New Welcome and small Updates overall

Hi hi! It's SelenaShuu here! It has come to my attention that I'm an idiot and the past info post doesn't work anymore sooooo imma remake it! I had missed somethings and somethings changed so maybe this was a good thing!

Under the read more or whatever cause mobile sucks sometimes.

So welcome newcomers (and people that have already been here)! Please check it out, I'd really appreciate it but if you decide not to stick around, I understand cause this might not be your cup of tea!

So as you guys already might be aware, this is a superpowers au! Everyone's powers have been decided and will be revealed as their designs come out in due time. (Mostly me and fallen being lazy.) But if ya need a refresher for the ones already revealed real quick; Kokichi: Telekinesis and Levitation, Shuichi: Teleportation and Invisibility, Kaede: Acoustokinesis and Super hearing, Kiibo: A sort of living computer virus, can become incorporeal and corporeal at will and can go into electric currents, Kaito: Can create small controllable black holes and Photokinesis. *But*, for now, only Kokichi and Shuichi are open for asks, small explanations in other paragraphs.

Any and all coincidences that happen here are either just that or they were inspirations. AUs like this aren't exactly uncommon so uh, don't kill either of us, please.

There is only a very basic story line for this (in a future paragraph and on the description), you guys will take the reigns with your asks and our decisions. But remember that me and fallen have the right to delete, edit, or ignore asks that do not deal with the subject at hand (or that can be used for something in the future instead of at the moment) or make us uncomfortable. You are welcome to dm us at any time for questions! Don't be shy!

[Future] relationships have already been determined cause I'm biased and uh,, yea sorry if some of these aren't your cup of tea: Saiouma, Momoharu, Kiiruma, Kaerumi, Amaguji, Tenhimi. And speaking of said relationships, they will not happen right away cause I said so... Maybe, I dunno, I really like them so we'll see how fast or slow it goes.

The order of the characters appearing is, loose... There is an order I wanna have but I also don't care at the same time so woo!

Speaking of characters, me and fallen have split them between ourselves as we said in a previous post (right here). And a little tidbit for the other casts, they do exist, but they are *definitely* not the focus. Juggling 16 characters is more than enough for us but they will make cameos here and there!

Now as for the story, again, it's a very basic storyline. The basic run down is their world is based on the strength of your powers. Their schools are just places to nurture, monitor, weed-out and cherry pick the best ones out of the bunch. Many rebel groups exist and are seen as the "villains" because the "good guys" paint them as such and brainwash the rest of the world. I want to build this world (and the characters) with you guys so yea! The setting/s at the moment are the highschool (speaking of, they are starting seniors so, 17-18 years old) they go to and the apartment super-plex (which is one of the places in which they *aren't* monitored) they live in, which is in the campus. There will be other settings but for now, that's all. This is a sorta, San Fransokyo kinda thing cause I will be referencing Japanese things but since we're both american... Yea-

For the most part, me and fallen stick to the english localization but we both have little tidbits we prefer. For example I prefer Ouma instead of Oma, Kiibo instead of Keebo, Nishishi instead of Neeheehee. Other tidbits we will be changing like Kiyo isn't... *looks at ch.3* and Kaito doesn't have his illness (at most he has asthma). And other things here and there so keep that in mind as I can't really list everything off the top of my head.

A very important tidbit, while our ask box (and submission box, if you guys ever wanna send anything for some reason-) will always be open (for now) we do have lives so we might not get around to them immediately. We both go to school and have our own personal issues so be patient if something decides to happen.

I think that's most of it? Again, we're open for questions and please always check the #officialstuff tag for any and all future updates (and things we most likely forgot cause yea,, it happens). We're learning as we go so there's bound to be changes here and there so be patient and I hope you all enjoy this dumpster fire! Thank you!

He will offer you suggestions on other things you can do to relax.

"Candles offer a relaxing atmosphere. You may also take a warm bath or get a massage!"

Will probably offer a massage, despite being made of metal.

Surprisingly does a really good job, tho.

Korekiyo Shinguji

Speaking of massages,,

This man is a massage GOD.

He somehow gets knots loose that you didn't even know were there in the first place.

He delicately applies the peeling mask to your face, leaning in extra close to make sure he gets it all.

Wants to put on a sheet mask and hide somewhere to scare Gonta.

You have to keep him from doing that.

Hey Mod Akane. Can you please do angst headcanons for the Danganronpa V3 boys reacting to their S/O who has the Hanahaki Disease?

I’m sorry that this sucked and that the characters probably sounded oc I haven’t played V3 in ages, I tried to go for a thing where you guys aren’t dating, but your close because hanahaki disease is when your suffering unrequited love and if you guys were together it wouldn’t be that, so you wouldn’t have had the hanahaki disease. I’ve also made it, so it doesn’t specify the crush, so you can imagine for yourself.

Danganronpa V3 boys reacting to reader who has the Hanahaki Disease:

RANTARO AMAMI:

* When he finds out you have hanahaki disease he seems very calm about it, but really on the inside he’s freaking out

* He just doesn’t want to make you feel worse about it by freaking out

* Rantaro is amazing through the whole process he’s holding your hair back for you while you cough up flowers and he will even hold the bucket for you if your too tired to hold it

* Will encourage you to confess or if you don’t want to do that to consider surgery, but he doesn’t want to pressure you too much

* But he does let you know whatever you choose he will stay with you

* If it’s been a few weeks and you still have the disease he’s going to start mentioning it a bit more trying to subtly convince you to choose one of the options

* He uses his money to buy the best doctors and scientists he can find to come up with a cure

* If the doctors and scientists can’t find a cure he’s going to start travelling to different parts of the world looking for a new cure for the disease

* It turns out no matter where he looked he couldn’t find a cure

* When he comes back home your condition has gotten, so bad you can barely speak without coughing up flowers, he comes and sits next to you grabbing your hand

* When he looks down at you he gives you a small smile, but when he looks away he lets his angry scowl show

* He’s not angry at you just at the world for giving you this disease of all people.

KIIBO:

* Well, when Kiibo sees you throwing up flowers he doesn’t know what it means, he’s quite curious, so he asks you

* “Um, Y/n do all humans throw up flowers or is this just a Y/n thing?”

* You tell him that you’ve got the hanahaki disease he doesn’t know what that is because robots don’t get that

* He goes and asks Miu about it at his next maintenance check up and she gives him a very detailed break down of it, well after she brags about how she’ll never get it because everyone loves her, so she’ll never have unrequited love

* Well, he goes back to you to tell you what he thinks is good news

* “Y/n to beat your disease all you have to do is tell the person that you like them and I bet they’ll like you back

* “It’s not as easy as that Kiibo because I know that they don’t like me back, so the only thing I will gain from this is humiliation”

* He still doesn’t understand why you won’t give it a go he still thinks that it can’t be that embarrassing, but he respects your wishes not wanting to anger you

* Tries to think of other ways to help, so he goes too read a book on it and finds out that you could get rid of it with surgery, but it’s too risky for a human and even if it succeeds you’ll be void of one of the thing’s that make humans special which is there emotions

* So he has too think of other options goes too Miu and asks if she can create something that will help you

* After some time she eventually makes something it can’t cure you completely, but it will delay the disease from growing for a bit

* It’s been a few weeks now and the machine is working until it isn’t anymore

* “Y/n, Miu said she needs you to do some work on the machine”

* He comes and finds that the machine is starting to malfunction and that you are coughing up flowers more than you ever have before

* It’s unsurprising though considering you should be dead by now if it weren’t for that machine

* Kiibo doesn’t know what to do he is no use in this situation it’s not like he has a feature that can rid you of disease and he’s not the best at comforting you having never experienced this emotion before, so he can’t relate

* He just stands there awkwardly trying to give you some words of encouragement to get you through this

* While your lying there slipping in and out of consciousness, exploding flowers from your mouth.

GONTA GOKUHARA:

* When he catches you throwing up flowers outside because you wanted fresh air he doesn’t understand

* Gonta thinks your collecting flowers into a bucket for the insects as a gift

* You tell him that there coming out of your mouth, he thinks you have some type of super power and thinks it’s really cool because you can constantly attract insects

* You tell him that you don’t have super powers and that it’s hanahaki disease

* “Hana disease, who’s this Hana and why are they a disease

* Then you go into more detail telling him about how if you don’t confess your going to die

* “Y/n’s going to die, Gonta doesn’t want Y/n to die”

* “Oh, I know why don’t you just confess”

* You tell him that it’s not as simple as that and it’s not guaranteed they will like you back, so it’s a waste of time

* He’s actually very upset about this, so he tries his best to make your life easier

* It is the gentlemanly thing to do

* So he starts doing things like carrying your bucket around and if your too tired from staying up all night throwing up he will carry you around to places

* He even brings you some bugs thinking that they will cheer you up

* When it’s been a few weeks and you still haven’t done anything about it you realise that you don’t have long left

* Gonta doesn’t realise this, so you try to keep it under wraps because you don’t want him getting upset

* He ends up finding out though when he knocks on your bedroom door and your not answering, so he comes in thinking something happened and finds you on the bed

* He asks if your ok for a few minutes and your not replying or waking up

* Gonta’s getting a bit teary eyed at this point wondering why you won’t open your eyes, so he calls the others for help

* And that’s when one of them tell him that your hanahaki disease is close to killing you and that was a close cool

* He’s very upset now Gonta doesn’t want you to die.

KAITO MOMOTA:

* When Kaito finds you throwing up flowers he asks you what’s wrong

* And you end up telling him about your hanahaki disease and explaining what it entails to help him understand

* So for the next few hours he just sits in the room with you and tries to comfort you about the predicament you are in

* As the days go by he tries to hype you up to confess to your crush he’s probably given you about 20 speeches about the topic over a span of a few days to get you hyped and motivated

* And he will carry on to do more, since this is the only way he can think of other than surgery to help you

* Starts bringing you to train with him everyday to strengthen your lungs it may not stop the disease, but he thinks it might slow it down if you have stronger lungs

* Although he is against surgery after a few weeks of his motivational speeches not working he starts to think of suggesting it to you

* He just doesn’t want to watch your life shorten like this because of your disease this is one thing you can both relate on

* When the disease starts to become, so bad he’s by your side trying to cheer you up by telling fun stories about his childhood and other silly shenanigans

* He just wants to make you smile and get you too stop thinking about your disease since he doesn’t want you to spend what could be the last few moments of your life in misery

* If your going to die he wants the both of you to spend your last few moments together smiling.

KOREKIYO SHINGUJI:

* He already knew that you were hiding something with all the times you kept disappearing to the bathroom and the way you always had a bucket close by where ever you went

* But he never asked you about it not wanting to pressure you and he thought that you would tell him about it in your own time

* He could tell that you were trying to suppress something when you were talking with him and he didn’t like that he was slightly annoyed that you were suffering some way and that he didn’t know anything about it

* He did find out eventually though because when he came to visit you he saw you throwing up flowers into a bucket

* “What’s wrong darling? Do you want me to help you in anyway?”

* He kind of new it was hanahaki disease being familiar with the symptoms because he came across it once when studying the affects of unrequited love in humans

* So he already knew what could be done to cure it

* And he can tell that you already know the cure for it, so why haven’t you done anything about it

* He narrows it down to you being embarrassed if you get rejected

* But what he can’t understand is why would you risk your life over being embarrassed if it meant you had the slightest chance of being cured

* He finds it quite a fascinating response to a situation like this and very unusual

* But there’s no point thinking about that now he needs to focus on you

* He tries to give you a few comforting words to ease your mind about this whole predicament

* Over the next few weeks he tries to do some research on different villages and tribes that could of created a cure for your disease

* Only when he’s not with you though, making sure your doing ok and doing things to help you

* Such as rubbing your back while your throwing up and moving strands of hair out your face as well, so no petals get in it

* After a few weeks his research draws to a blank he can’t find anything that will cure it except from surgery

* But he already talked to you about that and you told him that you don’t want to lose your emotions

* Anyway, he’s on his way to check on you since he’s noticed that your condition is getting worse

* When he finds you your throwing up constantly and it doesn’t look like your going to be stopping anytime soon

* So he goes behind you to sooth your back and just stroke your hair to let you know he’s here for you.

SHUICHI SAIHARA:

* You haven’t told Shuichi about your disease yet since you don’t want him to worry

* Even though you tried to hide it he still figured out something was wrong with you since he isn’t the ultimate detective for nothing

* But he doesn’t want to say anything since it might make you feel uncomfortable, he wants you to tell him when your ready

* He ends up finding out when he’s in your room because you invited him over and he here’s throwing up noises

* So he comes in and finds you spitting up flowers into the toilet

* He’s never looked, so shocked he was wondering how this was possible

* Shuichi walks over to you with his arms out ready to comfort you with a hug if you want one

* When you tell him about it he listens intently not wanting to interrupt you while you tell him all about your hanahaki disease

* He feels a bit bad for you because you have to go through this horrible disease

* Does bring up a few times how you should confess or maybe consider surgery

* But if you shut him down he won’t pressure you or bring it up again for a while

* After a few weeks he finds you on the bed slipping in and out of consciousness from the flowers spilling out of you

* He sits by you a comfortable silence taking over while he strokes your hand letting you know he’s here for you

RYOMA HOSHI:

* When he finds out about your hanahaki disease he feels empty

* He finally found another person he cares about and he might lose you over a silly disease

* And what’s the worse thing about it he can’t do anything about it except watch you slowly wither out

* Doesn’t even bother suggesting you confess to your crush since he can tell that you don’t want to do that, so there’s no point mentioning it

* He can also tell that you don’t want surgery and he thinks that’s probably for the best because he’d hate for you to be an emotionless shell of what you once were for the rest of your life

* After he finds out he tries to make your life a bit easier passing a bucket to you if you need to throw up flowers and other basic things to make your life easier

* He does try and find an alternate cure in his spare time albeit it’s a lot harder for him since he has no special talent that can help with medicine and cures in any way, but he tries

* Sighs, when at the end of his search that there’s nothing to help you

* After a few weeks he can tell you’ve gotten worse barely being able to get out of bed without throwing up flowers

* So he just spends the last few days sitting next to you at your bedside keeping you company until the fateful day comes that he will lose you.

KOKICHI OMA:

* Every time you say that your going to the bathroom to wash your face or too check your mouth he knows your lying

* He knows there’s another reason why you go to the bathroom he just doesn’t know what it is your doing

* Well he finds out when he picks the lock to your room to ask you to hang out and he stumbles upon you throwing up flowers into a bucket

* When he saw you his face was filled with worry he’s never seen anything like this before

* “What was that just then Y/n?” “And don’t lie to me and play it off as if it was nothing”

* This resulted in you explaining to him about your hanahaki disease

* Now Kokichi isn’t the best at comforting, but he tries his best to make you happy in this unfortunate situation

* After that day he’s with you checking up on you a few times a day and when he visits he tries to make you laugh by making jokes to help you forget about the situation your in

* He’s also going to be there for you and do little things in secret to make your life easier

* Kokichi has also made it his mission to spend as much time with you as possible since he doesn’t know how much time you have left and he wants to spend as much time with you as possible

* When it finally comes to your final moments where your really sick he’s in the bed next to you clinging on to you for dear life scared that your going to disappear since he can tell by your state that you haven’t got long left.

a young girl was busy painting your nails, another brushed your hair an attempted to clip things in it (regardless of the length, she was determined to try), a third was showing you her different toys. others were about, the oldest of the twelve being only a few months younger then rantaro was carrying a tray of tea to offer to you, and others spoke, questioned and listened to you.

they also questioned you a lot about rantaro, since you two were together right? do you like him? who confessed first? did you kiss yet? what's your favourite date? and so on and so on.

how had you gotten into this situation? well, you'd come round a bit early for your date with your lovely rantaro, and he was a bit late, so you were currently playing with the twelve (was there really only twelve? it seemed to you as though there was at least twenty, but a mental recount assured you it was twelve and you hadn't misremembered) girls that were eager to entertain.

and speaking of rantaro being late, one of the girls had read out a message to you from your phone at your polite request, that read that the man would be home soon. and sure enough you could hear him coming though, a few of the girls rushing to go great him. (the one showing you her toys hesitating as she glanced from you to the door, rushing off when you reassured her it was fine) it was sweet how he greeted them each, swinging the younger ones around as they laughed and cheered.

he entered the room to smile at you. "i hope they weren't too much trouble?"

"none at all! they were very lovely, i felt like royalty with the amount of attention i got" he chuckled softly and shooed the girls off lightheartedly, declaring it was now his turn with you. some whined, but the older ones dragged them away as they still attempted to converse with you for longer. "they're very sweet."

"they are." he hummed in agreement. "anyway, im really sorry about our date. the traffic was horrible, and it's raining, so i think we'll have to cancel."

"thats alright, i dont mind." you carefully placed your hand on his, ensuring you didnt get nail polish on his hand or his black coated nails.

"nice colour." he commented

"chose it myself from their options."

"its very... you."

your conversation was ended by one of the younger girls walking in with a projector. "i didn't mean to overhear, but you could use to a date instead. ill get the others to find you some snacks and drinks, you could make a fort from pillows." she suggested shyly, brightening up when you both applauded the idea.

of course a few of the girls joined in, making excuses as to why they kept appearing in rantaros room, until he offered to let them stay. time passed until most were asleep, the older ones in their own room, the younger just over pillows and blankets and surrounded with empty cups and wrappers. the rain has stopped, so he quietly and quickly pulled you away, giving you a jumper of his and leading you out to the garden.

the stars were out. it was silent and content. you squeezed his hand softly, and he kissed you sweetly, a few times to be exact. you hadnt had much privacy beyond a quick peck when the girls weren't looking for most of the day. "you could stay the night, since you're already here. ill lend you clothes."

"i could." you agreed, smiling at his joyful expression when you said so.

Immediate blushing.

He'd left his notebook in your dorm and walked in on you strumming your guitar and writing on some sheet music as you whispered sweet words under your breath.

You were in such a trance he'd feel bad if he interrupted you with what you were doing, but his curiosity got the best of him and he looked over your shoulder.

Your sheet music read "Shuichi". As he read your words he realized it was a love song.

For him??

You were too sweet and he had to leave your room, his face was red. He never thought he'd ever get a love song written about him.

When you eventually performed in front of him he was in tears.

He was hugging you and sniffling as he muttered how much he loved you.

Kokichi Ouma

He tried to play it cool, but it was obvious he was losing it.

It wasn’t like he was shocked, he was more stunned.

Really? Someone was writing a love song for him? He’d never once thought a love song would be written about him. Maybe an angry or sad song, but never a love song.

Kokichi hovered around you, trying to read all of the lyrics. He couldn’t read music, but he could read your words. Eventually you told him to leave so you could focus.

The final product was best after all.

He had to agree when he finally heard it. Kokichi didn’t speak for a good few minutes, just trying to comprehend the level of emotion he was feeling.

You were just too good for him!

Kaito Momota

Man was he flattered! A love song about him? Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars?!

He was so excited to hear the rest, the chorus sounded awesome and now he was bouncing in his seat, waiting for the moment you’d bless his ears with your music.

Kaito couldn’t help himself and started trying to figure out what the lyrics and final tune would be. It sounded really upbeat, so no depressive words, but maybe you’d change it up? It was just too difficult to find out!

When you finally showed him what you’d created, he was screaming the song through the hallways, it was completely off key and he was stumbling over words but hey, at least you know he liked it!

Rantaro Amami

Rantaro’s smile wouldn’t leave his face no matter how hard he tried.

He offered to help with the song, but understood when you declined. It was meant to be special.

Though, that didn’t mean he wasn’t helping in other ways.

He’d bring water, food, blankets, anything you needed for comfort to write your song. You getting sick because you were caring more for the song was unacceptable!

When the time had come and you performed in front of him.

Your voice, the instruments, even the way you were swaying to keep with the beat was mesmerizing.

He held you in his arms afterwards. He promised to make something just as good for you, even if he had to travel the world to find that special thing.

No, that was not mascara staining his cheeks, you’re imagining it.

Ryoma Hoshi

He wanted to stop you. He didn’t deserve it. You shouldn’t waste your time on making something for a monster like him.

But seeing how excited you were to finish it for him made him pause. This would be okay if it made you happy.

He tried to make sure he wasn’t counting the days till it was finished, you could stop writing it whenever you want, he understood why you wouldn’t want to write something for him. Let alone a love song.

When you had finished it he was surprised. You really went out of your way to do something like this for him?

Well, there was no way he was turning this down.

You sang your heart out, smiling at him as your fingers danced on the strings of your guitar.

For the first time Ryoma truly realised how much you loved him.

He was going to do anything just to keep this. He’s not giving up on this or you for anything.

Gonta Gokuhara

Oh boy was he ecstatic.

A song? For him? Of course he was going to listen!

He was going to do anything to make this perfect for you.

Gonta set up an entire stage just for you and him.

It was a few days early but he still maintained it. It was the least he could do for you!

He felt a little bad he had nothing to give you in return, but hopefully his love would be enough!

The day of the performance he dressed up in his best suit. He even wore shoes!

He sat quietly for you but his smile never left his face.

After you finished he ran up to you and gave you the biggest hug, he was crying happy tears.

So many thank you’s you lost track.

Now he had to repay you, because that’s what a true gentleman would do!

Korekiyo Shinguji

He smiled. This was just something too beautiful to interrupt with noise.

He was standing there for a few minutes, silently watching you.

When you caught him you quickly ushered him out of the room.

Though he was disappointed, he couldn’t wait to hear the final product, it would be magnificent he was sure.

He quietly watched the performance, his gaze never once leaving you. No form of art was as gorgeous as this.

Afterwards he hugged you. It wasn’t a long one, but it got his emotions across just fine.

Of all the things humanity has to offer, you are truly the most beautiful of them all.

Kiibo

He literally short circuited. You had to bring him to Miu to reboot him.

You broke the robot, congratulations.

In the time it took for him to come back, you were adding the finishing touches to the song. Editing the lyrics, cutting and adding notes and such.

Kiibo was trying to make sure he didn’t overheat whilst you were singing.

He recorded it to listen to later of course.

After you finished he was having a hard time remembering how to speak. You were just so amazing.

If he could cry, you two would have drowned in his tears.

He finally calmed down and was able to tell you how much your song meant to him.

You can bet he has your song on repeat in his head. Yes it’s completely necessary.
