Mallowkit is quite the opposite of his mellow name- he's a troublemaker to the core, finding enjoyment in harmless pranks on his elders. While many don't seem to share his glee, a good reaction is all it takes for Mallowkit to keep going. His antics aren't exactly encouraged, with constant scolding from his parents, hoping to the stars that he grows out of this behavior. Mallowkit argues he's enjoying his time as a kit before responsibility comes, something he secretly dreads having to face. He may act foolish, but that doesn't make him one at heart.

I know you said that 404 feels zero remorse about her actions now. But did she ever love Sparkbreak? Why she had a family with him? (I’m just really curious about their dynamic and Spark seems to be important, I hope we will know more about their past together one day)

you’ll definitely learn more about the past in a more detailed way someday. But boy am I glad you opened up this topic cuz I have a LOT to talk about them. Prepare to get LORED >:)

Sparkbreak and Moththorn knew each other while growing up, but their feelings for each other started to grow while they were young warriors, when they had a nice conversation at the gathering. After They’d both try to amuse each other with just about anything, like Spark making jokes or Moth talking on and on about bug facts. (he started to understand why her name was Moth hehe) The rest of the clan could already tell that they were swooning over each other and they became all the more happy for them once they finally became mates (for the record, Moth asked him out on patrol first. She was the deputy after all lol)

They held off having kits for a long time since they wanted to be smart about it, and because Mothy wasn’t ready to hold back on her position as deputy yet… so they spent their moons together with helping the clan and supporting each other. But during this time, it was also when Moth started getting her ‘eye problems’, which would make her erratic and paranoid whenever she saw the ‘lines of numbers’ or ‘colorful squares’. Sparkbreak really did his best to help her with the problem but, like the rest of Pineclan, didn’t believe her about something ‘lying across the borders’. (Which is another whole can of worms to open up. TLDR; she was belittled and ridiculed for her ‘delusions’ and that was what really messed her up both mentally and emotionally)

Mousestar would actually then push her to have kits with Spark so she could move past her ‘delusions’ and focus on something important. (also not good) That’s when they had Heartkit! And they’d also have Iciclekit and Mallowkit. And Mothy and Sparky did enjoy having kits, it was the most happiest they’d ever been

…but just a moon before Snake popped out, her hallucinations led her to find out there was no moons prior. The game hadn’t even started. She came to find that all those memories with Sparkbreak, her whole life, none of it was even happening and she was just living through them. It was all written up for her before she was even a concept. And this thinking led her to a downward spiral and isolation. The love of her life, the cat she trusted the most, she couldn’t see why he mattered anymore, because the time they spent wasn’t even real

It was reliving these ‘memories’ that finally got to her, because she and everyone were only in Moon 0—but what happened before? Did her friendships and relationships matter? Were her kits even her kits? She felt confined, trapped, limited, and Spark still couldn’t understand why. He thought he was doing good as a mate, but she was still troubled. Once her position was taken from her Sparky eventually just gave up on helping her because she was beginning to seem like a lost cause

…And that’s mostly all I’ll say! A lot to think on but I still want to keep tidbits of how Mothy discovered the full truth, what those ‘hallucinations’ and ‘false memories’ were (very important), and how the inner clan war started. But to answer; yeah, she truly loved him. He was her butterfly. now? she would trade him for a disgusting old penny haha
