Mizuki gently sets the purple haired girl on the nearest couch before turning her attention back to the group.

From Ayaka you received- A fuck ton of cute dresses! Lacey and pink ones, baby blue ones, ones with pockets that can hold lots of stuff. There’s even a small box of bows and makeup. 

From Mizuki you received- a set of knives. Pocket knives to be exact. All of them stunning and shiny- some had little flowers carved into them and some had more intricate designs.

From Megumi you received- a set of night clothes! Specifically a Wish me Mell themed set of clothes! There’s also a small variety of plushies!

“Happy birthday…T-Touya-nii” Megumi stuttered out before correcting herself “Sorry…Kirasagi-san”

“Mmmm…you called him brother before. Are you embarrassed sis~ I’m not! Cause he’s like a brother” Ayaka gave Touya a sleepy hug as she spoke 

Touya cooed as Ayaka hugged him, nuzzling her head as she slept. Touya had always wanted younger siblings, but he never thought that dream would actually come true. Now, he had several people he could call his little brothers and sisters. Oh, if only his younger self could see him now. He would be jumping with joy.

Staring at the gifts Saga had given, Touya could feel his eyes begin to tear up. They were simple gifts, yes, but for someone like Touya? Someone so completely deprived of things like affection and love, it was more than what he ever expected. Maybe he wasn't as worthless and disgusting as Mama always said he was.

Hidden Inventory Movie - Juju Sanpo

Spoilers for the new juju sanpo!

There's a lot of witty lines from the new juju sanpo Gege wrote for the Hidden Inventory screening that adhere to the major theme of the arc -- there's an underlying meaning.

I want to point out this one I had to look up after the movie:

Gojo: "That's our witch doctor for you."

Shoko: "I hope you get sent to Black Jack!"

Geto: "Black Jack graduated medical school, so why is he unlicensced anyway?"

Gojo: "I guess we'll learn the answer to that in this movie."

First of all, just kill me. Gege, why!!!!!

Part of that is Gojo is making fun of Shoko for being a hack doctor, an unsavory one like Black Jack 😂 The other is that it nods to Geto sharing the same fate as Black Jack -- Someone who went to school with the purpose to do good, but was disillusioned by the system they were working under and turned away from it.

Black Jack is the main character, an unorthodox doctor from the manga series Black Jack by Osamu Tezuka. He's a medical genius who despite his wicked talent, has no surgical license to show for it. He works illegally from the shadows out of his hatred for the corrupt ruling establishment he refuses to answer to.

He is known for having a shocking and strange appearance, but being extremely principled, meticulous, dedicated to his ideals. He travels around treating patients for an outrageous price no matter who they are; unless they move him with their suffering. If he finds no redeeming qualities in his patient, he won't budge, and may even gouge them more for his services.

Some admired him for his abilities, and others scorned him for being unqualified, a maniac.

He actually did graduate from medical school when he was younger. During his internship, he fell in love with Megumi Kisaragi, who developed a terminal case of ovarian cancer. Black disobeyed his superiors orders to perform lifesaving surgery that removed the entire female reproductive system, and as a result they revoked his medical license. He left to open his own clinic without it.

Having lost their female organs, Megumi assumed a new gender identity as Kei Kisaragi by his own choice. Although the two go their separate ways, it is clear that they still have feelings for each other. Years later they are still good friends, if not implied to be more. Kei never stopped loving Black Jack.

His work has been called "godlike".

Black Jack was capable of great kindness as well as brutal cruelty.

呪術師 [jujutsu-shi] the kanji for a Jujutsu Sorcerer is the same that can be used to refer to a witch doctor.

The "witch doctor" and the proper sorcerer share the same characters... wow.

Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional launches May 8 in Japan - Gematsu

Romance visual novel remaster Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional will launch for Switch on May 8 in Japan, Konami announced.

The standard edition will cost 6,600 yen, while the Deluxe Edition will cost 9,680 yen. Both will be available physically and digitally. The Deluxe Edition includes a digital content set featuring the opening movie without subtitles; the digital soundtrack with background music from Tokimeki Memorial (1994) and Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional (1995, 1996); and a gallery of over 280 character illustration used for key visuals, merchandise, and other promotional content.

About

Tokimeki Memorial is a romance simulation game celebrating its 30th anniversary. Tokimeki Memorial: Forever with You Emotional is built around the concept of “reliving memories, just as they were, on Nintendo Switch,” with the original game’s feel and gameplay carefully preserved. Additionally, new features such as the “Emotional Voice System” (EVS) and the ability to switch between new and original character illustrations are available for players to enjoy.

Emotional Voice System (EVS)

EVS is a feature first introduced in Tokimeki Memorial 2, and later used in the series, where characters will call your name using their voice. Several preset names are included in the game, but a network connection is required if you wish to create a new name. (Note: The ability to create new names for EVS may be discontinued at any time, with prior notice.)

Switchable Character Illustrations
