RW: I am. My mom adopted me when I was, gosh, thirteen I think? A lot was going on at the time. She’s a lovely woman, my mom. I’m very blessed to have found her.

RW: I do have a lot of pets. I like to post pictures of them. They're all rescues. I have two bunnies, a cat, a turtle, a hedgehog, three hamsters, and a lizard. I love them all dearly. My friends rotate who watches them when I’m out of town for various things. Except for Neil, he tried once but I think my lizard was rude to him so he refuses to come over anymore.

NH: I am. They’re my first cousins. I’m also, well was I guess, the twins guardian for a couple of years.

NH: My first language is English but I learned German as well from my years abroad there. Erik is from Germany too so that’s how we talk to each other for the most part. The twins also speak it so it’s like a super secret code language when I don’t want other people to understand it. Neil and Andrew do the same thing. They literally went out of their way to learn Russian solely for that reason.

Question: Nicky Hemmick sexuality

NH: I’m gay. I’m proud too, even if it took a while to come around to it. My folks weren’t great about it growing up, but it is what it is. I’ve been out and proud for years now. I’m wishing all the seasoned and baby gays out there all the luck and happiness.

I stayed up until 6AM reading Queen of the Mountain by @centuryberry and am currently four chapters into Act II. This fic is so good--I usually never touch reader insert fics, but I'm so glad that the intriguing tags and summary outweighed my initial hesitance!!

I just read a fanfic where Sun Wukong got DBK & PIF to be better parents through the power of revoking their son privileges and honestly I’m kind of tempted to make my own spin on that solely for the fact of me getting that wholesome Uncle nephew relationship between Wukong & Red Son I so desperately crave

also Wukong and Macaque only getting along just so they can be there for their nephew is just fucking amazing like their nephew needs help and they’re going to get along to give it to him also Red son would give them an incentive to get their shit together and work on their issues, so shadowpeach anyone?

What's this AU about?

Q&A:

What is the Successor AU?

-An alternate universe where Mei and Mk were born in the same era that Redson was.

-Macaque raised Mei, Wukong raised Mk, and Nezha raised Redson. -Story has shadowpeach implications in it. Don't like? Don't read.

What are the changes to this universe?

-Shapeshifting and glamour don't exist. Hence why Macaque can't hide his eye or his ears.

-Macaque was on the Journey to the West with Wukong

-Wukong never killed Macaque in this AU

-And other changes, but for the most part, it's the same.

When and Where does it take place?

-The story takes place around 95 years after the journey to the west ended. So it takes place in like ancient times.

-Takes place in China (supposedly, I mean, I'm assuming the JTTW took place in China.)

Why did Macaque, Wukong, and Nezha raise those three?

-I can't answer for Macaque and Mei cuz that's a spoiler.

-Nuwa created and gave Mk's stone egg to Wukong as a sort of challenge to see if he could raise a child. (There's more detail to it but that'd be a spoiler.)

-Nezha is the god of children, so he took it upon himself to take responsibility for Redson after Princess Iron Fan was put in jail. He calls himself Redson's "older brother."

What's the story summary?

-Basically, I just wanted to create a possessive Wukong AU. Most of the story is basically a game of hide and seek. Where, over the years, Wukong tries to find Macaque but keeps just missing him. Redson finds Mk stuck on Flower Fruit Mountain and they bond over time. Mei eventually finds Redson and Mk while she was on her own journey. Read the story to find out what happens!
