I made a smoothie that a texture like a Wendy's frostie and I'm eating it with a spoon (because I'm out of straws...). It tastes pretty good and is fairly healthy!
Recipe:
1/4 cup frozen spinach
1 cup frozen fruit
1 scoop vanilla slim fast meal replacement shake (can also sub protein powder, tho you might need to add extra fruit)
Milk to fill line.
Splash some milk in the bottom of the blender cup. (You're basically going to be building layers so everything blends properly and you don't get random clumps stuck to the sides.) Next add your frozen spinach. Then your frozen fruit. Finally, fill your cup to the max fill line with milk. Screw on bladed cap. Blend until you see all the layers disappear. Unscrew cap, grab a spoon, & enjoy!
(Side note: if you have a ninja like me, some bits of fruit &/or spinach will probably be lodged on the blades. Kind of irritating to rinse off but no big deal.)
I always add some type of leafy green to my smoothies because it's an easy way to get an extra serving of veggies in you. If you get the ratios right (like in my recipe), you really don't taste them. The spinach probably actually helps cut down on the overwhelming sweetness.
I'm not the greatest at actually using my culinary skills but I've found ways to still eat fairly healthy even when I can barely muster the effort. It's always a journey of struggle. I've been cooking since I was 8 and up until I was in my mid twenties, I just didn't have any sense of joy when it came to cooking for myself. My attitude was (and still is, I guess) closer to someone who works in a restaurant cooking amazing food for others but when they get home chooses doritos for dinner lol.

Portable Blender Market to Reach $0.29 Billion by 2031
Meticulous Research®—a leading global market research company, published a research report titled ‘Portable Blender Market—Global Opportunity Analysis and Industry Forecast (2025-2032).’ According to this latest publication from Meticulous Research®, the Portable Blender market is expected to reach $0.29 billion by 2032, at a CAGR of 7.9% from 2025 to 2032.
The growth of the portable blender market is being driven by increased consumer demand for on-the-go food & beverages, the rising adoption of portable kitchen appliances, and the rise in e-commerce. However, short battery life in low-cost models may restrain the market’s growth.
Additionally, the integration of smart features in portable blenders and increasing partnerships between fitness brands and health food companies are expected to create significant market growth opportunities. However, limited power output compared to traditional blenders is a significant challenge affecting the market’s growth.
The increasing preference for compact, multi-functional kitchen appliances and the growing demand for USB-rechargeable blenders that offer universal charging compatibility are prominent trends in this market.
Key Players:
The portable blender market is characterized by a moderately competitive scenario due to the presence of many large- and small-sized global, regional, and local players. The key players operating in the Portable Blender market are BELLA Sensio Inc. (U.S.), Sunbeam Products, Inc. (U.S.), Bilaca Electric Co., Ltd. (China), Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company (U.S.), BlendJet Inc. (U.S.), Nutribullet, LLC (U.S.), Blufied Limited (China), BOSCH Home Appliances (BSH Home Appliances Group) (Germany), Conair Corporation (U.S.), SharkNinja Operating LLC (U.S.), Gourmia Inc. (U.S.), Keyton USA (U.S.), Little Bees LLC (U.S.), Homeland Housewares LLC (U.S.), and Capital Brands LLC  (U.S.), and Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd. (India).
The portable blender market is segmented based on material, distribution channel, and motor power. The report also evaluates industry competitors and analyzes the Portable Blender market at the regional and country-level markets.
Among the materials studied in this report, the plastic segment is anticipated to dominate the portable blender market. The affordability of plastic makes it accessible to price-sensitive consumers, while its lightweight construction appeals to on-the-go users. Additionally, high demand in emerging markets, greater design flexibility in shapes and sizes, plastic’s resistance to shattering (making it ideal for portable products), and the widespread availability of raw materials contribute to the segment’s dominant position in the market.
Among the distribution channels studied in this report, the offline segment is anticipated to dominate the portable blender market. Consumers’ preference for in-person inspection of product quality, retail partnerships that extend reach to non-digital consumers, in-store promotions that drive foot traffic, immediate product availability, and the higher penetration of offline stores in rural and semi-urban areas are factors contributing to the segment's dominant position in the portable blender market.
Among the motor power categories studied in this report, the low power (under 200 Watts) segment is anticipated to dominate the portable blender market. The segment’s dominant position in the portable blender market can be attributed to several factors. These include cost-effectiveness, making it appealing to a broad consumer base; the availability of lightweight models suited for portability and casual use; energy efficiency, which caters to eco-conscious users; and suitability for basic blending tasks, fulfilling quick and light blending needs while being less battery-intensive, thus extending battery life.
Geographic Review
This research report analyzes major geographies and provides a comprehensive analysis of North America (U.S., Canada), Europe (Germany, U.K., Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Netherlands, Rest of Europe), Asia-Pacific (Japan, China, India, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Rest of Asia-Pacific), Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Rest of Latin America), and the Middle East & Africa (UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Rest of the Middle East & Africa)
In 2025, North America is expected to account for the largest share of the portable blender market, followed by Asia-Pacific and Europe. North America's dominant position in the portable blender market can be attributed to several factors, including consumers’ high disposable incomes, well-established e-commerce infrastructure, growing health & wellness trends, the presence of leading brands, increased demand for convenient appliances among young professionals, and the growing popularity of portable blenders for outdoor and travel use.
However, the market in Asia-Pacific is projected to register the highest CAGR during the forecast period.

3D model of an Arctic Shufaet, my fictional species ~
Made in Blender.
Their idea is old and they (as well as other related species), appeared in some of my older art, but I haven't worked with their lore and design much. At some point they became so insignificant that even just their existence in canon was questionable.
But some time ago one of them appeared in my newest story as one of the main characters, so I tried to make a model for this species, while trying to figure out who they are and how to depict them. I usually perceive them as some "alternative wolves" from my world, but in fact they are some their very own thing.
They are quite huge solitary predators from distant northern lands, still quite mysterious though and not really willing to reveal their secrets (they are known as unfriendly loners, so this is natural)
They are also drawn to crystals - in one of my previous posts I hinted that a Kotie should be careful when wandering through the crystal cave, as there are some other creatures who are attracted to such places. And so, I can finally show you who these creatures are :)

my guy !! my specialest boy who says Dont Put Me In A Situation and then i do !!!!
an intro post for Age, his design for both in gear and out + his relationship to everyone in the chain as basic as i can get it
V additional thoughts under the cut V
i knew before anything else when i started The First Comic that i NEEDED a more visually distinct design for Age compared to Wild because
he needed to look distinct from Wild for obvious reasons. i didnt wanna just stick Age in the champions tunic, people are going to get even more confused than they already are
aoc puts Age in the soldiers set the majority of the game Anyway so his design just marries 3 different sets with the soldier's set (pauldrons (im not drawing the engravings man i barely do it for wars) chestplate), the champion's tunic (champion blues), and the royal guard set (the fabric cut specifically-- like middle cut of the gambeson reaching above the belt, white gloves, the incorporation of darker blues and reds)
regardless of the aftermath of what happened to Age after the events of aoc, whether he stayed as a knight or not doesnt really matter and im (AS OF RIGHT NOW) uninterested in exploring that. what really matters rn is that he needed what is basically a court outfit, especially with an audience of 8 heroes of myth. gotta make that good impression n all that.
it also means that some elements (especially the white gambeson and white gloves) are inherently impractical when theyre actually put to use. Age has a very difficult time keeping his gloves as pristine as they are. hes being dressed up by Not his own hands is what im saying

I GOT MY BACHELOR'S OF SCIENCE DEGREE TODAY WITH A PERFECT SCORE FOR MY THESIS! A few months ago I asked you guys who'd be willing to be a test user for my graduation project, which was for my thesis, and with a small group of you I've basically done a bunch of interviews, exercises and brainstorms, which resulted in this (Desktop) site: tocomehome.com!

It's a community for disabled young people to find mobility aids for home use. The thing is; every tool is recommended by a real disabled person, who can add a reason why they think the tool is helpful as well as share links for purchasing. You can follow users with your disability, react to their reviews, save your favourite items to a wishlist and recommend handy tools yourself. It's still very much a prototype, hence why there's no mobile version yet, but I wanted to share it. I'm also officially a software engineer now - I accepted a job offer. :D Proof that life keeps on moving forward. Carrying you on its back, if it must.

Some test renders of the northern Kotie 3D model (previous post of all the detailed anatomy I made for this model)
He got some thick fur and so he won't freeze in winter ~
I tried to make the fur on his face as detailed as possible so that the close-up renders would look good, and so I enjoy the result! I work with particle system (post about how I make fur), so this required some more detailed customization. I also used UDIM UV-map for the first time, which allowed me to give more resolution to facial details, as the face now uses its own textures.
The character is random, I just wanted to make the one without complex features and hairstyle, but the whole northern shape and body type was based on my character Vewis c:
~ Made in Blender.
*Koties are my characters, fantasy felines from my personal lore/story.

Note
if ur a murderbot nerd now do u have any fun opinions abt it yet?
Oh my goddd you have no idea
I really, really, really like Murderbot because it comes at life with this perspective we don't often see that is very real among people who have already been through traumatic experiences, who developed skills and abilities to suvive that were once useful but no longer have context- that search that traumatized people go through to recalibrate and reorient ourselves in a world where we no longer really need those things to survive.
A bit personal here, but my own issues personally involved a lot of psychological abuse that made it difficult to trust my own perceptions of reality, and as a result I found I was very easy to lie to and manipulate.
To handle this, I became obsessive over writing things down, cataloging details and making notes of things as they happened- I'd carry recording devices and make audio recordings and stay up late at night to transcribe what they'd picked up, read those over and over again to reassure myself of things I wasn't certain about.
While doing this, there were others close to me that I felt responsible for, who I had to protect from others and protect myself from at the same time. Life was about two things: Evidence, and defusing threats
Over time, I learned to trust myself as my memories matched what had been recorded where their narrative didn't, but I never really kicked the habit. Like Murderbot, I had added something to my own programming that reassured me I was safe, that I was in control of myself, that I couldn't be mistaken or crazy or broken or used.
I'm only on book two, but already I see myself in Murderbot again. No spoilers here, but when I left home- left that dangerous context- I didn't need to repeat these patterns to survive anymore, but I still did, because I didn't know anything else anymore. It felt safe, comfortable, knowing knowing that the past couldn't repeat itself, because I'd written that flaw- blind trust in myself-  out of my programming and replaced it with something else.
Still, though, I'd become something specially suited to thrive in a very specific environment. Nothing else felt right like followinghigh-risk situations, like witnessing and watching and recording and knowing I had proof of the truth where others might not.
People took notice. I wound up in security by accident, but's an environment that I thrive in due to the same patterns and behaviours I originally developed when I had no other choice. I climbed the ladder pretty quickly, once supervisors caught on that my reports were the most accurate, most objective, most factual, detail-oriented and timely. I keep others and myself safe and prioritize public safety above all else, and I perform well under pressure
Now I'm in a position where I often wonder, do I enjoy this job, or is it just what I'm good at? I have a set of skills now, but do I have the option of choosing not to use them? What would I be, if not this? Could I be anything else? Can Murderbot be anything else?
It has a set of skills that set it apart, make it different, special. It does what it knows best. But is it free? Does it want to be? What does it want? Does it have to do what it was built to do? What if it didn't?
I know what I'm good for. The idea of deliberately leaving what I'm good for for something uncertain, that I might hate, that I might be useless at- the choice to give up what was so important to me for so long and become deliberately obsolete?
Let go of my entire purpose? The only thing I know, that I fit so well into but don't actually know if I enjoy? Now that I can choose? Now that enjoyment is a luxury I can afford to consider?
Yeah, that resonates.
I like the Murderbot series so far because it feels the way I feel: Like the most significant and formative part of my story, the part where I became what I am, has already happened
And now I have to just. Keep going
Into... what?
It feels absurd. Like a microwave giving up on reheating food and deciding to start a life around abstract dance.
So, uh. Yeah. It's really very wild to see this same philosophical-ish dilemma I've been digging over in the back of my mind and in therapy for the last forever laid out so plainly in a genuinely exciting and enjoyable story like this. I feel much less alone, and I... kind of really need to see how it resolves, I think.
So, uh. Yeah. Read Murderbot, I guess
