The Amiga 500 is considered one of Commodore's most important home computers, introduced in 1987; it was important because of how advanced the features were for the time. It was based on a Motorola 68000 CPU running at 7.16 MHz in NTSC versions and at 7.09 MHz for PAL ones, with the main version of 512 KB RAM expandable up to 9 MB. Its OCS provided respectable graphics performance, going up to 736×567 interlaced, with 32 colors out of 4096. The sound system consisted of four 8-bit PCM channels and could give out stereo at as high as 28 kHz. With the keyboard integrated and a compact design, it was ready for home users, while the multitasking operating system, AmigaOS, differentiated it from the rest. At a price the market could afford and featuring multimedia capabilities, this combination contributed to its popularity as it went on to sell about 2.6 million units worldwide.

We believe that alliances with social democracy are an opportunistic manifestation of class collaboration and a serious obstacle to revolutionary struggle; the conformation of fronts of that nature will always be a liquidating element of the Communist Party; and the absence of a communist party is the biggest attack on the working class and its immediate and historical objectives.
There are, for example, expressions of those alliances that have no justification, and one of them is support for the Democratic Party of the US Communist Party. And it is that when the perspective of the interests of the working class is set aside and the logic of the “lesser evil” is placed even the imperialist policy of the Democratic Party may seem better to the imperialist policy of the Republican Party. Thus several communist parties justify their support for bourgeois policies under the pretext of struggle against the "ultra-right" and fascism.
We have great respect for the communists' policy against fascism during World War II, but we cannot deny that some elements of that policy are connected to browderism, to the opportunist platform of the 20th Congress of the CPSU, to Eurocommunism, and in some way they form a platform of certain similarities to that of opportunism in the II International.
It is a paradox that those who oppose the elaboration of a unified revolutionary strategy hold a common opportunist strategy on the grounds that the generalization of experience excludes the importance of national struggle, the specificities, the particularities; as a contraband they have a general strategy based on the possibility of a peaceful transition from capitalism to socialism - which has already demonstrated its unfeasibility in Chile and in the strongholds of Eurocommunism (Italy and France); in national ways to socialism, all of them with the same components: denial of the dictatorship of the proletariat, alliance with social democracy, pluriclassist political formations, capitalist management of economy, elevation of bourgeois democracy to absolute value, or if to put it roughly, that the communists manage the governments of capitalism.

Cultural Appropriation in Pop Paganism: What Not To Do
In modern media—and in modern witch craft—there are various circumstances of cultural appropriation. Sometimes by choosing to try something new you might be immensely appropriating something and never realize. So, it's important to keep a sharp mind and research, especially if you're a pop witch.
Most forms of media have something based on another culture. For example, Genshin Impact and Avatar the Last Airbender based each Nation on one or more cultures, even if it's not immediately obvious. When something takes root in another culture, you need to stop and think: "Is it okay if I work with this?"
Some things, like figures based on Arabic deities and historical figures, are generally okay to work with. Other things, like figures based on closed cultures, such as Lilith or Native deities, are not.
When picking up work with a pop figure, you are expected to research it just as well as you would research something in traditional witchcraft, and keep in mind all effects of you working with something.
Some questions to ask yourself, might be: Does this stir discourse in the cultures it's based on?
If it stirs discourse, am I part of the culture it's based on?
Is this character misrepresenting/whitewashed/negatively representing their original figure?
Is this based on a real world practice? If so, does it belong to a closed culture?
What are this culture's rules for outsiders partaking?
Does the source material forbid outsiders from partaking?
At the end of the day, a culture might just simply have rules for you to use something.
Like with white sage—as a native, native tribes don't actually forbid you from using it, we just ask that you obtain it from a culturally appropriate source, such as a native seller or home grown. Some tribes might ask you to smudge properly, and if a local tribe does, then please research how to do so. We also, in general, ask you not to kill the flame, as you would be killing a spirit.
It might just be simple as that. But for some things, it might be outright forbidden for you to do something.
Don't abuse pop culture to get around that.

sometimes the doubt creeps in, and it won't let go. i will never understand why PCM sort of... "died." this makes me question myself over and over. the only community i've found is some people here on tumblr. outside of here, i couldn't find anyone else. it seems like everyone else eventually "moves on" to ceremonial magick or something. even the only author on PCM (Taylor Ellwood) seems to have taken a huge step back and doesn't even practice anymore... his focus is Goetia.
i'm afraid there's a reason for that. i'm afraid i don't want to let go of PCM because it's my spark of life. but why would 99,9% of PCM/PCP eventually abandon the ship? i don't get it. unless... i'm delusional, and they're right.
i feel so sad.

brooo its okay ull be fine 😭😭 just id tbh suggest getting an early start on like- every subject tbh in the holidays, but esp maths and physics, like physics i had a bit of a problem bc i didnt do it as much in the summer, maths i dealt with relatively okay coz id finished half the book in the holidays, so yeah doing stuff early helps sjbsbdb
also jc just like, keep rereading and pay attention to teachers notes they help! i just treated jc and treasure chest like any other book and i was good :D history rattofy n do dates coz theyve been tested before n ull be okay! geoooo ummm if youre icse board i can tell u like the chapter groupings for section b that NEVER change if u dont have it, honestly i only studied like 8 chapters throughout the year and i survived 💀 id suggest u choose ur questions in yhe beginning of the yr and stick to doing them thoroughly coz u get practice then :D good luck dwdw ull survive ‼️‼️‼️

An Introduction to Dæmonism
Dæmons, derived from Greek mythology, are creatures that make an appearance in His Dark Materials and related content. Since the release of the books, movie, and show, a practice has come to light because of it.
Dæmonism is a form of manifestation where you personify your "inner voice" (conscience) as a metaphysical creature. This practice isn't necessarily paganism or witchcraft, but can be used as part of your craft.
When incorporating a dæmon as part of your craft, this would be a form of pop magic if you choose to use His Dark Materials as a reference.
It's important to keep in mind that although similar, dæmons are not spirit guides and should not be treated as such. They may give you advice on things, and they can stand in for a familiar depending on the witch, but they're not there to guide you, per say, as they're an embodiment of yourself.
Depending on how much you let your subconscious to shine, a dæmon might choose their own form and name, but in many cases, you would have to guide them to settle into a form and help them with this. If you choose a form for your demon, there are many methods. Analytic Form is choosing a form based on your personality traits, Pullman Form aligns more closely with the series, and so forth. Not all dæmons have to settle into a singular form, and can have more than one form besides their true one (or not have a true form at all). You can also have more than one dæmon.
As this is a manifestation, you can stop at any point or time if this doesn't feel right for you. You don't need to have read or watch the series to try this, and if you're a pop witch who works with the series' pantheons, you do not need a dæmon to be valid.

PCM September 1983
The cover story in this issue explained how to program your "PoCo" to play music; the Model 100's BASIC didn't have "musical note" commands the way the Color Computer's Extended Color BASIC did. One article by Frank Hogg, whose company offered a variety of advanced technology for the Color Computer, explained how to use control-key combinations to move the Model 100's cursor in a very similar fashion to the WordStar word processor. Lonnie Falk's editorial explained how he'd taken his "Portable Computer" to the great pyramids of Egypt and computed their height there.

TDK InvenSense T5837 PDM mic with low power auto-wake on sound 🔊🎤🔋
On a recent Great Search, we looked at I2S microphones

- but we also glanced at the latest offerings from TDK InvenSense
and found an interesting PDM mic with 'low power auto-wake' - the T5837
so we designed this breakout for it. There are a lot of parts because it's 1.8V only, and we wanted to make it 3.3V compatible, so there are shifters in both directions.
