A little AU I’ve been working on

(Based off of this MV, which I’m still obsessing over.)

This is an interpretation/AU of Jailbreak’s ending, made mainly so I can A) stop being so devastated by it and B) stick my own ocs in the Jailbreak world.

I’m not fully satisfied with the ‘after crash/rescue’ design, but it’s a start.

WORLD: A post apocalyptic version of Earth. The animals have been mutated into strange creatures, and the plant life has had… varying reactions to the fallout.

The place Kawasemi and Kuina are in is part of a stretch of grasslands. It’s a bit similar to the American Great Plains.

On another part of the continent is a highly toxic jungle.

A lot of inspiration from Miyazaki fantasy landscapes.

CIVILIZATION: The dome cities are each under the control of a tyrannical police force. There are multiple ones scattered around the landscape. The cities occasionally trade with each other for things like weaponry or metals.

Raw supplies from the “other place” arrive in guarded shipments. Civilians and most officers are not allowed to leave the city, but a certain few are assigned to ensure the shipments come and go smoothly.

MY OCS:

Skyler, 15 - a young scout for the scavenger group that rescued Kawasemi. She’s not very physically strong, but her endurance and agility make her useful for scouting areas. Skyler is serious, levelheaded and somewhat curious about the dome cities.

No one knows where she came from. She just showed up one day with almost no memories about herself.

Uses a blade as a weapon and has excellent eyesight.

Often the only braincell holder in the room.

Julian “Jet”, 16 - the grandson of the architect who built much of the dome city’s current infrastructure. Both his parents are dead of a “mechanical accident”. An aspiring mechanic who fixes and modifies the weapons of the police force, as well as designs new ones. He’s cheerful, brash, and makes friends easily.

Due to his orange hair, he somewhat resembles Kawasemi.

Jet isn’t actually loyal to the police. He just does his job because he likes being a mechanic.

He does not wear a blindfold because it’s generally a bad idea to fix delicate machinery blindfolded.

山萩[Yamahagi] Lespedeza bicolor

The name means Mountain bush clover. It is a common plant that can be seen in the mountains and fields, grows about two to three meter tall with long branches and twigs that flex well, and the small leaves and flowers attached to them are lovely. When simply called Hagi, it often refers to this species.

Hagi has been loved by people since long long ago, and has been written about in many waka, haiku and so on. It is one of 秋の七草[Aki no nanakusa](The seven autumnal grasses) and, of course, one of 秋の季語[Aki no kigo](The seasonal words for autumn).

The long branches fluttering in the wind have an air of elegance. Many people call the appearance of tangled branches caused by strong winds or storms 乱れ萩[Midare hagi], the flowers that spilled on the ground 零れ萩[Kobore hagi], and find them tasteful. In addition, as subjects, the combination of 萩 and 鹿[Shika](Deer) or 萩 and 月[Tsuki](Moon) was particularly favored. 乱れる means to fall into disorder, 零れる means to spill or to overflow.

初めまして。アムリアです。色んな創作がしたい未熟者。

来歴

2015年　吹奏楽部入部。フルート希望だったがオーディションでホルンへ。

↪️実は同期は自分も含めて皆ホルン以外を希望していた。経験者だからとF、B♭、ダブルを全部中学のうちにやった。自前は古いダブル。

2018年　中学三年で昭和楽器デュオコンで銅賞。（相方はTb）

↪️　音域が一緒すぎて楽譜なかったのでTbデュオ譜面を移調した。

2018年　埼玉県立松伏高等学校音楽科ホルン専攻入学。

2020年　適応障害から不登校になり単位不足で高校転校。通信制へ。

2021年　尚美ミュージックカレッジ 音響・映像・照明学科入学。

同年12月　6月に新型コロナウイルスに羅漢。後遺��と精神疾患の再発で中退。この時期に適応障害が双極性障害になり、発達障害が発覚。

2022〜2024年　生き方を模索。一番足掻く。

2025年　自立支援事業所をきっかけに本格的に小説以外の創作の練習を開始。３月末アレルギー性の喘息を発症。

本人の概要

アカウントの名前の「アリウム」は花の名前。花言葉は「不屈の心」。

これだけは絶対に折れないという願いを込めてつけた。他の趣味アカウントもほとんど花の名前が由来。

小学生から音楽に触れ続け、ついでにあちこちのヒーローを男女問わずに履修。結果的には一番昭和ライダーにどハマりしたオタク。知らないヒーローの方が恐らく少ない。世代2005〜2015年あたり

大体見てなくても名前は全部知ってることが多い。ロボ系は普通。エヴァは好き。

最推しを1人に絞れない人。

小6から授業は板書だけしていつも小説を書いている生活。

もう10年近いが、二次創作しか完成したことがない。一次はやったことはある。心理描写と本編に沿った追加の独自設定が強み。

文字数増えがち、筆爆速。

寄り道でアイドルを通ったおかげで聴いているジャンルはJ-POPとK-POP、J-POPはHIPHOP以外は大体好きなら聞く。アニソンも好き。逆に言葉の意味がすぐ分かりずらいことから洋楽はあんまり得意じゃないけど、好きな曲もある。最近はインストもやっと好きになってきた。ただ、ピアノやオーケストラしかストレスなく聞けない。

これがきっかけで軽くなら韓国語読み書き可能。

ボカロ中毒。マイナーな曲ばかり好きになるのでカラオケに無くて悲しい思いをしがち。機種はJOYSOUND一択。まねきねこヘビーユーザー。最大6時間一人で居座ったことがある。カラオケ中毒でもある。基本一人で来てずーーっと歌ってる。一緒に行ってくれる人募集中。

専門で作曲に触れたことから制作を志すものの、難しすぎて断念。歌詞だけは書ける。詩的でストーリーがは��きりしているのが特徴。2025年に再開。

イラストは元々苦手意識があったが、脳内のイメージをちゃんと形にしたいと少しずつ始める。将来MVを作れるようになりたい。

楽器演奏はホルンがメインだが、ピアノも少しやってた。家にはトランペットとアコギ、エレキがある。でも元から爪が長いせいでギター系は練習しずらい。楽譜はリズム読みが壊滅的。読み方知りたい。

発達障害と精神疾患があるうえ、体もあちこちボロボロだが案外元気。

別に同情とか配慮とかしてほしくて書いてるんじゃなくて「こうなってもここまで来れる」って思って欲しいから。

座右の銘は「諦めなければなんとかなる」「善は急げ」。

死ぬほどせっかち。

この人生の苦しみに意味があったと思えるように、自分の作品で誰かが「あと少しだけ生きてみよう」と思える作品を作りたくて覚悟を決めた。

コミュ力に割り振るはずのステータスを創作に全振りしたかのようなスペック。なるたけ誠実でありたいけどまだ難しい。

neru企画　実験会第5回 むらたちひろ《一滴の出来事》

■日　程：2024年7月15日（月・祝）– 16日（火）

■会　場：OAG Art Center Kobe（兵庫）

●実験会概要 むらたちひろは、染色の技法に含まれる水や染料の動きなどの現象や、それらの現象を生み出すきっかけとなる身体の動きにも着目し作品制作を行ってきた。

本企画でむらたは、これまで制作してきた作品が鑑賞者にとってどのような「距離」（自身との関わり）で鑑賞されうるかを考え、再制作や新たな構成を試みる。作品の公開に合わせ、展示のテーマとなる「作品との距離」や個々の作品の鑑賞方法についてなどのディスカッションも行う。

また新作として、作品の一部を鑑賞者の手元に届け、鑑賞者の日常の中で体験が始まる試みを予定している。（事前予約制）

水を媒介に素材が変化した／していく間に、周囲の環境や社会状況、作家の思考や鑑賞者のその日の気分など、様々な時間が同時に流れ、作品と鑑賞の場に入り込んでいく。本実験会は、その時々で変化しうる「作品との距離」について、つくり手・鑑賞者の両方の側面からの目線を知る機会としたい。

●〈ねる neru〉について

パフォーミングアーツの研究を行う庄子萌、現代美術の制作・企画を行う佃七緒のアーティスト・リサーチユニット。美術等の展覧会や演劇・パフォーマンス等の鑑賞時に、鑑賞者が「どのように作品と時間を過ごす(または過ごさない)か」を中心に、アートの企画の設計を研究・試行する。

I anticipated her to be weirded out. I thought she’d be scared. I thought she’d hate me

But lo and behold,

The next day, I received a letter from her

Addressed to “the talented busker”

And signed, from the “amnesic schoolgirl”

And oh, how she had made my heart melt. I adored her so much.

I think that it was at that moment, in which I had completely fallen for her,

In that moment, I wanted nothing more,

Than to be hers

And the letters came, and they went. The letters were here, and then there

I’m looking at old English translyrics I wrote to Neru’s “Life Prolonging Treatment” (MV has flashing and violent imagery) and—oh my god? What is this rhyme scheme in the first chorus??

The prosody is a little rough (I think I missed a few syllables) but the rhyme scheme kind of works with the melody though…?

Content Warning: Medical trauma. The rest is kind of vague/heavily implied but, unethical experimentation (?), terminal illness (?), self-harm (?), suicide ideation

My English Translyrics:

I think I took some creative liberties with writing “Head in, or from within, won’t you leave me be?!” because the original lyrics of “どうかここから連れ出してよ” is more so “I beg of you, take me away from here!” (according to Rippukun’s translation on Vocaloid Lyrics). But in fact, an older version of these translyrics I wrote it as a more straightforward “So please, take me away. Let me leave this place.” That might work better, because the “here” this line refers to the speaker’s traumatic situation (in the hospital, presumably) and not—(content warning: discussion of suicide in the linked article)—the sea of trees alluded in the previous line…

Still, I suppose you wouldn’t write English lyrics like this if it was originally an English song. That is, the melody fits the Japanese lyrics more… because… (checks) the original lyrics have a lot of plosives, phonetically…? It’s strange though. The Japanese lyrics have internal rhymes but my English lyrics have a different set of rhymes which is… hm…
