A New Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge

“I’ve often found myself buying packs and not exploring them fully or not playing them after my initial playthrough!”

“I haven’t even thought about XYZ pack in years!”

“I’m bored!!”

Any of these testimonials sound like you? They sound like me too! The Sims 4 has been out for over 10 years and at the time of writing has over 70 DLC packs with 17 expansions and 12 game packs (may the concept rest in peace) and I have spent far too long forgetting some of my favorite features. SO I have decided to write a Lepacy Challenge based on each of the Expansion and Game packs! (Except Batuu obviously)

Currently, I have written up to Life and Death (which is the most recent pack at the time of updating this) for a total of 29 generations! When new packs come out I will do my best to update quickly. I have outlined a basic story to connect the generations but obviously, you don’t have to follow it, do what's fun for you! For a slightly abridged legacy, you can play without the GP generations.

Every generation has a set of basic rules and an additional set of just for fun rules. While the basic rules must be completed every generation, just for fun rules are there for extra challenges, tasks, storytelling bits, or cross-pack challenges. There are also some general rules for the overall lepacy. If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know!

Please be aware that I am currently playing through this challenge for the first time on my YouTube channel and as a result, rules may be updated/changed/added to better reflect their generation’s pack features!!! If This Happens I will add a note about it!!

[Lepacy Gen 1] Agnes Crumplebottom Intro

I decided that Agnes Crumplebottom is my absolute favorite. I am obsessed with her, and want to give her a good life.

I am also a storyteller, so I just love the idea of giving her a romance and love life that she deserves. I also wanted to do a Lepacy challenge, and what better way to start a Lepacy than with Agnes Crumplebottom herself?

I am basically playing out my Lepacy on my Twitch channel (my username there is judetude). It is going to take me a long time to finish it, though, because I love spending way too much time with my sims. Their lifespans are uh, very long. But, I am having a lot of fun.

I also changed the rules for the Lepacy (cause I am a rule breaker). I am only downloading packs I like, so I am skipping some generations (sue me). And I also have both the Base Game and Seasons installed for Gen 1, cause Seasons should have been Base Game anyways.

Agnes is going to meet a friend very soon! I might even make a machinima about it. I don't know! The possibilities are endless and I am excited.

currently redoing my mods folder - which is a lengthy process. but worth it tbh, i’m working towards optimising my game as best i can so it runs smoothly for recording in the future.

that being said— if you have any good tips or suggestions to improve game performance please feel free to share, i would highly appreciate it <3

back to recording: i do have plans on creating and uploading content to youtube, such as TS3 let’s plays, speed builds and CAS downloads, other games from the sims franchise, and potentially games outside the sims that i enjoy as-well

i don’t want to make this post too long.. which i already felt like i’ve done lol. so i’ll update y’all again later on my lepacy challenge hehe

Jay and Dina are engaged! Jay got a call about some extra money if he could get married within a few days, and so he thought now would be the best time for these two to tie the knot and make their situationship completely official!

Even though Jay is non-committal, he has never felt so happy and fulfilled in life before he met Dina. Even though it might not have been the most romantic proposal- (she had just come home from a 12 hour double shift at her salary-person job) Dina was overjoyed to come home to this surprise.
