Had to come back and say it

I'm actually so unbelievably mad about some of the elder cutscenes they changed.

The old animation was so fluid and had little to no clipping, or if it did it wasn't noticeable because of how the Elders were moving.

Tsadi's, I am INCREDIBLY pissed off that they changed. I've seen concept art of that cutscene, and loved the idea of it. Why would they take away them lifting the door. I LOVED that.

I suppose it makes sense, as the elder shrine was changed to be inside the temple.

however, TGC was lazy and made it so the memory was still outside...???

If Teths hadn't changed, it would have made it a lot easier for me to understand what he was doing. Because, believe it or not, watching the Light Awaits cutscene is the only reason i realized the darkstone opened the door. Before that I thought he was making this light sucking block for the hell of it.

The valley twins was such a cool animation, and I?? Sorta understand changing it?? Like maybe the whimsy, floaty thing doesn't show the personality they wanted the twins to have.

But all that movement... In exchange for clipping, a floating or sinking sky kid, and choppy, awkward animation at the start-??

Not worth it.

I think the only elder cutscene change I like is the Vault cutscene, as they added Resh in the mural line up.

Hey so I have a very silly hehe haha hoohoo question for anyone who sees this post

Does anyone else always know when they're dreaming?

As you sleep, and move through the dream, you're very aware that you are dreaming. Maybe you think, oh wow, I can't wake up to tell my friend about this dream! Maybe you do something that wasn't meant to happen because why not? You're dreaming, do whatever, right?

Maybe you know the direct steps to wake up from your dream, and there is such a deep sense of dread of dreaming that you rush your dreaming self to run through those steps. You are in a dream where you cannot simply tell yourself to wake up, so you must run to that house, run through that door and wake up. You must wake up, you can't stay here. You know its a dream and you must wake up now.

And those rare dreams where you didn't know you were dreaming are the worst to wake from.

You didn't know you were dreaming.

The feeling of waking up and realizing it wasn't real, that you have this fake memory in your mind that you can't wish away because it felt so real is devastating because what if you're still dreaming?

What if your core memories aren't real?

What if the things that made you, you, aren't real?

Just a dream you couldn't discern from reality.

Those few hours, or few minutes, after you wake up are so nauseating because as you're still half asleep you can't tell when the dream ended and when it began because for once you didn't know.

duality of my Sky aus is so funny cause they're mostly Resh centered but its like Resh has a happy life, grows up with minimal trauma and the kingdom possibly doesn't explode vs Megabird flays Resh and wears it

As of recent a good chunk of my dash is Tethyin related posts that mention Joowee in the tags or the post itself. It's like a group of worshippers gifting offerings to their patron god

And listening to it recently, I realized it matches Noctifer/Supernova Resh a LOT (Sniffing and snotty sobbing noises included) so I thought I'd draw them with some of the lyrics hehe

Drew the ideas for this at school, on paper, but I think it translated well to digital
