Theanticool's most anticipated fights of February 2025
It is a loaded ass month for combat sports. While the UFC is back to its weekly schedule, I'd argue ymmv in terms of quality loaded fight cards. So much so that 312 looks awful (with a couple hidden gems). But boxing is picking up the slack. Two absolutely loaded cards. The Beterbiev-Bivol 2 card on Feb. 22nd might be the most loaded boxing card I've ever seen.
There was going to be a ranking system w/ some words on the fight but I got lazy. But look at all this cool stuff happening in February.
Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov
Zhang Weili vs. Tatiana Suarez
Henry Cejudo vs. Song Yadong
Rob Font vs. Dominick Cruz
Brendan Allen vs. Anthony Hernandez 2
Chico Kwasi vs Teodor Hristov
Cem Cáceres vs Mory Kromah
Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol 2
Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker'
David Benavidez vs David Morrell
Brandon Figueroa vs Stephen Fulton 2
Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs Israil Madrimov
Agit Kabayel vs Zhilei Zhang
Carlos Adames vs Hamzah Sheeraz
Denys Berinchyk vs. Keyshawn Davis
Junto Nakatani vs David Cuellar
Tenshin Nasukawa vs Jason Moloney
Jonathan Haggerty vs Rui Wei

Huntoprey Participates in Ohio Underground Railroad-Whistle Stop Tour
Poets Against Racism & Hate USA and Ohio Poetry Association partnered with Ohio History Connection to present the Ohio Underground Railroad Whistle-Stop Poetry Tour Capstone Celebration. As the tour’s culminating event, the Capstone Celebration drew on the unifying spirit behind the Underground Railroad and our whistle-stop poetry tour events to inspire progress on social justice issues that persist today, reflecting the concept encapsulated by our slogan “poetry moves us beyond.” The Capstone Celebration featured readings and performances by poets William John Booth Jr., Lynette Ford, Huntorprey, Sidney Jones Jr., Kellie N. Kirksey, MoPoetry Phillips, and Norman Riggs Jr.; dance and musical performances by Brother(hood) Dance! and Urban Strings; a documentary film on the life of Joshua McCarter Simpson by Capital University students Aaliyah Bolden, Johansel Figueroa, Jaydn Grant, Isabelle Hanning, Rhema Johnson, Albert Kargbo, Beverly Kinateder, Jonathan Pinkerton, Ella Riedlinger, Chelsea Steinmetz, Jesse Stevens, Stephen Taylor, and Wesley Triplett; exhibitor tables; and discussion by panelists Dr. Andy Carlson, Sabrina Evans-Renkar, Dr. Andrew Feight, and Dr. Ted McDaniel. The power of the event was felt by all who attended!

You are SO RIGHT, op.
I grew up listening to this genre of music, so I am going to use this as an opportunity to shout out some of the artists/bands that shaped my childhood (and now, adulthood):
Random Encounters. The Living Tombstone. Man on the Internet. Harry101UK. Ponyphonic. Adriana Figueroa. Weird Al. Jonathan Coulton. Miracle Of Sound. Oh Geeez. PARANOiD DJ. Black Gryph0n. The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra. And Stupes! Especially Stupes.
…
These people are all masters of their craft, and to this day I continue to be utterly astounded by the sheer quality of the music that they create. (‘Adequate Wordsmith’? Hello???)
Fuck cringe culture, music based off of video games is some of the greatest shit I've ever heard.
JT Music? The Stupendium? DA Games? Or3o? Genius artists, creating pure masterpieces.
Not only do so many of those songs have amazing beats, too many of their lines are gorgeous poetry.
I just think it's pretty neat.
