LUIGI MANGIONE: A WALKING, TALKING LETHAL EMBODIMENT OF FAFO TO THE GREEDY💀
Tumblr media
Why is everyone always so surprised when desperate people don’t give a fuck anymore?
Midtown Manhattan, December 4, 2024. UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson took a leisurely walk to his firm’s annual investor conference. Luigi Mangione, 26, took that same walk—and, according to prosecutors, introduced Thompson to the consequences of a system that profits off human suffering.
By the time the cops showed up, Thompson was a headline, and Mangione was in cuffs. Fast forward to today, and the courtroom isn’t filled with stiff-suited corporate leeches hoping for swift justice. Nope. It’s packed to the brim with supporters, signs in hand:
💀 “Free Luigi” 💀 “Healthcare Is a Human Right” 💀 “We Charge Executives, Not Patients”
America, you might have a problem.
WHEN YOU FUCK AROUND, EVENTUALLY, YOU FIND OUT.
The only people "shocked" by this are the ones living in a fantasy world where you can strip people of basic needs forever without expecting them to snap.
You bleed families dry with denied claims and bullshit loopholes.
You hike up premiums while cutting coverage and calling it "cost-saving measures."
You deny treatment for cancer patients, diabetics, the sick, the dying—then throw up your hands like it’s "just business."
And what do you think happens when people have nothing left to lose? Do you think they just lay down and die quietly?
Corporate America is built on an unspoken agreement: You exploit. The masses endure. But every now and then, someone opts the fuck out of that agreement. And when they do? Oh, suddenly it’s unthinkable—suddenly it's unjustifiable—suddenly it's a tragedy.
Where the fuck was that energy when people were losing their homes over medical bills? Where were the headlines when patients died in waiting rooms?
You expect people to suffer in silence forever?
JURY NULLIFICATION: WHEN A SYSTEM STARTS CHOKING ON ITS OWN RULES
And here’s the real kicker—Mangione might walk.
Not because there isn’t evidence. Not because he has a dream team of lawyers. But because there’s something worse than a murderer in that courtroom:
A jury full of disillusioned, broke, fucked-over Americans who know damn well that this country’s healthcare system has killed more people than any gun, any knife, any individual ever could.
And that’s where jury nullification comes in.
💉 Can’t afford insulin? Sorry, not covered. 🚑 Need an ambulance? That’ll be $3,000. 📝 Denied for "pre-existing conditions"? Hope you like bankruptcy.
The jury might not see a murderer in that courtroom. They might see a symbol.
THE PROSECUTION VS. A FUCKING MOVEMENT
Prosecutors aren’t just fighting against Luigi Mangione. They’re fighting against the anger of an entire generation that’s done watching their friends and family get priced out of survival.
The same young, pissed-off Americans who can’t afford a check-up, therapy, or a goddamn EpiPen are the ones sitting on that jury.
All Mangione’s lawyers have to do is convince one juror that Thompson wasn’t just a man— he was a system.
And if they succeed? That guilty verdict turns into a mistrial faster than a hospital visit turns into crippling debt.
THE REAL QUESTION ISN’T “WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?”—IT’S “WHY DIDN’T THIS HAPPEN SOONER?”
Corporate America spends billions on security, stock buybacks, and lobbyists. But they forgot to invest in something far more important:
Not pissing off the wrong broke motherfucker.
And that, my friends, is how you find out.
💀 REBLOG if you know exactly why this happened. 🔥 LIKE if you think Luigi is the face of a broken system. 💬 COMMENT if you’ve ever had a claim denied or seen the inside of a hospital bill. 🚀 FOLLOW for more brutal truths, raw takes, and the kind of shit they don’t want you talking about.

I mean, we don't even teach it in schools OR let people know their rights in court.
Never see in lawyer shows? #jurynullification. Watching Boston Legal, & the lawyer goes 'he broke the law. What can I do? Ask the jury to disregard the law?' YES> In our corrupt, evil, 'just us' system, pleading not guilty cuz of a specific situation or bogus law is justified.
<And the fact you can't talk about it in court, outside of court, and even if you protest, there's people that have been arrested. For telling people the truth about our system, they got arrested. There's no justice in the usa....largest slave prison population in the history of the world. The Usa is the definition of a failed state.>

When Juries Take a Stand
When Juries Take a Stand
This is Brad. Lela is headed home today, so this may be my last post for a while. Or not. I sort am enjoying this.
About 25 years ago, I served on a Murder One trial here in Fairbanks.
WG was a miner in the Central area, northeast of town along the Steese Highway. He had a wife and a neighbor who was disgruntled with him. This is a typical story of miners in the smaller towns. They always…

Who is really guilty of Extortion? What Is Extortion? Most states define extortion as the gaining of property or money by almost any kind of force, or threat of 1) violence, 2) property damage, 3) harm to reputation, or 4) unfavorable government action. While usually viewed as a form of theft/larceny, extortion differs from robbery in that the threat in question does not pose an imminent physical danger to the victim. Extortion is a felony in all states. Blackmail is a form of extortion in which the threat is to expose embarrassing and damaging information to family, friends, or the public. Inherent in this common form of extortion is the threat to expose the details of someone's private lives to the public unless money is exchanged. Another common extortion crime is offering "protection" to a businessman to keep his business safe from burglary or vandalism. For example, Dan goes to Victor's place of business and demands monthly payment from Victor for the business's "protection" from vandalism and after-hours theft. Fearing that he or his business will suffer harm otherwise, Victor agrees to pay Dan. Extortion can take place over the telephone, via mail, text, email or other computer or wireless communication. If any method of interstate commerce is used in the extortion, it can be a federal crime. #BundyTrial #JuryNullification #RemoveNavorro #GoogleDanLoveBLM #Constitution

Jury nullification gives jurors the power to return a not guilty verdict even if a defendant has clearly violated the law.
While some states have tried to abolish this practice, Georgia has actually made it a part of our state constitution!

Fully Informed Jury Associationt:
Many people familiar with #jurynullification have heard this quote, but do you know where it comes from and why Thomas Jefferson was talking about it just over a year after the ratification of the United States Constitution? This #ConstitutionDay is a great time to read this short letter to Thomas Paine in which Jefferson expresses his concern that French Revolutionaries were not embracing trial by jury as Americans had.https://fija.org/library-and-resources/library/historic/letter-jefferson-to-paine.html

Hey fellow Ents. Need some help
Hey fellow Ents. Need some help
First, some background, then the story. You can skip this for the basics, I made a TL/DR in bold at the bottom.
My name is Zachary Smith. You could call me an undocumented medical marijuana user. I work full time for a small business serving the greater Indianapolis area. My job involves driving to various other small businesses around the city to take care of any IT needs. We have clients with the state(small claims courts and trustees offices), law firms, construction companies, CPAs, etc. High level companies having a real effect on the economy of our state. The company has never received a complaint about me or my performance, and many of our clients request me specifically when they call. I've never been convicted or even accused(until now, more on that in a moment) of any crime. By all indications, I am a high functioning ideal member of society and my cannabis use has no negative effects on my life.
Here in the state of Indiana, medical Marijuana has the support of 74% of Hoosiers. However, regardless of polls and emails sent to them, our legislators refuse to pass medical cannabis legalization(except for a very limited CBD oil law, although it's illegal to buy). We also have no ballot initiative in the state, and therefore cannot go around our legislators on this issue.
I am an insomniac, and I have extreme difficulty eating without the assistance of cannabis. My extreme lack of appetite is due to living with an allergy to wheat that I didn't know I had until I was 21. I'd always had stomach issues, but shortly after my 21st birthday(November 2015) I began to get sick every time I ate. Intense stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and more unsavory gastrointestinal distress. It took me around 2 weeks from this starting to figure out that wheat was the issue, and another couple of weeks for the damage to heal enough that I could eat properly. During this time I lost a lot of weight, majorly reduced my stomach capacity, and lost my appetite. Thanks to a good friend of mine, cannabis was suggested to me for appetite stimulation, and nausea reduction. It works wonders, and I don't know what I'd do without it.
I also discovered that cannabis was a much better solution to my insomnia than Unisom was. Unisom worked to get me to sleep, but I was left drowsy throughout the entire next day, not feeling like I'd returned to normal until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. I tried alcohol before bed for a short while(2-3 shots of captain just before brushing my teeth), but while it helped me fall asleep I woke up still tired, since alcohol inhibits your sleep and makes you restless. I'm told that even as an infant, sleep has been a difficulty for me to find. I find it almost impossible to fall asleep before 3 or 4 AM without some sort of chemical assistance.
I unfortunately made the unwise decision to keep a one hitter with a small amount of cannabis in my vehicle for when I was unable to return home to smoke and eat, or in case I stayed at a friend's house so I could excuse myself in order to smoke and go to bed. I was pulled over about 3 weeks ago, and the officer smelled marijuana and asked me if there was any in the vehicle. I, being an honest and moral person, confessed that yes there was. I told him the location of the pipe, and when he was unable to find it I got back into my vehicle, got it out and handed it to him. I was entirely honest and respectful to the officer throughout the entire process. I did this because lying to an officer of the law(or anyone) is wrong, and I know that my cannabis use isn't, and is my right. In 1958 the Fifth Circuit pronounced that under the Fourteenth Amendment, “the State cannot deny to any individual the right to exercise a reasonable choice in the method of treatment of his ills.”
I also know that alcohol prohibition ended when juries refused to convict on alcohol possession charges, a process known as jury nullification. It was only at this point that the federal government ended prohibition with the 21st amendment. These days, juries are mostly unaware of the fact that their job and moral responsibility is to judge the morality of the law as well as the facts of the case, and judges do their hardest to eliminate jurors who know their rights. (That is, if the trial ever goes to jury. Most nonviolent criminals are bullied into taking a plea deal with threats of maximum time otherwise)
I want to change this. My case is minor, but I refuse to take a plea deal. I am demanding a jury trial, and will do my best to teach the jury their rights and tell my story, and allow them to judge whether or not the state is overstepping its bounds in taking a hard-working tax-paying citizen out of his job in order to turn him into a tax burden for the crime of self medication through a black market that only exists due to the states refusal to listen to it's people.
I don't know if I'll be successful, and I am prepared to go to jail if I fail. I believe one has a moral obligation to stand up for what they believe, and I cannot admit to the state that my cannabis use is wrong, as it is not.
I think I have a greater chance of success if I can get some attention on my trial though. That's where I need you. I thought you'd be able and willing to help me get my story out there.
I believe I can get cannabis legalized medically here in Indiana, and possibly start turning the tide for full legalization the country over, by making jurors aware of their right to nullify unjust laws.
I am following the path I know is right in my heart regardless of the coverage and attention I get. I have to, I do not have another choice. I'm a little afraid, but I'm more afraid of giving up my principles to take the easy way out. I don't want to go to jail, but I will if I have to. When I get back out, the damage to my father's business and my life will be evidence in my continued fight against the state's overreach.
I'm perfectly willing to risk my freedom in the name of the human right to choose the best medicine for you. I just need amazing people like you to help get my story out.
TL/DR: I think I can get Cannabis legalized here in the state of Indiana with your help getting the information out about something called "Jury nullification"(If we can make it national news, it might begin to turn the tide in the drug war the whole country over), which helped to get the 21st amendment passed. Essentially, Juries decide a law is invalid and just refuse to prosecute it. I am a medical marijuana patient with a minor paraphernalia charge, and I plan to fight the state in court and ask the jury to judge the law, as the moral conscience of the community. This is the purpose of a jury, and why our founding fathers gave us the right to a jury trial; to stand up against government tyranny. I just need your help making sure the people of Indiana and the country know their constitutional rights as Jurors. Help make #JuryNullification a trending topic, and help me get in contact with media to get my story out.
You can find me on twitter @Zach0fAllTrade5, I've been posting about this pretty actively.
Indy NORML is ready to help disseminate information as well, but I need to find a way to get actual press coverage for them to release on Facebook and Twitter.
It's a crazy plan, and it will only work with enough attention to put pressure on the government. This is a way to make a permanent difference in this country. Will you help me?
P.S.:
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know it's long, but I feel the whole story is important and I really need help. I believe this is a way to make a difference, to allow Hoosiers to stand up and tell the Indiana legislators clearly that they don't want this law anymore. And with 3/4 support for medical, I think my chances at jury nullification are high, as long as people are aware of their right to it.
I could take the easy way out, and take plea bargain. But to me, that's bowing to the will of the state in an unjust law, and every person who does so reinforces the already bloated power of the police state. I cannot morally do this.

Fully Informed Jury Association: Today marks 47 years to the day since the mass acquittals in the trial of the Camden 28, who boldly told their jury they did what they were accused of... and then explained to them why they did it. Supreme Court Justice William Brennan called this “one of the great trials of the 20th century.” #jurynullification

Wow, what a look back in time. Forty-seven years ago today. Certainly a seminal day, and time, in my life. The country was being torn apart by an illegal and murderous war in IndoChina. The draft was grinding up the lives of young men. We did what we could to throw dirt into the gears of war. Most importantly, the "people" agreed. The jury came back with a full acquittal in spite of us being caught inside the Federal Building in the middle of the night. They were disgusted with the war, and they stood up against it
