Some changes for Power Of Three

Each Clan effectively has a "classroom". There was a baby boom when cats came to the lake!

Leafpool's arc was quite messy, so I'm smoothing some things out. For one, her attitude towards Jay wanting to be a cleric is less "hm but you are blind and unable to Do Thing" and more "are you absolutely SURE you wish to swear eternal chastity and never even getting to adopt? You can be a Warrior if you want to! I promise! I'm more than honored but you do NOT have to do it!!!"

Jayfeather also WANTS to be a cleric. A lot of his early frustration comes from cats assuming he only wants because he may doubt himself. He doesn't doubt himself! But hunting is so, so boring, and while fighting is fun... He can't just fight and then sit on his rump.

Lionpaw also is assumed to want to be a cleric.... Because he likes plants. No, he is not a cleric, he is just a fan of Good Nice Smells. Lionpaw and Jaypaw switch mentors. Hollypaw also was a Cleric Apprentice for a while, but she cannot do blood. Holly has hemophobia and feels quite ill when seeing blood/wounds.

Squirrelflight's weird eary arc moments where the authors tried to make her a Bad Mom before realizing The Three need to care that she's not their mom have been fixed. Yes, she is busy, but she's still THERE for them.

The Three all have issues. All are caught in 2 worlds.

Jay is caught between the physical realm and the spirit world. His ties to the spirit realm, Starclan and the rest, keep his mind in unrest. He can feel the spirits of living cats around him, some emotions are contagious, such as Sorreltail's anguish over her lost son. The feeling is so thick it makes him upset. It's hard, and tiring, and it makes him snappy. Not to mention his ties to the past...

Holly is struggling with a balancing two lives. The politician, the good 'little thinker' who keeps the Warrior Code in her mind at all times despite seeing it's cracks and lack of nuance... With the rebel. The firey rulebender who does what is right, even if it is against the laws. The friend to not only Fallen Leaves, but Willowpaw of Riverclan, Olivepaw of Shadowclan and Figpaw of Windclan.

Lionpaw has his own problems too. On one hand, he wants to have fun, enjoy himself, have lots of friends. But in his mind and dreams he is tormented. All of The Three were targeted by Tigerstar but only Lionpaw gave in. In his mind he sees himself do horrible things, he thinks he is blowing off stem in the Dark Forest, when the reality is that he is being groomed into their weapon... Unlike Canon, Lionblaze never acts on his thoughts. Well... Not on living beings.

Technically, Pouncepaw and Otterpaw, Pouncetail and Otterheart, are apprentices during early Po3, but Otter graduates in the middle of The Sight, and Pounce graduates in early Dark River. That and, "ugh, we're way too old to be hanging out with you 😒 Kittens, honestly!"

Quarryclan Part 2

• Went on patrol and finds a loner who joins the clan with his four kits, Slopeleaf goes on patrol and finds an abandoned kitten that dies a few days later

•Rosefur found a loner named Uriel who joined the clan, Uriel keeps his name

• Cresspaw, Kinkpaw, Nightpaw, and Ploverpaw started their apprenticeship

• On patrol a loner is found, Lightdust joins the clan

• Cresspaw has a secret

• Uriel and Cresspaw find an injured cat and bring it back to camp, the cat decides to join the clan

• Ashenpelt finds an abandoned kit, the kit is taken back to camp and nursed back to health

• 19 moons in Fadingneedle and Firestar die of green cough, the leader lost a life

• Icedusk has a secret

• Darkpaw is now Darkpatch

• A patrol finds a loner who joins the clan bringing their kits with them

Cragshadow's wounds smell infected to Stormflicker.

Kinkpaw has faced every challenge with a solid and clear plan and has been deemed ready to become a warrior. The newly named Kinkblaze stands proud before their clan.

Saltears quickly spots a snake hugging the wall at the entrance to the cave and rushes over to hiss at it and bat it away. No snakes are getting in here on their watch.

Heavypaw has recovered from their dog scratches.

Bouncedew is hit by a monster while attempting to cross a thunderpath.

Cragshadow no longer smells the sore infection in their wound.

Whisperpeak ate some curious-looking red berries and instantly regretted that decision. They are now poisoned.

Cragshadow has finally healed from their injury.

Flutterbuzz's eyes have also recovered. Both medicine cats breathe a heavy sigh of relief.

Pepperpaw got spooked by a ginger cat statue sticking up out of the sand.

Cragshadow and Sleekrun have caught greencough.

Whisperpeak is tired after fighting off that poison but they did it.

Yewchill has recovered from a sprain.

Sleekrun has recovered quickly.

Heavypaw listens patiently as Hopstar rambles on about clan pride and Heavypaw's improvement. Hopstar names the new warrior Heavytail and praises their heart.

Frostfreckle and Yewchill spar together. Flutterbuzz tries to join in but collapses into a coughing fit. Stormflicker rushes over and assesses them. They diagnose Flutterbuzz with yellowcough and rush them to the medicine cat den.

Pepperpaw is named Pepperbuzz in honor of their vigor.

Kinkpaw is so well adjusted and if Starclan had just...not gotten involved, Sappaw might be, too. I'd imagine Sappaw would have found his way into the medicine den anyway, though - even if just as a way to get away from the other kits' mocking.

This is the rough draft list for the cats alive at the exact moment that TNP opens up. If I missed anyone, you guys lemmie know all right?

(And a gentle wink that I can be convinced into saving dead characters or going in interesting new directions for them if you've got a cool suggestion, ESPECIALLY in the Clans that aren't ThunderClan.)

Also as a side note; dividing up the warriors into 3 further ranks is super super helpful for making a large Clan look smaller.
