Occult Legacy Challenge

I've been obsessed with legacy challenges lately and after getting stuck on my Vampire Legacy Challenge, I started thinking of connecting multiple occults in the same legacy. That thought led to this shorter legacy challenge where you can play through all of the occults we currently have available in The Sims 4. Hopefully we get a couple of more occults before the game is finished so we can get a proper 10 generations of occult gameplay!
So without further a do here is the legacy challenge I came up with while at the DMV today:
Generation 1: Nexus
Traits: Cat Lover, Unflirty, Active Career: Athlete Aspiration: Animal (Friend of the Animals)
Master Fitness and Pet Training Skills.
Complete the Athlete Career.
Own a dog and cat at the same time.
Take your dog on a jog every day.
Marry an Alien sim you meet while on your daily jog.
Generation 2: Captain Planet
Traits: Child of the Ocean, Loves the Outdoors, Green Fiend Career: Conservationist Aspiration: Nature (Eco Innovator)
Master Fitness Skill
Complete Conservationist Career
Have a baby with a mermaid
Live in a boat house or a house that is mostly in the water.
Make your neighborhood's eco footprint green.
Go to the beach to comb for seashells and clean any trash at least once a week with your family.
Generation 3: Dr. Frankenstein's Ultimate Creation
Traits: Genius, Goofball, Romantic Career: Engineer Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Master Robotics, Logic, and Mischief Skills.
Complete Serial Romantic Aspiration and Engineer Career.
Build a Servo and have a baby with them.
Generation 4: Life and Death
Traits: Creative, Foodie, Vegetarian Career: Writer Aspiration: Best Selling Author
Master Writing, Piano, and Baking Skills
Complete the Best Selling Author Aspiration
Write the Book of Life. Live with a vampire in Forgotten Hollow while you write it. You need to retreat to a calm, secluded place to write such an important book.
Have a baby with a vampire.
Write 5 Best Sellers.
Generation 5: Jack the Ripper's Return
Traits: Evil, Self-Assured, Music Lover Career: Business Aspiration: Master Vampire
Master the Pipe Organ, Charisma, and Vampire Lore Skills.
Complete the Master Vampire Aspiration.
Kill multiple people and house their graves in a graveyard in your backyard.
Have a baby with a ghost.
Generation 6: Double, Double Toil and Trouble
Traits: Maker, Gloomy, Family-Oriented Career: Gardner Aspiration: Purveyor of Potions
Master Gardening, Handiness, Herbalism and Parenting Skills.
Become a Spellcaster
Have a baby with a Spellcaster
Spend your lifetime trying to bring your ghost parent back to life with magic.
Generation 7: Surprise!
Randomize everything... literally. You're going to randomize all traits and your sim's aspiration.
Complete a career and three other skills of your choosing.
Spend your lifetime trying to become a Plant Sim.

The Grey and the Dark Legacy Challenge
A six generation legacy challenge dedicated to morally grey and villainous sims.
Required packs: Get to Work, Island Living, Journey to Batuu, Strangerville, Werewolves, Vampires, Paranormal
Getting started: Aging can be set to whatever you prefer, including being turned off entirely. Gen 1 can be created alone, or with a spouse, sibling, parents, etc., and can be of any age. The listed aspiration does not have to be picked as the sim's first one; they just need to work on (and ideally complete) it at some point in their lives. This challenge is meant to be flexible and guide storytelling, not to be intentionally difficult, so feel free to make changes to the rules where you need to.
Currently play-testing. As I do, I may make some changes.

Generation 1: For Peace
The more you’ve learned about the world, the better you understand just how vulnerable the planet of Earth really is. You’re devoted to protecting the human race from the wilds of space, to ensure peace and security. Some might not agree with your methods, but you know that the ends justify the means. 
Career: Military (Covert Operator Branch)
Aspiration: Enforcer of Order 
Traits: Gloomy, Paranoid, Neat
Goals: 
Max career and aspiration
Defeat the Mother Plant

Generation 2: For Chaos
As a child, you suffocated under the strict discipline of your parent. You want to be free of their self-righteous hypocrisy and embrace your flaws to the greatest extreme. 
Career: Criminal (Boss)
Aspiration: Public Enemy
Traits: Evil, Hot-Headed, Slob
Goals: 
Max the career and aspiration
Contract werebies and become a werewolf 
Turn 5 Sims into werewolves
Have at least one non-werewolf child (this must be your heir).

Generation 3: For the Unnatural
You grew up in a household that was brutal, crude, and utterly boring. The only interesting people were the faceless whispers you heard in the trees, and the songs of sirens who drowned their lovers in the sea. You’re a romantic who yearns to fall deeper into the nether realm, and your favorite love story has always been a tragic one.
Career: Freelancer (Paranormal Investigator)
Aspiration: Villainous Valentine
Traits: Romantic, Loves Outdoors, Child of the Ocean 
Goals:
Become a mermaid

Perform the Siren’s Call on at least one sim

Generation 4: For the Unknown
You never quite had the talent to invoke the nether realm the way your parent did. You found your solace in technology and science, but there’s a part of you that will always be drawn back to the supernatural.  
Career: Criminal (Oracle)
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief
Traits: Mean, Creative, Geek
Goals:
Max career & aspiration
Max the logic skill
Have an observatory and complete the space prints collection. 
Be abducted by aliens.

Generation 5: For Opportunity
You grew up with your parent’s fascination for the stars, but when you finally make your way into the larger galaxy, you find things aren’t really much different than they are on Earth. Money and greed still make the worlds go round, and though you’re disillusioned, you find yourself adapting quite well to this new truth. 
Career: Astronaut (Interstellar Smuggler)
Aspiration: Galactic Privateer
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Self-Assured, Outgoing
Goals: 
Max career & aspiration 
Use the Listening Device to blackmail other sims
Have at least one child that is not an occult (this must be your heir)

As a member of the ever-changing galactic underworld, you watched your parent so often barely escape with their life, and the fragile nature of mortality became something you despise. You may have been raised with all the “right” connections, but you have greater ambitions than to just stay in the game. You want to build something that lasts, to be something that lasts for centuries.

Midnight bonfire...
Soo Nani recovered smoothly by suggesting a midnight bonfire at Mua Pel'am, I mean she ain't do nothing wrong in the first place! Yas was just having a pre-merbitch fit I guess lmao? But clearly it made them happy enough cause I mean... lol? They gagged Nani a bit! Yas finally gave into the urge to get into the water causing their truest form to appear.. I'm digging it actually. Sims 2 Occult Legacy Challenge
Do you play the Sims 2 and wish you could play with Occult's more? Well do I have the challenge for you!
My Sims 2 occult legacy is a ten generation challenge focused on the occult life stages of the game! 
General Rules:
   -Each Generation must reach the top level of their Career 
   -Each Generation must reach platinum Aspiration level before the next heir may take over
   -Each Generation must complete all Generation goals before the next heir may take over
   -Heir must stay in the same household as parent, siblings may move out or be left behind
   -Keep all urns/tombstones as they are important for a later Gen.
   -Heir may be any gender unless specified
   -You may live wherever you like unless otherwise specified 
   -You may use money cheats to get started but try to keep them to a minimum during later generations
   -Try to avoid using motive/skill cheats (there’s no shame if you need to, this game can be a handful!)

Generation 1: Sim
Aliens are out there, you know it. You’re so sure you’ve dedicated your whole life to proving it. You’re quest for the truth proves to be an obstacle to your love life with most of your partners leaving when you spend more time with your research than with them. But it all pays off when you’re given the best proof you could ask for. Your very own alien baby! You use your position as a journalist to share your discovery, hopefully people will believe you! 
Aspiration: Knowledge
Career: Journalism
Must be Male (only male sim can have alien babies) 
Rules-
     -Be abducted 3 times
     -Max Logic skill
     -Max Science Hobby
     -Have a high interest in Sci-Fi
     -Do not Marry until you have an alien baby and are at the top of Career
     -You may take the “Summon Aliens” Perk but you may only use it once per season cycle

Generation 2: Alien
Having grown up being pushed in peoples faces as “Proof” you’ve come to value your privacy. Being half alien you’re drawn to science and want to know everything you can about it. Along the way you come to love the luxury your salary provides. You provide for your partner and child and spend all of your free time with them.
Aspiration: Fortune
Career: Science
Rules-
     -Go to college and Major in Physics
     -Have no more than 2 friends
     -Marry your first love
     -Have only 1 child
     -Max Logic and Cooking skills
     -Max Cuisine Hobby
     -Have a high interest in food

Generation 3: Bigfoot
You had a very lonely childhood, due to this you spent it it trying to keep occupied. As soon as you were old enough you got a job as an adventurer. Along the way you meet a very friendly Bigfoot and end up with his kid. Despite your busy schedule you always make time for your friends and, of course vacations.
Aspiration: Pleasure
Career: Adventure
Rules-
     -Take 5 Vacations 
     -Have no close relationships until adulthood
     -Make 15 Friends before death
     -Have a baby with Bigfoot
     -Max Active Skill
     -Max Fitness Hobby
     -Start a garden as a child that you keep up as an adult
     -Never retire
     -You may marry Bigfoot

Generation 4: PlantSim
You’ve taken care of your parents garden since you were old enough to dig in the dirt. Unfortunately the exposure to all those pesticides leaves their mark. Your parent can hardly look at you after the accident, luckily their gone so often it doesn’t really matter. You spend as much time with your friends and family as you can, getting them all together once a week. You have a passion for the arts and spend your retirement painting everything you see.
Aspiration: Family
Career: Slacker
Rules-
     -Become a PlantSim
     -Have only one child with another Sim but as many PlantSim children as you want
    -Almost marry your High school sweetheart before breaking up
     -Marry later in life
     -Retire right after reaching the top of career
     -Max Creative and Mechanical Skills
     -Max Nature Hobby

Generation 5: Witch
Despite your parents efforts you’ve always felt like an outsider in your own family. Because of this you seek out a Witch as a teen in the hopes of finding a cure. Sadly your family has no interest in being cured and your efforts cause a rift with your siblings. You turn your attention to helping other sims as a doctor and fill the hole left by your siblings with lots of friends.
Aspiration: Popularity
Career: Medicine
Must be a Normal Sim
Rules-
     -Become a witch as a teen and have a spectral cat
     -Major in Biology
     -Party a lot in University
     -Never Marry
     -Have a good relationship with your parents
     -Max Logic and Cleaning Skills
     -Max Tinkering Hobby

Generation 6: Werewolf
You’re a creative kid and long for the stage. You go to university to just please your parent and spend the first two semesters partying and just barely scraping by. That is until you find the Drama program. Show Biz becomes your life and you live it up. Your actions catch up with you one day when you upset the wrong sim and get turned into a Werewolf as a result. That doesn’t stop you though, you sleep around, party, and break as many hearts as you can. You pass off raising your kids to your parent until they die and you have no choice but to step up.
Aspiration: Romance
Career: Show Business
Rules-
     -Become a Werewolf
     -Go to University and stay undecided until Junior year 
     -Major in Drama
     -Sleep around and marry right before death
     -Have the bare minimum relationship with your children
     -Max Active Skill
     -Play at least 1 instrument

Generation 7: Zombie
You have a rocky relationship with your parent having been raised primarily by your grandparent. The only good thing that came from them is your love of music. After your grandparent dies, you’re desperate to get them back. You study the paranormal and eventually resurrect your grandparent. They come back different and, horrified by your own actions, you lock yourself and your family away in your death filled home.
Aspiration: Family
Career: Paranormal
Rules-
     -Marry young
     -Major in Philosophy
     -Be really good a piano
     -Resurrect your Grandparent
     -Live in a graveyard with all previous Generations tombstones
     -Max Logic and Creative Skills

Generation 8: Ghost
Being friends with the ghosts of your ancestors can get interesting. You’ve listened to their stories and wrote them all down. You go to college before opening your own bookshop, selling your novels to the masses. Seeing the toll family can take, you vow to never marry or have any children of your own. But the loneliness gets to be to much in your old age so you decide to build yourself a “child”.
Aspiration: Knowledge
Career: Own a Bookshop
Rules-
     -Get a scholarship and major in Literature
     -Write a book for each of the previous Generations
     -“Befriend” the ghosts of precious Generations
     -Have no Partners, Friends, or Children
     -Build a Servo 
     -Max Mechanical and Creative Skills

Generation 9: Servo
When your “Parent” dies you think you’ll be fine on your own until one day you almost break down for good. You adopt a baby and raise it as your own, You use your skills as a machine to sore through the ranks of the SCIA, allowing you to provide the best life for your child.

     -Outlive “Parent”
     -Adopt a baby
     -Max Logic
     -Max 3 Hobbies
     -Max sewing

Generation 10: Vampire
You love your Servo “Parent”, so much so you become a vampire so you never have to leave them alone. You failed to consider the side effects of that decision and now spend your nocturnal life becoming a world famous painter. Only downside? You suck. But that’s okay, you have all the time in the world after all!

Career: Sell Paintings
Rules-
     -Become a Vampire
     -Have 100,000 Simoleons
     -Complete Lifetime Wish
     -Max Creative Skill
     -Max Paranormal Interest
     -Max Arts and Crafts Hobby

Little Bonus, I’d recommend using a lifespan mod so you have more time to complete all the goals. Here’s the one I use but any mod that puts the lifespan where you want it will work.

9th generation heir’s half-sister
teenagehood arrives for stella and a lot of transformations too. stella’s mermaid self is now a reality and it certainly brings a lot of new discoveries to the young girl.
from her mother, stella inherits the child of the islands trait. she’s a sulaner to the core - no doubt about it!
with her teen days other changes appear in the horizon. dads are moving to komorebi and stella will stay with her mom in her adored sulani. she’ll miss them all - because, like stella says, «they’re the men of my life!» ❤️
apart from all the changes, stella is still a brilliant student with an unique gift for sciences! she’s the chemistry club leader and is also involved in a series of projects at the school. stella is going to be the team leader of the math olympics this year!!

orion's lookbook
here's my special little guy :3 orion is an alien with the zen guru aspiration so that's why he has fancy lil workout outfits! With the new Werewolves pack coming out I thought I could create an occult legacy challenge. ( I don't know if anyone has done this) There are six generations. It's kinda short. Hope you enjoy it.
Rules
Lifespan must be on normal
Complete aspiration
The money cheat can be applied to sims that don't have jobs
The spouse must be the next occult
The heir must be the next occult (same as the spouse)

So I've been having a crisis for the last day because my Occult Legacy Challenge founder is supposed to marry an alien as part of the challenge rules, but she randomly met this mermaid at the dog park and now they're in love.

at the start of 2021 I began an occult themed legacy challenge I designed 👽💀🧛🏽🧙🏽🧜🏼
I’ve been tweeting about it regularly but I thought I’d also post about it here ! I’m on gen 7 currently but this blog is going to start at the beginning and catch up from there.
spoilers I guess, but here are the legacy challenge rules I’ve been following (subject to change after playtesting):
TS4 Occult 10 Gen challenge
the goal is to playthrough ten generations of occult and occult-oriented sims with family dynamics
I would suggest at least doubling the elder lifespan with MCCC so that you can have generations interact a bit more.
I'd encourage you to fill out the worlds (or find a save that has) and stay within the sim's home world for each generation
feel free to do multiple aspirations in addition to the one listed for those sweet reward store points
each generation has: home world (and a population suggestion), aspiration to complete, career, and skill focus
Gen 1: Non-occult sim infected by the Mother
Must have trait: male/can impregnate
Live in Strangerville and/or oasis springs (populated by aliens)
Strangerville Aspiration
Scientist Career (save inventions for future gens)
Build a servo
Max Logic Skill
Associate frequently with aliens on & off Sixam
Become abducted by aliens and have at least 1 alien baby via abduction
Gen 2: Alien
Live in Del Sol Valley (populated by famous people)
Chief of Mischief Aspiration
torment non alien sims
