Turns out, even a Soul Jam split between multiple cookies will awaken....

Or, a silly little AU I've been concocting for a couple months now! Gonna make a rp blog at some point but I at least wanna wait until the Eternal Sugar / Hollyberry updates finish!

The basic premise of the AU is simple: as a token of goodwill/trust/etc, most of the Ancients give a small peace of their Soul Jam to their most trusted allies.

Overtime, it just becomes second nature. A mark of how much trust they have on their shoulders, a way for the rulers to always know who they can trust.

And then Beast-Yeast happens. Turns out, when the Ancients themselves gained their awakened forms, the same happened to the cookies holding those small fragments....

And chaos ensues, because 2/3s of the Abundance holders should be dead and are Not, one of the Resolution holders has no fucking clue what's happening, and both Truth holders just woke up and have been transformed overnight with no word from Pure Vanilla in weeks

Light of Truth -

Although it wasn't until he lost his memories, Pure Vanilla did hand out two small fragments of his Soul Jam.

One to Black Raisin, even before he regained those precious memories. One as a gift to the leader he trusted to keep the village safe throughout it all.

One to Strawberry Crepe, as a peace offering. What harm could come if he indulged in the child's curiously just this once?

Crepe was a design I always had in mind, with small physical changes! They now have pretty magic freckles, lights glinting in the hair, and various other little stuff!!! I really just enjoyed the idea of the subtle stuff for them!

(I also like to imagine that they're now able to read the Soul Jams, and have an internal sense of if someone is lying or not)

Black Raisin gets wings :3 It's kinda hard to work with just the sprite, but they're white chocolate, as a reference to chocolate cover raisins!!! And honestly the hair was just because the wings felt a bit bland, so the idea of the Light of Truth taking over her hair was an idea that I figured looked awesome!!

Also the Crows and her can communicate without any hesitation. She just starts chirping to chat with a random crow in the middle of a meeting. does not realize this is happening

Light of Resolution -

Long before he closed the kingdom off, Dark Cacao gave his most trusted soldiers their own chip of his Soul Jam, trusting that they'd understand what it meant.

And understand they did. Crunchy Chip made sure that even among the coldest nights and hardest training sessions, that gem stayed safe. Caramel Arrow, even while exiled, treasured the shard of something precious with her life.

Dark Choco, on the other hand, only gained his due to sheer luck. Affagato had gotten his hands on the small chip of Soul Jam that had originally been reserved for the prince, and lost it in the wilderness. Dark Choco just happened to be in the right place to find it.

For the designs, I. honestly I wasn't sure how exactly the best way about changing them up would be. Aside from making Crunchy Chip a furry. that was a given lol

Tbh Crunchy Chip was kind hard to figure out a design for, but in the same vein as Carrow, I think at lot of the changes Awakening brought were in his instincts and shit. mans will know if you're acting shifty from a mile away

It's a bit hard to see, but Dark Choco has some draconic traits! Claws, tail, horns, and some scales on his face! Honestly I just liked the idea of him echoing his father a bit through that :D

Carrow my beloved I couldn't find much to change up about your design because in my head most of the changes were magic in nature. Just know that all her arrows are 100% magical now and will never miss any target. and small trails of purple magic follow them. please see the vision

Light of Abundance -

Mozzarella was always a candidate for this role, being one of Golden Cheese's most trusted allies. Golden Cheese thought the shard of her Soul Jam had died with her friend, but it turns out things didn't go exactly as she assumed...

Burnt Cheese, in the same vein as Mozzarella, was assumed to have died alongside the shard he was given. Until Smoked Cheese misplaced the Soulcheese's after defeating Burning Spice.

Smoked Cheese, by all means, should NOT have been given a fragment of untold power. But Golden Cheese saw something in him that caused her to pause. Maybe it was a small reflection of herself, maybe the hope that it'd placate him. Whatever the reason, when the Goddess of Eternal Gold regained her wings, her adviser as gained a pair of his own.

Smoked Cheese gets wings!! I liked the idea of him having smaller, but very capable, wings!! Some of his outfit was shifted to a more gold color, and the purple smoke is also gold! (this will be a theme)

Mozzarella gets cool horns! I also adored the idea of her Soul Jam fragment taking the place of the cheese slice on her head piece!!! I then proceeded to (attempt to) make it look like she was sprinkled in gold dust!!!!

Burnt Cheese... I'm so sorry my guy I had like no ideas ;-; I did end up giving him a small tail, and made him look like parts of his cape/head piece were coated in gold! Again I'm sorry Burnt Cheese fans I didn't know what to do for his designs ;-;

Card Wars 2025 Kickstarter Launched

Cryptozoic have launched the Kickstarter for Card Wars 2025. Within minutes it passed its initial goal of $100,000, so it's already set to enter production.

This project introduces five new packs of cards:

Flame Princess vs. Fern collector's pack.

Prismo vs. The Lich collector's pack.

Peppermint Butler vs. Magic Man collector's pack.

Lands of Legend booster collection.

A "stretch goals box" of Kickstarter-exclusive cards.

Pledging $75 gets you all of those except for the Lands of Legend booster pack, which can be obtained as an addon or by pledging for higher tiers. There is also, of course, the usual slew of bonus knick-knacks, including playmats and a very pricey BMO-shaped token holder. I'm sure there will be more to follow as the stretch goals are met.

Additionally, if you missed out on the 10th Anniversary Kickstarter, the Ultimate Collection of all the old cards is available as an addon in this campaign for $90 which is actually pretty good value for money. That includes all the cards from the original six collector's packs plus the For the Glory booster pack and the Kickstarter exclusives from the 10th Anniversary campaign.

The campaign concludes on the 27th of February. The current plan is for fulfillment to begin in December 2025.

REMEMBER: Backing a campaign on Kickstarter isn't the same as buying something. There's always a chance that the product won't be made and you won't get anything. Be mindful of this before pledging your money.

While watching the latest episode of Cherry Magic, it dawned on me that the show does a wonderful job of using different love languages to make the audience feel the amount of love within the office, both romantic and platonic. The series highlights this part of itself through the way characters reflect on and outright bring up different ways of expressing love — but what I loved most is just how ever present it is. Cherry Magic, to me, is about all of the ways people express their love for each other.

A main one is obviously acts of service. Karan is the only one in the office who picks up on the amount of acts of service Achi is performing for the entire office. He keeps things running smoothly, unspoken and unnoticed, and he is always performing acts of service for people. Achi stays longer for people. He helps. He wants to do these things for people, out of kindness, and that is part of what Karan loves and cherishes about Achi.

Likewise, Karan expresses his love for Achi through acts of service, and it is the acts he performs which make Achi sorely feel his absence when he’s gone. The inclusion of the post-it note of times of the day Karan does things simply for Achi, like bringing down the blinds, further exemplifies this. Love is expressed through the small, consistent actions of care that our leads afford each other.

And it isn’t just our leads. What the greater series loves to highlight is the greater community within the main cast, and how they want to help each other. In this episode, for example, we see Pai talk about why she wants to help Achi in whatever way she can. Everyone in the office wants to help each other! To put in the effort to care.

Then there’s gift-giving, which is also used a ton. In this last episode, we see Jinta absolutely delighted over a small gift Min gives him. A book. This is framed as part of the dating how-to steps, and played comedically, but it also reveals how the series itself uses gifts very often.

Karan brings Achi small, considerate gifts with a lot of earnest feelings behind it. He brings him drinks, snacks, and whatever else he can think of, because he loves him. And gifts, little tokens of affection, mean a lot. The show makes great use of objects, like pens in a pen holder or a small origami keepsake of a boat ride to physically show the courtship between the main characters.

Words of affirmation is also highlighted by the story itself. It’s Achi’s words, understanding the effort Karan puts in, that makes him fall in love with him. And it’s through Karan’s words about Achi that he can feel good about himself. Being recognized by someone else, seen in all of your strengths, is important, not only for showing love, but for being affirmed as a person. The main cast all come to adore each other. We can see the way Rock admires Pai’s spirit, or the way all of the co-workers never fail to bring each other up. And we can see the important of words of affirmation in moments like Karan talking about just how great Achi is, even when he won’t see it himself.

Time is needed for connection. It’s always needed between people, and I see it as the currency that people deal in most of all. Everything needs time, and as such, we can see quality time through the ways the characters seek out each other’s time. This is probably the least noticeable, in a sense. But the series does make each opportunity to be together, every moment of joy through being with someone else, whether it’s one person or a group, feel special.

And of course, to top it off, touching people is highlighted perfectly because of the nature of the mind-reading powers. A slight brush of the shoulder. A hug. Touching hands when picking something up. Every small moment of romantic tension through physical touch, or every touch revealing greater community, is all significant to the story. By nature of the premise, touch is dramatized, made huge in each moment for the characters. A slight lean.

A hug. When Karan and Achi finally connect on their feelings, and Achi responds in realization of his own feelings, they hug, and it is all about the way they touch. The closeness. And that is a pure expression of love. The love they have for each other, and how sometimes, there is no need for thoughts. There’s just joy.

Cherry Magic is really skilled at utilizing different forms of love and care for people. Of course, most love stories have characters who use all of these, but I felt like highlighting this series because of how every small action contributes to it in a way that feels very special. Being giddy over being handed over a pen holder. The slight bump of shoulders. Heating up the water. Breathing in the presence of the people in your life. A kind word.

That’s a part of the joy I breathe in when I watch the show. It’s the joy of loving and being loved.

A Day in the Life- Roka

This is a little story for an OC of mine. If you didn't see her introduction, you can find it here. Enjoy!

She hauls herself up from the thin mattress, groaning softly as she rises. Her joints protest, crying from their lack of rest, but she pushes on. She’s got work to do. 

She brushes aside the thin layers of fabric acting as makeshift curtains and steps out into the room. The small orbs of magic shed dim light that glistens off of smooth mud walls, and she squints reflexively, eyes taking their sweet time to adjust. Her house- well, burrow- is small, almost cramped for a demon of her size. She has just enough space to walk from her bed to the entrance with a nook carved out for her few personal effects. A thin wooden bar to hang her clothes, an old metal bowl that acts as a jewelry holder, and her phone tossed carelessly on the tiny shelf. She vaguely remembers dropping it there last night before stumbling into bed, and she inspects it carefully for any damage. Thankfully, she doesn’t find any cracks, so she brushes the dust from it and slips it into her pocket, the weight dragging her sweatpants down against her hips.

She stretches her arms upwards, as much as she can without colliding with the ceiling, and her nose wrinkles. Is that stench really coming from her? At this rate, half the Devildom will be able to smell her.

She snatches a slightly more presentable outfit from its hangers along with a small stick of soap and tucks it in a secure bundle under her arm. She trudges up the sloping tunnel leading to the surface, the late morning moonlight glaring harsh against her dark eyes. A few other demons are milling about, all keeping their heads down, just like her. In this part of the city it's best to mind your business, and she has always been more than happy to oblige.

She gives a curt nod to the demon staffing the communal showers, flashing him her membership token. He glances up, recognizing her more than the token, and nods back. She pokes her head around the corner, searching for an open door in the long hallway. The showers are packed at this time, demons scrambling to get in before the hot water runs out. She darts into the nearest open room and locks the door behind her. She strips quickly and places both sets of clothes on the narrow shelf, then braces herself for the torrent of cold water as she twists the knob.

Her body shudders as the water rushes over her broad shoulders and covers her torso. Fuck, she hates water. Her instincts are pulling her away from it, but she soldiers on and lathers up with the soap, trying to move as quickly as possible. She rinses the soap bubbles, letting the water saturate her hair at the same time. The water finally starts to warm up, and she lets her muscles relax for just a moment.

A noise startles her from her lulling thoughts. “Fucking cocksuckers, let me in!” a shout sounds from the building’s entrance. She hears someone start to rattle the locked doorknobs of the shower stalls one by one and sighs. The angry muttering and curses flow from the demon’s lips. “Pieces of shit, can’t ever get a fucking room every time I come in here, don’t even know why I pay for the fucking membership.” She decides now might be a prudent time to finish her shower. She has things to do anyways.

She dries with the thin towel provided and bundles up her things. The door creaks as she opens it and pads out, trying to shake the last droplets off of her feet. She keeps her eyes down as she walks past the angry demon, not awake enough to want a fight. “Hey.” Her eyes stay trained on the floor. “Hey, I’m talking to you.” She stops in her tracks, still facing ahead. “What, you’re not even gonna look at me? C’mon, I waited so long for that shower stall. You might as well be polite to the demon whose space you were taking up.” She finally turns, taking in the sight of the tall, skinny demon, swaying slightly on his feet. The stench of alcohol floods her nose just as she notices his pupils blown wide and his flushed skin. From the looks of his gleaming red eyes, a gluttony demon. She was almost expecting a wrath demon, but she guesses anyone can be an angry drunk.

He gives her a smile, one missing a few teeth, with the remaining ones a dingy yellow. “What, no ‘hello’? No ‘thank you’?” The hair on the back of her neck bristles. She’d hoped he would leave her well enough alone, but it seems like he’s determined to get some kind of reaction out of her. “Just take your fucking shower,” she spits, and turns to leave. 

She gets three steps before she feels a hand whiff by her arm as he tries to grab her and misses. She feels the glands in her throat pulse, and the venom creeps up the ducts in the roof of her mouth. Frustrated with trying to turn her around, the demon steps in front of her, blocking her way out. She opens her mouth, trying to think of another way to warn him off, when his eyes widen.

The acrid scent of her venom is creeping around them, permeating the air they breathe. His eyes lock onto the tiny clear droplet slowly beading up at the very tip of her fang. “Yeah. Yeah, I’ll go take the damn shower,” he jeers, but the malice has drained from his voice. She walks past him, her shoulder slamming into his and nearly sending his body stumbling into the wall. 

The sky glows dimly as she makes her way out into the streets. The cool air washes over her skin, a welcome contrast to the stuffy showers. She’s not sure how the demons working there aren’t growing mold somewhere.

She settles her bundle of clothes in a pile near the mattress, replacing her stick of soap back in its spot on the shelf. She squirts a hefty glob of mousse into her palm and spreads it through her hair, closing her eyes for a moment at the soothing tugging against her scalp. Her fingers comb through the tangled mess of curls piece by piece, starting at the ends and slowly working their way upwards. The sweet artificial scent makes her nose wrinkle, smelling awkwardly out of place in her home carved from the ground. 

Once her hair is mostly separated into strands instead of one ominous mass, she scrunches the curls up in her hands to make them just a bit bouncier (a trick she wishes she’d known several decades ago) before pulling it into a thick ponytail. She jams her feet into her grimy work shoes, not caring enough to bend down and pull the backs of the shoes out from under her heels. The plain silver band with two keys on it disappears into her pocket along with her phone, and she sets off again through the streets.

She could walk this path in her sleep, and probably has before. The same dingy buildings give way to the same uneven streets and the same ramshackle fences that the more territorial demons have tried to erect for years. The few battered plants that have managed to survive this long underfoot sway precariously in the slight breeze. The air is quiet, only a few noises penetrating the soft blanket of darkness. Even this late in the morning, not a demon is out of bed that doesn't have to be. She thinks for a moment, twisting up her nose. That's right, it's a weekend morning, isn't it? A good day for business; probably a terrible one for her anger management.

Finally, the familiar red panels of her trailer come into view. She pulls the keys from her pocket and pushes the larger one slowly into the lock. With each pin locked into place, she can feel the bonds of warding magic around the structure loosen one by one. The tiny runes etched onto the key glow brightly as the door unlocks with a click, swinging open with a screech as rusty hinges protest her entry. 

The interior feels like home, more than her burrow ever would. She sets her few belongings on the tiny open space in the corner and takes her apron from the hook hanging on the back of the door. The tightening of the strings around her waist feel akin to donning battle armor. She ties a quick knot across her back and takes a slow breath, eyes closed. Time to get to work.

Dishes move across the metal counters in a practiced routine, using every square inch of space available. The tiny gas burner tick, tick, ticks as she pushes the knob, then orange flames dance across the walls as it lights with a whoosh. Years of practice move her hands practically without her knowledge. 

Breaded newt legs drop into a pot of warm oil, hissing and popping angrily. A droplet of the oil splashes onto her arm and she grimaces, wiping it off on her apron and blowing on it gently to ease the pain. Small cinnamon sugar bites go into the oil next while the newt legs cool on a separate rack. She uses a sharp fingernail to slice through the tape on a box of pretzels and dumps them into a plastic container for easy serving. A pot of bright orange cheese sauce warms on the burner at a low heat. She pulls a rag from the bucket in the corner and wipes down her counters one more time, then finally steps outside the truck and pulls the door shut behind her. 

She circles the truck and frowns, looking at the simple gray logo on the front below the window. Her sharp eyes find two small dents that definitely weren’t there when she left it last night. Probably some drunk idiots. Unfortunately, drunk idiots are her main clientele, so she can’t be too frustrated with it. She wipes off the dust that settled on the metal with the lower half of her apron, then steps back to admire her work. 

“The Wolf’s Maw” is painted in gray block letters below the image of a wolf’s head with its mouth open, though the paint has long since faded. She should probably repaint it, but there isn’t much need to recognize the truck’s name by this point. Either a demon knows about her business or they don’t, and the ones who don’t likely wouldn’t stoop to her level anyways. 

It looks like the few dingy tables out front were also victims of whatever happened last night. She pushes the tables and their chairs back into some semblance of organization and grabs a wet rag from her truck to wipe them down. She runs through her mental checklist one more time. Though it’s been weeks since she’s forgotten anything, the familiar routine still helps quiet the anxious voice in the back of her mind that insists something has to go wrong.

Satisfied that everything is prepared to start the day, she heads back into the truck, tightens her apron, and mutters a short incantation with her hand on the wall. The letters and wolf’s head on the front of her truck begin to emit a soft silver glow, signalling that she’s finally open for business, with the added benefit of making her truck visible even in the deep darkness of the Devildom.

She turns her attention to the shelf home to bottles on bottles of alcohol and mixers, scrawling a quick note of what she’ll need to order soon on the back of a receipt. She doesn’t relish the idea of having to haggle her seller out of some of that fancy Celestial Realm wine, but if that’s what her regulars like, that’s what she’ll be buying. A flash of neon pink from outside catches her eye, and she quickly finishes her list and tucks it away in a pocket.

And there he is. Her earliest customer, right on time. Smelling like the pits of hell’s idea of strawberries. He struts up to the window, looking utterly inconvenienced by her ignoring him. He sets his elbows carefully on the windowsill, making sure his hands frame his face perfectly as he grins at her.

She opens the window with a thunk. “Wraith.” He clicks his tongue in mock disappointment. “What, no ‘good morning’? No, ‘how did you sleep’? ‘Any new clients?” “Had any good dick lately?” she jabs back.

He drops his hands. “Hey. Prostitution is a prestigious line of work.”

“Sure it is. About as prestigious as a bar truck.”

“Speaking of which…” he tilts his head to the side, probably trying to be cute but Roka knows better. “350.”

“What, no discount?”

“Wraith, when have I ever given you a discount?”

“A demon can hope, can’t he?”

“Hope is something you have when there’s actually a chance of what you want happening. This,” she waves a spatula in his general direction, “just crosses over into idiocy.”

He hisses at her quietly, baring his small fangs. His face pointedly reminds her of a kitten’s. “Fine. 350.” He pulls a small pouch from his front pocket and sets down four coins on the sill, three gold grimm and one silver.

“Three minutes,” she says as she scoops up the coins.

“What, no faster?” he pouts.

“Not unless you want bland, unsalted food.”

Wraith seems to finally accept defeat, watching her flash-fry his order and toss the newt legs in her signature blend of seasonings. He glances behind him to make sure he’s not holding up any line, but to his delight, he’s still the only customer here. “Guess what?” Roka raises an eyebrow in his direction, and he takes it as an invitation to continue. “The prince just put out a statement about how demons, humans, and angels should all try to coexist. There’s a whole hundred-year plan for improving relations between the Devildom and everybody else. They’re calling it the Three Worlds Initiative.” “Hm,” Roka grunts. 

“Well?” Wraith prompts.

“Well what?”

“What do you think about it?”

She shrugs. “You know how I feel about politics.” Her hands still for a moment and she shoots him a look out of the corner of her eye. “You’re just interested because it involves Asmodeus.”

He grins widely. “Maybe.”

She rolls her eyes. “Someday you’re going to have to realize you can’t be him.” 

The smaller demon wrinkles his nose at her. “I don’t have to be him. Just… close enough. It’s good to have role models, you know.”

“Who the hell told you that?”

“Uh… Asmodeus?”

“Right.” She slides a paper tray full of steaming fried legs over to him. He almost snatches it from the counter and wastes no time tearing into his food, finally walking over to a table as he eats. She elects to leave the window open, knowing how prone Wraith can be to shouting out whatever comes to mind and expecting her to hear it. 

Strangely enough, he finishes his food, tosses the tray in the trash, and leaves with a perky wave in her direction. She waves back wordlessly, wondering what has him in a rush, and turns to continue preparing syrups for use later tonight in her cocktails. Fuck… that prince really is something else. She mashes a collection of fruit peels into a bowl of sugar with a little more force than is probably necessary. The three realms coexisting peacefully? Fat chance. At least it’ll be contained to the castle and the high-class areas. Even those out-of-touch royals wouldn’t be stupid enough to let a human or an angel wander around down here.

A sharp knock at her window startles her. 

“Are you open or what?” a demon shouts, muffled through the glass. 

She slams open the window. “Yeah, yeah. What’s your order?” 

There we go. Back to feeling like her old self again. At least she always could rely on demons to have the same old short tempers and shitty attitudes.

Marriage? Yes!

Two weddings shall take place; as expected, having one in Drakovia is a must. Royal rules and all but I’ll be focusing on the one taking place in what you and now, Trystan call home; NYC. 

Believe it or not, Trystan is all up for your small wedding idea! But he has given you a fair warning that the wedding may be recorded and then televised. But he’s definitely up for a more intimate affair. Consider the one that took place in Drakovia a more ‘scheduled’ event, having to keep up with the itinerary. But as for in The States, the only royalties involved will be his family and a handful of their relatives or closest friends. And we can’t forget our girl, Olivia! She, Maksim, Viktoria, Lydea, and Marguerite are the most grateful for the smaller affair since they’ll be able to truly enjoy the moment without the fear of the press scrutinizing their every move.

That’s not to say they will completely sit back and forget their places. Lydea, especially, since she offered you her Royal Guards to keep watch of the venue. 

Unbeknownst to you, Trystan may have overheard when you quickly shot Captain Thompson’s so-called ‘offer’ down for the same services. So, like the attentive fiance he is, he may or may not have told Lydea about it, plus a quick backstory of what had happened when you were in the NYPD. Though your friendship with Lydea isn’t the strongest, you best believe when she replies with an ‘okay’.

Consider it the family’s long-overdue token of appreciation.

Glasshouse or outdoors-y venues. Just a hint of fairycore especially with the twinkling lights and chandeliers, plus tall glass candle holders plus pastel flower stand combo because I'd imagine young Rose yearning for a magical wedding before repressing her more 'domestic' wants shortly after Jimmy's murder. Plus, the view is absolutely breathtaking as dusk rolls around.

Just a little side note, but ‘Mr & Mrs Rose-Thorne’ written on the boards? It may be a hit or miss but I personally find it cute!

And fret not, for a ceremony that is still attended by royalty, not all of the food will be served as small as hors d'oeuvres or sourced from questionable ingredients. Fancy and filling, your buffet would offer an array of delicacies, ensuring to cater for those with allergies or any certain diets they have to follow.

Photos! One of your favourites is a candid picture of Trystan spoon-feeding you crème brulee just after you shared with him some of your mini caramel trifle just after exchanging vows.

Another favourite comes in a set at the floral photo booth with the crew. You, Trystan, Uncle T, Mafalda, Ruby, Luke and Alice! Trystan points out that he likes the last one the most; Tommy and Ruby are clearly cooing as Trystan kisses the back of your hand whereas Luke and Mafalda are (affectionally) judgy.

We know Trystan isn't into the whole reproduction idea, but I do imagine him thinking about adoption deeply even months before the proposal. Be it an actual child or even a sibling for Alice. But say he does grow fonder of the idea of having his own kids, the most important thing is that he can’t think of anyone better to be the mother of his kid other than you. 

Adoption or not, I can already see him with a daughter, affectionately calling her ‘Bug’.

Any of the members, namely Maksim or Trystan calling the Drakkos Zoo a day before your arrival to ensure Bug gets the full, more satisfying experience. You may have been very wary of introducing her to the old and wise Orlenna, but you’ve grown weak to her puppy-dog eyes. It started off as saying hello and babbling to the majestic viper, then after a certain number of visits, possibly your fifth or sixth (or at an older age), you slowly but surely give in. 

And just like your first visit, Orlenna nuzzles into the young girl’s hand, eliciting giggles as her tongue tickles her skin. You don't even bother shutting Trystan up as he chuckles at how you sighed in relief. Heavily.

Can't forget about your family's favourite part; the otters!

You may or may not have a whole photo gallery of her with the chirping critters.

You trying to make sure Bug isn’t alone with Astrid, Patryk, Kaspar or Emika, though soon, you’re a little more open to the twins. But Trystan and Lydea are a step further than you, warning them (and especially Patryk, who they most definitely don't want Bug to be around) with God knows what as the craziest thing you’ve ever seen the twins do to bond with your daughter is introducing the oddest couture outfits they’ve ever worn.  

Visiting the graveyard to commemorate those who have passed on, just as you do so she would also remember her Grandpa Jimmy. The story where you and Trystan duelled in Kovmorti never fails to bring sparkles into Bug’s eyes, but you can tell she imagines the whole scenario as a fantasy thing; Uncle Seb’s spirit form watching her parents honour him with actual swords and in royal garbs and all.

Just to personally indulge on this request, I wish to share with you a faceclaim of (my) Rose in a wedding dress (if you're curious, this is Joy filming for the drama 'The One and Only'!).

But by all means, you are free to choose—to be creative! You (or your OCs) are Detective Rose, too!

Let’s hear about the awkward adventures there aka Yuuki and Orpheus try not to face palm at their parents density/stupidity. Plus making sure the other NRC DO NOT spill anything from the past. As for that Shadybug and Clawnoir world, you know how you said no Orpheus just what if what if the Supreme actually got their(not clue if this person a dude or dudette but the voice sounded deep as hell), the Supreme got their hands on Orpheus that appeared in that world and used him to exploit said dude’s magic and more(emotionally manipulating the scared and confused kid) and possibly also because of Orpheus. KIDNAPPED people from twisted wonderland(the one that’s from that world) to use as pawns(aka more reasons to beat the living snort out of that guy), imagine if the Supreme even got their hands on that world’s Idia and Ortho too(way more angst, but Uhh let’s have Yuuki and Yulia from the shadybug and clawnoir verse help these guys). That aside I can only imagine the reactions from our main cast from well this(Lilia is so getting his old weapon right now to go all “GENERAL VANROUGE” on the supreme)

For the go in the past story, it's just so fucking hard to not tell the 2 'hey, we are your kids from the future, quit being awkward and get that akuma over with'.

:0 imagine they have to infiltrate the classroom. Just to blend in a bit more. Not only that, but also with the other NRC peeps (my preferred choices would be Ortho, Sebek, Kalim, Jade and Trey)

But also 2 ladybugs? 2 chats? Oh it's a fucking field trip. Everyone thinks they are tripping balls and it becomes more believable when they return back to the library and find out that only 10 or so minutes passed, while they were stuck there for days.

As for the reverse world >:3c

Since it is speculated that there is a reverse MLB world and that twist is like a sister-dimension that is in a very important bind with the og MLB world, there should be a reverse twst world as well, where the NRC Bois are gud and Disney princess like and also not emotionally constipated (aka the world in which Crowley FINALLY got a therapist) In here, I planned for the reverse Orpheus to be initially adopted by Emonette and Emodrien, but he got taken away by the Supreme as a hostage token. Imagine this happens a few months before the meeting with the og counterparts comes around, so in here, Yuuki and Yuulia are forced to work for the evil guy and help the senti-monster to reek havoc in the og twst world. Hence at first we get that sweet sweet 'evil counterpart' conflict.

Also the peacock holder is reverse Orpheus, since the miraculous was broken, but his magic prevented the illness backlash, so the supreme forced him to do against his will.

Echo is our primary gatekeeper. They ageslide very frequently, but typically stay in the range of a middle. They use they/them and identify as nonbinary and aroace. They adore foxes, and the colour green. Sometimes, even just seeing a picture of a fox is enough to get them into co-front. They love chaos and pranks, and have a secondary role as a chaos holder. They hold a lot of our ADHD too. They also have a habit of befriending absolutely everyone they come across.

Crimson - ♦️

Crimson is Echo's symbiote & protector, and we classify the two as a subsystem. Crimson doesn't identify as a person, but doesn't really mind if you classify him as one. He rarely talks, and typically only interacts with people if Echo is in trouble. His pronouns are down as "he/him + any."

Void - 💜

Void is our primary protector. Xe's known for his loyalty to his family and xeir aggression to anyone who threatens it. Xe can be very cold at times, and typically refrains from interacting with people. He uses he/xe pronouns and identifies as gay (nwlnw). He likes purple and hoodies. You probably won't see many posts from him, but you may see posts about xem.

Lexi - ✨

Lexi is Void's sister, and a very cheerful & happy-go-lucky albeit mildly chaotic alter. She's known as the token lesbian of our system (despite not being the only lesbian) and she's pretty flirtatious. She uses she/xe but doesn't really care - as long as it's not masculine, she'll roll with it. She doesn't have a gender identity label, but she aligns with a feminine gender. Xe likes orangey-gold colours, guitars and sunsets.

Michael - 🧪 or 🥼

Michael J Davis is an immortal scientist, frozen at a physical age of around 28. His mental age is closer to roughly 80 billion, and he's travelled all around the universe in his source. He adores science, and loves tinkering with the science and magic of headspace, breaking laws of physics that wouldn't be possible in the real world and creating new (and usually a little deadly) machines. He's brothers with Clara and has a whole host of kids. He's associated with the colour blue, and he'll probably offhandedly mention the craziest source memories and/or the weirdest advice ever that you've never heard before.

Kaz - 🪼

Kaz is an idiot /pos with a tendency to get in trouble. He's 19ish, and very gay. He's a semihuman, and he likes cyan. Officially, he uses "he/she/they/xe/it/zyr/blyss," but unofficially he likes it when people get creative. When referred to by pronouns that aren't he, it can stop him in his tracks for a second because he's not used to it, but he really doesn't care about what pronouns people use all that much. Clara is a lovely, albeit terrifying, lady. She's a doctor and spends most of her time in the medbay, healing people. She's an adoptive mother to Void and Lexi, as well as over 20 other kids. She's a caretaker but can quickly turn more ferocious than any protector if a child is being threatened. She has a strong eastern european accent (most likely derived from the body's parents) and takes on a motherly, caring role. She identifies with she/hyr pronouns and is somewhere on the aroace spectrum. She likes faded dark blue colours, and also happens to be Michael's non-biological little sister.

Celskar uses any pronouns, and he likes neopronouns. He and Michael are queer. He likes shimmering colours, and his favourite is a shimmery purpley-silvery-blue. I'm not putting too much about him here as he's very source-connected and I don't want to put stuff about his source without consent.

Orion - 🪽

Orion uses he/xe/other pronouns, and is associated with pale orangey-yellow colours. He's a self-branded fuckboy, and flirts with almost every alter in our system above the age of like 20. He's a mortal turned immortal, and his physical age is somewhere in the mid 20s. While he can come off pretty strong, he does respect boundaries and will stop flirting with someone if they tell him to. He has desaturated blue hair and gold eyes.

Hayden Jr - 💠

Hayden Jr is the host of a subsystem and the younger brother of Void and Lexi. They're genderqueer and on the aroace spectrum. They like blues and greens, but when picking a colour they tend to lean towards light blues.

Fran - 🦌

Fran is an absolute sweetheart. They're genderfluid, and in their mid 30s. They have a sanctuary-like area and take care of all littles without parents. They often help Clara with her kids as she typically has her hands full at the medbay anyway. They like dark forest greens, and they're a semihuman alter. They have large antlers with flowers blooming from them and large fluffy ears. They are sometimes a satyr and sometimes have human legs, it fluctuates and they've been seen with both.

Sior - 🐺

Sior is our secondary gatekeeper and an absolute sweetheart. He uses he/they/xe. He's a teenager, and he has a heart made of gold. He's part wolf, part weird-bird-thing, and part human. He will not shut up about the wolf side. /lh. He rambles a lot and often gets sidetracked - probably due to his role as a holder of our ADHD. He has an innersys boyfriend, Zack, and the two spend a lot of time together. He's also the son of Celskar and Mateo, but you probably won't hear much about Mateo as he rarely fronts.

Zack - 🛡️

Zack is pretty much the polar opposite of Sior - quiet, focused, and pretty introverted. He loves art and values his alone time just as much as his time with people, though he often lets Sior intrude on both. He usually takes co when Sior's fronting to make sure he doesn't get himself into any trouble. He's the son of Harry D, and the two can often be found playing cards or chess in their common area's lounge.

Katris - 🪄

Katris is the most powerful magic user in our system. He's also 15. One of Michael's kids, Katris is adept at magic and can often do complicated spells that fix things others didn't even know could be fixed. Michael often allows him to help around the lab, and sometimes he can be found helping Clara in the medbay. Now and then, Michael and him can be found watching movies or training together. Katris uses he/they pronouns and is on the aroace spectrum.

Charlie - 🐏

Charlie is a "weird goat - fairy - thing." His pronouns are "he/him but funky," and everything else about him is pretty much just as odd. He improv-swears when stressed and tends to be on the anxious side. He's very gay for his boyfriend(?) and he gets hyper easily. He's on the younger side, around 16 or 17, and he's associated with dark maroon colours.

Lacey - 📋

Lacey is pretty serious, and tends to seem strict. She wears her hair up and has dark glasses as well as a black mask. She's often found hanging around Kaz and Charlie. She uses non-masculine pronouns.

Davina - 💎

Davina's genderfluid, but typically aligns with femme genders. When talking about her and not knowing which gender she currently is, she prefers people use she/they. She's twins with Devin, though he's technically older by a day since she was born just after midnight - a fact he always holds over her. She's very kind and caring in general.

Elliot / Dream - 🟢

Elliot is a fictive from the series Since I Saw Vienna (I'll put down my roots when I'm dead & sequels). He is not c!Dream, or cc!Dream, do not treat him as such. He's decently source connected and doesn't mind talking with sourcemates. He's brothers with our Aftershock fictive and friendly with our Vincent fictive (both from the same source). He fronts now and then but typically prefers to mask as other alters or leave himself down as blurry or anon.

Vincent - 🎶

Vincent is a fictive form the same source as Elliot. He's Aftershock's dad, and the two are very close. He uses he/him pronouns but doesn't mind if people use they for him. He's a protector and takes care of people who aren't able to take care of themselves. He's very dad-like and gets overprotective easily. He's in his 30s.

Vi - 🧤

Vi doesn't front much, but she's still around a lot, and people probably will mention her. She's a fictive from Arcane, and while she has a lot of source memories she isn't super connected to it. She's dating our Caitlyn fictive from the same source, and she helps Clara out around the medbay a lot. She uses she/xe pronouns, and is okay with sourcetalk, but asks you don't presume she's exactly like source - she isn't. She doesn't like talking to source-connected Silco introjects, but if they aren't source connected then she's completely fine with them.

Technoblade - 👑

Technoblade uses he/him pronouns. He doesn't front much, but he's very protective over his little sibling (Echo). He's a fictive from an antarctic empire fic, and is really close with a Phil from the same fic.

Sorry for not giving project updates in awhile, life has been a bit unhinged.

Here's some stuff I made:

I crocheted a progress flag from embroidery floss and markered/painted a drawing figure for a Pride event at work.

I'm not crazy about how it turned out. I was making up the flag as I went, and the markers smeared when I tried to seal them with modge podge. I would do this whole project differently if I did it again.

I also crocheted some pot holders for the break room. I was tired of burning my hands on dishes from the microwave.

Blue and yellow are the company colors, so this yarn was perfect. First attempt at pot holders, and embroidering writing onto crochet. I'm satisfied with it as a first attempt.

I also lost my tcg deck box pattern (that I had created and wrote down), so I tried to recreate it from memory. I themed it for my June Spider Tribal Magic: the Gathering deck.

It needs to be a little taller so that I can fit a hard collector's sleeve in there for the feature card, but not a bad prototype. I forgot to take a picture of the inside. There's a slot for the Commander window that can also hold tokens or a small sideboard. I'm currently working on a slightly taller prototype for my spouse's Jeskai Storm deck, so keep an eye out for that.

Finally, I have also designed a sliding pencil box design. This one is for my sister for Christmas. It's so she has a case for her Cricut picks and such.

I had to resize the top a bit to get a good fit, but I am very happy with how this came out. Another self made pattern for the books!

I have many other projects upcoming, including the Minecraft Nesting Dolls (the OVERWORLD theme won the poll), but my life is experiencing a bit of upheaval currently, so I'm not sure when my next update will be.
