Soo I'm going through trial and error when making this au. I'm still deciding on the roles, I think maybe monty is either foxy or puppet?? And I've only watched a little of the other shows so I barely know what's happening with roxy and stuff like that! Currently working on a FNAF story and I have some pieces I’m putting together. There are several OCs involved for funsies.

So here, have my plot outline.

Monty gets a new caretaker after an incident.

Said caretaker worked there a long time ago and was originally Foxy’s caretaker

Foxy is now decommissioned.

Foxy was very close with the caretaker and both were in cahoots with the waterpark animatronics.

Monty does not initially want anything to do with this caretaker, likening them to a babysitter. He sticks to the catwalks and stays away.

So the caretaker sticks just cleans up Gator Golf. Alone. Every night.

Gator Golf ends up having to be shut down because some teenager poured an entire canister of dehydrated slime into the water canal and gunked it up real bad.

It has to be shut down for weeks to be drained, professionally cleaned, filtration repairs, and a slew of other issues.

The caretaker comes into gator golf to find Monty being consoled by one of the animatronics from the ice rink.

Ice rink animatronic sees the caretaker and greets them like an old friend, confusing Monty.

They explain that the caretaker worked here before and vouches for them, encouraging Monty to give them a chance.

*Sprinkle in some filler stuff*

Couple of days into Gator Golf being shut down and Monty is in a particularly bad mood.

He’s skulking around the dance floor arcade and ends up picking a fight with DJ MM.

He’s riled up well beyond reason and his errant code is shoving error messages in his HUD like crazy.

DJ goes from mildly amused at this tiny metal gator trying to pick a fight with his colossal self to very genuinely concerned.

He doesn’t want to hurt him so stops playing music, reaches out, and firmly holds him in place. That way he can’t hurt himself or anyone else.

By the time Monty’s caretaker gets DJ’s message the poor gator is just kind of shaking on the floor while DJ carefully pets him.

It’s eerily quiet.

Monty proceeds to admit that the error codes and glitches are too much to handle anymore. He can’t even calm himself down. His vision gets covered in messages, he can’t hear over the internal alarms, his joints lock up and his shell pressurizes. It’s too much.

He’s damn near inconsolable until they tell him it’s not his fault. Not entirely. They scold him for thinking he’s above asking for help before it was almost too late, but also assure him that this isn’t normal. At all. And he needs to get help.

Monty allows himself to be helped up and taken to parts and service.

He gets put in the protective cylinder and deep scanned and it’s revealed his code hasn’t been maintenanced since the whole “Vanny” incident.

His caretaker tells him he’s lucky Gator Golf is shut down, it’s going to take weeks to properly defrag this mess.

Time to spend the next couple of night shifts bonding with the Gator.
