“Okay, so once again,” Chim says. “She’s four. She doesn’t understand that her uncle is a lovesick idiot. She thinks new boyfriend equals Buck ditching her.”
Eddie’s jaw drops. “Wow.”
“You’re a parent. Why are you so surprised?” Chim asks.
Well, for one, he didn’t realize this was such a sensitive subject for Jee-Yun. He didn’t realize Buck was a scarce resource. Also, it’s two nights.
“You have to tell her it’s not my fault,” Eddie pleads. “Come on. You’re her dad.”

“Right,” Bobby nods, frowning. “Yeah, you’re… What are you doing?”
Buck has moved his phone in his hands, so he can start typing. The light points down to their shoes.
“Telling everyone!” Buck announces. Like this is at all what Bobby would want to hear. “Athena will be-”
“NO!” Bobby lunges forward to smack the phone out of Buck’s hands. “You can’t!”
Buck freezes. He looks at Bobby, eyes bugged out with terror. Bobby realizes how quickly he’s moved.

When it’s finally time to get Penny from school, Eddie is stunned by the remarkable change in demeanor she has compared to this morning.
“Hi, Eddie!” She beams when he meets her out front of the kindergarten play yard. She’s got a big, happy grin on her face and a sticker of an apple with a smiley face pressed to her cheek.
“Hi, Penny,” he says, relieved. “How was school?”
“Good!” She chirps, passing him her backpack like this is an old routine. Eddie takes it dutifully. “We got stickers.”
“I can see that,” he says. “That’s fun.”
“Mhm,” she agrees. “Is Daddy almost home?”
“Uh, still a few more hours,” Eddie admits.

Suddenly, Buck’s brain floods with images of them in there. Hen is great to talk through hard problems with. But it usually involves tequila, as Buck knows from personal experience. So that’s what they’re in there doing, right? Drinking tequila. Lamenting Eddie’s terrible day. Cursing Buck. And you know what? He can’t even blame them.
He can’t even blame them. He deserves every bit of it. He’d do the same, if the tables were turned.
Screw it.
Buck leaves. He reverses out of the driveway and heads straight home.

Adriana’s eyes narrow. “Well, I… I mean, Eddie. You’re going on a date with a man. That’s at the very least not straight.”
Oh, Eddie sees. She doesn’t understand. Got it.
“Exactly, Adriana, that’s my problem,” Eddie explains. “I am straight, but I agreed to this date.”
Adriana’s mouth hands open for a moment. She looks like a fish.
“You agreed to go on a date with a man, but you’re straight.”
“Yes,” Eddie says. She’s catching up.
---
15 for ☠️
---
“Hey, man,” Buck says. “Can, uh, can we talk?”
Be man, be mad, be mad, Chim reminds himself. He is mad.
“You gonna drop it if I say no?” Chim asks.
Buck’s eyes flicker back and forth, torn.
“If that’s what you want, I will respect your wishes,” he eventually says. Oh, right call. But they both know he’s lying.
“Really?” Chim asks.
“I’ll try,” Buck sighs. “But probably not.”
Chim rolls his eyes.

Introduction
Heya it’s mith! This is a nickname from my original name. I am Tamil and I’m from the state of Tamilnadu from south India :)
This is a study or/blog about my life as a CBSE student where I’ll post about motivation, any interesting topics and just tips that I found useful. I am planning on posting my 11th chemistry notes by the end of this year, once I’ve finished typing them up as I’ve hand written them! So you will see resources being posted!!
I am a high-school student, 17 years old ( year 12/ 12th grade )studying in the science stream. My subjects include —
Physics.
Chemistry.
Mathematics.
Computer Science (python)
English
Why a studyblr?
I opened this studyblr in order to stay productive and help others to do so too if I can. Also through this account I would like to share bits of my student life and motivate other students to do what a student should do like - study and enjoy life. I will post a lot about how to get motivation and how I study certain subjects and these posts will update as I go along!
Any competitive exams?
I am doing four exams ( sobs) which are for design and architecture respectively. These are NATA, JEE paper 2 ( this includes, maths, drawing and aptitude , not physics chemistry and maths ) , UCEED ( design) and NIFT ( design)
Future career?
I am hoping to study design or architecture and maybe get a literature or business degree as a side goal.
Any goals for 2025?
I wanna learn foreign languages such as Italian since it’s my current obsession. I’ve already learnt a bit of French so I’m planning on learning all of the Romance languages, so you will see me post about language learning too!!
More about me:
I was born in England and I’ve lived in India and England on and off, every few years I’d shift to England and then come back to India. I did my boards (10th) in the uk in the form of GCSEs. GCSEs are usually done in 10th and 11th so I’m repeating a year again in India so it’s easier for me for my 12th boards!

so I am working - dragging my feet - through natla (1 episode left) and I thought I would share some of my thoughts and commentary:
Iroh: You must use your tact, your empathy-
Season 1 Zuko: [looks back at him]
*
Canon s1 ep3 Zuko: You... are working with Zhao. Willingly.
Show s1 ep3 Zuko: Yes? What's the problem? He is annoying but that's mostly it.
Canon!Zuko: UNCLE! DID YOU PUT SPIRIT MUSHROOMS IN MY TEA AGAIN?! I'M HAVING LUCID NIGHTMARES!!
Other random thoughts:
[Suki proceeds to defy gravity with her fan to impress Sokka]
Me, exasperation incarnate: Suki, I didn't know you were an airbender!
and
[Previous incarnation avatar bashing sesh]
Me: [...] But I love Zuko-Iroh interactions
[The one scene. Zuko is shouting how they can't just ask around. Iroh is offering advice until he gets distracted by street food.]
Me: The fact Zuko stood there for a few seconds trying to figure what this proverb means before he realizes its very much not a proverb - cackling
Second-hand long-suffering friend, who is at the end of her wits after hearing me talk about the butchering of Kyoshi's character for 20 minutes: XDDDD He legit thought rice had sth to do with it XD
there is more but it's more of
Oh no, he is hot.
And oh no he is also hot
Why is every extremist hot?!
Bumi is very bitter. Very.... Jaded.
Aang has no situational awareness: He did not just ask Zhao (Zuko too) to let him go so he can go save other enemies of the Fire Nation. He didn't.
Also. Why the firebender this, firebender that. Are the Fire Nation non-benders saints or something??
Mai casually says Ozai sucks for not thinking Azula is perfect <- Me: I mean she is absolutely right but she would not say that.
Azula's whole. Thing. I felt the narrative was trying very desperately to make her seem competent and clever but the fact that Iroh's thoughts insinuated the frontal attack on the Northern Water Tribe was her idea left me in stitches
But yeah. They nerfed Azula
Zuko - feral, bloodthirsty, a loser. <- Me: Oh my god they captured his essence! Minus the honor thing!
ZUKO NOT SAYING HONOR
THE TRAVESTY OF SOKKA NOT WEARING A DRESS
I WANT SOKKA IN KYOSHI WARRIOR UNIFORM
Katara not having any emotions ::: Aang walks all over her saying he can't support her in her fight against the patriarchy that is actually just Pakku and Yugoda or whatever was happening in the 7th episode: Katara doesn't blow up at him. Sokka calling her a little girl and never actually apologizing about the whole Jet accusation especially when he did the same with the Mechanist. : Katara doesn't blow up at him
Me: sounds fake but okay
At this point when Toph comes along Katara will let her not be a part of the Team (no Gaang just Team Avatar) and not contribute and not bond and NO FOUND FAMILY TROPE
Aang teaching Katara waterbending, Aang not goofing off, No Kataraang (not even a smidge) - something in me shriveled up and died.
Why is Azula soft??????
And why is Ty Lee assertive and forthcoming??? Just?? Why????
And finally, my second favorite:
Azula, trying very hard not to mention Zuko's ludicrous tenacity: Commander Zhao is a great asset... Maybe he needs better resources to showcase his true potential.
Zhao who barely passed his exams according to Jee the gossip queen: Yes, I do need the best resources. Give me all the 'sources.

The Rise of Home Tutors in Noida: Personalized Learning for Academic Success
Tumblr media
In Noida’s competitive academic landscape, where students juggle rigorous school curricula, extracurricular activities, and exam pressures, home tutors have become a game-changer. Unlike traditional classroom settings, home tuition offers one-on-one attention, tailored teaching methods, and flexible scheduling—making it the preferred choice for parents and students alike .
Why Choose Home Tutors in Noida?
Home tutors provide a customized learning experience, adapting to a student’s pace, strengths, and weaknesses. Whether it’s mastering complex math concepts, improving language skills, or preparing for board exams like CBSE or ICSE, tutors design lessons that target individual needs . For instance, visual learners benefit from diagrams and interactive tools, while others may need step-by-step problem-solving techniques .
Another advantage is convenience. With hectic schedules, commuting to coaching centers can be time-consuming. Home tuition eliminates travel stress, allowing students to learn in a comfortable, familiar environment—free from distractions and peer pressure. Parents also appreciate the ability to monitor progress closely and communicate directly with tutors about their child’s development.
Finding the Right Tutor
Noida boasts a pool of highly qualified tutors, but selecting the right one requires careful consideration. Reputable platforms like Perfect Tutor and Find My Tuition vet tutors based on qualifications, teaching experience, and student reviews. Many offer free demo sessions, letting parents assess compatibility before committing.
From primary school foundations to competitive exam prep (JEE, NEET), Noida’s home tutors cover all subjects—Math, Science, Languages, and more. Their impact goes beyond grades; they build confidence, critical thinking, and effective study habits that last a lifetime .
The Future of Home Tutoring
With the integration of online tools (live classes, digital resources), home tuition in Noida is evolving. Platforms like Vedantu and BYJU’S blend personalized attention with tech-driven learning, making education accessible and engaging .
For parents seeking academic excellence and holistic growth for their children, home tutors in Noida offer the perfect solution—quality education, tailored to fit.

Where did the idea for "dare to be one of us, girl" originate? How did you decide on everyone's roles in the con?
ooh, slightly deep dive! thank you ❤️ well, short answer is, it started here. i didn't think i had more than that post in me because i'm more of a fluff reader than writer, but life proved me wrong!
long answer: there was a wave of extremely charming forcing bt back together fics which i loved so much and it was really inspiring! additionally i have a big extended family that hangs out during major holidays, most of whom i'm not related to by blood, and it's not dissimilar to how firefam gathers with all of their respective people during special occasions like christmas, may's graduation, and buck's welcome back (rip). so i have ideas about dynamics between characters who've never/rarely directly interacted onscreen. when i think of parent trap shenanigans, my mind automatically thinks kids, who have more time on their hands and a greater propensity for whimsy.
of the kids in this show, chris would have to kickstart it. he's the one who loves buck. he even liked tommy! i was tickled by the idea of chris being the mastermind, getting all these pieces in place remotely. we already know he's smart as hell and kinda shameless.
denny had to be the point person. he's the only one of the boys still in la (bc this was last december and we had no idea where tf harry was, lmao not that they've cleared that up since). having spent his entire life as part of firefam, denny's in the best position to know what resources they're working with. he's also got relationships with mara and jee-yun.
then there's harry, who's there as support and happy to do whatever the others can't. he didn't have to bring in may with her knowledge of emergency service directories, but he knew it'd likely save time and he wanted may to be included.
for the girls, i wanted to do something with mara and chim, who haven't interacted since halloween but obviously have a really deep connection. jee was originally going to be used to ferry a message to someone at a strategic time. she's at the age where the older kids probably use her to say goofy or mildly rude things to each other. but bait ended up working out better.
where the title came from

Hi!

🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻
thank u!!
Hi! np! Thank YOU
54 for 🔀:

Everyone is on board for the drive Evan to Pennsylvania idea. Especially Evan. He looks at Maddie with big eyes, like he’s stupid fucking puppy, and begs her to come with them.
“Well, I’m not sitting in the Jeep for three days,” Maddie says. “My back would mutiny. But I’ll fly out? Meet you there?”
“Okay,” Evan says. He doesn’t look happy about being stuck with Buck and Bobby. But what’s he going to do? Argue with a pregnant woman. No.
“I just need to figure out what to do about Jee,” Maddie says. She looks at Bobby. “If you two are leaving, Howie won’t be able to take time off.”
“No,” Bobby agrees. “That’s true.”
“Your daughter?”
“Yes,” Maddie says. “Jee-Yun. She’s four."
“You should bring her!” Evan begs. “I want to meet her.”
Buck feels like he’s going to be sick.
“Uh…” Maddie frowns. “Maybe not yet.”
“I can watch her while Chim is busy,” Eddie volunteers. “I don’t start back at work for two weeks.”
Ah, the original date he gave Buck, then. So not even Bobby would know about his surprise.
“You’d do that?” Maddie asks.
He nods, smiles. “Of course. If Buck can do it, I’m sure I can.”
“Hey, now,” Buck mutters.
Eddie winks at him.
Winks. Huh. That’s new. Do they do a lot of winking in El Paso?
“Okay,” Athena says. “So that’s settled. While you’re headed to Hershey, I’ll look more into this Ingram character. There’s more here, and if there are resources that can help us, I want access to them.”
“Thank you, Athena,” Buck says. “I appreciate your help.”
She smiles warmly. “Anything, Buck. You know that.”

54 for 🗻:
---
“I don’t know if this is getting framed,” Maddie observes neutrally.
Eddie snorts. “You absolutely know Buck will frame it. Quality be damned.”
Maddie laughs. “Okay, you’re right.”
“Jee, sweetheart,” Chim pleads. “Just three seconds of smiling.”
“Your uncle is going to frame this, Jee!” Eddie calls out. “You don’t want to look angry on our living room wall, do you?”
This has the opposite of the desired effect. Jee glares at Buck.
“Uncle Buck, don’t,” she pleads.
“Well, of course I’m going to,” Buck says. “You’re all so beautiful.”
“Worth a shot,” Eddie shrugs.
“I’m just glad they’re not making us pose for too many photos,” Maddie whispers. “I’m happy to sacrifice the kids to the cause of keeping me out of it.”
“Artie!” Buck complains. “You cannot pull your shirt above your face! This is a respectable photo!”
Maddie and Eddie just have to laugh at that point.
ii.
When they drive home from Big Sur, it’s dark by the time they drop Chris off at his apartment and arrive home. It’s been a long day, a long drive, and Eddie is tired. Long drives with Artie always involve a lot of talking. Which is good! But tiring. Only Buck has that same level of yapping energy.
The point is, Eddie is contentedly tired. So much so that he almost misses it, carrying bags up the front stoop. A gift bag, complete with tissue paper, sitting on their welcome mat.
“Whoa,” Eddie mumbles, pausing.
“Dad?” Artie says, stopping beside him. “Is that for you or me?”
Good question. It’s about halfway between both their birthdays.
“Is that a bomb?” Buck blurts.
Eddie gapes at him. “Buck…”
“What? A bomb?” Artie asks. “Why would someone leave a bomb? Are we going to blow up?”
“Sorry! I’m tired. Fun memories,” Buck scowls. “Uh… It’s probably not a bomb. Right?”

Made it to the third level of the Reverie Corridor, and based on how Act III ends for each party and where I've gotten to in Rean's story, I'm gonna take a stab at what the hell's going on:
Tumblr media
Trails to Azure and Cold Steel III and IV establish that causality exists and can be tracked thousands of years into the future, even accounting for manipulations (see: KeA rewriting causality to have the SSS survive the Sun Fort), and Cold Steel IV reveals that the nature of the world is that there is no world, just Zemuria, and entities like demons and McBurn are from beyond Zemuria, and that Ouroboros and a few other key figures understand and can seemingly observe the world beyond Zemuria. This isn't quite a multiverse, but it's similar in concept (and boy is it strange that "multiverse" has become a mainstream enough concept that it can be used to simplify this).
The key points I've encountered thus far in Trails into Reverie are:
Novartis revealing that the supreme leader contacted Ouroboros- not the other way around- and apparently did it by hacking the Astral Code, which is Ouroboros' fucked up world hacking program.
All of the duplicates created by Novartis are mechanical (McBurn, Arios, the Emperor)
Rufus was affected by Ilya's dance, but Lapis was not*
Rean's party was convinced that Mecha Mishy was more "real" than would be expected, considering the circumstances
The Mecha Mishy thing is, funny enough, the biggest thing for me right now, because it implanted the idea that there may actually literally be a multiverse, or something like it, including one where Mishy (and Mecha Mishy) are real, and that it's already possible for things from beyond Zemuria to enter, what with The Divergent Laws. Combining that with the fact that Ouroboros is purportedly not behind the whole thing, and instead it's largely just Novartis acting independently after being captivated by how advanced the supreme leader's tech is even compared to Ouroboros leads me to the following:
The Supreme Leader is a Rufus from beyond Zemuria where the Great Twilight was not prevented, either because Osborne or Rean failed to take out Ishmelga, or because in this alternate Zemuria the plan was never to take out Ishmelga. The consequences of this are naturally Very Extremely Bad, and Rufus is thrust into a uniquely powerful position as... well, The Supreme Leader after the fall of civilization. Using the resources at his disposal (including the Black Workshop and Schmidt, who would've stuck around in this version of events), technology advances dramatically, just like they speculated, but the population has declined so severely that there is no "rising from the ashes". It literally was the end of the world and now they're stuck in it.
However, their technology became so advanced that they were able to peer beyond their own Zemuria, and said "hey, we can apply what we've learned to another version of Zemuria and everything will be great!", and the Zemuria the games take place in is literally the only one that didn't succumb to the Great Twilight, especially since the final Black Records are like "there is an infinitesimally small chance this will not come to pass if you are Big Heroes". Which also makes me believe that's the point of the Reverie Corridor and the operator (which I have to assume is AZOTH, the "causality engine" who wrote the Black Records), who's going "this situation is so fucked that you guys are allowed to use The Hyperbolic Time Chamber as much as you want to mitigate this because Jee-Zus".
Not entirely sure how the eighth Divine Knight factors into all this, but it doesn't contradict what I've put forth so far, and only suggests that Rean's roll is- as expected of Rean Schwarzer- extremely important.
*There appears to be a meaningful difference between Lapis and the duplicates Novartis creates, but I think it's safe to assume that Ilya's dance just doesn't work on non-organic life, so the playable (native) Rufus is not a robot.
