Computer, gently pats its human smeet over the head. “I must return to Master, Zim’s side. The system will alert us when it has found the contagion.”
Digital antennae raise, before lowering forward, lips wrinkling, somewhat. “Perhaps, you will engage in an attempt on cleansing rituals.”
Dib lifted an arm - to sniff test - wiggling his nose, only to shrug. “Eh, I’m good, still brooding.” He grins at Computers’ disgust.
“Plus, you kinda bathed me when you treated my wounds.”
“I do not know how, Zim managed, to grow attached.” Computer says sincerely, though it is fortunate all the same. “To a creature as unhygienic as you, Master Dib,” Fondness, in their digital voice. “giving his phobia of germs.”
Tone turn teasing, in hopes, to lighten the weight of its Master’s heavy heart. “I am a nonorganic, and your indifference to proper bathing and teeth care, alarms even, I.”
“Hey!” Dib burst out laughing. “You love me!”
“Love - Dibble- human raised, you, are well aware, does not negate the ability to concern oneself, in the importance, of living things needing to sustain upkeep, to live long, healthy and happy lives.”
Computer, lightly scolds.
“It heightens that awareness. Breeds close bonds, encouraging the survival of individuals, not only the group. Attaching the baggaging to secure the happiness of one’s Tribe, rather only yours, or in your modern earthen words, family.”
