I promise I will stop talking about this after this (for a while at least) but can you imagine Marya -not- being in a romantic relationship with every woman on the ship?

Marya and Van spent time in the captains quarters together trying to figure shit out. Monty would bring them coffee sometimes if it was a really long night. They were quiet so that Pappy and Comfrey both got to sleep, but they often stayed up in a different room or Comfrey would help while Pappy slept.

Marya treated Ludmila like a little sister. A young scrappy, sky-eyed girl, who wanted to study and fly. Marya teaches her everything she knows, and makes sure to keep away any men that get a little too close to Ludmila.

Marya feels an obligation to Olethra, another scrappy, star-eyed young girl who looks up to her. She is MacCleods little kitten, the one she always heard so much about. Of course she curls at the end of the bed with her, she shares her space, protects her from fireworks, worries about a possible kill switch, no matter how far fetched.

I know y'all hate the idea but what if Marya is straight? Or even better what if she does like women, and she never took the time for a wife because she married the sky. What if her relationships are all platonic, and she never found someone who could keep up with her and who she saw as romantic.

Christmas In Warrior Emblem Chapter 09: Warrior Axe Wielders Are Pulled to An Forested Area

The group continued to March toward the temple to end Male Warrior Grima. Warrior Lissa is suddenly pulled to the side.  Warrior Henry tries to save her but then Warrior Frederick, Warrior Cherche, and Warrior Camilla also start being pulled to the same side.

Then Light Male Robin says “The Pull toward those 4 Is a Forested Area Under Attack by A Bunch of Warrior Grimleal.  They are the only 4 who can handle this situation.”

Warrior Lissa says “Warrior Henry, I want to go since this is something I have to do.”

“I Understand.” Warrior Henry says and lets her go.

“Let's go too, Warrior Cherche.  Warrior Camilla you better come be Warrior Lissa's Support.” Warrior Frederick says.

“Got it.  We'll be back.” Warrior Camilla says.

They battled the area and Ran into a Warrior Lucina Imposter, Warrior Cordelia Imposter, And Warrior Lissa Imposter.

Warrior Lissa says “You dare Impersonate Me! You are getting the axe.”

Warrior Camilla handled the Warrior Lucina Imposter and Warrior Frederick plus Warrior Cherche handled The Warrior Cordelia Imposter.  When The Warrior Lissa Imposter Opened Her Fort, Warrior Lissa ran in partnered With Warrior Camilla and they did a dual Warrior special finishing the mission with a S-Rank.

The four of them are pulled back to the army.

“What's with the pout, Warrior Lissa?” Warrior Henry says.

“The leader of the Grimleal Attack was A Warrior Lissa Imposter.” Warrior Camilla says.

“So they can copy us now.” Warrior Chrom says.

“Specifically the base game Awakening characters of Fire Emblem Warriors plus Owain are the ones being copied here by Grimleal And Risen.” Light Male Robin says.

“Interesting.” Warrior Owain says.

“Also a little creepy.” Warrior Inigo says.

“Oh I forgot Warrior Inigo and Warrior Soliel as they represent the Rowan And Lianna Representatively.”

“Ah great.” Warrior Inigo says.

“At Least I am not copied because I hate for Risen version of me.” Warrior Severa says.

Warrior Owain and Warrior Inigo say “Agreed because you're scary enough.”

“What's That supposed to mean, you two?” Warrior Severa says.

“Just think about how you normally are toward most people.” Warrior Reflet says, trying to save her husband.

Warrior Severa says “Got me there.”

Yeah like the “You were my brother” and not “You are my brother” says that they were crewmates for a while - as a note, it would be anachronistic if they were on an airship if the Regular Air Balloon is a new invention, or that Aeronauts existed prior to Comfrey MacCleod and she wasn’t amongst the first - I’m guessing that young Daisuke was far more dark and personally motivated before he met Comfrey.

Goldbeard didn’t do something, Daisuke isn’t getting justice or making a statement. His crewmate just has a lot of Money and he wants it, so he killed him for it.

Ik that Goldbeard was something of a throwaway joke but like...there is so much we can extrapolate from this...what if- what if I read far too much into Goldbeard, he was Daisukes' brother, he kept all his gold in a cave, he was a pirate (?) There's so much lore for this guy

one of steve’s favorite things to do on a sunday afternoon was grab a cup of coffee at a local café and peruse the little shops and stores in town. he was always looking for unique art or interesting pieces of furniture to decorate the house he rented with his best friend.  he didn’t have much money, so he couldn’t spend a lot, but he liked to look nonetheless.  

there was an antique store on the corner of street that had a great window display which he was automatically drawn too.  the bell chimed when he opened the door and his eyes grew bigger at the wondrous sight.  the floor boards creaked as he walked in and he was instantly in love with the homey appeal of the place.  “hello?” he called out, eyes searching around for the shopkeeper, but he saw no one.  he walked in a little further and gently picked up a Fabergé egg from a shelf. It was beautiful with it’s intricate patterns and colors -- it was also very expensive.

11th June 2023 The annual Remembrance Service to honour soldiers from the Irish Regiments took place at The Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.

The parade was led by the Pipes and Drums of the London Irish Rifles.

The London Irish Rifles (LIR) became part of the London Regiment. In 2022 they were absorbed into the Irish Guards.

Personal note:

My first personal interaction with the LIR was in 1999, when Major Jim MacCleod invited me to accompany the cadets on a visit to Ypres.

During this trip I met two remarkable men. The first was an LIR veteran in his 80's, Jack (or maybe it was Jim). He joined the army as a young man... and the army became his wife and life! The second was a 14 year old piper, who's name I unforgivably can not recall right now, although I think it was also James. He was not a member of the cadets, just the band. He volunteered to go on this trip and lead the cadets as they marched to the memorial parade at the Menin Gate. He did not know the other teenage lads in the cadets, and was a little uncomfortable with the thought of sharing the dormitory style accommodation with the other boys. After a short discussion, it was agreed that Piper James would share a twin-bedded room with Veteran Jack. I had a room to myself opposite theirs. I was very grateful that the young piper did not decide to practise his bagpipe playing while I was trying to sleep!

Over the following five years, I joined the Pipes and Drums of the LIR on several trips, including the 2004 Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph.
