Summary:

When True Blood hit the market, and vampires came out of hiding, Steve thought nothing of it. He bought a case for his restaurant and left it to gather dust in the cellar. But then someone started killing his waitstaff and neighbors, and Steve had to investigate. In the middle of it all, he was still trying to understand why it suddenly seemed like every vampire in town wanted to ask him out on a date, including the enthralling and influential Tony Stark.

So excited that my 2020 @marveltrumpshate fic is finally complete! It was a lot of fun to write this for thewaythatwerust and share it with you all.

nanowrimo progress for those who care! i'm finishing wips instead of doing one new thing, and so far...

made par every day (today we haven't started yet) and averaged over 2k words/day

finished the first draft of To Admire and to Adore, which is To Hive and to Hold's sequel (original)

written 4 500-word ficlets in a day (various fandoms)

finished the first draft of my MTH2020 fic, To Arms, which is a WinterIron Witcher AU with (oh, the hubris of past me) fight scenes and a lot of wordcount-padding porn (MCU/Witcher fusion)

worked on a short Steddie future/modern AU where rockstar Eddie calls for some help and gets concierge Steve for his troubles, which will also be at least half porn (Stranger Things)

Once the Steddie is done (today), tomorrow I shall work on the 4th Consulting Magic aka Julian book, which is barely started and will definitely NOT get done this November.

Steve Rogers x Tony Stark - A Cabin In The Woods.

Steve frowned and thought, only a little aggravated, that he should have just let Tony rent them the private island like he wanted.

Down in the valley, the lights went off, all of Grand going dark at once as if someone had flipped a giant switch.

Steve braced both hands against the railing and scanned the rest of the valley. There were only a handful of lit areas and he watched them blink out as well, not quite in succession, but flickering out within seconds of each other until the entire valley looked empty and abandoned.

Power failure, Steve thought, but his gut was already churning and he drew in a sharp breath. He had no idea what he’d been expecting to happen, but something told him it had already started.

“Phone’s out,” Tony said from behind him. “No signal on either phone. Considering I can see a cell tower on the next mountain over, I’m going to go out on a limb and say something’s up.”

At the far end of the deck, something moved. It was darkness in shadows, black on black and he lost track of it as soon as he tried to focus.

“Something’s out here with us.” He took two quick steps backwards, reaching out behind him. His hand found the warm skin of Tony’s arm and closed around it. “Back inside, quickly. Stay behind me.”

After Tony's unknown stalker takes it too far, however, Bucky is moved from the role of bodyguard to fake boyfriend to make sure Tony is kept safe at all times. I’ve finished a very lovely quilted pillow showcasing Iron Man for @marveltrumpshate 2020!  My bidder loves Tony Stark so I was able to use two separate fabric prints in the center and then some additional Avengers fabric framing the center.  Finally, it might be hard to see but each square has a special stitch in different colors around it. 

My bidder was able to pick from my large stash of Marvel/Avengers fabric and chose two sides that are different in tone and color, but both look fantastic!  It’s given me so many ideas for MTH2021, even though we haven’t even hit the end of December yet!
