Soft Sunday Headcanons: Night Time Snack Gang

with: Osaumu, Atsumu, Mattsun

I feel like Osamu would be the first one getting up to go after you. He already knows what you're up to and he happily offers to take over. He'll make the brownies for you and you can watch. He'd be extra too, making you some hot tea or something to go with the brownies.

Atsumu might be the one to suggest getting up to make some brownies first. It's like you two read each other's minds. Every time it's just a coin toss to see which of you suggests sneaking down into the kitchen first. There's lots of giggling and smiles while you two cater to your sweet tooth.

Mattsun is pulled out of a dead sleep by the sweet smell of chocolate. At first he thinks you're crazy and teases you a bit. But when you offer him one of the hot gooey brownies right out of the oven, suddenly he's a lot more supportive.

After we just relax on the couch cuddling and he can’t help but smell my hair. I return the favor for him giving him a nice scalp massage running my fingers through his hair.

Sorry it took me so long to get to this. idk what's wrong with me lol

Mattsun is a very hands on kind of partner, and not just in a sexy way. His love language is physical touch so he just likes to be close and have contact with you in some way shape or form whenever possible.

I also think Mattsun is very into self care and doing things to spoil yourself. So if you ask him to help you take care of your hair, he is more than happy to do that with you. He might have a lot of questions at first, just because he wants to make sure he's doing everything the way you want. Once's he's done it once or twice though, he's confident enough to just let you relax while he does all the work.

He likes doing self care things for you, but it really makes him feel loved when you do the same in return. Cuddling him and touching his hair and giving him massages. He eats that stuff up!

I can definitely see all four of these men cooking for you when you're not feeling well.

Poor Hawks isn't as great in the kitchen as the others, but he makes everything with love and gets better with practice.

All four of them love to tease you as well. They know they're attractive and like to show off their yummy muscles for you while in the comfort of your home.

Maybe they also sneak and send you flirty pictures of themselves from other places too though.

These boys are all top tier cuddlers too!

Mattsun, Osamu, and Iwa are naturally so warm.

Hawks is usually trying to steal some of your body heat, but that's okay because you get to be wrapped up in his wings.

Kuroo LOVES Halloween… costumes and candy. The neighborhood kids love coming to your house for trick n treating. Y’all give out the best candy. Of course Kuroo claims he needs your kisses to stop him from turning into Dracula.

Mattsun/Osamu/Atsumu: they are into scary movies and yes they will prank you. Yes they use it as an excuse to get cuddles while y’all watch scary movies. Not that you could ever be too mad at beefy arms snuggling you to keep the monsters at bay.

Soft Sunday: More Halloween!

With: Kuroo, Mattsun, Osamu, Atsumu

Yes! I see Kuroo being super into Halloween too! He loves cheesy decorations like zombie hands sticking out of the ground or those headstones with name puns like “Noah S. Cape” and “Barry D’Alyve.” Your house is always a hit with trick-or-treaters because he’s so good with kids! He just makes Halloween so fun. 🥺 ah this is making me soft.

Mattsun is a menace during Halloween . He thinks it’s funny to see you jump and get spooked. He always manages to convince you to go to haunted houses with him and the enjoyment he gets from your fear would probably piss you off it weren’t for the way he also lets you cling to him. He will also set up jump scares for you at home too so be on your guard.

Osamu isn’t as obnoxious as Mattsun but he still likes suggesting scary movies just for the chance to have you snuggling closer and holding onto him. He likes that he is a source of comfort for you and that you feel safe with him. Halloween with him is also fun because you two get to be creative and make Halloween themed onigiri. He makes orange rice with sesame Jack-o-lantern faces and green rice with a veggie Frankenstein face. He also decorates his shop with spider webs and hanging bats. He loves it.

Atsumu is the type to have his plan backfire. He thinks he’s so clever putting on a horror movie to trick you into crawling into his arms but then ends up being more creeped out by the movie than you. If you ask him to go make popcorn or if he needs to go to the bathroom he’ll pout and ask “what if something gets me babe?” He does like dressing up for Halloween though. He especially likes having fake scars or wounds on his face and acting really dramatic about it.

Soft Sunday Birthday Gift Headcanons

(with: Kuroo, Semi, Sakusa, Atsumu, Osamu, Mattsun)

If you don’t keep Kuroo in check his birthday gifts will get more and more extravagant. He starts with designer brand clothes, moves to jewelry, and eventually ends up taking you on weekend get aways or cruises. He’s not trying to show off, he just honestly thinks celebrating your existence is a big deal.

Semi obviously writes you a personalized song every single year. The songs get more beautiful and amazing each time as your relationship grows. He is constantly finding more things to love about you and the best way to express it is through lyrics and a melody.

Birthdays are a real struggle for Sakusa because he never knows what to get you. He doesn’t really get the big deal about birthdays but he does want yours to be special. Usually he ends up getting you flowers and a small cake and things you might need related to your hobby. (e.g. paint, brushes, pencils, sketchpads if you’re an artist)

Atsumu loves you so much that your birthday might as well be a national holiday. It’s embarrassing sometimes because he wants everyone to know. Because of this, his gifts usually involve taking you out to fancy restaurants or booking out a venti to throw you a party with all your family and friends. Like Kuroo, he believes your existence is something worth celebrating.

Big surprises aren't really Osamu's thing, so usually he's pretty chill about birthday's and simply asks you what you'd like him to get you. It's good for him because it takes away the concern of him getting something you don't like or that is disappointing. If you want a party, he'll organize one for you. Mostly though, he just prefers taking a day off work to spend some quality time for you, making your favorite meals and smothering you in his attention and sexy muscles.

Mattsun is the type to want to spoil you rotten on your birthday. He takes you out and pays for a spa day where you can soak in a hot spring and maybe get a couple's massage together. Afterwards he'll take you to get a mani pedi or to get your hair done. If that's not your thing, he'll take you shopping and let you pick out anything you want. Maybe a nice outfit to wear to the amazing dinner he has planned for you.

Soft Sunday: couch hog

Kuroo/Mattsun/Sakusa will purposely take up all the space on the couch just so you have no where to lounge except on him. You only fake complain sarcastically but they know your happy to cuddle up on this rainy Sunday morning.

Kuroo being an absolutely menace with stealing kisses while you try to do some chores around the house. You take the hint and leave the laundry for tomorrow(for him to do!) and you both go back to hogging the couch all cuddled up.

Soft Sunday: Couch hogs (Kuroo, Mattsun, Sakusa)

Kuroo makes it obvious what he's up to. He has a big obnoxious grin on his face when you come over to the couch and look for a spot to squeeze in. He acts like it's a huge victory for himself when you finally lay on top of him even though it's really a win for the both of you.

Mattsun counters all your complaints with arguments of his own. He puts on an innocent act, saying he can't help he's such a tall guy and that he doesn't mean to take up the whole couch. You can see the mischief in his eyes when he suggests a compromise of you laying on top of him.

Sakusa sort of hopes you don't point out that it's obvious he's trying to ask for cuddles. If you point out that he's taking up all the space, he'll just reply that there's room for both of you. He doesn't specify that he means that your spot is on top of him. If you really give him a hard time, he'll give in and ask softly why you don't just lay on top of him like usual.

Bonus: Tsukishima does not like to admit that he wants to spend the rainy day cuddling with you on the couch. He sort of tries to pull a Sakusa, lounging out on the couch in the hopes that you'll just lay down on him without needing prompting. If you try to call him out though, he turns it around on you. "wow, to think you would refuse to cuddle up with your own boyfriend and keep him warm on such a dreary day." He will carry on like this just to guilt you into climbing up and finally snuggling him.

He is a sucker when you bat your eyes at him… it’s difficult for him to say no… some of the time.

Often will find a reason to give you kisses. Not he ever needed a reason.

He is excited to learn you lived in California but you told him that you didn’t live in the area he went to school. (This me I lived in the Bay Area aka San Francisco)

Tries to play it cool whenever you get real comfortable cuddling into his arms, but he is just melting on the inside. Enjoying your touch

He doesn’t make too much of a big deal about cooking… often he and you plan the meals together. He got keep his macros cause it’s part of his job, but he doesn’t restrict your enjoyment eating your favorite meals.

Again the man will flex shirtless reminding you they are not just for show. Picked up that habit from his friend Mattsun🤣.

Soft Sunday Mattsun

Interesting he says very little in the mornings at least not until he gets his morning kisses and( insert beverage of choice) from you.

He likes giving you scalp massages all while telling you about his day. He very happy to find someone that isn’t freaked out by his job. You even ask about the tools he uses.

You still don’t like horror movies but lucky you he plays twitch streams horror games. Some times you join him as he makes it less scary. His humor makes you forget that you’re playing a horror game. Even if you get scared he doesn’t mind cuddles and something fun to play after.

You both binge watch old episodes of “Courage the Cowardly Dog”. Both got a little inside joke whenever you ask about his day and he is happy to report that no portals of hell have been open on his watch.

Soft Sunday Headcanons: Iwaizumi and Mattsun Edition

Iwaizumi

I love the idea of soft Iwaizumi! He's so tough around everyone else, but a complete pushover when it comes to you. Just bat your eyelashes, pout, or give him the pleading puppy eyes and he gives in to whatever you want. He just always wants to see you smile, so how could ne not?

He definitely doesn't need an excuse for kisses. Iwa kisses are the best kisses. It is known.

I wish I could impress him by saying I lived in California. But maybe living in Japan for 5 years counts too? I think he'd be stoked just to have 'living abroad' in common, even if it's not in the same place.

Do not get me started on this man's arms.

Not pushy, but supportive of any lifestyle changes you want to make. This is the perfect kind of man. lol Meal planning with him is actually really fun. He'll give you ideas for healthy meals but doesn't say a word when you tweak it just a bit to suit your taste.

Mattsun

He definitely doesn't seem like a morning person to me. But I can see him treating your kisses like his coffee. He groans and claims he's not quite himself until give him some sweet smooches.

Hey, you knew his job when you started dating him. It's only fair that you listen to him talk about his day, especially when he's willing to give you a scalp massage while he does it. If you do show particular interest in the details of his job, that's an added bonus to him!

If you're extra spooked by scary games, I can see him giving you warnings every time a jump scare is about to happen. "Close your eyes babe." "It's going to be loud in a second." "There's a creepy monster in the room I'm about to go in." The best course of action would probably be for you NOT to watch him play at all, but he thinks it's cute you want to be involved in his hobbies.

Courage the cowardly dog is so creepy!! That show used to give me nightmares. I'd still watch it though (as kids do). Going back and re-watching ANY old cartoon would be fun with Mattsun though. I'd probably pick Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

Doing laundry shirtless should be a requirement for Iwa too. Just saying.

Soft Sunday Wednesday Headcanons

I've actually been going back into a Hawks phase recently and, not gonna lie, I would love some sexy bird man kisses that make me feel like I'm flying. And today would be particularly good to get some shade from those massive wings he has because it is 106 degrees in Michigan right now folks. AND HUMID TOO!!! It's terrible. I probably wouldn't even let Hawks outside. Keep him in where there's snacks, air conditioning, and cuddles.

"Dreamy bliss." What a great way to describe Mattsun. My impression of him is that he's easygoing but also responsible. He takes care of himself and his business, but he's flexible and can easily just go with the flow if he needs to. Good boyfriend material for sure.

Osamu can definitely be compared to the ocean. He's so big and strong (maybe mysterious... idk... I think he just LOOKS mysterious but actually he's kinda dumb *Said affectionately* like his brother lol) But yeah, he's also gentle and good. He will fight and roughhouse with his twin, but he's always sweet and kind when it comes to you. He loves deeply, as deep as the ocean.

Halloween soft Sunday…granted this partially based on true events

Hajime/Bokuto/Oikawa

These two wasn’t the type to get overly scared at an haunted house, yet here he was with his bestie. Granted Oikawa told him this the prefect place to meet girls. Hajime didn’t see how,most of the girls here had their significant others to cling to. Until he saw you. Already putting your friend’s hand in a death grip. Eventually you traded your friend’s hand for Hajime well developed arm and he actually didn’t mind you clinging to him. He loved it. At the end of the haunted house he asked you out.

(Yes I went to a haunted house. Yes I was scared crazy to the point I was holding the other arm of this lady’s boyfriend. I apologize when it was over and they were really cool about it. I was invited to their wedding a year later.)

Sakusa

The man is a homebody but you’re a creative so he does this for you. He decided on the costumes. He wore a simple black vest suit and you simple black dress. Not much of costume until you both placed foam carved pumpkin heads over your own heads. Two grown adults at an Halloween party as couple of jack o lanterns.

Halloween Headcanons: Iwa, Bokuto, Oikawa, and Sakusa.

I love the concept of bonding with Iwa over the shared experience of being dragged to a haunted house against our better judgment. My best friend is super into Halloween and horror, and I’ve lost count of how many times I ended up at a scary movie or haunted house. Getting the opportunity to cling to Iwa’s arm though makes it totally worth it.

Meeting Bokuto at a haunted house would also be a great experience. He’d come off so confident, noticing you’re scared and assuring you he’d protect you in case anything when awry. Still, somehow he ends up being the one most scared. This works out for you anyway because you can’t really manage to feel scared when your laughing over Bokuto’s antics.

Oikawa also comes off as too confident at first, claiming to his friends that it’s a great way to meet girls and claiming he can protect you. Unfortunately, he also ends up being a scared boy. He can adapt though. He uses his fear to charm you into holding his hand and staying close to keep him safe.

Aw! Sakusa can’t help but step out of his comfort zone because, first of all, you are so excited so how can he deny you? And second, you made a costume that is perfect for hiding his face so he can be as disgruntled under that pumpkin head as he wants without people pointing it out. The pumpkin head also hides his shy smiles that he’d be embarrassed about after seeing how much fun you’re having.

Just any your favorites taking care of you after a very stressful day. My subject matter for this one cause your car breaking down on a hot day is Stress all by itself.

Osamu/Atsumu/Kuroo/Oikawa

Your car breaks down and if it’s possible they already driving to get you. Called the tow truck and stays on the phone until they reach you. Afterwards they take care of your old car. All of them just will out right replace your old car with a better more reliable newer car. Don’t get it twisted all four of these men work hard to buy and enjoy nice things. First class for you princess.

Fun bonus: What kind of car do you think they’ll replace your old car with?😁

Yikes! Car trouble is always so troublesome. I suppose having a sexy volleyball boy to help you out in your time of need makes it a little better though hehe thanks for sanding this in.

Soft Sunday Headcanons: Car Trouble

Let me tell you, I saw Osamu and my brain went right to an image of him dressed in those blue coveralls mechanics wear, engine grease on his hands and face because he insists on fixing the car himself. If the issue is beyond his skill level, he'll definitely take it into a shop or just buy you a new car, but he likes to at least try first. Not that you can complain because he looks so good when he does. Great news is that he changes your oil for you too so you can look forward to seeing mechanic Osamu once every 6 months or 5,000 miles.

Do not let Atsumu try to fix your car. He will definitely make it worse. Please remember to thank him for offering though or else his feelings will be hurt lol He's kind of sensitive and gets down on himself if he feels like he failed you or isn't doing enough to support you. He insists on going with you to get the repairs done or to buy a new one "so they don't take advantage of you" even though he knows as much, if not less, about cars than you do.

Kuroo's biggest concern is that you're okay. He could care less about the car and he's rushing to your side as soon as he finds out something happened. You can apologize and offer to pay for the repairs as much as you want but he won't hear a word of it. He's probably the fastest to offer just to buy you a new one. He always wants you to have the safest, most comfortable ride money can buy.

The thought of anything happening to his love gives Oikawa so much anxiety and even the smallest of car problems makes him stress out so he probably has routine maintenance done on your car pretty often. He spends way too much money at the car shop, agreeing to every suggestion just to make sure you are as safe as possible. He probably buys you a new car every few years just to put his own mind at ease.

Sunday breakfast and cuddles with Mattsun/Osamu. He fixes your favorite(currently I’m enjoying delicious French toast with fruit and bacon) even tries to make shrimp n grits(he doesn’t mess up). After you both stuff full he Carrie’s you back to bed for more late morning cuddles.

Soft Sunday Headcanons: Sunday Breakfast (With: Mattsun and Osamu)

It's hard to decide which is better; the morning cuddles, or watching them cook breakfast. French Toast is good, but I know they have other yummy options up their sleeves too. I'm a fan of greek omelets and hashbrowns in the morning. Hopefully they don't mind indulging in that craving.

Cuddling back up after eating sounds perfect to me too. They both will have you ignore your phones in favor of having that much needed quality time together after a long work week. Both these boys will help you rest and recharge so you're ready to start again on Monday.

They just like the gentle way your fingers massage their scalp. Making a slight headache go away for them. Mostly it’s just relaxing and they are the biggest babies whenever you do that for them.

Atsumu/Osamu playing a round of Mario kart. Loser has to cook dinner and pamper the winner. Of course these two would lose on purpose. *not like they TRY to be distracting but they will flex those pretty muscles, cocky smirks and keep their voice low and deep to whisper trash talk in your ears*

Kuroo/Mattsun will NOT lose on purpose in fact they beat you in the game but they cook you dinner and pamper you anyway cause they’re just that in love with you. They will tease you about you losing the last round of the game though. *Mattsun will be shirtless and Kuroo very much talks dirty all in an effort to get you distracted*

Your favorite just wrapping you in cuddles cause you are so special to them. You’re wrapped up in the comfort and security of their arms. They are your personal cocoon shield against the onslaughts of everyday living. Bliss

I imagine Atsumu at least tries to be discreet about losing on purpose. He’s playful and doesn’t want you to know how badly he wants to pamper you. He’ll pretend to pout about losing, even though it’s obvious he let some of those red shells hit him on purpose.

Osamu is more confident and doesn’t care if you know he lost on purpose. He’ll give you a little smirk before driving right off the side of rainbow road. And as soon as you fly past the finish line he’s all over you, telling you how much he wants to kiss you and asking what you’d like him to cook you for dinner.

Careful playing with Kuroo because he does not pull his punches. He’ll wait until you’re in first place and then launch a blue shell, cackling to himself as he whizzes past you. Don’t be afraid to play dirty either, because no matter who wins Kuroo turns into your big softy and insists on cooking and taking care of you.

Mattsun isn’t as competitive as Kuroo, but he does like to try and get a rise out of you either by flustering you with his teasing or by frustrating you by taking first place in the game for himself. He has a way of making you forget about the game entirely once he turns on his charm, however.
