Yandere Buddha HCs
-Buddha is very powerful but also very intelligent- he knows how to approach you in a way others wouldn’t bat an eye at- like a friend.
-He’s much nicer to you than he is to others, willing to share his snacks with you, and will constantly come to find you to spirit you away to eat snacks or treats.
-He’s physically affectionate with you, hugging you, holding you around your shoulders or waist, hugging you to him, keeping you close- but once again he does it in a way that doesn’t bother you, to you he just seems overly friendly.
-However, if others are around you, he has no issues glaring at them, giving them a silent warning, but you never see this, when you look at him he’s all smiles and looks like a giant dog, but when you’re not looking he looks like a hellhound, willing to tear the throats out of anyone who would dare think of treating you in the same way.
-He’s possessive of you, but not in the way of hiding you away and keeping you to himself, he’s like a child- whining if your attention isn’t on him, draping himself over your shoulders or hugging you around your waist if you’re sitting, demanding you dote on him.
-He is like a child at times, but you only see the harmless side of it, teasing him for being so needy, but he adores it, he wants every scrap of your attention focused only on him.
-If someone is around you that he deems harmless, like children or Zerofuku, Buddha is completely chill, willing to play with those who come to him, and he isn’t all bothered with your attention not being on him.
-In fact, he loves seeing you with kids, even Zerofuku, seeing you doting on the younger looking god- he sees how good you are with kids, he wants to have children with you- and his obsession only grows as he wants to have a family with you- he wants to have everything!
-However, if someone he deems as a threat- like another god or warrior who could steal you away, he’s much frostier, not talking with them, and if he does, it’s passive aggressive or sass, all while glaring at them, silently telling them to stay away from you.
-Many of your friends tried to tell you about Buddha’s actions, how he threatens them when you’re not around, telling them to stay away from you.
-You know this can’t be true because Buddha is always so sweet and kind with you, and you begin to doubt your friends, getting angry with them for them telling lies.
-Buddha is just smiling behind you as your friends realize how he had been manipulating you, showing you kindness and not showing the dark side around you, so you wouldn’t believe your friends.
-Buddha had no problem taking you away from your mean friends who were trying to tear the two of you apart- he would shower you with love and affection, cementing the fact that he’s not a mean person!
-But for those not willing to take this, trying to take you back, Buddha had no issues showing why he was one of the strongest gods in Valhalla.
-You were his, and nobody was going to take you away from him.

does keefe come across as disingenuous to you? manipulative?
Not always. But there's definitely moments. This ask has been stewing in my inbox for a long while as I tried to piece together how I wanted to respond lol. now I know the Keefe girlies are instantly going to be triggered by the words 'manipulative' and 'disingenuous.' And here is where I remind you that literally every human being can be, and are often purposefully and accidentally both of those things. Doesn't mean they're evil, irredeemable pieces of crap, they're just words to describe the sometimes harmful actions of someone. Intentional or not. It's vocab baby! Think of them as neutral terms.
Also I feel like I lost the plot halfway through writing this, bc I AM EXHAUSTED but lol
I’m going to go in on the part about him being disingenuous more than manipulative, because I think the former has more merit. Specifically in regards to what he says about Sophie and his crush, vs what he does. I’m going to source from Nightfall onward, because I believe this is when his walk stopped matching his talk. (I had to bust out the Keefe wiki page for this lol)
Specifically, we’re following this quote and onward:  “From that point on, he only had one goal: To be whatever Sophie needed. Not the hero. Not the one taking charge of everything. Just a guy ready to listen and help and be there for her. A friend. Until she was ready for more.” - Nightfall, Keefe’s POV, short story. (takes place after Keefe’s ‘fight’ with Dimitar, through chapters 36-60) All right, this is a good sentiment. It had the sokeefe fangirls swooning, and for good reason. I don’t like Keefe, nor do I ship sokeefe, but this is quite plainly a ‘green flag’. Many people defend and cite this quote when they’re expressing that Keefe sees her as more than just a silly crush!! He’s letting her make the decision of who to like!!! But I do want to note Keefe’s comment of ‘Until she was ready for more.’ We know Keefe likes her, it’s normal for people to hold out hope for crushes and have fantasies of getting your way– but my issue is that there’s some level of weird assumption to the statement, like he’s going to end up being more than friends with Sophie no matter what. Which kinda throws the whole ‘I’m gonna be her bestie!’ thing out of the window a bit, because this still implies that his following actions have an undertone of still trying to sway her to be in love with him, and he’s not exactly what I’d call ‘friendly’ about it. Again, this comes off as disingenuous. Clearly he is not that okay with just being her friend, if his end goal is still ‘Until she’s ready for more.’ But I’m not gonna harp too hard on him for the rest of Nightfall, or the beginning of Flashback, because of course he’s still trying to win her affection and he’s still hoping she’ll choose him, he’s a kid with a crush. (And Nightfall and the beginning of Flashback don’t have established Fitzphie yet. But it’s going to get rough in Legacy, so be forewarned.) But I do think it is fair to note that through Nightfall and Flashback, all of his interactions with Sophie still have a romantic undertone through his actions and words, and it does not seem like he’s really trying to be ‘just her friend’. I’m not saying he was forcing anything upon her, or that Sophie was rejecting him (bc I don’t ship them and honestly never really saw her liking him, but I realize I am a bit of an outlier in this way so that’s not the point of this post.) – but his actions just don’t match the initial sentiment of the first quote, or at least the ‘friend’ part people defend. More so, it just seems like he’s waiting for that ‘until she’s ready for more’ moment to come.
Keefe’s nightfall short story covers from pages 354-556, so I’m focusing on his interactions with Sophie from then on, going forward. The first interaction that has less than ‘She’s just my friend!!!” undertones is on pages 668-669. Up until this point in Nightfall, he is doing a pretty good job at not being overly romantic and flirty with Sophie. (aside from unnecessary touching and stuff, but Shannon has a weird habit of making all of her guy characters touch Sophie too much, so I’ll keep that criticism reserved for now. It’ll come up later.) But this next scene is where I feel that he creeps back into romantic pursuit territory.
‘Sophie feels bad when she realizes that Keefe can get lost in others’ emotions, and hers are even worse. Keefe assures her that it's “worth it” and walks closer to her. She crashes into the wall, and he stands in front of her, blocking her from moving, knowing that Sophie's being ridiculous when she says that he should stay away from her, but Keefe claims that he likes to take on a challenge. When he leans in Sophie's stomach flutters as his breath tickles her skin. Keefe starts to say, "Speechless again? You know, there's—," but it is interrupted.’ - Sourced from the KOTLC wiki, so if you think this was written with a biased undertone, I didn’t write it lol. Okay, my first comment on it… who… does this to a friend? or someone they’re trying to ‘just be a friend’ to? Again, I’m not saying he’s in the wrong for continuing to flirt with her and stuff, (This scene always read to me as Sophie being mildly uncomfortable too, but that isn’t the point of this post so don’t @ me about it lol)  it’s just that it does not align with his ‘new goal’. She’s not taken, of course, and he still is hoping that she’ll start liking him etc… nothing wrong with this, except that it’s contradictory to the previous statement made in his short story. This is not ‘I’m waiting until she’s ready’ behavior, this is ‘if Grady didn’t walk in we probably would have kissed!’ behavior. Where’s the friendship sentiment now??
^this is the first thing that I find disingenuous, and the last thing from Nightfall.
Onto Flashback! Now I have compiled what I believe to be weirdly romantic things to do and say to someone you’re ‘just being a friend to’. All of these are from the kotlc wiki bc I am not in the mood to bust out all my books xd.
‘Keefe tells her she looks perfect, making her blush’ - Flashback, pg 5
Keefe tells her "Aw, the little shrieking sounds you're making are adorable." when Sophie plunges her hand into a bucket of ice water to learn body temperature regulation. (Pg. 248)
Then there’s a bunch of instances of touching, hand holding, waist grabbing, gazing, blushing, soft smiling, flirting etc (which I am NOW going to point out, because while Fitz does the same things, he never vowed he was trying to be ‘just her friend’, so at least his intentions are straight forward.)
My comment on all of this: people who are just friends (who are both straight and opposite genders) typically don’t tell each other they look perfect, they don’t call each other adorable, they are not constantly grabbing hands, brushing hair out of eyes, smoothing out worry lines in between eyebrows etc…  Keefe’s obviously done this the whole series, but the reason I’m not bringing all of that past stuff up is because all the books prior to the end of Nightfall, he didn’t vow to just be her friend. Of course, a lot of this chills out because then Fitzphie happens at the midpoint in Flashback.
But boy is it back with vengeance in Legacy.
‘Keefe says that Sophie has a cute crease in between her eyebrows and then points out that her feelings seem fluttery around him.’ (Pg. 70)
Now here is where the REAL issues begin. Not only is he supposedly trying to be just her friend, he’s also trying to back off romantically (or he should be!) because Sophie is no longer single as of right now, and she’s dating his best friend. So calling someone you like cute in this scenario is first of all, insane, but also again, contradictory to what he’s supposedly ‘trying so hard!!!’ to not do. And yes, Sophie would obviously notice if he just stopped complimenting her 24/7, because he’s done it for so many books- but we all know that his comments and compliments are because he likes her!!! He is clearly not trying that hard to curb it atp. It comes from a romantic place, not a place of friendship. He doesn’t call Biana and Linh cute 24/7, which tells me for a fact that there is nothing ‘friendly’ about it when it comes to Sophie.
Keefe comforts Sophie by saying that being unmatchable ‘won’t change anything, at least to people who matter.’ (Pg. 101 - 102)
I don’t have issues with his sentiment. Because he’s right, the right person wouldn’t care. I have issues with how he coaxed the secret of Sophie being unmatchable out of her using his empathy, and while yes, she needed someone to talk to… it probably shouldn’t have been the guy who’s overly obsessed with her love life because he likes her. Of course, Sophie doesn’t know this (eye roll) but KEEFE DOES. He knows. He knows this is probably the most unhealthy and worst place to insert himself considering the fact that he is just too close to the situation. But he does it anyway– bc at the end of the day, even though he claims he’s just trying to be a good friend, the ‘until she’s ready for more’ part is never going to really leave the back of his mind. I’m not saying he was trying to break Sophie and Fitz up (but we all know he wanted them to lol), but oh my Lord– he’s too emotionally invested. AND HE KNOWS THIS. So once again, it’s giving, ‘you said one thing, but you’re doing another’.  but I also don't fault him for trying to reassure Sophie, that was good friend behavior-- but he technically wasn't even supposed to know about the situation in the first place. He's obviously more invested in what Sophie chooses to do with her love life than say-- Biana or someone else.
Biana could say the same thing Keefe said, and I'd be like 'mhm, good friend!!!' but it's the fact that Keefe has feelings for Sophie that make me wince a bit. I'm not saying he's being a piece of crap or anything at all!!! Don't read it that way please-- I am just saying that his reasons for getting involved do have more... personal value to him.
‘When Ro is trying to convince them Bronte isn’t Sophie’s dad, Ro calls Sophie a “blond hottie,” and Keefe agrees.’ (Pg. 233 - 234)
Yep, because that’s totally platonic and an okay thing to agree to when a girl literally isn’t single and is dating your best friend, and you like her.
‘Keefe calls Sophie, “awfully cute in a crown,” and even though Sophie knows he’s teasing her, she blushes from head to toe.’ (Pg. 238)
Again, the issue is that he knows he likes her, but that she’s taken. THESE COMMENTS NEED TO STOP. AND YET THEY PERSIST.
There’s also so much physical contact. Oh my gosh. Like dude!!! Yeah you can hug friends platonically and hold their hands platonically… but not if YOU HAVE REAL GENUINE ROMANTIC FEELINGS THAT YOU”ARE SUPPOSEDLY TRYING TO RESIST !!!
I can appreciate that Keefe was in an awkward position, and you can’t just shut off feelings, and that there were many times when he told Sophie ‘hey, maybe talk to Fitz about this!’ I don’t think he’s a wretched person (though I don’t like him.) but there’s quite a few things he says but doesn’t follow through with actions, especially in this scenario, and he bends too easily to his own obsession and feelings with and for Sophie. And you can argue that he secretly knew she really liked him the whole time- but that is not an excuse to not even try that hard to keep a distance from the situation. She was literally taken- by his best friend no less. And I know there were many times Sophie went to Keefe first to emotionally confide in, but I do believe there was a lot he should have shut down, considering the fact that he’s the one who is aware of everyone’s feelings in the scenario, meanwhile Sophie is oblivious to Keefe’s underlying intentions and motivations. She feels safe confiding in him emotionally of course, because as far as she is concerned, it is purely platonic, as it has been since the beginning (from her POV). But he knows it's not. Could one argue that he, in some ways, takes advantage of the fact that she's oblivious to his feelings for her? After all, confiding in a guy you know likes you, while you're dating someone else is kind of a big red flag-- which means that unfortunately, Sophie can't make an informed decision of where to truly draw boundaries with Keefe, because she's unaware of his romantic pursuit. (I'm not saying he's taking advantage on purpose, and I genuinely think a lot of it is so subconscious that it's hard to really say it's intentional.)
I just don't think Sophie would have turned to him in the same way if she knew he liked her, while dating Fitz.
They are teenagers. They're all dumb. I don't expect them to be perfect, and I get why Keefe hadn't confessed at this point-- but I feel like it's fair to say that objectively, it's a very messy situation due to his lack of honesty with Sophie. And the fact that Sophie didn't know Keefe really liked her in that way meant that, in her POV, Fitz's obvious paranoia and distrust feels like it comes from an unwarranted place-- meanwhile, both Keefe and Fitz know what is really going on under the surface. She's so left in the dark, and it's quite horrible to read.
And I feel that this is WHY the narrative lets a lot slide with Keefe, because Sophie doesn't know his full side of it. She has the 'oh it's all platonic!" reading of the situation, which makes Keefe come off as very innocent in her eyes. Sure there's moments when she suspects he might like her as more than a-- but they don't last long, and she convinces herself otherwise.
Do I believe Keefe cares about Sophie? Yes. Of course. Has he 100% been a good friend on multiple occasions? Yes. No doubt about it. Do I believe he would remain her friend even if he never ‘got her’ in the end? Also yes. But it’s just that little ‘until she was ready for more’ that drives me berserk. Because I feel that that is his true intention, that he’s really only trying to be her friend in hopes of finally winning her affection. Which– many crushes are like that. But yeah, that’s why I find it to be quite disingenuous. Especially because once she’s with Fitz, it still seems like he’s waiting for his wish of her being ready and to realize her undying feelings for him to come to fruition. So how genuine is his ‘friendship’ really, when a lot of it is motivated by romantic aspirations?
Maybe I’m a prude. Maybe I don’t understand Keefe at all. Maybe none of this was ever his intention and it was all subconscious– but I truly believe he crossed some emotional boundaries that typically one does not cross when someone else is in a relationship. He tried to curb it sometimes, but at the end of the day, it just seems like he didn’t try THAT hard.
I believe that there are also more instances where Keefe is not honest about his motivations, or how he truly feels about something through the books, but this was getting so long, so let me know if ya'll want a part two lmaoooo

Break-ups and comebacks, jealousy and infidelity: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale synastry analysis
Tumblr media
I was watching the livestream of No Doubt's Coachella set and reminiscing on the good ol times, thinking of the songs Gwen wrote about Gavin Rossdale and their on-and-off relationship and then the trainwreck marriage (spoiler alert: he cheated on her with their baby sitter) and of course, I had to look at their synastry. And let me tell you, it is something.
Let's look at Gavin's chart first and see what we're working with.
Tumblr media
His chart is of a successful person first and foremost. A Scorpio stellium and rising gives allure and clout - paired with a Sun in a trine with exalted Jupiter in the 9th, that combination will sooner or later bring a lot of accomplishments. A flowing aspect like this brings optimism and lucky events in the person's life and the planet of grandiose and expansion in the house of achievements just strenghtens that. His ascendant ruler, Mars gives him some traits of brattiness, being in the loud and fiery Sagittarius. Right next to it is Venus - both yin and yang planets coming together endowed him with a huge charisma. The downfall is, that conjunction is closely squared by Uranus and Pluto, which can give not only sudden changes of the heart but also excessive secrecy, push-and-pull dynamic in relationships and someone who generally may like to play the field, especially given the mutable traits of Sagittarius. It is even more pronounced because Venus rules his 7th house of relationships.
His 5th house of romance and sex suffers as well, having both malefic Saturn and wounded Chiron in it. The ruler is that Jupiter in Cancer but its retrograde notion can bring some hiccups along the way.
Capricorn Moon in detriment may also carry some trauma surrounding parental figures that has a potential to repeat family mistakes and what google just told me is that his parents were married three times. Talk about troubled relationships.
But Moon in itself signifies women in his life, as well as his partner. The luminary is trined by that Uranus-Pluto conjunction, which definitely speaks of him having many admirers. This gives him even more charm. This is definitely a chart of a rebellious heartbreaker.
Tumblr media
And then we have Gwen. Her chart is also very success-friendly with a Libra stellium in her 10th house of career and exalted Mars on the ascendant that blessed her with powerful personality that stands out. Capricorn ascendant brings slow rise to success but also hardships in life and its ruler, Saturn is retrograde in the 5th house (both of them have that placement in the 5th, which is interesting) - this makes her focused on creativity and her kids but the retrograde motion brought a lot of issues with her breaking through is her younger years. Mind you, No Doubt's real rise to fame happened during Gwen's Saturn return (and yes, that's where the album name "Return of Saturn" came from; also, side note, she learnt about it through Gavin himself).
Gwen has a lovely domicile Moon in her 7th house, which should bring prosperity in relationships - and we gotta admit all of her relationships were long-term. Unfortunately that Moon is tightly squared by Jupiter, which talks about possible naivety and legal issues - that can hint at things like divorces. Moon in a square with the Sun and Mars can also signify severing and distance from a male figure in your life, which can very much be a life partner. What isn't helpful is also fallen Venus in Virgo, which can bring a troubled love life.
Okay so let's get into the synastry
The first thing that comes forward is their Moons being opposite. Gavin's Moon is right on Gwen's ascendant, which probably made them gravitate to each other in the first place as Moon touching someone's ascendant can act like a glue. This also underlines his changeability towards her - the Moon comes and goes, it's moody. Of course, Moon oppositions can be lovely as they may compliment each other and probably at some points in their relationship it was like that. But these Moons don't have much of a support from other planets aside from her Moon trining his Saturn and Chiron, which can definitely act like a glue between two people and the need to build a life together. It's not really an affectionate aspect, but it's binding and full of care.
Now if you look at synastry, what you should pay attention to is recurring aspects. Because they have Moon oppositions and because Gwen has a natal Moon-Sun/Jupiter square, what that results in is that his Moon also squares her Sun-Jupiter conjunction. This just adds to the fuel and makes the negative aspect more potent as it's an aspect of a separation.
The other tight opposition we have here is his Sun with her Saturn. That is… not the best. And again, thse planets don't really receive any other strong flowing aspects. The Sun-Saturn opposition is extra tough because Saturn already has a distancing attitude towards everything. Put it against the Sun, that's two leadership-hungry planets having a constant fight. It also brings possible disappointments, resentment and cold treatment as well as suspiciousness on the side of the Saturn person.
I've mentioned Gwen having a square to Jupiter, which can bring legal issues. Here Gavin's Jupiter is tightly squaring Gwen's Mercury - this just reinforces that and also brings conflict between their worldviews, thinking patterns and day-to-day tasks. An aspect like this can make one of the pertners too permissive or full of neglect. Heated arguments or heavy debates can arise with it as well.
Aside from the mentioned Moon on the ascendant, a pretty cosy aspect, Mercury-Neptune can bring some dreaminess to the relationship as well. This is also a great thing to have as an artist as you can be each other's muses. On the flipside, whenever we search for deception, Neptune is where we point at. And conjunctions with a planet like this can go both ways. In this case, it's Gavin's Neptune that was pulling wool over her eyes.
And if we think of infidelity, we look at the 12th house because it rules all things hidden from us. In this case, they both have planets in each other's 12th houses. Gavin has his Venus and Mars in Gwen's 12th house - these two planets placed like this can definitely point to romance behind your back. And then her Libra stellium is in his 12th house, which can show neglect and not seeing her - especially her Sun, which, as a luminary, definitely wants to always be seen.
"The most gorgeously jealous kind of ex-girl"
I accidentally found a scan of an old article about the pair from 2002 where Gwen discusses how jealous she can get over Gavin. She justified it with the fact that he's a desirable frontman followed by a swarm of groupies. I mean, the assumption here might be reasonable but shouldn't be the case if your partner assures you of their loyalty by their actions and such. So, where do I sniff jealousy and the lack of trust?
First, we may go back to the 12th house overlays situation. Rossdale's Venus and Mars are both in her 12th house so she had a constant feeling of something happening behind her back and because of the nature of these planets, that something is related to other women and romance.
Gwen's Jupiter in a square to his Moon might bring a few things: being overly permissive ("somehow I'm full of forgiveness", as she sang in a No Doubt song), having issues just getting along sometimes, bad spending habits and, again, divorce and court disputes. And speaking of his Moon, it is not a tight conjunction but the luminary is very sensitive: Gwen's Mars touches it with a 7° orb. A Moon-Mars aspects in synastry, especially conjunctions can make Mars very protective but also very possessive over the Moon. Especially that her Mars makes natal squares to her planets, which makes it kinda competitive in nature. Gwen's Venus in a square to Gavin's Mars is a spicy, alluring aspect but it can definitely bring out some jealous feelings as well - more so from Mars' side but it can go both ways.
My favorite part: timing
The pair met for the first time in April of 1995 (might've been April 11th but I'm not sure) when transiting Jupiter was in the middle of Sagittarius. For Gavin it was directly touching his Venus and Mars, for Gwen - it was sextiling her natal Jupiter exact. Jupiter transits can definitely bring a new partner in a person's life, especially one that might be seen as a blessing or a lucky coincidence. They also usually point to long-term partnerships. Interestingly, the ascendant in their Davidson chart is right around the middle degrees of Sagittarius as well.
Spiler alert: Jupiter themes will show up again.
They married on September 14th 2002 with Moon conjunct Chiron in the sign of Capricorn as well as a tight Jupiter-Neptune opposition. The big benefic was transiting through the sign of Leo, making a trine to the Jupiter in Sagittarius that took place when they met and started dating: this means both of them received positive Jupiter transits around the wedding day but it also gives us a clue that Jupiter cycles play a huge role in their relationship (aka they had their relationship milestones when the planet was going through fire signs).
The couple fired for divorce in August of 2015. Now, if you've been paying attention and you know math, you'd know that this is not only a full Jupiter cycle gone but also… *drum roll* Venus retrograde period in Leo!
Their marriage lasted a whole Jupiter cycle, which is pretty common given Jupiter rules legal matters. And their Davidson chart? Has Jupiter in Leo. It was of course also marked by the Venus retrograde. To be more impactful, Stefani was going through a Venus-ruled profection year.
Transit-wise, Gavin was just at the tail end of Saturn transiting his 1st house, while for Gwen, it was a Saturn opposition.
During the divorce, as Jupiter was moving over Gwen's Venus, she started getting closer to Blake Sheldon and the couple began dating in November of the same year. They're now married.

Prompt I stole from Reddit and implied tons of BKDK to!!
[Part 1: Izuku having a Quirk before OFA.]
If you came up with this Idea, please tell me so I can credit you. Sorry I have to steal- I just want to talk about these topics without seeing dudebros shitting because I include BK or BKDK
Also this post might be focusing too much on Izu so uh..
Izuku having a quirk is so.. weird and yet it's fucking interesting! Like, Ao3 does these too but I specifically only stealing from reddit because how I want a more friendly place to talk about these ideas and make it to BKDK somehow.
First prompt: Pinkie Pie! 💕🌸
Tumblr media
This is actually not a quirk specifically but more like Izuku being pinkie pie and have this chaotic sense of energy that I think that can fit him well! Like Imagine, Baby Izuku who is told that he's quirkless and YET he still have abilities of Pinkies.
Example:
Objects appearing from his fluffy green hair (Notebooks, Pens, Cupcake (Huh?), Glitter- and more)
"Deku-sense" like Pinkie sense, but less twitchy and Izuku just, have this, weird six sense.
4th wall breaking, but less intrusive than Pinkie? Since this ability don't really make sense in MHA world
Fast. Zoomies. He is like a orange cat when being provoked.
When sad, his hair deflates- It's weird.. but this rarely happened.
(and many more)
Kids probably either bully him less or just thinks Izuku is weirder here in this world. But Low-key, I like to think that people kinda use him in this world because he throws the BEST birthday parties.
What's Kacchan like in this AU?
I like to think that Katsuki bother Izuku less in this AU. Like, sure. Deku doesn't have a quirk.. but, hOW DID HE GET A FUCKING CANON OUT OF NO WHERE?!?!? He will not admit it, but he probably thinks that Deku's so fucking cool.. and honestly? He won't admit it.. that every gift that Deku gift for his birthday is being kept and taken care of with love. Kacchan totally have a separate shelf to display all the gifts Izuku gave him over the years.
Deku is known to be attached to Kacchan and Kacchan just, let's him. No bark and such. He probably have a low-key crush on Izuku and he FUCKING HATES IT. (no he doesn't :3)
This might be mean or nonsensical but I think the main issue in this AU for Izuku is not, the bullies (Yes bullies will still exist in this AU, Kacchan won't really be as involved.) It's the teachers.. Many fics has Aldera being, kinda an assholic school and I kinda like that HC so I'm involving this shit in my stolen prompts.
Izuku will STILL be quirkless so.. Teachers don't really, like Izuku. He is an enigma and he stands out WITHOUT having a "good" quality, that are powerful quirks. (I have a bad experience with school, so I'm projecting a bit)
There are Mean students that takes Kacchan's place but like Canon, Izuku doesn't give a fuck about them and just be the best him he could to others.
Izuku's goals and personality
Izuku's personality in this AU doesn't really go far from Canon. He's still a baby- He is still a nerd, he loves All might and he still wants to be a hero. But the emphasis of Izuku wanting to be a hero that save people with a Smile will be more pushed in this AU. Like, Izuku wants to SEE others smile and he will make sure that everyone can genuinely be happy.
He is also slightly more confident in this AU. He doesn't keep himself hidden most of the time, but rather he stands out (neurodivergent much), and he will have this reputation of "A trouble maker.. but a very kind one"
Very cheerful and having a smile that beams. Others who bullies this boy must be blind because LOOK AT HIM.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LOOK AT HIM!!
HOW COME PEOPLE BE MEAN TO THIS BEAN?!?!
But YEAH! Nothing really change much, but he does sing and smile more and probably mutters more than usual.
Also, a small dialog I like to think that might happened in this AU:
Kacchan: Izuku, The "ku" part can also be read as DEKU. A fitting name for a nerd like you nerd!
Deku: Oh!! "Deku" as in like "Dekiru" right? Like "you can do it"? That's amazing Kacchan!!
Kacchan: N-NO!! DEKU AS IN FUCKING USELESS YOU USELESS NERD!!!
Deku: Oh, eh- *Ignores the useless part lmao-*
Kacchan: *Is seething but also blushing because anger!! of course it's anger!!! Not Deku being fucking adorable- nope!*
In this AU Izuku will be more forward with his intentions on befriending his Kacchan-
Also Imagine Izuku fighting and suddenly a fucking glitter canon appears our of nowhere and it is aim AT you. I will run if I were you.
What about OFA?
Technically, Izuku will still be quirkless so he can still get OFA. But he got OFA differently- It doesn't take him saving Kacchan from the sludge villain, but from him using "Deku-sense" to accidentally saving people and having All might finding out about this fact.
Deku in this world is more, accepting of his quirkless status and firmly believes he can be a Hero with what he has. So, All might, kinda observe this weird boy who just so happens to do his job before he could do it.. and he did it in a more, kinder way- Like he would literally just stop a robbery by giving him a cupcake while the villain cry, and Izuku listening to the villain's reason on robbing without judgements. All might as Toshinori will probably also interact with Izuku because Izuku saw Toshinori kind of sitting alone and sad looking so he gave him a cupcake or something. Then the OFA talks just, naturally comes up as Toshinori asked Izuku if he wants to be his successor.
Izuku also, will not keep this quirk a secret to his Kacchan. In this AU, Izuku is somehow will ROPE Kacchan into the OFA secret early. Why? Deku-sense said so. Kacchan stays because he doesn't want the idiot to die or something, and now Toshinori has two sons-/j
Second prompt: Blue diamond🔹💙
Tumblr media
This one is a quirk, but with some bullshit, he still has a toe joint.. where the doctor just diagnosed him as quirkless. He's technically, in the case where there is quirk singularity but I'm not too sure about my knowledge in quirks to actually accurately say shit right now. So when we get to OFA, I'll just say that his quirk is not a quirk bit still a quirk but not really but-
Okay. So, Blue diamond! Her abilities is straight forward, but we'll only focused on the extra empath abilities she have for Izuku. And Tears. Lot's of TEARS.
For this quirk, Izuku isn't aware of his abilities but others does suspect something wrong with him.
When he cries in pain, others will flinch. When he cries in happiness, others will be in pure joy. when he cries in anger, others will be angry FOR him. and when he cries in sadness, others will FEEL his emotional anguish. Of course, no one really connect shit and just assume him crying bring guilt to their fault ass. This is actually the drive that Kacchan needs to be better (We'll talk about that later.)
This ability for Izuku's actually make him a prime person to be easily trusted somehow. Like, other's will trust him no questions ask because when he eventually cries near others, others will know his feelings are genuine.
Tl;dr Izuku brings the best in others by crying✨
What's Kacchan like in this AU?
Being the main tormentor for Izuku's life does brings some perks in a fucked up way. Because the more Izuku cries (even just a little) at Kacchan's mean words, the more Kacchan ask himself if these actions worth anything. He might not like to admit it but when Izuku cries in sadness, he ALWAYS get fucking guilty and starting to question his whole believes earlier. He second guess his ways of being the number one and maybe he changes earlier than canon. Does that make sense?
Kacchan also discover that he.. likes it when Deku cry because he's happy, more than him being sad so he just, do little things to try and apologize early for being a dick. He is rewarded by the feeling of giddiness in his gay ass stomach.
I know that this sounds like Deku is making everyone feel unnecessary shit due to his ability but the ability doesn't actually MAKE people feel unwanted emotions, like how Blue diamond use her powers. Izuku (unconsciously) uses this ability in a such sincere way that the goodness in people's heart actually floats to the surface. I'm not sure if that make sense.. Like, His power brings up the good in people faster because he's always sincere, but not everyone is effected by it.
Izuku is like Steven universe in a sense. He beats evil by his sincerity and kindness. So, technically his power should be named "advanced empathy"??? I'm questioning myself don't worry.. I think a better way of describing this ability is that Izuku breaks other's false mask and touch the hearts of those around him. Does that make sense?
Nothing change much in Izuku's middle school life, but Kacchan's actions torwards Izuku slowly felt like it's forced rather than Kacchan believing that his way of doing things is the way to do it. Like Kacchan clearly wants to change, he's just too prideful still and is confused on HOW to actually change. Still say the infamous line and regrets it more in this AU. This also extend to others that do wrong to Izuku and eventually they stopped bothering Izuku due to the guilty conscious they had. (Other than Kacchan, everyone is a coward to apologized to Izuku during his time in Aldera. Yes I'm probably implying that Kacchan apologized to Izuku during his Aldera years.)
Izuku's goals and personality
Still the same as Canon. Still a nerd, still baby certified and still Izuku. The ones that's effected by the whole ass AU are others AROUND Izuku.
Every time Canon Izuku cries, others WILL be effected in some way. So basically in this AU, Izuku fanon interpretation of "sunshine child" is very much pushed.
Where Pink Izuku is confident and helps other by physically being there, Blue Izuku kinda does this but unintentionally. Pink Izuku will put himself in trouble like canon and being oblivious about the rules he broke (and somehow not get in trouble in the process.) Blue Izuku help others emotionally. I like to see Izuku in this AU actively finding people who is shunned by society by accident and helping them just by being himself. Like maybe he found a random kid crying and Izuku is there to help by listening to their problems.
The more I think about it, Izuku is just steven with blue powers instead of pink... agh fuck it.
This ability will honestly be hilarious when being put in a battle scenario. Just imagine villains starting to have emotional crisis while fighting this green kid and start to be sloppy because of it.
The hilarious part of this AU comes in the form of Villains questioning themselves mid battle and sometimes even goes so far as surrendering themselves because of it. (No, Muscular and Chisaki wasn't one of these Villains.)
What about OFA?
Like I said earlier, this ability may be a quirk but not that strong to the point of OFA getting to a point of drain Izuku's life force when possessing it. (Now that I think about it, I could just not say that this ability is a quirk.. but it won't make sense to my brain.)
Things happened exactly how things happened in canon but one thing does change. All might actually acknowledging what he did at the fucking rooftop and feel the regret right after he crush Izuku's dreams. Because of Izuku's half ass quirk, I like to think that the other factors of OFA got unlocked earlier in the arcs but I'm not sure how exactly..
The way that Kacchan founds out about OFA is the same way as canon but instead of distrusting what Izuku said at the beginning, he believes him instantly. The two journey in this story is more like Kacchan fumbles on being a good friend to Izuku while Izuku is just happy to have Kacchan as his friend again!! DvK 1 and 2 still happens but in a different format. It leans more on Kacchan's feelings than Izuku's quirk issue tbh-
That's the prompts I have living rent free so far- Please tell me if you have a prompt of your own or even better TALK TO ME WITH IT!!! I want to brain rot with anyone who's willing to also brain rot with me. Aight imma try to do my assignment now-
As a separate question, what are your thoughts of bkdk contents on other platforms? I mainly search for bkdk content on Twitter and Tumblr. Reddit is the worst when it comes to bk or bkdk in general.. ugh. Pinterest and Discord is a different thing in general, Instagram algorithm somehow only shows me kr/bk or td/dk where I SPECIFICALLY search and block for bkdk shit. Youtube is alright.

Posting this here just bc I doubt I'll finish this ever
It probably has a lot of writing mistakes and I wrote this months ago instead of sleeping so don't expect anything good :p
Forneus had a simple life. While she was traveling, she would look for food, be it fruits, vegetables or fishes. When she made her stop in her habitual spot from each realm, she would knit something. Be it toys for a few kids she would find on her journeys, or be it some piece of clothing.
And since she was just a friendly traveler, she wouldn't have many issues with each place she went, having sold items for the bishops of the old faith before, and her appearance gave the old Gods some kind of comfort for knowing she wouldn’t do anything drastic. But now, with the bishops gone and the anxiety of who would now rule each place, she sometimes found it hard to travel, especially now.
Forneus wasn't a fool, she was aware that she was aging, but the black cat had her most precious gifts back.
Her children.
When The Lamb and Narinder had brought them back to her, the old cat felt like she was dreaming, touching their faces in an attempt to be reassured that it was real, that she wasn't, yet again, dreaming they were there. Forneus felt alive again that day.
With her kittens back, however, she had to teach them all the things that her mother had taught her once.
And that was what she was doing at the moment.
"Sweetheart, you're going to hurt yourself that way", Forneus said softly to her son, Baal, who was so focused on the yarn that he attempted to turn into some kind of garment. While not looking at her, the gray kitten still paid attention to her words, moving his ears in her direction to show that.
Baal took a quick liking for knitting and sewing, something that impressed his mother. And the interest in it started just as fast, she remembered fondly. The tall cat had awakened before his brother one day, and made his way to their mother, who sat outside their comfortable caravan while knitting. Forneus was sitting comfortable there, stitching the yarn to later turn it into a sweater for one of the children. His eyes followed the object, picking every small detail and curve she was doing with the needles.
He, however, still had a long way on it.
“I can’t make this knot”, he huffed sadly, admitting defeat when he put the yarn and needle on the ground. “You make it seem so easy…”, the young cat sighed and brought his legs close to his chest. Baal felt bad for letting his mom down. After being away for so long, he wanted to desperately make her proud.
But he heard a soft chuckle coming from his side and Baal looked at his mother.
“Oh, sweetie, there’s no need to feel frustrated over this”, she purred softly and rested her paw over his. “You have a lot of time to learn how to do it. Take your time”.
He moved his ears a little bit and he blinked while staring at the ground. Baal was always used to memorizing and then getting things right. Unlike his master and his brother, he never had much patience for these things. He moved his tail back and forth and looked away.
“Let me help you, Baal”, Forneus said while reaching for the needles that were in her son’s paws. His soft dark eyes lighted up with the idea of his mother teaching him something that was so important to her. “First, you
“Oh, sweetie”, she meowed and brought him close to her chest. Even though he was taller than her, Forneus’ hugs always made him feel like a kitten all over again. “I’m already proud of you”.
Baal hugged his mother back, letting her warmth embrace him. He then closed his eyes for a few minutes, feeling the summer sun on his back. Baal huffed and lowered his ears.
“Still”, he murmured. “I’m going to finish this scarf for you”, the black she-cat laughed warmly at her kitten’s stubbornness.
Aym was different from his brother, for he liked to be on his own, away from everyone. Not that he disliked the company of his family; he loved it, but he easily felt overwhelmed around others and would wander off for a while.
It didn’t take him long to get to Pilgrim’s Passage in these walks and to take fishing as a hobby. His family needed to eat anyway, so he assumed it would be a useful hobby to have anyway.
Once a week, Aym would make his way there and sit on the small and old deck. Normally people wouldn’t bother him much there either because he was fishing or because he seemed to never like to be bothered. He never minded the company of his mother, she seemed to always understand his boundaries well and would always have a big smile and a few encouraging words to say to Aym whenever he caught something. It was contagious.
“Aym”, she called from behind him, broughting him back from his thoughts. “Did ye catch something?”, she said softly, a small basket was being held by her big paws. The sweet smell of strawberries that was coming from the basket was enough to make his mouth water.
“No”, he simply murmured. He sounded disappointed at himself and Forneus was quick to pick the hints of it.
“We could go back, my heart”, Forneus meowed softly to him, moving her basket to be held by only her left arm. “And come back tomorrow in the morning when the fishes are fresher”.
“No”, Aym inhaled and then exhaled heavily, feeling the pilgrim’s soft breeze enter and leave his lungs. “I’m going to wait longer”, he said softly and flicked his ear.
The old maine coon looked around. It wasn’t late, and the sun hadn’t even started to set yet. She figured that keeping her child company wouldn’t hurt her old body. And even if it did, she would never trade a change to stay by his side.
So she gave a tired sigh and made her way to the end of the dock and sat down next to Aym. The black cat could feel the soft and salty waves hit her feet and she found herself surprised that she wasn’t as against the feeling of it as she thought she would. It was relaxing.
“You should eat something then”, she said as she gently brought the basket close to him. The cat smiled softly at the other cat that slowly picked the basket, as if waiting for some kind of approval from his mother. Aym was careful to put it on his side

So I finally watched Wish... I have some things I would like to say lol
*spoilers ahead if you haven't seen it yet!*
I think the biggest issue was not focusing enough on the story and the characters. Most of the characters you see aren't their own thing, they're based off of previous Disney characters or tropes. Asha's friends represent the seven dwarfs and Snow White. Asha herself is a play on the princess trope complete with the friendly talking animal sidekick. All throughout the movie they make references to previous movies with the background characters or play on words. It was never given the chance to be its own thing. Just a compilation of inside jokes and references.
It's so sad because Wish had such a good foundation to be something great. It could have been a beautiful romance story with Asha and Star boy, which they scrapped. I don't understand why Disney is so afraid of love stories now.
There are bits here and there that peek through when watching that make you feel like there could be something meaningful there, but they're quickly dashed away with bad humor or a reference.
I loved the idea of Asha becoming Magnifico's (hate his name will refer to him as the king) apprentice and slowly getting closer to the truth of what he does with the wishes herself, but literally 20 minutes into the movie he shows her the wishes (which no one is supposed to see or have access to) and tells her that many wishes will never be granted... like, what? No build up? No mystery? Just straight to the point "I'm gonna tell you why I'm bad and not have it revealed."
Instead of the Shrek storybook opening to tell us the story of the world, it could have started with her applying as apprentice. The Queen giving a little backstory on the long walk up to the study (passing the paintings and mosaics of the king and the wishes). Then the interview scene (without showing her the wishes) she gets the job and the first half hour or so is a montage her working as his apprentice. Learning the ins and out of the palace, maybe hearing some gossip of what the servants think the king does with the wishes. Meanwhile she grows closer with the king till he finally trusts her to see the wishes. Then bring in the grandpa's 100th birthday coming up. Instead of straight up telling her no he should say "I'll see what I can do, but no promises. Not every wish can be granted." That should send Asha on her spiral of why not, but at this point she's seen odd things crack through the kings demeanor to make her wary of questioning him out right.
So she would wait for the wish ceremony. The ceremony can play out the same with his wish not being granted, you could even keep the odd creepy remark the king says to her. Then have the moment of Asha's breakdown, wishing to the stars about it not being fair and everyone's wish should be granted or at least given back so they can try to grant them themselves. Then the star comes down. After meeting he changes his form to mimic Asha as a human. She gives him a name or he tells her his (although I do like Star boy lol) and they talk. Maybe he reveals to her why he came down (something about her wish being pure. Or maybe a thing of like "The stars have been watching and don't like how the king has been hoarding wishes so they sent me to fix it!"). So they set out of the mission of releasing the wishes back to the people. I also really liked the story they had of everything being made of stars so I would keep that in.
On their way to release the wishes they could grow closer, maybe a bubbly inquisitive character for Star boy and more of a serious "stick to the mission" character for Asha. It would also let them into plenty of mischief for Star boy to be amazed at the world he's only seen from afar and let his magic loose by accident.
Maybe Asha sneaks him into her house for the night while they think up a plan for the wishes (could also set up a "parents tease kid about boyfriend" joke lol). While coming up with a plan in her room, Star boy could say something about wishing he had parents (leds Asha to talk more about her father) Star boy could say something like "Oh yeah! I would watch you guys in that tree all the time growing up! It was the only time people were close enough for me to actually see them" (super cute and this conversation could be the starting point of her falling for him. He's probably already in love with her at this point but doesn't know what it is lol).
They make it to the kingdom and Asha sneaks Star boy in as a new servant she's showing around. She's probably already made a friend at this point of working in the castle (I think she should only have 1 or 2, 7 is far too many to focus on in a kids movie when there's already 6 characters at this point) and she lets in the friend(s) on the fact that he's a star, whether by accident or the fact she trusts them so much. They agree to help her sneak in.
At this point we could have the king make his star announcement like in the movie, but Ahsa's friend(s) create chaos on purpose to distract him. Perhaps they already have distrust of the king after working in the castle so long and hearing/seeing odd things (the rumor mill must be insane in a kingdom where only 14 wishes are granted a year meanwhile there are hundreds of citizens, with more arriving everyday). Chaos ensues while Asha and Star boy make it to the kings lab with the wishes.
Maybe they find out he's been experimenting on them to give himself more power, or finding a way to harness the wishes to make the kingdom flourish. In any way what he's doing with them isn't good and it's much worse than Asha originally thought.
Star boy is upset by this and wants to release them all right there, Asha is worried they won't have enough time before the king gets back and only wants to grab her grandpa and mother's wishes. They get into an argument, Asha convinces Star boy that they'll come back another time when they know for sure the king won't catch them. Asha manages to get her grandpa's wish but Star boy gets mad, wanting to release them all now and attempts to destroy the ceiling of the lab. It doesn't work (magic barrier) and he gets hurt. Asha manages to drag him into the dumbwaiter right as the king bursts in angry from the semi-revolting crowd.
Asha gets them back to her house where she gives her grandpa his wish back and heals Star boy (another bonding moment). Turns out Star boy is becoming more human the longer he stays on earth (his magic still works but he's becoming mortal). He says he'll have to return to the stars before it's too late but he doesn't want to leave Asha alone with what they started. It's decided that he'll return after they set the kingdoms wishes free.
Having the king delve into darker magic is such a fun idea. He should already have little cracks letting slip the crazed scientist/sorcerer underneath his benevolent king facade. I think at this point he should break from the paranoia of the star/someone more powerful than him taking over. Put the kingdom on high security. Have every subject be questioned and or inspected to see if they're the traitor (which in turn makes it harder for Asha and Star boy to sneak back in).
When they finally get back into the castle they find the only way they'll be able to get back into the kings lab and have enough time to set the wishes free is during the next ceremony (the same as in the movie, the crowd pressuring the king for another one). Maybe with the help of the queen (again like in the movie she sees his madness and wants to end it) they are able to find the kings spell book and take down the magic barrier and release the wishes. of course the king notices but can't get to the tower where his lab is in time. He uses his magic to slow the wishes from getting back to the people. crazy magic fight sequnce between Star boy and the king.
In the end Star boy is able to defeat the king with the power of the wishes and maybe some help from the other stars in the sky. The wishes are finally returned to the people but Star boy is badly hurt from the kings draining magic. He won't be able to return to the stars this way with most/practically all of his magic drained, in fact his magic is the only thing keeping him alive. So the other stars in the sky take pity on him and heal him as the last of his magic is drained, leaving him completely human. Now he doesn't have to return to the stars and can stay on earth with Asha, the place he's always admired from afar. They kiss? They confess? They rebuild the kingdom together.
The End!
Now isn't that cuter? More time for character development and world building! obviously I didn't delve too far into how everything would work exactly. Mostly some random ideas and thoughts cut and pasted together like some odd collage lol. Maybe this isn't any better but at least it's a stand alone story that doesn't feel like references bad out of place jokes shoved down your throat.
Overall there is so much that could have been done to make the story feel more full and meaningful. Maybe a million other plot ideas I didn't think of. It's not a terrible movie, but it isn't one of the great classic Disney movies either.

Ted - Season 1 (2024) review
Tumblr media
Look, it’s a live-action Family Guy. Let’s not even sugarcoat that fact.
Plot: It's 1993, and Ted the bear's moment of fame has passed. He's living back home with his best friend, John Bennett, and his family. While Ted may be a lousy influence on John, he's a loyal pal who will go out on a limb for friendship.
The Ted movies are enjoyable if a tad forgettable pieces of comedic crudeness. Also they haven’t aged the best, so I was quite apprehensive when I heard that they were making a prequel streaming series based on the property. Originally I was not even planning on watching it, however upon its release on the streaming service Peacock, which by the way has anyone even heard of Peacock?? I swear there are so many streaming services around now that it’s hard to keep up with them all. That Weird Al movie that came out a year ago was on something called Roku. Still have no clue what the fudge is Roku! Can’t we just get these streaming companies to bundle up into one and give us all the content on one singular platform? Now is that too much to ask!? Apparently so. Regardless, with that rant aside, let’s talk about the Ted show.
Indeed it’s a surprise that the Ted series is actually kind of good! It’s a throwback to the 90s American sitcoms, with the show focusing on not only the bear but also on his family living in the suburbs. And each family members gets up to their amusing antics every episode, and though none of it breaks any new comedic ground, I must say this was a very enjoyable and easy watch. For one, this show is actually funny. From the ridiculous scenarios that occur, with Ted and John smoking weed for the first time, to their dad wishing upon a star and bringing his toy truck to life who becomes a Republican racist, to John going to buy a condom at a supermarket where an overly nice shop assistant helps him to pick what kind only to turn out to be a creep who runs away as soon as another shop assistant appears. Look, it’s all ridiculous and stupid, but for the most part a lot of the jokes land.
Also, it’s so easy for the teddy bear to steal the show, and of course Seth Macfarlane is on top form riffing and throwing insulting one-liners left and right, and there’s also so much physical and slapstick comedy that comes from the bear’s movements, from how he runs to the way he stares at people with emotionless eyes. The teddy is great, and also even though he’s crude, he never became tiresome or annoying, whereas in the movies he did get a tad repetitive. However the human characters also get enough development and focus that you warm up to the entire family. The kid that plays John was actually spot on with his Mark Wahlberg impression, nailing the accent, but also as a whole he did a great job having to act mostly next to CGI character. His chemistry with the bear was very good, and you felt their friendly camaraderie. As for the parents, the mum was hilarious as the innocently nice housekeeper who was super naive about everything, and the dad at first came off annoying and selfish, but as the show progressed you warmed up to him too due to the solid writing. Then Giorgia Whigham rounds up the cast as the rebellious cousin who disagrees with the old-school beliefs of the family, but also ends up being a key support to each character.
In terms of the negatives, for a show that’s billed as a sitcom, the episodes were way too long. The premiere alone was 50 mins, and then rest ranged around the 40 minute mark, and so pacing did drag at times. Especially when certain jokes were stretched out longer than they should be, they really should have been kept to around 20 mins. Aside of the pacing issues, this was a solid comedy show.
Ted by no means reinvents the comedic genre, however it’s truly an amusing show that will have you smiling throughout, and turns out to be way better than it had any right to be. Also the special effects on the bear are also really impressive. He really does look like a real talking bear, and the movements were all fluid and well done. So yep, Ted is a win. Here’s hoping for a second season!
Overall score: 7/10

When I asked about whether or not the books became egregious friendship in the later books I was just kidding I didnt expect it to be that bad 😭! Tho, a bit curious, does the graphic novels fell victim to this as well? Does Vi become a friendship god again. I only read the first 3 and I want to continue it but seeing the sudden change of the artstyle makes me not... want to continue it (no offense to the artist but the changes in the comic feels more jarring to me than the main ones)
Well thankfully the friendship thing doesn't show up much in the graphic novels since they're more nature-focused than friendship-focused. So all things considered the comics, though they suffer in narrative quality because of Papercutz calling the shots it's still pretty decent all things consi--
Tumblr media
........ sigh
I'm not gonna get into that many details about it because I can't be bothered with this one, but good lord what an underwhelming send-off to what was a banger comic series. Its moral/theme is basically the teamwork song from Sponge Out of Water, Ryan Jampole's sketches of the panels look especially sketchy in this one (when they were already kinda sketchy, both in an art sense and in the vibe sense), and the only thing we really get from it is Vanilla getting a bit of a conscience and letting the girls have this victory I guess (even though I'm not sure why).
Oh and Trap plushie in Vi's room. N-not sure why she has it, but cool easter egg, I guess?
Issue 7 is the best of the newer ones I'd say, I genuinely liked it. Issue 5 and 6 though... Eeeeehhhhhh, I have mixed feelings about them. The premise is cute, both books gave me platonic!Vicky moments to revel in, Vi got to dish out a verbal smackdown in issue 5, there was a whole espionage mission thing in book 6....... but at the same time you can sense the dip in narrative thought and quality, and a part of you can't help but grieve what could've been. Especially seeing how well the first half was, and that they got Ryan "Jampolinski" Jampole to do the art of issues 5-8.

HOW DO YOU FUMBLE A BAG LIKE RYAN JAMPOLE, PAPERCUTZ???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On second glance they don't look as bad as I remember them being, but there are just some panels that look... off. Or not very expressive. Or just...... Issue 5.
Don't clock him for the coloring, he wasn't the colorist in any of these; buuuutttt yeah :/
Tumblr media
Even the Trap teddy bear is guaranteed to give you mixed emotions because on one hand it looks cute but on the other hand you look at Vi's proportions which makes you notice the proportions of the room which makes you realize the proportions of Vi compared to the room and-- yeahhh. Kinda understand why this is the forgotten child of the Jampolinski art gallery.
Like take a look at his portfolio on Deviantart and his Twitter (who's X? I don't have an ex) and there's literally no sign of his work for the Thea Stilton comics anywhere. I dunno if it's just a contract thing or something else but regardless it's kinda sad :'D
Anyway uh if you do plan on reading issues 5-8, just bear in mind three things:
The story is directed by Papercutz, so it's going to be screaming "THIS IS A KIDS' BOOK WITH KIDS' MORALS AND KIDS' CHARACTERS TALKING LIKE KID-FRIENDLY HAMLET MONOLOGUING ABOUT THE DAY AHEAD OF HIM, DO YOU UNDERSTAND HIS EMOTIONS AND THE LESSON HE'S EXPLICITLY TEACHING RIGHT NOW" the entire way through
Please don't clap Jampole for this, it's kinda embarrassing to come at him for a thing he drew back in like 2017 at earliest and y'know we dunno what happened behind Papercutz's neon orange doors, and also sometimes the forgotten child ought to remain forgotten sooooooo...... yeah, I don't want any trouble, just stating opinions here,,
There will be nuggets of gold panels there-- it wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being (in terms of artstyle), and there are some panels that I genuinely liked! It's just that the emotional range/nuance was just virtually nonexistent, probably because of point 1. There will be nuggets of gold in there, you just gotta sift through a lot of gravel to find it.
Anyway that's what I have to say about issues 5-8, issues 1-4 are goated and 5-8 kinda yeeted the formula of 1-4 out the window and replaced it with.... whatever 5-8 was (minus 7, I gotta reiterate that 7 is the best of the latter four). Aight see ya ^ ^

Home Help Services: The Unexpected Lifeline for Families Caring for Ageing Parents
Tumblr media
If you’re one of the many people in Ireland quietly caring for an ageing parent while juggling work, kids, and everything else life throws your way—first of all, take a breath. You’re doing an incredible job, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. And secondly, you should know this: you don’t have to do it all alone.
For families stretched thin, trying to keep elderly loved ones safe and well at home, home help services have become a quiet lifeline—one that many people don’t realise is available until they’re nearing breaking point. These services aren’t just about ticking off chores; they’re about restoring dignity, routine, and a sense of calm for both the person being cared for and the family around them.
What Are Home Help Services—And What Do They Actually Do?
Home care services are exactly what they sound like: practical, compassionate support that comes to your home, helping with day-to-day tasks that your elderly loved one may no longer be able to manage on their own. But they offer far more than just a tidy house or a warm meal.
A typical home help visit might include:
Assistance with dressing, grooming, or bathing
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal preparation and nutrition support
Help with mobility around the house
Running errands or accompanying someone to appointments
Simply sitting down for a chat—offering companionship and emotional care
Unlike nursing or clinical care, home help services are focused on supporting daily life, helping people remain safe and comfortable in their own homes for as long as possible.
Why Home Help Services Matter More Than Ever
Caring for an elderly parent at home is a beautiful act of love—but it’s also one of life’s biggest challenges. And more and more Irish families are feeling the weight of trying to do it all.
Maybe you’ve noticed your mum is forgetting meals. Or your dad’s struggling to get dressed without help. Or maybe it’s you who’s been doing the helping—before work, after school runs, late into the evenings.
The truth is, family careers across Ireland are exhausted, and many are running on empty long before they ever ask for support.
Home care services step in with that gentle reassurance: You’re not failing by asking for help—you’re building a stronger foundation for everyone involved.
For Elderly Loved Ones: A Comforting, Consistent Presence
For older adults, especially those who may be dealing with mobility issues, loneliness, or the early stages of dementia, small things can quickly become overwhelming.
A home help assistant brings both practical support and emotional reassurance. There’s something powerful about seeing a familiar, friendly face each day—someone who remembers how you like your tea or takes the time to listen as you reminisce about the past.
These services:
Help maintain dignity through respectful personal care
Support independence by encouraging routines and decision-making
Reduce isolation by offering meaningful human connection
And because they happen in the comfort of home, they remove the stress of transitions or unfamiliar environments.
How Home Care Services Support the Whole Family
What’s often overlooked is how these services also support you—the career, the daughter, the son, the spouse. The one doing your best to hold everything together.
Here’s how:
Relief from constant responsibility, giving you time to breathe, rest, and regroup
Confidence in knowing your parent is being well cared for, even when you’re not there
Space to return to being family again, rather than feeling like a full-time caregiver
This isn’t just about ticking things off the to-do list. It’s about restoring balance, rebuilding connection, and making space for joy amid the stress.
Choosing the Right Home Help Provider in Ireland
Not all care is created equal. When inviting someone into your home or trusting them with your loved one’s wellbeing, you need to feel confident they truly care—and are trained to deliver that care with compassion and professionalism.
Here’s what to look for:
Garda-vetted, qualified careers with experience in elder support
Agencies that offer flexibility and tailored care plans
A reputation for warmth, trust, and reliability
Kare Plus Ireland is one such provider, known for delivering personalised home help services that respect the dignity of every client while giving families the support they desperately need. Their team works across the country and tailors services to suit your family’s unique rhythm and needs—whether it’s daily support or a few hours a week.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re feeling stretched, uncertain, or just plain worn out—you are not alone. Thousands of families across Ireland are walking this path. And the sooner you reach out for help, the better it can be for everyone.
Home help services don’t replace your love or your care—they enhance it. They give you back the time, energy, and headspace to focus on the moments that matter.
Reach Out Today and Find the Support You Deserve
If your family could benefit from a helping hand at home, don’t wait until you’re burnt out. Contact Kare Plus Ireland to explore your options and find a care plan that works for your family.
Because caring for your parent shouldn’t come at the cost of your own wellbeing. And with the right support, you can all feel a little more at ease—at home.

Pediatric Ophthalmology: Ensuring Lifelong Vision with Early Eye Care
In today’s world, eye care has become an essential part of overall health, and this is especially true for children. Pediatric ophthalmology is a specialized field that focuses on diagnosing and treating eye conditions in children, from infancy to adolescence. Whether it's for a simple vision test or more complex eye issues, seeking the help of a qualified pediatric eye doctor is crucial for the well-being of a child’s vision.
Why Early Eye Care is Crucial for Children
Vision problems can have a significant impact on a child’s development, affecting their learning, social interactions, and overall quality of life. In fact, many serious eye conditions in children, such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), and refractive errors like nearsightedness, can go undetected for a long time. Early detection and treatment are key to ensuring these issues do not interfere with a child's growth and development.
Routine eye exams should begin early in a child's life, and pediatric ophthalmology provides a comprehensive approach to managing eye health from infancy through the teenage years. This proactive approach helps in identifying conditions that could otherwise be missed. For instance, an infant eye specialist can spot early signs of congenital eye conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed until they become more severe.
The Role of a Pediatric Eye Doctor
A pediatric eye doctor is not just a general eye care specialist; they are specifically trained to address the unique challenges and concerns that come with diagnosing and treating eye conditions in children. A kids eye doctor near me understands how to engage young patients in a way that makes them feel comfortable and at ease, making eye exams a more positive experience.
Pediatric ophthalmologists are equipped to handle a variety of eye conditions, ranging from minor vision problems to more severe or rare eye diseases. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can prevent these conditions from worsening or leading to permanent vision loss. Whether it’s for common conditions like nearsightedness or more complex issues such as cataracts or retinal problems, pediatric ophthalmologists provide essential care.
Common Pediatric Eye Conditions
Strabismus: Also known as crossed or misaligned eyes, strabismus occurs when the eyes do not work together properly. This can affect depth perception and can lead to amblyopia if left untreated.
Amblyopia (Lazy Eye): This condition happens when one eye does not develop proper vision, often due to strabismus or a significant difference in refractive error between the two eyes. If diagnosed early, amblyopia can often be treated successfully.
Refractive Errors: Conditions like nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism can affect a child’s ability to see clearly. Early intervention with glasses or contact lenses can help correct these issues and improve a child’s vision.
Congenital Cataracts: Some babies are born with cataracts, which cloud the eye’s lens and impair vision. Early detection is crucial to treat the condition and prevent long-term vision loss.
Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP): Premature infants are at risk for ROP, a condition in which abnormal blood vessels grow in the retina. If not detected and treated early, ROP can lead to blindness.
Color Blindness: While not a condition that impacts sharp vision, color blindness can affect a child's ability to identify and differentiate colors, which could have implications for learning and daily activities.
Finding the Right Pediatric Eye Care Near You
Parents often search for a "pediatric eye doctor near me" or "kids eye doctor near me" when they suspect their child may have vision problems. If you're in Delhi, Shroff Eye Centre is one of the leading clinics that specialize in pediatric ophthalmology. With highly trained specialists and a child-friendly environment, we ensure that your child’s eye health is in good hands.
In many cases, finding a pediatric ophthalmologist close to home can make the process of seeking care less stressful for both the child and the parents. Whether you are looking for a routine eye check-up or suspect a more serious issue, it's important to choose a pediatric ophthalmologist who is experienced and capable of providing a personalized care plan.
If you're searching for an "eye pediatric" professional who offers specialized care for infants and children, look for someone who is specifically trained in pediatric ophthalmology. Infant eye specialists are key in identifying and managing conditions such as congenital cataracts, retinal issues, or other vision-related concerns that may affect infants and young children.
How Pediatric Ophthalmologists Help in Child Development
Early eye care is critical not only for ensuring proper vision but also for supporting a child's development. Good vision is essential for learning, physical activities, and emotional growth. When vision problems are identified early and treated appropriately, children are able to perform better in school and have more positive social interactions.
Tumblr media
For children with special needs or developmental delays, eye care is especially important. A pediatric ophthalmologist will work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure that vision-related issues do not interfere with the child’s overall development. The goal is to provide a comprehensive approach that addresses both the medical and developmental needs of the child.
The Importance of Regular Eye Exams
It is recommended that children have their first eye exam at six months of age, followed by additional exams at age three and before entering school. Routine eye exams help identify problems early on, even before the child is old enough to recognize that something is wrong. If you have concerns about your child’s vision, be sure to consult a pediatric eye doctor near you.
While children may not always be able to articulate vision issues, certain signs can indicate that something is wrong. These include squinting, rubbing eyes frequently, holding books or screens very close to the face, or complaints of headaches or tired eyes. If you notice any of these signs, don’t hesitate to contact a pediatric ophthalmologist.
Conclusion
Ensuring the health of a child’s eyes is one of the most important aspects of their overall well-being. Pediatric ophthalmology is an essential field that addresses the unique needs of young patients, offering a path to clear, healthy vision for life. At Shroff Eye Centre, our team of specialists is committed to providing the highest quality care for your child’s vision, from infancy through adolescence. Regular check-ups with a pediatric eye doctor can ensure that any potential vision problems are identified and treated early, supporting your child’s growth, development, and quality of life.

Benefits of Using a Medicinal Garden Kit for Home Gardening
Tumblr media
A medicinal garden kit is a simple and convenient way to start growing your own herbs and plants that have healing properties. Whether you’re dealing with a small cut, a headache, or just want to relax, a medicinal garden can be super helpful. At Bagwani Nursery, we believe that everyone can benefit from having a few medicinal plants right in their backyard or even on their balcony. Let’s explore the benefits of using a medicinal garden kit for home gardening.
 1. Easy Start for Beginners
One of the best things about using a medicinal garden kit is that it makes gardening easy, even for beginners. These kits come with everything you need to get started, including seeds, soil, and instructions. You don’t have to worry about finding the right type of seeds or figuring out how to plant them. The kit guides you step by step, making it a simple and fun project for anyone, even if you’ve never gardened before.
 2. Grow Your Own Natural Remedies
Medicinal plants have been used for thousands of years to help heal the body and mind. With a medicinal garden kit, you can grow plants like aloe vera, mint, chamomile, and lavender, which have natural healing properties. Aloe vera, for example, is great for treating burns and cuts. Mint can help with digestion, and chamomile is known for calming anxiety and helping with sleep. Having these plants at home means you can use natural remedies instead of relying on store-bought products.
 3. Save Money on Health Products
Instead of spending money on medicines or creams, you can grow your own healing plants at home. Many of the plants in a medicinal garden kit can be used to make teas, ointments, or even oils that help with different health issues. Over time, growing your own herbs can save you a lot of money because you won’t need to buy these products from the pharmacy or health store.
 4. Helps You Connect with Nature
Gardening is a great way to connect with nature, and growing medicinal plants is especially rewarding because you’re nurturing plants that can actually improve your health. Taking care of these plants helps you appreciate the natural world and understand how plants can benefit our well-being. Spending time in your garden can also give you a break from technology and the fast pace of life, making it a peaceful and calming activity.
 5. Fresh Herbs Anytime
With a medicinal garden kit, you’ll always have fresh herbs at home. Whether you need some mint for tea or a lavender sprig to help you relax, you can simply pick what you need right from your garden. Fresh herbs are not only more flavorful, but they’re also more effective than dried herbs because they retain more of their essential oils and nutrients.
 6. Supports Sustainable Living
When you grow your own medicinal plants, you’re taking a step toward living more sustainably. Instead of buying plastic-packaged creams or medicines from the store, you’re using plants grown right in your own garden. This reduces waste and lowers your carbon footprint because you don’t have to rely on products that are shipped from far away. It’s an eco-friendly way to take care of yourself and the planet.
 7. Fun and Educational for All Ages
Medicinal gardening is a fun and educational hobby for people of all ages. Kids can learn about plants and their healing properties, which can spark an interest in science and nature. Adults can explore new ways to stay healthy naturally. Plus, tending to the plants can be a relaxing activity that the whole family can enjoy together. Watching your plants grow and using them to make teas or creams is not only fun but also gives a sense of accomplishment.
 8. Reduces Stress and Boosts Mental Health
Gardening is known for its stress-relieving benefits. When you’re tending to your medicinal plants, you’re focusing on something calming and rewarding. This can help take your mind off daily worries. Plus, many of the plants you’ll grow, like lavender and chamomile, have calming properties that can reduce anxiety and help you sleep better. Being around plants can boost your mood and mental well-being.
 9. Improves Air Quality at Home
Medicinal plants like basil, mint, and aloe vera not only have healing properties but also help purify the air in your home. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which improves indoor air quality. Some medicinal plants can also filter harmful toxins from the air, making your home environment healthier.
 10. Personalizes Your Health Care
Using a medicinal garden kit allows you to personalize your health care. Instead of using generic store-bought products, you can grow specific plants that suit your needs. If you often have digestive issues, you can grow peppermint. If you have trouble sleeping, you can grow chamomile or lavender. This makes your garden a customized source of natural health solutions, right at your fingertips.
 11. Low Maintenance and Convenient
Medicinal plants are generally easy to care for, which makes them a great choice for home gardeners. Most medicinal plants don’t require a lot of space, water, or special care. Whether you have a big backyard or just a small windowsill, you can grow a medicinal garden with ease. Many kits are designed to be low-maintenance, so you don’t have to spend hours each day tending to the plants.
