Inktober Day 9 - Autopilot

Had a bit too much fun with this one. Myself and a few friends have a time...line? Circle? Whatever based on our adventures in the multiplayer mod for Outer Wilds just called "Quantum Space Buddies." Many chaotic shenanigans ensue. In this case...my Hatchling, Arete, is about to have their piloting privelages taken from them forcefully for 22 loops. Oopsies. HEYY QUISSE HERE what are your thoughts on pregame saimota? do you think it would be insanely unhealthy, or just slightly less stable than in-game saimota?

⭐Hello there! Due to the nature of this question, this ask is being responded with the personal opinion of @catcrazyx , which is to say this may not reflect the opinion of other fans, and nothing said here should be taken as a fact.⭐ ------- Answer: Thoughts on anything regarding pregame content is very subjective, due to it all being up to each individual's headcanons and opinion. However, indeed the fandom has come together and agreed on some headcanons for each character, therefore creating this illusion that these headcanons are canon, which they are not. Pregame Saimota is NOT toxic. People have made them toxic. In my sincere opinion, I heavily reject the fanon headcanons that Kaito is your stereotype deliquent bully who would have anger issues. And I also heavily reject the fanon headcanons that Shuichi is a yandere, stalker weirdo. I headcanon Kaito as being cold and distant, intimidating, a deliquent, but not a bully. He's more street smart rather than academically smart to constrast with the ingame Kaito. He's very protective of the ones he loves. He's more like ingame Maki, but not violent (because he's not an assassin lol). He's better with words and threats, and only uses physical violence if required to defend others or himself. I headcanon Shuichi as just being very socially awkward, he's very obsessed with Danganronpa like Chiaki is with video-games, he's really more like Chiaki, just wanting to make friends who enjoy the same things as he does. He forgets (or more like he has no energy or motivation) to take care of his health and skin, due to this he's sadly bullied at school (not by Kaito of course), and also because of his obsessions. My pregame headcanons usually involve Shuichi, Kaito and Kokichi. Being Shuichi and Kokichi best friends who one day are protected by Kaito from the bullies and both best friends start clinging to Kaito who warms up to them and becomes their friend. They then introduce him to Danganronpa. Given this, there's nothing unhealthy about my pregame Saimota headcanons, therefore, pregame Saimota is NOT toxic. I do enjoy anyone's pregame headcanons which may be similar to mine, or that at least do not make Kaito a bully, and Shuichi crazy, just to find an excuse to hate on these characters. People's headcanons can be very varied, I do enjoy the idea that pregame kids are all a bit weird and depressed, in general so to speak, but this is really very subjective, and anyone may disagree with me. - CatCrazy
