A little over a year ago, many of us developed varying degrees of fixation with Lucifer. Many of us being oddballs and/or black sheep in our own rights, usually autistic to boot. Through our shared connection with him, we found each other, and began to see the brilliance in one another that a good chunk of us never see in ourselves. It’s as if Luci lived up to his Light Bringer title by being a light for us, then leading us to finding even more lights within each other, and even if much like Lucifer many of us blind to our own brilliance, we can still be warm comforting beacons that bring out the best in each other. We went from only having the Morningstar to being a galaxy full of stars (I know the Morningstar is Venus, just roll with it😅). The warmth and light from all these bonds I’ve made is the greatest gift I’ve received in years, to the point where many of you feel like true family to me, despite the varying briefness of knowing you. I hope that been able to give at least some of that warmth and love back, and while I may need to pull back a bit on some of the help I give for the sake of my mental health, I hope I can help provide some light when you’re in the dark. Love you, fam and friends, your warmth is all the gift I need today🥹

Yeah. So instead of drawing the four days of wxwood week that I missed, I drew the poolrooms. I've been getting back into it recently, and honestly level 37 has always been my absolute favorite, still don't understand why.

Large, inviting swathes of warm sunlight reflect on the white tiles, yet we never directly see the source of light. A choice to turn away.

Emily Dickinson once wrote “Forgive me, if to stroke thy frost/Outvisions paradise!” When imagining her death with her lover, Sue. There is something so tender with love and shame when Dickinson confessed she would rather cherish a cold eternity with Sue than religious acceptance and afterlife.

Safety and escape is offered just a little to the right yet each time without fail the choice is made to look at the shadows, curious and wanting more at the risk of danger deeper within. There is just so much restraint and longing in these renders. To know there is something nicer and still stand with your back to it. To prefer the dark, to risk getting lost just for the sake of it.

To know there is something worth loving more than the absolute.

Where are all the old writers at?

Nothing against the teen and early twenty something writeblrs I keep seeing but you're all so young and full of hope and haven't got jaded yet. I struggle to relate.

Where are the other misanthropic thirty and forty something writeblrs who have been beaten down so often that they hate everyone and everything including their WIP, but write it anyway because typing onto the page makes the file suffer?

I can't be the only cranky peri-menopausal pessimist writer with a grudge out there, right...

i was fishing on mcci the other day and found an elusive fish spot that cub also was fishing at but i didn't want to go like stand right next to him (there wasn't anyone else there) so i stayed back a little. and then i missed the fishing spot like 5 times bc i was so far away. and he fucking turned to look at me . mind your own business mr fan
