Evening walk around the neighborhood

1. Hong Kong Funeral Home - Chinese customs and superstitions surrounding death will never cease to intrigue me. I will probably also never stop enjoying the neon that lights up the side of the building

2 Siu Siu - Siu Siu is one of the local market cats in training. She was recently caught, spayed, and returned to her home at the market. My wife has been helping her owners adjust to life with a kitten so we have developed a bit of a bond.

80s mall culture and style appreciation post

went to my local mall today to do christmas shopping and such and man was it dead, taken over by cheap fast fashion and poorly made anime merch stores (not dissing anime there’s just like 5 of these stores at my local mall). listen malls have always been a shitty capitalist hellhole but people seem to overlook its importance in community’s since their creation in the 50s/60s.. malls were used to used for concerts, clubs, and community gatherings, but now as malls have been dying, being replaced by the world of online shopping, this community space has died with it. ill cut myself off their but i have a lot of thoughts on malls. fascinating stuff.
