It took about a week for Alex to actually get back in touch with River, and when she does it's via text.

Alex Hey there. This is Alex. Sorry it took me so long to get back in touch with you. Took a bit to comb through my schedule and find a few days here and there that I should be good to at least get started.

What followed were a list of dates for the next couple of months, showing a few sets of days where she has a couple days off from both classes and teaching back to back.

Alex These should give me time to recover afterwards if needed, at least until the end of the summer semester. Let me know if any of these days work for you, and we can try and work around your schedule too.

In the whole “what would the Starks do if Jon’s parentage ever came to light” debate, the most interesting figure to me is Robb Stark. Ned is already caught between a rock and a hard place: duty and love to both his king and his sister’s son, though he already committed treason once to save Lyanna’s boy. Catelyn the embodiment of the Tully words, “family, duty, honor”, is fiercely loyal to her husband and children - but not to Jon. So if she was ever put in a position to choose, it’s obvious what she would do. Then there’s Robb. He’s his father’s heir, his mother’s pride. He’s named after Robert Baratheon, the ruling king of the seven kingdoms, as a testament to his father’s upbringing and love for his friend. But Jon is his brother; his best friend; his greatest companion. Where Ned’s choice would leave him conflicted, Robb doesn’t share the same loyalty to the king. So when forced to fight for the crown or his brother’s life, he’d obviously choose his brother. Which would be an interesting twist of fate. Ned and Robert rebelled for their lives many years prior. How interesting it would be for the boy who bears Robert’s name and the boy who bears Ned’s face to rise in rebellion again.

Is anyone particularly gifted at tracing where a ransom note came from? Because ANOTHER one of the flamingos is gone, and instead of a leg in its place was a note, but all the letters were made out of pictures of the leg....

Considering the way Loop's wish was granted, Siffrin couldn't exactly say he was surprised at how this one turned out. He honestly wasn't even sure if this one was possible - he didn't know what actually happened to Loop when they disappeared, after all.

But . . . Loop should get their happy ending, too. Perhaps, maybe, the Universe would be willing to make up for what it had done to them.

It took Siffrin a while to actually make the wish, after their experiences with their previous one, and the results of it was a possibility they figured could happen, but, if this was possible, and Loop returned home after helping, then Siffrin probably would, too. It'd be fine, wouldn't it? It'd hardly take long, already knowing how to break them.

. . . Unless Loop decided to be really difficult about not talking to their family.

He couldn't exactly say it was pleasant to be back in Dormont, though, even if it wasn't his own. He'd be fine. He'd be fine. It wasn't his loops to be stuck in this time. He wouldn't have to go through the House all over again. He could act for Loop as Loop acted for him.

Actually . . . didn't they say once, that if they were in Siffrin's position, they'd spend all their time in the House? Would he even be able to find them in the meadow? Would they even come to the Favor Tree? Or would helping Siffrin with his own loops change the way they acted with theirs?

They didn't know. But they knew two things: they had to find Loop, and, unless Loop gave them the okay, they could not let their - Loop's? - family see that there were two Siffrins. The Universe didn't change their body this time, after all, and that would be a lot to explain.

Hm. Siffrin looked at his hand. The easiest way to find Loop without letting the others see him would probably be . . .

He closed his first and extended his thumb and pinkie, then brought them to his face as he thought hard about talking to Loop.

Watching Starter for 10 after not seeing it for years and years. I'd forgotten how incredibly funny Benedict was.

In retrospect, I didn't realize how well-written his character was - but then I have to think that BC brought a lot to the role. You can see his true flair for comedy--which has gone far too underused throughout his career--and how damn good he's always been. Patrick Watts may be just a supporting character, but he's totally real and an absolute hoot from the first breath he draws onscreen.

I'm currently putting in less hours at the shelter, for anyone looking to set up holiday photo sessions. Whether you want to get family Christmas photos, photos for Christmas cards, or hey even those super awkward, but fun "retro JC Penney" style photos with family or friends, I'm down to make whatever you want done work. Christmas card photos will definitely have first priority, though since I know most people want them ready to send out by Thanksgiving.

This cycle was soon coming to a close. It was only a matter of time until Ash and Angela had to take a temporary leave before they were called once more to judge a cycle with Father. Before that would come to pass, Ash wished to take a leaf from his dear sister's book and speak to those in Hell.

One couldn't achieve their goal if they were unaware of how things ran without the proper details. Who better to question than the King of Hell himself?

While Lucifer was busy in his office, a soft yet firm knock could be heard from the door.
