do not judge me, I'm kinda bummed my "only" option someone who sees athena as a lesbian is juniper, because it reeks of unrequited love and heartbreak, and I can't forget that when I try to write it. of course I could ship athena with a character she hasn't interacted, or in the worst case, an oc, but I like to stick to a resemblance of canon compliance. I like to slot my silly little headcanons there as if they were tetris pieces.
