its very somber, yet paints such a realistic picture of what life is like. because yes, giving us is sometimes strong to do. sometimes running is the brave thing if it benefits you - and walking out of something can lead you to something more potent, strong, sacred. it doesn't necessarily ever mean that its a bad thing. it just means that you're moving onto another chapter of your life by leaving! by going, by moving forward with yourself. and that's one of the most adherent things you can do in life.

'it's time to go' doesn't get enough attention and love as a song that states nothing but facts

yes, staying is important but only with people who are genuine, real, honest and loving, someone who's important and adds to your life instead of taking away from it, someone who doesn't pull you down. you can feel when a person is right for you and yes we're people we fuck up but its important to know when to stay and fix things and when to leave even if nothing particularly catastrophic hasn't happened (yet).

the same goes with environments and everything that you find yourself in everyday

its okay to leave and to go and choose a different path and do something you said you never would if it serves you and feels right. you're a free human being and you have the right to go wherever you feel loved supported and at your best, you're under no obligation to stay.

not to mention that sometimes you leave good things behind simply because they've ran their course and its time to go to explore and find even better things

your past, the good and bad will always stay with you cause it was your reality at some point in time, and you can always keep it close to your heart but its okay to need an new bigger place where you can grow and flourish and evolve as a being.
