Can someone tell me why there's so many shorts of Kate and Garrett from Twilight lately? Did I miss summit? Are The Twihards back again? Did we regain our relevance?

Garrett and Kate are very happily together and committed to each other. They have not had a marriage ceremony, but they see each other as mates.

I saw a YT shorts of Kate and Garrett and I remembered how much I love them. I still wish Stephenie Meyer would write a book about them and the Denali coven. They are such an underrated couple but I'm happy to find people who loves them too ❤❤❤

Prompt: Tanya returning to Denali after BD2 without Irina, and with Garrett in tow with Kate.

Must feel really strange/lonely for her cause she’s lost a sister and now everyone else in the coven is mated up.

"Thank you so much for hosting us, Esme. We'll be back before you know it." Tanya said softly to the other woman while hugging her.

"If there's anything you need, we'll be up there in a second." Carlisle told Tanya, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder.

She smiled at the blond vampire. "Thanks, darling. We appreciate everything you've done for us." Well, not the child your coven created who brought our sister to her death.

She headed out the door, not really wanting to stay there anymore while Garrett, Kate, Carmen and Eleazar said their goodbyes to the other vampires, needing a moment, just a single moment to be alone with her thoughts.

She hadn't had a chance to talk to Kate since the confrontation ended. Was she avoiding her on purpose? Did she think talking about it with her would just make it more painful for them both?

And... then there was Garrett. Tanya was happy for her sister, but she couldn't help the sharp flash of jealousy that went through her every time Kate wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his chest. What did he know about Irina? Sure, Tanya liked the guy well enough, and she was grateful to him for saving Kate's life, but the way Kate had to be around him all the time ever since Irina's death was starting to annoy her. This was their grief. Whatever happened to sisters over misters?

Her anger had other reasons, reasons she didn't really want to admit to herself. Part of her was jealous of her sister, that she had to be the one to find her mate. Irina was dead, and now someone had taken Kate from her too. And all of this had happened in just a few days. She was too stunned to fully process it all, but felt the same familiar empty feeling in her heart as when Sasha had died.

Feelings. Were. Stupid.

The door opened, and she heard the crunch of boots on snow as her coven mates walked out. At least Eleazar and Carmen were standing at a respectful distance, but Garrett and Kate were practically glued by the sides with his arm around her waist. Tanya rolled her eyes, knowing it was going to be insufferable to be around them once they got home.

"Ready to go, Tan?" Eleazar asked her, giving her a small smile.

She arched a thin eyebrow at him playfully. "I'll race you there."

"You're on." He smirked.

She lept into a graceful jump and started gracefully dashing through the snowy forest as the landscape around her turned to a blur, almost flying to get as far away from this place as possible. Tonight she would be at a club in Fairbanks, dancing and flirting meaninglessly to numb her heart and forget everything.

So on the cruise Garrett Wang made a joke that Kate Mulgrew never says anything inconsequential. As in, if shes not joking around then she’s looking into your soul and suddenly you’re having the deepest conversation of your life. He made that joke the night before photo ops with Kate. So then the next day my mum and I go up to get a photo with her together. Afterwards, she asked if we were mother and daughter and I said yes. Then, as my mum was walking off, Kate clasped my shoulder to get my attention, stared intently into my eyes, and with an incredible amount of emotion said “enjoy this time with your mother, you’ll miss her when she’s gone”. Then all of a sudden I’m needing to move even though I’m still processing that moment, while Kate is already getting ready for the next photo op. So uh, yeah. Garrett is absolutely right.
