My favorite part of The Pitt is every single doctor desperately vying for Robby’s attention and approval and then there’s Whitaker who looks like he wants to scurry off into the walls or crumple into a puddle and disintegrate every time Robby so much as glances his way and so of course that’s who Robby decides to be like “that’s him. that’s my new favorite white boy” with

#im joking but also #smth smth the boys club of it all #robby latches onto to whitaker and says he has game and constantly checks in on him in a way you can picture him doing with a younger #Langdon. meanwhile mohan and mel and santos and javadi and mckay are kinda just. there #and he is obviously a good teacher to all of them. hes hard on Mohan because he believes in her and mel and mckay are doing fine and dont #need checking in on and santos he does check in on when it becomes clear there is a problem and collins and him had a thing so he can’t #hover. but also #its clear he sees himself in whitaker and saw himself in langdon and adopted them as His Mentees in a way we have not seen him do with any #of the women #and you combine that with everything with David and Mckay and its like. okay i see you robby #like he is not a misogynist but he has created an unintentional boys club! hes thinking more about the kid with a hit list than the girls #that list targets!#it is just. such a realistic depiction of a genuinely good guy who is trying his best but also does have ingrained biases that even he #is not aware of #the pitt #the pitt hbo #the pitt 2025 #michael robinavitch #dennis whitaker
