I was watching Nat. Geo’s Drain The Oceans episode about the Spanish Armada, and I have to say, first of all, that Drain The Oceans is a lot of fun and really interesting.

Seriously Transformers community, there’s so much potential for OCs in every episode.

But speaking of Transformers and especially the community, it has come to my mind on multiple occasions that there are not enough Cybertronians with boat-alts. I don’t know why, after all, we have the Seacons, but I’ve decided to take this into my own hands. This is your assignment:

Create a boat oc and reblog telling me about them! Spread the news! Boat-alts deserve more love.

Don’t worry about being the most creative, or having a reference or fleshed out character. Just come up with one! It could be a kayak for all I care. I just think the idea of boat alts is super cool, and I wanna spread the word in hopes you all will think so, too.

And of course, for all my moots not in the Transformers fandom and tired of my fixation on it, take any of your ocs and put them in a completely different era with the challenge of seafaring! I promise the result will probably be worth it, just look at the boats from different eras/wars/cultures and then look at how often they sunk.

It’s like Oregon Trail but the river is the ocean!

Anyway, take all I said with a grain of salt, you don’t have to do anything I suggested. But, if you feel like it, or have nothing better to do, I recommend maybe giving it a shot!
