saying "You may want to step back." Right before the snake struck.

Well, you asked, and I'm answering:
Egyptian Mythology and Mormon Theology: Comparing & Contrasting
This all began when I read the Book of Abraham, obviously. It didn't start with the Facsimiles however, but the Origin Myth of Egypt in Chapter 1, in which Abraham says that Egypt was founded by "Pharaoh," and was built after the order of Adam. But, before I can go on, we have to discuss what myths are
Myths
When you think Myth, you might think of something that's incorrect, such as the Flat Earth. But, in a scholarly sense, myths are stories, specifically linked to how the Divine interacts with mankind, and has lessons for the believer in that myth (often symbolically encoded, like Christ's Parables)
I have several neopagan friends, and most of them are not "mythical literalists," literally believing the myths are true. But, they're still important, because they tell them how their gods interact with Worshippers
On the other hand, the Book of Mormon is a Mythic Text. I believe it is a literal text, but it is also mythic, because it tells how God interacts with man
So, when I say Myth, I am not saying it was literally believed (because it may or may not have been), but I'm also not saying it didn't happen
The Creation
In the beginning, there was only the darkness of Nun (the Waters of Chaos, similar to Guinungagap in Norse Myth, or Matter Unorganized in the Temple Myth). From Nun, emerged Benben, the Home of the Gods. With Benben, came Ra, the God of Light (possibly in the form of Khepri). Ra [redacted because grossness], and from his Nose & Mouth came Shu (the God of Air), and Tefnut (the Goddess of Moisture)
Shu & Tefnut joined together, and bore Nut (the Sky Goddess) and Geb (the Earth God). Nut became pregnant with Quadruplets (or Pentuplets, depending on the Story). Ra forbade Nut from giving birth during the year, and so Nut (possibly using Thoth as an intermediary) won 5 days of light from Konshu (the Moon God), which is where the last 5 days of the year come from
This relates to the Creation Myth we believe in:
From Matter Unorganized comes a Creator, who separates the opposites (whether Wet & Dry and Land & Sky, or Light from Dark and Sea from Sky). Both take primeval Chaos (Isfet), and seek to impose divine Order (Ma'at), knowing it takes constant effort to maintain, and with Chaos seeking to take what is used to have (Entropy in modern terms, depicted by the Chaos Serpent in ancient cultures, such as Apophis in Egyptian Mythology, Tiamat in Babylonian, and Jormangander in Norse)
The Purging
Mankind began to dishonor the gods, leading to Ma'at being lost. Ra, in his rage, tore out his eye and set it upon humanity. This is how Sekhmet was born. She slaughtered anyone who came across her, leading to a flood of blood across the land. To preserve the righteous portion, Ra created Bastet (Goddess of Cats, which were called "Mau" in Egyptian, which is awesome), and sent her to trick Sekhmet into returning. She gave Sekhmet Beer, disguised as blood, and then Ra came to turn her into Hathor (Goddess of Joy, Dance, Motherhood, Beauty, and so on)
Likewise, in Mormon Mythology, we have the Great Flood. The sins of humanity displeased God. God decided to destroy humanity but preserved Noah & his family. One of these children (Ham) had a daughter (Zepta) who founded the Land of Egypt and placed her son on the throne
In both, humanity is left wasted by a Flood because of their sins. Righteous Humans are preserved and offer sacrifice when the disaster abates. A symbol of destruction (the Rainbow & Sekhmet), are turned into symbols of hope (the Rainbow as a promise, and Sekhmet becoming Hathor)
The Great Conflict
Picking up from Creation, Nut has 4 Children: Osiris, Isis, Nepthys, and Set
Osiris essentially civilized humanity. Humans lived as animals, and cannibalism was rampant (in every story I have read, specifically mention cannibalism. I guess the issue is it wasn't Word of Wisdom-approved cannibalism). He created cities, farming, beer, and his inventions stop after that last one...
Set desired the throne, and so had Osiris murdered and mutilated. Isis gathered 13 of the 14 pieces of his body from across Egypt (the 14th had to be remade), creating the mummification process. After a brief reunion, Isis bore Horus
Horus & Set fight several times, and Horus eventually wins the throne (don't ask how. Please)
Now, Osiris acts both as a Christ Metaphor, and an "Adam" Metaphor (Adam in the sense of the Temple Endowment)
Osiris as Christ- Christ is the King of the World. He came to a world where humanity was living out of order and taught them how to live. His brother (Lucifer), jealous of his kingship, had him tortured and killed. However, not only did he come back from the dead, it is through his resurrection that we are all able to be resurrected
Osiris as "Adam"- Abraham directly associated himself with Osiris (as I'll cover when I get to the Facsimiles). In essence, one must die. In ancient Egyptian temples (specifically kingship rituals), one must kill who they were, to become someone new, someone divine
This is in direct relation to the Temple Endowment, where one is ordained to become a king/queen, receives a name (like the Ren, an important part of the Soul in Egyptian Religion), learns about and embodies Adam, enters the Lone & Dreary World (the Land of the Dead), is brought to the Terrestrial World (his resurrection & the conception of Horus, which connects to the Law of Chastity being given here), and then crosses the Veil (becomes King of the Afterlife)
The First Pharaoh
Horus is born to a dead father and has a wicked uncle trying to kill him. He grows up a warrior, with the aid of his mother. His mother, having received the Ren of Ra, has unbelievable power, but is still unable to depose Set. After a display of his... Power, the other gods make him the Pharaoh. The descendants of Horus are the line of Pharaohs
We don't learn the name of the Pharaoh in Abraham, so I will call him Pharaoh. We only know that Pharaoh was a righteous and intelligent individual, but I believe we can piece together a more complete story. Zepta or her husband had a brother (I don't believe in a global flood, so maybe he was an important individual when she arrived, or maybe she fostered his ambition). When he died, the bother sought kingship and probably wanted to kill the pregnant Zepta
In some of the Apocrypha, Ham stole the Garments of Adam & Eve from Noah (and this is why Canan was cursed by Noah). Mayhaps, Zepta got these garments herself (there is a clear connection between the Name we receive in the Initiatory & the Name because we receive them together), and this was her power, and how she was able to crown her son. After all, Adam & Eve both had garments, but we only see where Adam's go (Canan to Nimrod to Esau to Jacob)
Misc
1.) Set works for Ra, keeping Apophis from destroying Ma'at. He is the God of Disorder, but you can't have Ma'at without a little chaos
Brigham Young said that every world has a tempter, and it is necessary for the Agency of Man (Opposition in All Things). And we can see Lucifer obeying God in the Book of Job
2.) The Field of Reeds is the Paradisiacal Afterlife. Everyone has their own plot of land to farm (which is always fruitful), they hang out with their friends & families and often throw feasts
Not only will the Earth become the Celestial Kingdom, and that it will be like it was before the Fall during the Millenium, but we often don't put those 2 together. Everyone gets their own plots to work, we are with our families, and it's not just laying back, but actually working (farming & hunting in the Field of Reeds, creating worlds without number in the Celestial Kingdom)
3.) The Heart of a person is removed by Anubis and weighed against the Feather of Ma'at. One must testify as to their righteousness, and if the heart weighs less than the feather, then one is sufficiently pure
Although not doctrine (in the sense of being in the scriptures or conference), it is a common folk belief in the Church (beginning with the Brad Wilcox talk "His Grace is Sufficient") that we will choose our Degree, based on where we feel comfortable. The Judgement is just our Testimony of who we are, and where we want to go
This post is already too long, so I will make another post for the Facsimilies

V: M.alkavian - (Vampire the M.asquerade AU) Embraced about six months ago. (Stats Doc)
Being turned takes the place of him gaining his powers in this AU.
He was a blood doll (someone who knowingly offers their blood to Kindred to feed on) for a few months before being Embraced.
Bane: Fractured Perspective: All Malkavians are some kind of insane; Avi hears insight-granting voices that he associates with his deities.
He sees everything through the lens of Ma'at and Isfet (order and chaos) and will do everything he can to uphold the former.
His patron deities shifted after he was Embraced: he more closely follows Nephthys, Khonsu, and Anubis, deities of the night, the moon/nighttime travelers, and protector of the dead.

MAAT // EGYPTIAN GODDESS OF ORDER
“She comprised the ancient Egyptian concepts of truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality, and justice. Maat was also the goddess who personified these concepts, and regulated the stars, seasons, and the actions of mortals and the deities who had brought order from chaos at the moment of creation. Her ideological opposite was Isfet (Egyptian jzft), meaning injustice, chaos, violence or to do evil.”

my thoughts on ma’at + Set/Sutekh and isfet + entropy
The goddess Ma’at and concept/ideal of ma’at is necessary in every person. Ma’at is an Ancient Egyptian concept (lowercase m) and goddess (uppercase M). Upholding ma'at in your life is about balance. You should always be a kind person, but if someone is rude to you, then you can be appropriately rude back; defending yourself is always an option. You should strive for order, but you must also let some chaos into your life. Life isn't perfect, so just do the best you can with what it throws at you. Be good to yourself and to others, but ma'at isn't always about focusing on things that make you feel lighter, ma'at is challenging and hard in many ways. To do what is right for justice and equity is often to do what is inconvenient and difficult. I bring that part up because a lot of folks tend to lean into the softer, brighter parts of ma'at, but ma'at includes things that are tough pills to swallow. A person shouldn’t do extremes, like how being overly nice makes you easy to walk all over. Living within ma’at is finding your balance while still being your best self.
The horrid Unnamed One Apep/Apophis represents and is entropy itself. It's what happens when no one cares, everyone just lets the bad things happen (apathy), and they won’t do anything good to balance it out or try to fix anything. Letting the world fall apart and burn because they’d rather not be bothered. Even Set/Sutekh, Who gets a bad name from many who misunderstand Him, also fights for Ma’at by killing the Unnamed One every night. Set/Sutekh is an active force, putting energy into a purpose. Sometimes, that's a dangerous process that causes collateral damage which needs to be dealt with, not always avoidable. You can't keep a garden without yanking some weeds and stirring up mud and bugs, you can't build a house without cutting down trees, etc. Set/Sutekh’s necessary chaos does not counter ma'at the way isfet does, in fact, He is part of ma’at. Set/Sutekh’s chaos lies within the bounds of ma’at. The chaos of Set/Sutekh is controlled, and part of the natural order, like how wildfire makes way, so new life can grow. Isfet is destructive chaos that seeks an end to all creation.
Ma'at and isfet are fundamental. They came into being at the same time, two sides of the same coin that is our reality. Neither one can be fully eradicated, as much as people try and should keep trying to always fight off isfet. It’s simply a part of existence. For Ma’at to be triumphant forever, She needs something to be victorious over. If there wasn’t a dichotomy, goodness couldn’t be recognized as such, as there wouldn’t be an evil to compare it with.

Whumptober Day 17: Nowhere Else To Go
DSMP Confronting the Past Eggpire AU Inspired by Paved with Good Intentions by Grimmijaggers, World Burn by RufiaAthena8384
TW: Gaslighting, Possession, Character Death
Summary: The Egg has officially taken over Foolish and now he has all but one person to capture, Tommy. Once he captures Tommy erases all of his memories and makes Tommy his Prince of Chaos, then the two of them can truly take over the SMP and other Servers.
Tommy stood there back against the wall, unable to breathe, as that thing came towards him. The Egg had completely taken over Foolish, ruby red eyes, inhuman shark-like fangs, blood fines wrapping and merging with his legs and arms, blood-red veins that looked similar to the vines creeping up his neck and face. This wasn’t Foolsih!
Foolish, whom Tommy began to see as a friend. Foolish who had no problem with Tommy helping out with the farms and animals. Foolish who only lightly scolds him for taking things out of the chests without asking. To be fair, Tommy has gotten better about replacing things when he does “borrow them. Foolish who had no problem in letting Tommy build his Cobblestone Towers without any jabs. Foolish, who only makes Tommy rebuild and restore the materials if he accidentally destroys something. Foolish who always smiled at him when Tommy spent too long with the Cows naming each one of them.
This wasn’t Foolish. Tommy didn’t know what the was but it wasn’t Foolish. It wasn’t someone that Tommy began to care for. It wasn’t Foolish who Tommy started to see as a friend. This was a Monster and somehow came to life from the deepest darkest pages of some horror novel. That Tommy had somehow gotten teleported into.
“Let Foolish go!” Tommy yelled. Ignoring how his voice cracked. “What do you want?”
“It’s simple really,” the Monster said with a shrug. “I was imprisoned during the God War. XD killed me and imprisoned my soul, my essense, so I couldn’t come back. But he’s a fucking idiot if you ask me.”
“Who - who are you?” Tommy asked reaching behind him for the potion bottle.
“Isfet,” the Monster answered and smirked at Tommy. “The God of Chaos, Maham, and Destruction. And you Tommy are going to be my Prince of Chaos!”
“You- you can’t! You - you wanted me gone! Why would I fucking agree to be your Prince?!” Tommy demanded. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing and shook his head. Desperately trying to keep the fear and tears from spilling out.
“Hehehehe. Because Tommy,” Isfet said walking further into the underground room where Tommy tried to escape too. “I finally understand. After seeing everyone’s memories, seeing your’s after you interacted with my prison briefly, I finally understood. I wanted you gone because I couldn’t affect you, I couldn’t control you. And for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t. But now, I finally understand.”
Isfet smiled at Tommy and walked further into the room, vines blocking the entrance and the sound of the vines stretching and digging their way on the other sides of the room. Trapping Tommy in with the Monster with nowhere to go. Prime he really hoped that Sam’s plan worked!
“Seeing Foolish’s, Philza’s, Techno’s, and Eret’s memories of the God Wars and then seeing Dream’s and everyone else’s memories of the L’Manburg Wars and of Doomsday. I finally understand. You miscalculated the jump in exile and I couldn’t have been so happy that you did! You ran to Techno because who in their right mind would mess with Techno? But then Techno revealed that he owed Dream a favor and had no problem handing you over if he cashed it in.”
Tommy flinched at that. He hated the fact that that was probably true. It was why he originally joined Tubbo. He wanted his best friend back and he just hated what he was becoming. But he also knew that deep down, Techno would just hand Tommy over to Dream without a second thought.
“Oh, Tommy, Techno can’t hurt you now. I know why you betrayed him. If Techno had no problem in handing you over to Dream without a second thought thanks to that favor, then why not betray him first? They can’t hurt you if you push them and break the friendship first, right?” Isfet said stepping closer to Tommy.
“Oh, Tommy,” Isfet said gently taking Tommy’s face into his hand. “I finally understand.” It smiled down at Tommy, with a possessive smile. “No one's going to hurt you ever again. I finally get it. Why I could never affect you, it was so simple, and yet I overlooked it.” Isfet chuckled a bit and softly spoke. “It’s because you're me.”
Tommy’s world came to a screeching halt. What the fuck?! Tommy couldn’t be affected because he’s this thing?! No! No, no, no, no, no,! That can’t be true! The Monster had some kind of look in his eyes when it looked at Tommy, and Tommy didn’t know what it could be. Fondness? But that didn’t make sense!
“No! You- you hurt me! You wanted me dead!” Tommy snapped and shoved the Monster’s hand away from him, backing up as much as he could. Trying to create as much distance as possible. Tommy slowly reached for the potion bottle that was in his pocket.
“I did,” Isfet said giving a small nod of agreement. “But that was before. Before I took over Foolish and saw his memories. Saw, Foolish’s, Philza’s, and Techno’s memories of the God War. They were the ones fighting me, Techno tried to kill me but he allowed XD to give the final blow. Stabbed me in the back literally and figuratively.” Isfet snarled at that. Oh, he can’t wait to fully come back alive and kill XD!
“But you see Tommy all of us Gods can’t die, not really. Our souls, our essense still linger, and we can take over others. Some by fully possessing them but if we truly want to be reborn again, we must take over our “Human” counterparts. Ever God has one. Dream is XD’s human counterpart. Sapnap is PVP’s, the God of Blood, War, and Insanity, human counterpart. Techno was the Champion for PVP. George is HD’s, the God of Memory and Dreams, human counterpart. Puffy is Prime’s human counterpart. And you, Tommy, you’re my human counterpart. It all makes sense, everything you went through, why I can’t affect you, why when I’m looking at you it’s like looking in a mirror of my younger self.”
Isfet smiles at Tommy. Finally, he can be reborn and have his little Prince with him as they spread the Chaos and Carnage on this Server. The other Gods be damned!
“Oh don’t worry Tommy. You’ll only be trapped in the vines for a short amount of time when all of your memories are completely gone. You’ll be my Prince! We’ll rule this and any other server dares to defy us!”
“No! No, Tubbo! Ranboo! They didn’t do anything! Foolish! Puffy! They’re - they’re innocent. Puffy was going to help me!” Tommy sputtered.
“No, they’re not. Foolish was in the God War and sided with XD and HD. He watched as I was murdered! Puffy? Oh, you poor naive child! She led her crew and nearly killed them all! Why do you think she “retired” the Pirate Life? And Tubbo? He sided with Schlatt, didn’t he? Escorted you out of the Country and the Home you helped build and gave up your disks for. He exiled you! Granted you did need to be punished but there were always other ways to go about it! Tubbo ran L’Manburg, you might as well say that Dream was the real President and not Tubbo! Ranboo stopped visiting you! He will never stand up for himself! Tubbo looked you in the eyes and he never would have protested!”
That was all that it took for Tommy. He turned and ran to the corner of the room, quickly down the potion that was in his pocket. He couldn’t hear another word of this. He couldn’t stand to hear any more lies! But as Tommy reached out and put his hands on the lever, he couldn’t help but look back at Isfet, at the possessed Foolish. Was he telling the truth? Did Ranboo actually stop visiting him because they decided that they had enough of Tommy? Ghostbur left and never came back. Techno only came and laughed at him. Phil never once attempted to visit. Tubbo only finally came after the disaster of the failed execution. All of that and he never visited or tried to go against Dream?
Tommy now noticed that his hands were shaking, but couldn’t tell if it was because of fear, adrenaline, or something else. Was what this Monster said true?
“Oh, Tommy, you’re not going anywhere. The vines have this entire place surrounded. Even if you have an escape plan, where do you think you're going to go? I’ll trap you the minute you leave this place. It’s finally time my son!” Isfet said stretching out his hand and the vines began to come in and launch at Tommy.
Tommy pulled the lever and everything happened all at once. The doors slammed shut cutting the vines off. The room began to flood with Holy Water from the Church of Prime. An ear-piercing painful screech came from Isfet. Smoke was coming from him as he screamed from the burning water. Trying hard to get out but it was no use. The door was made of solid netherite and they were a room that was made out of obsidian.
Isfet looked at time, and he knew what he had to do! The only way for him to survive was if he possessed Tommy! His human counterpart! It was the only way he could survive and be able to come back, without using so much energy to manipulate the weak-minded fools! The water was about waist high and Isfet in his state of depression lunged at Tommy.
“I will come back!” Isfet screamed.
But he couldn’t reach Tommy. He looked down his other hand gripping his hand and in the back of his mind he felt it. Foolish was breaking away, and back control of his body.
“No!” Foolish called out. “I won’t let you hurt him!”
“If I die so will you!” Isfet tried. “If I take control of Tommy then both can live!”
“No! I won’t let you hurt him! I won’t let you hurt my friend!” Foolish said.
The eyes of the possessed Foolish went from blood red to emerald green, his skin was taking on the golden totem skin tone again. The room was nearly filled to the brim with the Holy Water. Tommy drank the Potion of Water Breathing, so he knew he be fine, this was Sam’s contraption after all.
“Foolish?” Tommy whispered. He couldn’t tell what was his tears and what was the water.
“I’m sorry Tommy,” Foolish said. “Don’t worry, I’ll still have another life.”
Isfet was killed by drowning in holy water.

Prequel draft
So this is to explain what exactly happened in my fic that forced Khonshu to resort to "damnatio memoriae" on himself.
This is also a prequel to my fic, before Khonshu isekai-ed himself.
This takes place sometime during the Doctor Strange film Multivers of Madness, with the Darkhold, specifically, the manifestation of the collective "evil" within the Darkhold.
Before that, they were fighting a corrupted Wanda. But in this timeline, Wanda still didn't snap out of the Darkhold's influence and was so corrupted that she was completely taken over by the Spirit of the Darkhold itself. She is less of "Wanda Maximoff" and the "Scarlet Witch" and more of the "Collective Power of the Darkhold personified".
She was dangerous but not in the whole "She can defeat the gods". It's more like, Wanda is releasing so much "Isfet" or Chaos energy as the vessel of the Darkhold, that it is starting a chain reaction and causing other Chaos-based creatures of mythology to stir wildly, like Apep the Primordial Chaos Snake. A Chaos being even greater than Wanda, because while Wanda can manipulate Chaos energy and still retain her humanity, Apep is the full destructive force of Chaos itself given form and is even older than the Darkhold. Other gods in other pantheons are also alarmed by the high influx of Chaos energy as their own respective Chaos counterparts and other demons are getting way more active than usual.
But they are, as usual, very late in their actions. Khonshu was one of the first Deities to foresee the dangers of a fully corrupted Wanda who couldn't snap out of it. He ordered Marc to go to Tibet and assist Doctor Strange and co. They also met with America Chavez and Wong.
They help defend Kamir Taj for a while. In the meantime, Wong is trying to find the Book of Vishanti, the opposite of the Darkhold to find a way to defeat Wanda. Strange is also busy trying to keep Wanda from getting America.
Khonshu though, is very familiar with Chaos magic after spending many millennia fighting Apep, the primordial force of Chaos itself in the Egyptian Pantheon. So, he is able to utilize his experience to slowdown Wanda greatly.
But there is problem since while Khonshu did fight Apep to protect his father at a near daily basis, he never fights alone. He always fights with a team of other gods, like Isis, Set, Horus and other gods. So, he is still at a huge disadvantage and outnumbered that super Darkhole-powered Wanda can overpowering him. Even when other god's and magic-related creatures join in the fight, including Bast who decided to break Osiris' decree and fight alongside her brother. It's pretty much very late to the partly.
Wong did find a spell to in the Book of Vishanti to stop Wanda. But the problem is that Wanda's body itself is making the Darkhold stronger as it's a mix of Wanda's natural power from the Infinity Stone and the Darkhold mystical energy.
Basically, the infinity stone energy within Wanda's body is preventing the Book of Vishanti's spell from fully taking effect because it's not from the Darkhold. It's from space.
This is where Khonshu comes it since he managed to figure out a way to weaken Wanda, by exorcising the Darkhold itself from her body. Separating Wanda from the Darkhold.
His legend is him exorcising a demon from a princess, so he can do the same with Wanda.
But it will weaken him too much from the effort, and the Darkhold will now just be a full-on separate spirit fully independent from Wanda, and will look for a new host.
And the Darkhold will go to the closest available living being, which is Khonshu's Avatar. Marc Spector.
Khonshu can't risk that, but he also needs to stop Wanda. So, he made some changes to his plan, he asks that Bast get Marc Spector and Wanda's unconscious body as far away from the battlefield once the exorcism is done. Wanda is still alive but weak from the whole thing. Khonshu, though will have to face the now free Manifestation of the Darkhold alone.
Khonshu also got Bast and other sorcerers to create a powerful barrier around them. Which Khonshu, inside with the Darkhold then uses his timey wimey moon powers to literally slow-down time to a near complete halt. Warping the time and space inside the barrier to create a dimensional pocket prison that is intended to freeze the Darkhold as much as he can with the help of the other sorceres and gods present. All the same time, Wong is trying to understand the Book of Vishanti and find the right spell for him to use.
The barrier's main purpose isn't to hold the Darkhold though. It's not strong enough to do it in the first place, it is to keep Khonsu's timey wimey thing contained in one point and keep it from spreading out.
But Khonshu is already weak from the exorcism effort and can't keep this up as the Darkhold starts to break through Khonshu's dimensional time-space warp and the barrier. Khonshu anticipated this too and calculated that it is not enough for Wong and Strange to get the Book of Vishanti ready.
So, he did one last trick, which is the suicidal Damnatio Memoriae spell. It is designed to wipe anything and anyone from existence and remove it from the records of that Universe itself.
The issue is that it will never work on the Darkhold.
The Darkhold is pure evil manifested, it is too abstract and conceptual to be erased. And they can't fully erase the concept of evil without destroying the concept of Good entirely. And with it, the entire world, humanity itself and every living creature. The cosmos will collapse in itself when the concept of "evil" is gone and destroy itself to fix the massive imbalance in the universe.
It's practically useless in defeating the Darkhold, but what Khonshu only needs is to weaken greatly again since a huge part of it is blinked out of existence. It will take hours before it regains its strength again, but it is more than enough for Wong and Strange. As they only need a few minutes they need to complete the spell from the Book of Vishanti.
Outside, Marc was knocked-out as he is trying very hard to get to the barrier. Practically going ballistic and angry at Khonshu for leaving him in the middle of a battle.
Khonshu also got Bast to make promise and look after his Avatar in his inevitable absence. Bast knows that Khonshu won't make it and is pissed that he is resorting to using a dangerous spell that even Thoth refused to touch after creating it in the first place. But she also knows that Khonshu's efforts are needed to help Strange, so she took Marc under her wing at her brother's request.

The Philosophy of Kemetic Orthodoxy
Kemetic Orthodoxy is a modern religious movement that revives the ancient Egyptian religious practices, also known as Kemetism. Rooted in the religious traditions of ancient Egypt, Kemetic Orthodoxy emphasizes the worship of the Egyptian gods, a deep connection with ancestors, and the pursuit of Ma’at, the concept of balance, truth, and cosmic order.
Key Principles of Kemetic Orthodoxy
Ma’at (Cosmic Order, Truth, and Balance):
The central philosophical concept in Kemetic Orthodoxy is Ma’at, which represents the natural order of the universe, encompassing justice, harmony, balance, truth, and morality.
Followers strive to live in accordance with Ma’at by fostering balance in their relationships, communities, and with nature. It also involves resisting Isfet, or chaos, which is the opposite of Ma’at.
Polytheism and the Egyptian Gods:
Kemetic Orthodoxy recognizes the pantheon of ancient Egyptian deities, such as Ra, Isis, Osiris, Hathor, Anubis, and others. These gods represent various aspects of the cosmos and human life, and each deity has a specific role and domain.
Worship involves rituals, offerings, prayers, and meditation to honor the gods and cultivate a relationship with them. Temples and priests historically played a major role, but in modern practice, rituals may be conducted individually or in community.
Divine Kingship:
Ancient Egypt viewed the Pharaoh as both a political and spiritual leader, a living incarnation of the god Horus on Earth, and an intermediary between the gods and humanity. While there is no modern equivalent to the Pharaoh in Kemetic Orthodoxy, the idea of divine leadership and service to the community is still respected.
Modern adherents honor leaders who preserve the teachings of the gods and maintain the connection between the divine and earthly realms.
Ancestor Veneration:
A strong emphasis is placed on ancestor worship, where practitioners pay homage to deceased relatives and historical figures. Ancestors are believed to offer guidance, protection, and support in the spiritual journey.
Ancestor veneration ties into the broader concept of heka (magic), which involves the use of spiritual power and knowledge to invoke the presence of the gods or ancestors for assistance.
Heka (Magic or Divine Speech):
Heka is the ancient Egyptian concept of magic or divine speech, through which the spoken word is believed to have the power to influence the world and align the practitioner with Ma’at.
This practice includes the recitation of hymns, prayers, and sacred texts, which are considered powerful tools to maintain order and harmony in the world.
Netjer (Divine Force):
The word Netjer represents the concept of divinity in Kemetic Orthodoxy. It can refer to both the universal divine force and individual deities within the pantheon.
Netjer is seen as manifesting in various gods and goddesses, who represent different aspects of creation, life, and death, and are integral to maintaining the balance of Ma’at.
Personal Piety and Community Worship:
Kemetic Orthodoxy emphasizes personal piety as well as participation in communal religious activities. Personal piety includes maintaining shrines, offering daily prayers, and engaging in meditation to connect with the gods and ancestors.
The community aspect is reflected in festivals and rituals that celebrate significant dates in the Egyptian calendar, such as the Opet Festival, honoring deities like Amun, and the Wep Ronpet (Egyptian New Year), marking the rebirth of the world.
The Concept of the Ka and Ba (Soul Components):
The ancient Egyptians believed in a multi-faceted soul, including the Ka (spiritual essence or vital energy) and Ba (personality or spirit). The Ka represents a person's life force, while the Ba is the unique spiritual essence that survives after death.
Practitioners of Kemetic Orthodoxy work to maintain the health and balance of these aspects of the soul in life and the afterlife.
Ethical and Spiritual Development:
Living according to the values of Ma’at means cultivating virtues such as justice, truthfulness, respect, humility, and generosity. Spiritual development is seen as a journey toward greater harmony with the cosmic order and deeper connection with the gods and ancestors.
Daily life is imbued with spiritual meaning, and each action is a reflection of one's commitment to maintaining Ma’at in the world.
Kemetic Orthodoxy offers a contemporary practice rooted in the ancient Egyptian worldview, where the divine, the natural world, and human life are interconnected through the principle of Ma’at. By honoring the gods, ancestors, and cosmic order, followers of Kemetic Orthodoxy strive to live balanced, just, and spiritually meaningful lives, with a strong sense of responsibility to maintain harmony and resist chaos.

Right after, anubis quit the dark army. Isfet replaced anubis as exaton's hunter. Isfet comes with a plan to use the scepter of the duat to make an army of spirits to destroy the G.A. and then, isfet reveals that the scepter that anubis retrieved for exaton was a replica that was not as powerful as the original that tribe had made just in case that if the pharaoh of earth needed more help. And the original scepter belongs to the Guardian of death and only the scepter alone could recognize and will reveal who the guardian is. Somehow, Isfet came across the original scepter of duat and kept it just in case. (Side note in egyxos Universe the guardian of death is not known by name, so no one knows who the guardian of death is.) Fast-forward exaton summoned an army of spirits and they are casing chaos during the battle the G.A were struggling to fight. right when Exaton was about to hit kefer, the sky turned dark. like it all of sudden turned in to night with only stars and time just seemed to stop and however everyone see and speak but can't do eventhing else because their frozen. A normal jet black jackal that looked like one of the statues that are seen in an Egyptian museum with golden eyes just walks up to the battlefield. Everyone could tell it, anubi, after he shifted back to his natural form. However, anubi looked different since he was last seem egyxos. The colors of his armor had changed, and the green seemed to have gotten lighter. His fur had changed from looking blueish black to a deep jet black. His demeanor seemed to have changed, going from bad-tempered and impulsive to measured, stoic, slow to angry, quite a little stern, and had gotten this powerful presence so much so it seemed to seemed frightening the army of spirits.
The dark army wonders what is Anubi doing. Which anubi responds by chuckling half heartily, then crosses his arms looking towards Exaton, "I'm assuming you haven't told them?" Anubi said in almost brooding voice.
"Rest assured, my lord," Anubi says in a sarcastic tone as a way of saying he doesn't see exaton as his leader anymore. Then, all of a sudden, the scepter flew out of exaton's hand and into anubi's. The minute anubi grabbed the scepter, it flashed, blinding golden light. The scepter had changed from it original blue and green form to a new and black and gold form as marks that lools like kefer birth marks appear on anubi's shoulders. anubi smiles like he is in the presence of an old friend.
"I only returned to retrieve what is mine."
Everyone is shocked to see this. One of the mummies attempted to talk to anubi only for anubi to cut the mummy off and said that it was not his name, then reveals that his real name is Anubis.
"You the guardian of death?!" Exaton says in shock.
Anubis only glared at exaton and simply spoke one word, "surprise."
Exaton tried to speak. However, before any words could be spoken, anubis golden eyes flashed, and for some reason, his mouth wouldn't open like it was clamped shut.
"Be grateful that this is the only thing I will do to you after what you did to my brother, the opener of ways." Once again, the look of shock appears on everyone faces.
"What do you all honestly believe after seeing my brother's unique power of opening portals that him and the opener of ways were separate beings."
After that, anubis sent the army of spirits back to the duat and left. As the sky turned back to its blue color and time was unfrozen and the hold of on exaton's mouth was off. The dark army retreated, and the Golden Army was shocked and left with questions.

I feel like I've been asked if the Scarlet witch was my inspiration , and I say , it genuinely didn't cross my mind untill I went looking for aesthetics for the magic itself. why?
the red color, while synonymous with Saint, is the the color of Set. it's the color of chaos, but it's HIS chaos. Apophis is depicted white and black in most colored iterations, you know. the serpent of literal chaos in opposition to Ra.
Set hasn't always been the avatar of chaos, not the way it's portrayed in traditional media or even after the upper and lower kingdom's went to war. yeah, he was chaotic. that's something he's always been depicted as. he was the one that infiltrated the ranks of the enemy and stirred—well, chaos. however, he's always been the rival to the usually more composed Horus the Elder. so while he's always been CHAOTIC, his storm magic wasn't necessarily classified under Isfet magic until the unification of Egypt. he was originally a foreign god at his origina, depicting foreigners coming into the country and disrupting their daily lives. supose he was always supposed to be enemy number one.
the color red used to be synonymous with strength of the pharaoh and the protection of Saint. in contrast to red, gold, the metal and the color, was not only the lifeblood of the gods—it was the export of his place of worship, his cartouches used to be golden before Horus the Younger was mad into the golden falcon. hence why I talk about Red and Gold. why the blog is red and yellow-ish. it's also very muted shades of both to represent rotted blood and bile from the dead.
before he was an avatar of destruction and I decided I'd branch out from just storm magic being a BRANCH of Isfet magic, that it makes very little sense for that to the scope of it. everyone always thinks of storms as lightning and rain, even I do that sometimes, but in reality, his storms are more winds and sand. he's more likely to rip sand grain like a kidney stone through your dick than to really shoot you with lightning. like, LMFAO.
I try to separate from the very obvious parallels here between the two, but there's some very heavy imagery they share so it's inevitable, I suppose.
#✟ ⸻ 𝕾𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖙 ⟢ ❨ 𝗢 𝗢 𝗖 ❩.#i say this because it makes me nervous and makes me feel like i need to explain myself bc shes a canon character in her own sphere#and yeah Set is absolutely his own sphere of yadda yadda saint is an oc#i just worry yk#i apologize if this isnt comprehensive bakuna is a lil lit 😂

The Dark One

"O Dark One who comest forth from the darkness: not have I reviled." -Pert em Heru, Declaration of the 42 Gods
In this universe, Zorku was the Kul Elna god of darkness, death, time, memory and destruction. Which makes it all the more ironic since the village was destroyed. Worshipped in secret, revered by more and more as time went on and lives became harder to live.
Proper offerings: Blood, red or raw meat, frankincense, red wine, Egyptian beer, gold.
Titles: The Dark One, Father of Fiends, Maker of the Dark World
-- in the Japanese original anime, Zorku often has the title of 'daizosojin' before his name meaning 'the first ancestor god.' Daizosojin Zorku. So clearly he's ancient. 'Yami no Bakura' uses this word more often, but so does Atemu.
Creation: Many tens of thousands of years ago. Created from the darkness of the hearts of not only men, but the other gods as well. So compared to them, he's a younger god, hence the massive amounts of hubris. He also made the Spellbook at some point.
Roles: One of the 42 gods who judged the heart during the Weighing of the Heart ceremony. There's been quite a few times he's gone problematic for the other gods, much like Sutekh (Set), though. He can feed off of negative energies, especially of those who give in to their anger and resentment.
The gods were not necessarily viewed under the lens of good or evil, but rather ma'at and isfet (chaos). Likewise for Zorku.
Ancient Appearance: Shape-shifting was normal for him. He could appear as the demon with the draconic phallus, a dragon-like form (think black dragons of DnD), or a human-like appearance with dark purple hair and the usual horns dressed in the clothing of the gods. Before imprisonment in the Items especially, he'd take whatever form he saw fit to get what he wanted from humans.
Modern Appearance: He can have horns. Two long and straight at the top of his head, two curved forward at the sides of his head. In times when he desires to, can also have dark wings and a long, draconic tail. Zorku can hide away these things at will and often just looks like he did as Yami no Bakura. This form WAS NOT a choice, he was sent back this way. He will still also answer to 'Bakura,' though, or to Zork. His hair is longer than Ryo's, extending down to his tail bone. Zorku's eyes are dark red. He possesses sharp canines and longer, dark nails. The fiend wears black and darker colors, and has his ears guaged or pierced.
Errata:
1: Was imprisoned in the Duat after losing to Atemu in the Ultimate RPG. This universe takes place six years later. —-The Duat isn’t just the underworld, it’s where the gods lived. As such, Zorku will at times go there or to the realm he created of the shadows. Six years after he was imprisoned, he was released by Ryo and Malik. Since Ryo was the one who offered lifeblood, this is the way 'Bakura' looks.
2: He doesn’t have all of his powers as of yet. Or they are simply restricted. He is not an all-powerful god like he used to be since he's serving punishment for a time thanks to the other gods. However, he can still: -Steal souls, seal souls away, manipulate shadows, summon shadow creatures [his minions], manipulate objects.
3: There's a holiday of his during the darkest night of the year where he attains full power...for that evening only. He's still capped thanks to the gods so he can't annihilate the world right off.
4: The Items are still buried in this timeline. For now. However, if another character that interacts with him still has one, of course he's going to find it of interest. So be warned.
5: In this timeline, he is one of the 42 gods. “O Dark One who comest forth from the Darkness: Not have I reviled.” The 42 gods were in the Hall of Two Truths, and the Negative Confessions were meant to keep the gods from punishing the deceased for a specific sin. Zorku will find people who revile, so to speak, as a main target. He was originally summoned into the world by someone who reviled (Aknaden), and attached himself to another who also reviled as the official First Host (Thief King Bakura).
Who He is: (tldr)
I: The Spirit of the Ring in essence and body, but Zorku stripped of his most powerful assets. He is stuck in a humanesque form with only his basest abilities, and he is NOT happy about it. So he can still pursue another universe and their Items in hopes of gaining all of it back. But he isn’t really obsessed about doing it like he was the first time. Gods and such. Divine punishment.
II: He is still a smart ass. Sarcastic, sadistic and cruel when he wants to be.
III: Still has the figurines and he uses them and collects the souls in them. He found the figurines quite useful in his time stuck in a human vessel.
Relationships:
I: Orientation in relationships is quite different. In the Ancient Egyptian Ennead, most of the deities were formed based on concepts such as light, darkness, air, etc. Zorku, being of the darkness variety [Like the god Kuk and his female concept Kauket], he is also androgynous. Able to be either gender depending on what he wants to achieve. However, Zorku associates more with the male side.
II: Will not bend to even a lover’s whim if he doesn’t want to. He’s quite the hard ass. No pun intended. Sometimes even the ‘human’ act of mating to him seems rather dull. However, he will with the right person and can be known to use most mortals as simply that- pawns for their energy, no romance attached.
