Ive been doing a lot of exploration and design for a bioship and character for a project I've been working towards creating in my spare time. I've just been working over photobashed elements to explore shape and form and push past my go-to aesthetics to something new that will more readily serve the story. Here is the journet so far.

Another forray into vector art. Learning more about the tools, specifically the boolean functions and lineweight in a practical way is really endearing this art form to me.

I think it's important to address the fact that from time to time my desire to create art is entirely overwhelmed by the way in which I allow time to slip past me. Sometimes it is because I'm genuinely busy and the work I make on the day is little more than mess scribbles on a page. Other times, it is because instead of picking up the pen to draw, I am focusing on trying to build my art knowledge in other ways, or, honestly, sometimes I'm just trying to rank up in League of Legends (pointless goal as I am Bronze 5). Regardless, at this juncture, I'm trying to balance the importance of posting often versus posting more quality pieces/works of art. Either way, I definitely want to make more with greater frequency.
