What does it mean to you to be a lesbian when you’re both not a woman and also dating people who are also not women? /genuine question

ok so, first, theres a couple things i want to clarify.

my relationship with my boyfriends is strictly platonic.

lesbian isnt only a term that means women attracted to women (it can mean that, tbc, but there are other definitions). the definitions i use/go with are either: someone who is not a binary man attracted to people who are not binary men, and queer attraction to women.

I consider myself bigender (nonbinary/boy) and i have never romantically dated or really been romantically or sexually attracted to a binary man. i have dated someone who is genderfluid and was partly a man, and other than that i have only dated girls/nonbinary people (at least when it comes to their identity at the time of our relationship)

I am definitely romantically attracted to women and nonbinary people, and i think i might have the capacity to be romantically attracted to men, but i've never experienced that.

so, i fit both of the definitions that i listed above. im not a binary man and i am attracted to people that are not binary men, and i would consider my attraction to women queer.

ive recently been considering using the term gaybian or lesgay, which are both terms for someone who is both gay and lesbian, but i havent put that in my pinned yet.

and also, this is your reminder that trans lesbians are valid, transmasc lesbians are valid, he/him lesbians are valid, nonbinary lesbians are valid, mspec/bi/pan lesbians are valid, poly lesbians are valid, ace/aro/aroace lesbians are valid, literally all lesbians are valid, and if you think otherwise you are not welcome here and you can unkindly get the fuck off my blog <3
