LAPISSSS YES I was hoping someone would send her LOL but yeah I’m like obsessed with her for some reason. Every criticism about her is correct but I’ve always loved her superficially since I was a teenager and I’ve decided to embrace that recently. Like I think she has so much cool stuff to work with and it’s really disappointing to me that they couldn’t even keep her personality consistent you feel me? I love the little bits of her character you pick up on from her better written episodes and it makes me wanna see more done with her, like I think she’s adorable in alone at sea and I just wish that version of her was more present through the show! her thing with jasper has so much potential and I hate how much it got neglected, like I think it’s really interesting that lapis fucked this stranger up so bad and I want to see how she handles that mentally. ALSO her and peridot are cute I wish we got more time with them being cute I wanna see how their relationship developed :( like they really had these bitches live together off screen for a season and start acting like a married couple and they were like well I guess people don’t wanna see how that happened lol. I just wanna see more of them augh like give me the content!!!

JAZZZPERRRRR I love u jasper u r so hot and you did so much for lesbianism. I’m not the specific kind of gay person who is just SUPER attached to her but I love and respect her and she is a delight to have on screen. I wish that she had gotten more humanizing moments and generally more development, I love her as a foil to amethyst and I think it’s a shame that they never got any follow up together after earthlings. Also her relationship to Lapis is cool and like I said I wish it had gotten explored more, I love that they are strangers that because of unprecedented events became linked to each other in such an intimate and horrifying way. Jaspers response to Malachite being that she LIKED it is SOO interesting for both her and Lapis, and I love that that experience could be seen as being what inevitably led to her corrupting herself. It’s just really cool from a character psychology perspective, jasper in general is so cool. My gf is like a #jasperlover and has a lot of really good cool thoughts on her and whenever she talks about her I’m like you are so smart and cool. I’ve joked that she should make a jasper fan comic to match my lapis fan comic but honestly she’s too cool to make steven universe fan projects. Also it’s fucking insane to me that people projected so much of their baggage onto her like she’s not a fucking abuser what’s wrong with you people. God remember in like 2016 when people had such a stick up their ass about her it was fucking insane she’s too cool to be reduced to that, I think it’s definitely partially the shows fault for using pretty loaded language in alone at sea and never showing enough of lapis confronting the severity of her own actions so people pretty harshly boxed them into “fragile helpless waif vs evil mean abusive butch” and it sucked really bad, I think that’s a minimizing interpretation of both of their characters but especially jaspers
