It’s the dead of night when you’re awoken with a frightful gasp only to see a figure looming over you. No, not looming. On top of you.

Your heart stops and you’re just about to scream when you realize exactly whose red eyes you’re looking into.

“Day?! You nearly gave me a heart attack!” you whisper angrily, but he doesn’t respond. Instead he shifts and you feel the blanket move. That’s when you realize, he’s pulling it back and climbing into bed with you. He’s also already presumptuously undressed down to his jeans and tank top.

“Day? What are you...” You trail off as he climbs atop you again, pulling the blanket over both of you. His arms create something of a cage around your head, his nose an inch from yours. You can feel not just yours, but his heart beating, both to a rhythm of growing excitement.

“I hunted you in a different way,” he whispers. Then he captures your lips in a long, hard kiss, once again claiming full dominance over you. Like he’s your alpha. Not a bad thought, really.

He breaks the kiss, making a show of running his tongue over his top lip, like he’s still tasting you.

“I came all this way. You tired? Want me to just crash here for the night?” He tilts his head. “Or want to help me do something about this feeling that the front of my pants is growing tighter?”

Today Should Have Been A Rest Day

I knew it when I woke up this morning. My calves felt really tight at first, but they loosened up through-out the rest of the day. But the time lunch came around, I figured that it would be completely fine and that I'd have no problems.

This is how my run went:

Me: Alright! Great warm-up, now we have a great song on, let's run!

Everything seemed to be fine at first until I hit that half mile point. And then:

Right Calf: Oh that's a pretty good pace there. Shame if you had to slow down for any reason... *tightens up*

Me: Oh come on, don't do this to me. Let's go!

Right Calf: No, I really don't think so *tightens up even more*

So I slow down, doing short intervals of walking and running. I finally hit a mile, which felt like FOREVER and the time wasn't that beautiful either, and am all:

Me: Come on. We can make this mile back to work good. you're doing better now, right?

Right Calf: Heh heh heh. *remains tight*

Left Calf: Oh! That looks like fun! Let me try! *tightens up*

Needless to say, my calves are sore and I am not too pleased with them. I need to spend tonight with some serious stretches and probably call a running rest day tomorrow.
