Letošní autosalon v Šanghaji přinesl řadu zajímavých novinek, ale jednou z těch nejzajímavějších je určitě nový model japonské značky Lexus. Prémiová značka Toyoty se rozhodla rozšířit nabídku o zbrusu nový model, kterým je dodávka LM.

Podobně jako další vozy nabídky Lexusu, i LM má svůj základ v běžném modelu Toyoty. Dodávka LM vychází ze třetí generace minivanu Alphard. Zajímavé je, že Lexus umístil nové LM po bok ostatních vlajkových lodí, jakými jsou kupé LC, sedan LS nebo SUV LX.

Lexus LM však není jen obyčejnou dodávkou od Toyoty s prestižními znaky, ale na jeho palubě je spousta luxusu. Nechybí zde sklopná sedadla, kožené čalounění, obrazovka o rozměru 26“, chladicí box či úložný prostor na deštník ve stylu Rolls-Royce.

Oficiálně byly potvrzeny dvě možnosti hnacího ústrojí. Základním modelem je LM 350, který je poháněný 3,5 litrovým vidlicovým šestiválcem. Druhou možností je hybrid LM 350h, jež kromě elektromotoru využívá 2,5 litrový řadový čtyřválec. Lexus standardně nabízí pohon předních kol, ale za příplatek je k dispozici i pohon všech kol.

Bohužel je jen malá šance, že se LM dostane i na evropský trh. Segment luxusních dodávek je zde až příliš malý a Lexus se raději zaměří na rozšiřování nabídky crossoverů a SUV, které v současnosti ovládají trh s auty v Evropě.
