Very fun piece, just super time consuming! I did all hatching by hand and it took over 50 hrs on the line work alone. I originally was going to render but rendering was so frustrating I dropped the piece for like a month then came back. I ended up coming back because I listened to Butcher Vanity and it got me in the mood. I'd probably add more blood but I'm tired and I wanna post.

This is kind of low effort, Satan is supposed to be a bit smaller, but i won't fix it now

A divine judge really shouldn't have the Sin of Wrath as his wife

🗡️🍷Their lore and designs are still in development, but here's some

Lore facts:

- Satan is abusive and power hungry. The abuse is unsuccessful, since Abaddon is built like a 8'2 ft wall (he's 250cm tall)

- Abaddon looks scary, but is actually semi-easy to influence

- Satan can latch onto him and partially control him

- Abbadon was an angel, while Satan was a mortal before they became demons

- Satan is actually a healer (heals via blood magic and may even temporarily revive people, perfect on battlefields). Her weapon/artifact is a chalice

- Abaddon can read minds/memory via eye contact. Can also manipulate souls and use astral fire (angel magic)

- Abaddon's sword is made of magic. He can summon it from the hole in his chest

- Abaddon's armor is made of his own bones, and grows out of his body. It regenerates if damaged, so it's difficult to hurt him

- Satan doesn't wear clothes due to body structure, and looks like she's entirely made of meat. Everything that looks like clothes is actually her flesh

- They both fought Vicer back when he was just a sentient plague instead of a demon 🍄

Achilles & Patroclus (2021)

Of all the art I've made, this is one of my most beloved pieces. I also created a plate version for a double-sided acrylic standee that had one side in the red-figure and the other in black-figure style painting.

Also I've never really spoke about it before, but I always wanted to make a Hector and Andromache piece to pair with this. Never got around to it, but maybe one day I will.
