I've finally caught up with the Magnus Protocol.
The tiny detail of moving the Institute from London to Manchester means I can no longer picture it without John Rylands Library coming to mind. 😅

(It well worth a visit if you're in the UK. It's an exquisitely beautiful building.)

I've been fortunate enough to venture around the John Ryland's Library in Manchester today! Such a beautiful building, it's free to visit and you can study or read in a designated area

John Rylands Library, Manchester
It is a late Victorian neo-Gothic building on Deansgate, part of University of Manchester. The architecture is truly something else–I could not stop taking pictures! Halloween chills in the designs of old Manchester

Would you be brave enough to spend a night alone in Manchester's John Rylands Library, which opened to readers back in 1900.
The John Rylands Library is one of the finest examples of neo-Gothic architecture in Europe and is indisputably one of the worlds great libraries.
It would also make an ideal location to read Bram Stoker's Dracula and with the stunning design of the building, you can really feel the chills.

Just next door to the library sits the Wood Street Mission children's charity and it makes you wonder how many Halloween nights they have seen?
Here is something for you to consider. Mary Shelly's Frankenstein was published back in 1818, Wood Street Mission was founded in 1869 and Bram Stoker's Dracula was published in 1897.
One can only wonder what it must have been like, to either read or hear such stories recited back then.
