Had an amusing interaction on the bus today. Thought I might share.

Me: (thinking) Hmmm... I hate liberals.

[The bus is packed. Full of people staring out the window and looking at their phones instead of communicating. Instead of living in the moment.]

Me: Could this day get any worse?

[Just then, the bus driver turns on the radio... Run the World. Beyonce.]

Me: *gags*

[Nobody speaks up. Some of the liberals even start bobbing their heads along.]

Me: This is gonna be a looooong ride.

[Suddenly, a scraggly kid in the back stands up. Blue hair. Beanie. Nose ring. Clearly a liberal. He struts up to the front of the bus before tapping the bus driver on the shoulder.]

Bus Driver: *turns around* Huh?

Beanie Kid: Turn that racket off, and try this on for size.

[He reaches into his coat, producing an unmarked CD. The bus driver hesitates, but takes the disk as it becomes clear this kid won't take no for an answer. Calm as can be, the kid turns around and returns to his seat.]
