"i'm pretty alright, i guess. gotta be if you picked me as your best friend," nudges her with his elbow just a bit as he feels her looking at him. his eyes lock with hers, able to tell heart beat has gotten faster. sudden feeling of her lips crashing onto his catches him entirely off guard, eyes wide and eyebrows lifted for a split second as he's slowly relaxing into the kiss, palms resting along her back as he pulls her in even closer.

orla sighed and then smiled gently, "you can kick his ass if you want. wouldn't do much good now, i've broken up with him. the girl he cheated on me with can deal with his lying ass now." she sighed and swallowed thickly as he replied that he loved her, too. she slipped her hand into his and laced their fingers together before pressing a kiss to his hand, "you're my very best friend. better than anyone." orla looked up at him, her hazel hues flickering over his features for a moment. she felt her heart race in her chest and bit into her lower lip. without much thought, she leaned up and pressed her lips to his. her hand cupped his jaw and she breathed him in as she deepened the kiss between them.
