shared from Click's subreddit:
Trump actually cheated and there's time for a recount but we need to act NOW!
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheClickOwO/s/KTdyrF1AdD
idk how accurate any of this is but if even some is true I really hope something can be done
(post text is below the cut)
Not enough people are talking about this and there's still time.
Trump did actually cheat and someone compiled all the evidence on twitter: https://x.com/Espaking2/status/1854287198331515005
Edit:
If you don't have twitter, this will show most of the thread but may not have the entire thing: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1854287198331515005.html
People are reposting and saving it because from what I saw in the comments, Elon has been deleting any evidence against trump tampering the election.
- Trump said a few weeks back that he didn't need anymore votes, that he had more than enough.
- Trump also said he had a 'trick up his sleeve' to win.
- A bomb scare was called into areas where voting was taking place, so people would flee the areas and not vote.
- Ballot boxes were then set on fire by trump supporters.
-20 MILLION Ballots went missing. People only just got emails today about their ballots going missing, their signatures suddenly not being accepted, or some outright being destroyed if they didn't vote for trump.
- Trump has a long history of lying, cheating, blackmailing and bribing people to get what he wants.
Kamala was in the lead to win but literally after these ballots were lost and after the russian bomb scare, somehow trump ended up with the highest republican vote in over 20+ years.
- Russian software used for rigging elections was found being used.
All of the evidence is in that tweet but I've also saved a copy of everything in case Elon attacks that post too. There's a link to contact the white house and to (politely) demand a refund due to the evidence of trump cheating:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/
Submit directly to the president.
Click the first option, select your reasoning as election security.
State these pieces of information as a paragraph:
-32 fake bomb threats were called into democratic leaning poll places, rendering polls to be closed for at least an hour
- a lot of people reporting their ballots weren't counted for various reasons that are not very sound seeming (signature invalidation, information that vote counter could not have had)
This all occured in swing states (PA, Nevada, Georigia, ETC.)
- This is all too coincidental that these things happen and swing in his favor after months of hinting of foul play
- Directly state that an investigation for tampering/fraud is required, not just a recount
Again, there is not much time, please, please, please make this spread like wildfire, there's still time to do this!
(trigger warning, SA
(trump is not a good person. Aside from a history of the above and dodgy legal activities, he also has a long history of SA towards women and children. Trump is a convicted p*dophile and project 2025 will strip away the rights from anyone who isn't a cis white man.
Please, please, please spread this information, read through the twitter evidence thread and share it. There's still time to demand an investigation but we have to act NOW

All possible Baird family tree combinations
Canon details and some assumptions:
Lenore Dove and Burdock are "distant cousins" from Burdock's mother's side. And as we know Lenore Dove's mother was Covey and her "pa's a mystery" then they're related through her mother, too. As Snow tried to kill Lucy Gray, it's unlikely she was out in the open as Burdock's mom so that variation is not included.
Lenore Dove's mother is dead. When Haymitch goes to the Covey graveyard, only Lucy Gray and Maude Ivory are there. There is no Barb Azure in the graveyard, which rules her out as Lenore Dove's mother.
We also know that Barb Azure was seeing a "gal" in TBOSAS but we have no idea if they were secretly partners later and adopted or if Barb Azure is bisexual and/or married a man for whatever reason. From SOTR we do learn that same-sex relationships led to punishment and so a legal marriage wouldn't have been possible for Barb Azure and her gal. A covert "roommates" situation where they adopt orphans? Or one of them gets pregnant from a man but they raise the child together? Anyway, this dynamic does open up to some more questions about the specifics, so one visual in particular could be taken a few different ways.
Lucy Gray mentions her mother while her pa's "name is a mystery." I can't remember if Maude Ivory or Barb Azure's parents were mentioned. So while the children of the Covey grandparents all have the circle indicating female, Maude Ivory and Barb Azure could have fathers who were Bairds, but I wasn't going to get hung up on that detail, but just so we're clear on that part. This is also why I labeled their parents as just that--parents, and not mother or father.
Lenore Dove and Burdock are second cousins variations:
Maude Ivory as Lenore Dove's mother and Barb Azure as Burdock's mother:
Tumblr media
***In this case, Barb Azure did marry Everdeen Sr. There isn't a way I can think of that she's with her gal.
Lucy Gray as Lenore Dove's mother and Maude Ivory as Burdock's mother:
Tumblr media
Lenore Dove and Burdock are second-cousins once removed variations:
Lucy Gray as Lenore Dove's mother and Maude Ivory as Burdock's grandmother:
Tumblr media
Maude Ivory as Lenore Dove's mother and Barb Azure as Burdock's grandmother:
Tumblr media
***In this situation, the BAB Partner could be Barb Azure's gal and her daughter could be adopted or conceived with a man but raised with her partner in a "gal pal" situation to the outside authorities. It could also be that Barb Azure married a man and gave birth to a daughter. I tried to keep it general with the term "partner," only the software here requires either male or female and when creating a child defaults to generating the opposite sex so it shows a male partner for Barb Azure.
Lucy Gray as Burdock's grandmother and Maude Ivory as Lenore Dove's mother.
Tumblr media
***While I find this the least likely scenario, if we have LGB as Lenore Dove's mother, then I think we also need to consider she had a secret child that became Burdock's mother.
These are all the Baird family tree variations I can think of based on what we know of canon.
Which one do you think it is?

Elon is capable of orchestrating such breaches AND it is something trump (baselessly) accused Democrats of doing and with trump every accusation is a confession.
The breaches would not have to be systemic or limited to a particular system. If breaches are local and the results within a few percentage points, they would not be easy to discover using data analysis—you have to count the paper ballots.
Look at every precinct in swing states that Harris was favored to win but instead “somehow” lost. Harris has the legal right to request recounts in the swing states—esp PA, WI, NC and MI. Recounts are a legitimate part of the election process.
Computer Scientists are not known for making wild, unfounded allegations so take them seriously.

400 request! Leon x female reader. How they meet or first impressions.
(Also omg I’m so happy you write about resident evil too!)
Thank you, anon! I'm happy I write about Resident Evil too x Travel Pillow Leon Kennedy x female reader, fluff
Looking at the rain smacking against the tarmac through the plane window, you’re not convinced you will be taking off any time soon, despite the airline’s confidence when they’d opened the boarding gate 20 minutes ago. The last of the passengers are finding their seats in the small plane, only two seats either side of the aisle. You feel a knee bash against your thigh and you turn, seeing a handsome man with light brown hair framing bright blue eyes, jeans with a white tee and a semi-smart black jacket stood over the empty seat, looking apologetic.
“Sorry.” He rubs the back of his head, scolding himself for a bad first impression on the pretty girl he is going to be sitting next to for the next three hours. “I swear they make the leg room on these tin cans smaller and smaller every time.”
“No harm done. And, yeah, I agree - trying to get you to splurge for the emergency exit.”
“Mm, and my work won’t cover that expense.” He tugs off his jacket before he sits down, banging his knee against the upturned tray table on the seat in front and winces. “Yep, should’ve got some knee pads.”
You laugh at that and he smiles, sensing it’s genuine in nature. Makes a change.
“Name’s Leon.” He offers you his hand and you take it, giving it a shake and offering your name in return.
“Take it you’re traveling for business, then?” You probe – he’s easy on the eyes and much more interesting to look at than the rain out the window.
“Was.” He leans back, buckling up his seatbelt. “On the way home now. You?”
“Moving - starting a new job on Monday.”
“Oh, wow. Moving via plane?”
You shake your head. “Got a guy driving my stuff over in a few days. Only got the job offer Wednesday.”
“Huh,” Leon mulls. “They sound pretty keen for you.”
“Yeah, well-”
The PA system pings, interrupting you. There’s a crackle of static before a voice rings out. “Good evening, this is your captain speaking. I’m afraid we have a storm warning rolling in and, currently, we are unable to take off. As we are still at the gate and it will be a little while before we can depart, we are going to ask you to disembark.” Groans ring around the plane. “Please be sure to take all your hand luggage with you and be sure to pick up your complimentary drinks voucher from the cabin crew.”
“Bets on it excluding alcohol?” Leon asks, unbuckling his seat belt and getting to his feet as your fellow passengers follow suit - grumbling about the delay, grabbing their bags. “Got anything in the overhead?”
“Yeah.” You get to your feet, having to hunch over a little as the side of the plane slopes. “Black duffel bag.”
“I got it.”
“What a gentleman.” You smile, watching as he raises his arms above his head to reach for your bag, your eyes lingering on the way his biceps tense.
“I may have an ulterior motive.” He smirks, pulling the bag down and hanging it off his shoulder with ease. You hadn’t been exactly subtle while you had admired his arms.
“Oh?”
“Hoping you might partake in a non-complimentary drink with me.”
“I think I can manage that.”
--
“So, what do you do?”
You’d grabbed a cosy table for two in the corner of the airport bar, a clear view of the departures board in sight in case any news came through about your delayed flight. The complimentary drinks voucher had excluded alcohol, so you had ended up with two drinks in front of you – a soda from the airline that you’d quickly polished off, and one from your handsome seat-mate that you made sure to take your time over.
“Me?” Leon shrugs a shoulder. “I work for the government – just boring bureaucratic nonsense, wrapped up in a lot of red tape. How about you?”
“Software.”
“Guess you’re pretty skilled to be in such high demand.”
“Something like that. Just a niche area. Money was too good to say no.” It wasn’t strictly a lie. “And, if I can be so bold, no-one to leave behind?”
“Bingo.”
“Well, I feel that. No-one for me to return home to. Work keeps me too busy – can be away a few days to a few months.”
“Ah, so you don’t always flirt with women you meet on planes?”
“No,” he shakes his head, “This is just an elaborate apology for bashing your knee earlier.” “Gotcha.” You take another sip of your drink. “So, how long have you lived in DC?”
“A few years now, on and off.”
“Good, then you can tell me all of the bad coffee shops and tourist traps I need to avoid.”
Leon shakes his head, grinning all the while. “I can’t hand over that information, you’ve gotta work your way through sucky cups of coffee like every other fine resident that came before you.”
“Please?” You pout, tilting your head and he’s so tempted to give in with how adorable you look.
“Cute, but no. You’ll understand one day.”
“Not even a clue?”
“Uh-uh, I’m sorry.”
“No, you’re not.”
“Yeah,” he lifts his glass to his lips, trying to hide his smile. “I’m not.”
“Is there anything you can tell me about DC, then?”
He ponders for a moment. “They really like brunch.”
“Maybe…” you rest your hand on the table, wondering if you could reach out and touch his, “..you could take me for br-“
“Passengers for delayed flight AA4628 are asked to head towards gate 34 to commence boarding.” The PA system announces from above your heads. “That’s passengers for delayed flight AA4628 are asked to head towards gate 34 to commence boarding. Thank you.”
“Guess we better head back.” Leon downs his drink and gets to his feet, heaving your bag back over his shoulder.
“Mm,” you agree, downing the rest of your own and your question, and following him back to the gate.
--
The drink must’ve gone more to your head than you thought, especially after a frantic few days of packing, late nights from trying to get everything in order before you moved across the country because you don’t remember the plane even taking off. You wake up to your ears popping as the plane begins its descent and slowly open your eyes, wondering why the seat in front of you is at an angle. It’s then you realise you’re not upright in your own seat, instead cuddling up into someone’s chest, almost nuzzling your cheek into them, an arm draped around your shoulders.
You shoot up, the arm sliding off and you see Leon besides you, smiling sleepily, “Hey, sleepyhead.”
“I am so sorry.” You can feel your cheeks burn as you worry if you drooled, or snored or…
“What, for using me as a pillow?” He chuckles. “It’s fine. For the record, I fell asleep too so it was mutually beneficial.”
“Oh. Good.” You nod, settling back into an awkward silence as the plane continues its descent towards the tarmac and you turn your attention to the window, looking down at the place you’ll be calling home for however long.
As the plane lands and begins taxiing to the gate you wonder if you should ask Leon for his number, or give him your own. It would be nice to know someone in DC, after all. You pull your phone out your pocket, about to ask when an air stewardess appears at Leon’s side, whispers in his ear and he smiles, nods in thanks and unbuckles his seatbelt to stand, before he hesitates and turns to look at you, noting your look of confusion.
“Seems work’s been waiting for me since our delay. My boss has pulled some strings to get me off the flight first, so…” He swallows, disappointed - though he knows he shouldn’t be. He knew from the moment you started talking, despite the feeling in his stomach, that it was fantasy where he could pretend that after you’d arrived in DC, the two of you could exchange numbers and he’d take you out for the good coffee, brunch and dinner, buy you flowers, kiss you under the streetlights…
Idiot, he reprimands himself. You’re a sweet girl, too sweet for the world he’s involved in.
“It was nice to meet you.” He smiles. “Good luck with the new job.”
“Oh.” You can’t hide your disappointment as he finally stands, the air stewardess waiting to lead him back up the aisle. “Thanks. Nice to meet you too, Leon.”
He nods, once, and you watch him walk away.
--
You hesitate outside your new work, the building looming over you. You still don’t know how to feel about this, but how can you reject a job offer from the President of the United States? You bin the cup of coffee you’d bought from a cart in the park on the way here – mistake, curse Leon for not giving you any heads up – and walk inside, navigating through security and reception, before being told to head up to floor three where an Ingrid Hunnigan is waiting to brief you, standing by the elevator doors. She’s a smartly dressed woman, curly hair tied up in a bun and studious glasses, though she greets you with a smile and a handshake.
“Welcome to the DSO. Glad to have you – I’ve been admiring your work over the weekend.”
“Oh, thank you. I’m… It’s good to be here.” You correct.
Hunnigan doesn’t press, instead gesturing you forward. “Sorry, I promise we’ll do a whistlestop tour another time, but you’re going to be hitting the ground running this morning – we have an intel briefing at 0915.”
“We?”
“Mm – me, you and Agent Kennedy.”
You’re led to a small meeting room and told to take a seat, but Hunnigan remains standing by the door.
“Coffee? Since I haven’t had chance to give you the tour, it’s the least I could do.”
“Oh, yeah. Thank you.” You reply, taking a seat.
“Be right back.”
You fiddle with the hem of your shirt, looking around at the room – not that there’s much to take in, it’s a small, circular table with six chairs around it, a projector hanging from the ceiling and some adaptor cables poking out the middle for someone to connect a laptop.
The door opens a couple of moments later and you turn your head, eyes widening at the figure who enters.
Leon looks equally surprised for a moment before a smirk crosses his lips and he strides in, taking the seat opposite. He leans back in his chair, crosses his arms and quirks an eyebrow.
“Software, huh?”
--
You wake up to your ears popping as the plane begins its descent, your face resting on Leon’s chest, his arm wrapped around your shoulders and head resting atop your own – an all too familiar routine when you travel together by plane. You nuzzle your cheek into his warmth, feeling too content to open your eyes just yet when you feel him move and place a kiss upon your crown.
“Afraid it’s time to wake up, sweetheart”
“Mm, five more minutes. We can’t be landing already, we only just left the gate.” You protest.
His chuckle vibrates through your cheek. “You were out like a light before we even took off. I’m beginning to worry you only keep me around as your personal travel pillow.”
Sighing, you sit upright, trying to rub the crick out of your neck. “That, among other reasons.”
“What other reasons?”
“Hmm,” you pretend to muse, cupping his face in your palm and press a soft kiss to his lips before pressing your forehead against his. “Cos I love you.”
“Love you more.”

How to read the new Witcher book, Crossroads of Ravens, in English (e-book) [GUIDE]
Thanks to @nohtora for the method, I decided to write up a short post detailing how to use Calibre e-reader to read a side-by-side English translation from the Polish text.
This post is dated 12/02/2024 - as of yet, no English translation has been scheduled, nor even announced. I am writing this because I have seen many fans say they want to read the book and are sad because they can't read Polish and don't want to wait forever for a translation and get to posting memes already. Well, me too.
So, I read it.
Because, if you are an international fan like I, and do not live in Poland, you can still purchase a copy of the new book of Rozdroże kruków ("Crossroads of Ravens") and read it... also in English.
How, you might ask? Well, by buying it and translating it yourself... or rather, not yourself, but with the assistance of... *Percival Schuttenbach voice* modern technology!
Now, when I read it, I did the foolish thing of copying and pasting literally page-by-page into Google Translate. Noels (nohtora) had a much better solution, which I will detail here.
This method is easy, free (well you gotta buy the book, but not the software) and accessible (available on Mac, PC, Linux). If you have access to a computer and are OK with reading from screens, I recommend this.
In total, it took me about 10 to 20 minutes to set up from scratch.
Step 1. Download Calibre, a free and open-source e-reader program. Step 2. Install the translation plugin - also free and open-source. Step 3. Purchase the e-book. Step 4. Open the e-book with the plugin, translate. Step 5. Read!
Step 1: Install your e-book reader.
Tumblr media
Download Calibre here. It is a free and open-source e-reader program for laptops/computers (although it does not run on mobile devices). You install it like any other program on your computer (Windows, MacOS, or Linux).
Step 2: Download the translation plugin.
youtube
Use this free Calibre plugin to translate e-books.
Watch until 1:00 to install the plugin. The rest of the video you should return to later, during Step 4.
Notes of steps to install plugin: (1) Open Preferences. (2) Get plugins. (3) Get "Ebook Translator" from Author "bookfere.com"
Step 3: Buy the book.
You can purchase Rozdroże kruków online for about $8.
I purchased my copy from Legimi, which I will show you now. I didn't really poke around for other websites, it seems like Legimi had it the quickest. But other sites will have this ebook eventually, so don't feel pressured to get it from Legimi, specifically. I just wanted to include a "how to purchase" step in this guide because (1) it's a direct link to get it (2) in case people felt anxious about navigating a UI they can't read.
Tumblr media
This is what the page for Rozdroże kruków looks like. As you can see, it is currently 34.99 zł, or: $8.57 US, $13.21 Aus, £6.77, or €8.15.
For me, it was $8.49 after foreign transaction fees. (I paid through PayPal).
But before you buy anything, you first need to create an account.
Tumblr media
From the homepage, click the yellow button, "Zarejestruj się", "Sign up".
Tumblr media
Put your username, email address, password, and confirm password. Check the first box to accept the terms of service. Don't check the second box unless you want their newsletter.
I kind of... already bought the book, so I can't buy it again on this account. I have selected a couple of other books for demonstration purposes. Same process.
Tumblr media
Select the "ebook" tab, the right one on the ribbon (underlined in green), to buy the singular book and not a subscription. Then select the yellow button, "Dodaj do koszyka", or "Add to cart".
Tumblr media
After adding to your cart, click the yellow button to go to your cart and checkout.
Tumblr media
Check to accept the digital distribution agreement.
Tumblr media
You can then pay with your credit card or PayPal. (From top to bottom, left to right: "First and last name on card" "Credit card number" "Expiration date" "Security code").
Don't worry that it says you will pay in złoty, it will be converted. There may be a foreign transaction fee depending on your bank, but it is typically small (around 3%). If you are only buying an $8 book, that will not be much.
Tumblr media
From here, you are going to want to click the WHITE button: "Przejdź do półki", "Go to shelf". (The green button is to download their application, which we're not gonna do for this).
If you skip this on accident, just go to your profile in the top right corner and click "Półka", "Shelf", to see the books on your account.
Tumblr media
You will see it in your shelf. Click on it.
Tumblr media
Click the yellow button "EPUB" to download it as a .epub format. Save to your Downloads or where-ever is convenient.
Step 4: Open the book in Calibre.
Refer back to the video from Step 2 for this section and watch the part on how to use the plugin. I will add my example here, too.
Open Calibre. Click "Add Book" at the top of the ribbon. Locate rozdroze-krukow.epub from where you saved it. It will be copied to your Calibre library.
Tumblr media
Before starting the translation, make sure to adjust settings in the Translate Book option (sometimes hidden in the ribbon as you can see in my screenshot - just click the kebab menu on the right to bring it up) to export the file the way you would like it to be formatted. I also recommend checking the box in "General" to allow it to merge paragraphs, Google Translate tends to work better when it has more context.
Tumblr media
Select Translate Book as shown in the video. Translate into English (or - hey - language of your choice! Sky's the limit). You can also use different translation programs if you'd like, the default is Google.
Tumblr media
You should select "Output" at the top right after this is complete.
Tumblr media
It will create a separate epub in your library, tagged as "Translation."
Step 5: Read it and have fun! It's a fun read!
Tumblr media
I set up my formatting this way because I want to read a Polish paragraph, then an English paragraph, but you can also set it up to be side-by-side (left page in Polish, right page in English), or even hide the original text if you're not interested and just want the translation.
The days of manually copying-pasting into Google translate are over! Thanks again to Noels for sharing this method in the Discord.
Now, this translation will NOT be 100% perfect - this is a Sapkowski novel after all; humans have difficult translating him, and this is only a machine. I wrote a Reddit post about some caveats to this desperate method of translation, and some silliness I specifically encountered with this book (light spoilers, I mention a couple of characters and settings, but no plot points).
My rule of thumb for when the translation is weird: Pay attention to the context. It is usually not too hard to figure out what the translation meant. If you have real trouble understanding it, or are just curious, Google the Polish phrase that it seems to be hitching on. Make use of Reverso Context, Reddit (r/learnpolish), and Polish learning forums.
Oh, and make sure to watch out for "grasshoppers" ;)
Finally, I recommend you also support the official English translation when it does come out; if not to compare translations, to show Orbit-Gollancz that English readers do want more translations (and ideally we'd like them sooner rather than later).
Good luck on the path ~ Powodzenia na szlaku ~

Dumb donald Chump crossed all my lines, so I told his crimes to the FBI. 'Cause Kamala needed cold hard proof, so I gave her some. Now she's got the envelope, where you think she got it from?
To report donald j. trump and all of his potential allies to the FBI for the federal crimes of 2024 election fraud:
https://tips.fbi.gov/home Choice 1: Federal Election Crime
Choice 2: Voter/Ballot Fraud/Corrupt Election Official

How did you discover the election fraud? Donald J. Trump is an impeached, congressionally investigated, criminally indicted and prosecuted insurrectionist attempting to hold federal office in violation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
What false information was provided? The lies that a U.S. national popular vote, or a ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court, could clear Donald J. Trump's insurrectionist disqualification, instead of a two-thirds vote of the House and Senate.

Did an election official violate a voting law? Yes
Were ballots from the election destroyed? Unknown

Trump in violation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. State electors and governors attempting to vote for and create certificates of ascertainment to elect Donald J. Trump would be instantly disqualified from holding office per Sec3/14A, thereby rendering all their actions unlawful.

Electoral College Elector Selection Process Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution requires each state legislature to determine how electors for the state are to be chosen, but it disqualifies any person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, from being an elector. Under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, any person who has sworn an oath to support the United States Constitution in order to hold either a state or federal office, and later rebelled against the United States directly or by giving assistance to those doing so, is disqualified from being an elector. Congress may remove this disqualification by a two-thirds vote in each house. (Wikipedia)
Conspiracy against the United States, or conspiracy to defraud the United States, is a federal offense in the United States of America under 18 U.S.C. § 371. The statute originated under a federal law enacted in 1867 that was codified in the Revised Statutes of the United States in 1874, in a subsequent codification of federal penal statutes in 1909, and ultimately in the United States Code in 1948. The crime is that of two or more persons who conspire to commit an offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States.
Statute 18 U.S.C. § 371 provides that:
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
Corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding is a felony under U.S. federal law. It was enacted as part of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 in reaction to the Enron scandal, and closed a legal loophole on who could be charged with evidence tampering by defining the new crime very broadly.
This part of the Act later became known as a charge against defendants associated with the 2021 U.S. Capitol attack for attempting to obstruct that year's Electoral College vote count, as well as former President Donald Trump for broader alleged activities to obstruct the election. In June 2024, the Supreme Court ruled in Fischer v. United States that the statute could only be applied when the defendant impaired a physical document or object used in an official proceeding or attempted to do so, a higher bar for conviction than had been used in trials to that point.
Legal basis The crime is codified as 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)(2). The relevant subsection reads:
(c) Whoever corruptly—
(1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object's integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or (2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.
The term "official proceeding" is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 1515(a)(1) to include proceedings before federal judges, Congress, federal government agencies, and regulators of insurance businesses.
Conspiracy against rights is a federal offense in the United States of America under 18 U.S.C. § 241:
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person […] in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same;…
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Charges of conspiracy against rights concerning federal election offenses cover activities subverting the integrity of federal elections and do not require direct action towards an individual voter. Election conspiracies prosecuted under conspiracy against rights can be classified as either public schemes (where public officials commit a §241 violation under color of law) or private schemes (where conspirators impinge on the ability for voters to vote).
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced on July 18, 2023, that she had charged sixteen individuals with eight felony counts each, including forgery and conspiracy, alleging they had knowingly signed certificates of ascertainment falsely claiming they were "duly elected and qualified electors" for Michigan. One defendant entered into a cooperation agreement with prosecutors in October 2023 in exchange for charges against him being dropped. Nessel's office disclosed during an April 2024 court hearing that Trump, Meadows, Giuliani and Ellis were unindicted co-conspirators.
On August 1, 2023, at the request of Jack Smith and the Justice Department, a federal grand jury indicted Trump on charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy against rights, obstructing an official proceeding and conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding. The indictment accused Trump of orchestrating a criminal conspiracy to subvert the 2020 election, and identified the fake electors scheme as part of the conspiracy.
On August 15, 2023, Trump and eighteen others were indicted in Georgia. The defendants, who included Trump, Giuliani, Eastman, Meadows, Chesebro, Sidney Powell, David Shafer and Shawn Still among others, were charged with a variety of offenses, many of which related to involvement in the fake electors plot. On October 20, Chesebro pleaded guilty to conspiring to file a false document and was sentenced to five years of probation; he also agreed to testify against the other defendants. Three other defendants (including Powell) also pleaded guilty to charges.
On December 6, 2023, a Clark County, Nevada, grand jury indicted six Republican party officials, including the chair of the Nevada Republican Party, on two felony charges each of submitting fraudulent documents to state and local officials.
By December 2023, 24 fake electors had been criminally charged in three states, and Chesebro was "a witness in all of the cases". However, in January 2024, the Attorney General of New Mexico stated that the fake electors couldn't be prosecuted given the laws of that state.
An Arizona grand jury named eleven alleged fake electors in an April 2024 indictment. Among those named were former Arizona Republican Party chair Kelli Ward and Tyler Bowyer, chief operating officer of Turning Point USA. Names of seven others charged were redacted from the indictment, and Trump was listed as "Unindicted Coconspirator 1". The Washington Post reported the redacted individuals were Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, Christina Bobb, Boris Epshteyn and Mike Roman. The Post reported that names of those indicted who were not in Arizona were redacted until they could be served with their indictments.

The first is a statement regarding a recount being triggered in the Pennsylvania Senate race. It reads:
“Unofficial Results in U.S. Senate Race Trigger Legally Required Automatic State Recount
Harrisburg, PA — Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt announced today that unofficial results in the Nov. 5 general election race for U.S.
Senate have triggered a legally required statewide recount.
Senator Bob Casey and Dave McCormick have vote totals within the one-half of 1 percent margin that triggers a mandatory recount under state law.
As of today, the unofficial returns for the U.S. Senate race submitted by all 67 counties show the following results for the top two candidates:
Robert P. Casey Jr. - 3,350,972 (48.50%)
David H. McCormick - 3,380,310 (48.93%)
Once counties finish counting their ballots, they must begin the recount no later than Wednesday, Nov. 20. They must complete the recount by noon on Nov. 26 and must report results to the Secretary by noon on Nov. 27. Results of the recount will not be published until Nov. 27.
The Department estimates that the recount cost will exceed $1 million of taxpayer funds.
This is the eighth time the automatic recount provision has been triggered since the passage of Act 97 of 2004. In the four cases in which the recount was carried out, the initial results of the election were affirmed. Those recounts and the costs for each were as follows:
2022 primary: Oz vs. McCormick, Republican race for U.S. Senate, $1,052,609.
2021 general: Dumas vs. Crompton, Commonwealth Court, $1,117,180.
2011 primary: Boockvar vs. Ernsberger, Democratic race for Commonwealth Court, $525,006.70.
2009 general: Lazarus vs. Colville vs. Smith, Superior Court race, $541,698.56.
For more information about the legally mandated automatic recount procedures, see the Department's directive on this topic (link.mediaoutreach.meltwater.com).
Update on outstanding ballot totals
As of this afternoon, county election officials reported there are 60,366 uncounted provisional ballots and 20,155 uncounted mail-in and absentee ballots. That 80,521 total includes all ballots for which county boards of elections have not yet made a final resolution regarding their validity or eligibility to be counted.
As of the issuance of this release, the Department's election returns page [link.mediaoutreach.meltwater.com] reflects the unofficial totals that counties have reported. These numbers will change beginning Thursday morning, Nov. 14, as counties continue to canvass provisional ballots and otherwise count ballots. These changes are unrelated to the recount.”
The second image depicts the first page of a formal letter addressed to Vice President Kamala Harris from election security experts urging an election recount in key states. It reads:
“November 13, 2024
The Honorable Kamala Harris
The White House
Office of the Vice President
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N. W.
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Vice President Harris,
We write to alert you to serious election security breaches that have threatened the security and integrity of the 2024 elections, and to identify ways to ensure that the will of the voters is reflected and that voters should have confidence in the result. The most effective manner of doing so is through targeted recounts requested by the candidate. In the light of the breaches we ask that you formally request hand recounts in at least the states of Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. We have no evidence that the outcomes of the elections in those states were actually compromised as a result of the security breaches, and we are not suggesting that they were. But binding risk-limiting audits (RLAs) or hand recounts should be routine for all elections, especially when the stakes are high and the results are close. We believe that, under the current circumstances when massive software breaches are known and documented, recounts are necessary and appropriate to remove all potential doubt and to set an example for security best practices in all elections.
In 2022, records, video camera footage, and deposition testimony produced in a civil case in Georgia' disclosed that its voting system, used statewide, had been breached over multiple days by operatives hired by attorneys for Donald Trump. The evidence showed that the operatives made copies of the software”
