Since that time, our defenders have stayed in Türkiye under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's protection guarantees. Today, they are returning home and will finally reunite with their relatives.

It reminds me of how the National Park Service had no qualms forcing Havasupai out of their Settlements in Grand Canyon Village, the ORIGINAL Stewards, but exhibited the uncanny desire to see the Grand Canyon as pristine untouched wilderness that needed to be saved...but saw no value in fighting for, protecting and preserving a culture that has thrived in the Grand Canyon probably for at least 1,000 years!? Our nation’s treasures went unprotected during the shutdown but today many workers are returning. We welcome everyone back and thank you for the hard work ahead as the parks are cleaned and restored.
