Jasper's lungs burned with each gasp of water her lungs took in, Sure she didnt need to breath, thus she could be just fine under water, but her body still demanded its basic human like needs. Why was she breathing? she could just hold it, but perhaps her anticipation and rush of adrenaline as she gained liberty from her prisoner Lapis that she fell back to primitive bodily actions. 

Her head splashed out from the salty waved as she finally got the air she desired so much for, her lungs happily took it in without a burn like the salty water had done, it was refreshing, but she was still in the see non the less. her eyes focused off to the distance where she spotted an Island. It looked uninhabited to her relief. She didn't want to deal with any humans, not after being trapped for so long. Her outstretched her large hand and drug her body through the waves. 

The second the tip of her boot dug into the sand, the large animal like gem trashed at the water, and ran through it without a care of the natural resistance it gave. She was weak, so she tripped a bit, as she ran. She didn’t know why she was stumbling so, so she just growled and continued to stomp to the water till she got to the sand. She coughed a bit more, spitting up some water and wiping wet hear from her face. She looked around, all was normal and fine, except one detail that jasper failed to see was the crack in her gem. Where it was placed proved to be impossible for her to notice. 

She grabbed her hair and rung it out as she shook and swatted away and wetness that was left on her bulky body. “Alright...” She growled taking in her surroundings. everything was at a natural state, caves covered in geodes and plants and flowers of all colors... how archaic.

as she scanned the caves of purple and blue, a bright green caught her eye. “no way...” She felt her heart skip. “ Peridot?!” she shouted out. even a brutal gem like herself didn't like complete solitude. And besides brains where always good when in a situation like this. Jasper rushed up the shore and ripped past large leaves to reach her former co worker.
