Coming close to finals and the end of the quarter >.< Spent yesterday fighting the procrastination, but I got a good amount of studying done in the end.
Today's plan:
Go to the lab
Finish studying for physics quiz
Review ochem notes

physics feels so inaccessible.
like what do you mean the only information on this topic is a power point presentation from ten years ago with only half of the information on it?
or you tell me there's three ways to download the software i need for the calculations, but only one of the ways actually works and you don't even tell me how to do it!!!
never mind the sheer amount of prerequisites. i never struggled with math too much, but i also never took the opportunity to skip a level in math. when i was starting out, you can't do anything without trig. so then i went and learned trig on my own, but then i needed matrices. so i went and i learned matrices and vectors on my own, but now i need calculus. and holy shit is there a lot of stuff within calculus.
half the important papers are hidden behind paywalls and the diagrams are so confusing they take me forever to figure out. maybe i'm just inexperienced, but isn't the whole point of diagrams for the information to be more accessible?????
i might be wrong since i'm young and inexperienced, but it seems as if there's this tone of exclusivity in physics. why is it so hard to find mentors, and when i do, they have such trouble believing in me? i might be young, but i can still understand and help with something. why would you ignore all my emails and just tell me to take the easy way out? i'm in it for the long run.

Studied a lesson of physical science today and.. the Law of Conservation of Mass is such clear proof of Creationism that points to Christianity! And testifies of God's Sovereignty!
Basically it's the fact that matter cannot be created or destroyed- it can change forms but it physically cannot be created or destroyed except by God as Creator.
We can only work with what we already have.. But God! He created the universe, He *created* matter which is something neither nature nor humans are capable of doing!
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." ~ Genesis 1:1
And His Sovereignty is amazing in how He did when no finite force within the confines of the universe's laws possibly can- God Alone has such Power! 🙏
It's awe-inspiring- the powerful realization that we live in such an utterly dependent universe. Where no matter can begin to exist by itself unless the matter was created and no life can begin to live by itself unless the species was created and no soul can survive by itself unless it's Saved by its Creator Himself... And where the Creator is so Gracious and Sovereign!
We're so graciously blessed to rely and safely depend on the Almighty Creator Himself (who gives Life breath and existence to all creation)! To trust the One who alone holds the power to create and destroy and sustain- to trust Him as our Father, who in that unique and awesome Power that He alone holds.. rescues us through Christ Jesus unto Eternal Life.

So, here me out for a second,
Black holes are just condensed atoms that are forced together by overwhelming gravity.
So, stars create new compounds because the gravity overrides the magnetic push that atoms have against eachother. Black holes are just big stars that couldn't supernova and collapsed onto themselves. So, if black holes are just stars but MORE, then maybe back holes just condense all matter against itself and break it down entirely to the atomical level.
The matter doesn't go anywhere, it just condenses into the empty space that makes up the majority of everything.
TLDR: black holes don't go anywhere, they just crush everything down to the atomic level.
Thoughts?

Such an amazing day today!!! Today was the welcome event at QUB and i was nervous to sit away from my friend at a table of strangers but there were only 5 others and they were really friendly and despite not talking to them all that much, we got along well! The day was very informative and the tours I spent talking to a girl from another table. At the end of that we exchanged snaps (with the table and me with the girl) so that we could keep in contact and help each other with the coursework. Oh was it so interesting!!! I can't wait to start it!!!! I'm on the maths and physical sciences pathway and chemistry is something I absolutely want to do. I've finally decided! I'm just not sure whether medicinal chem or pure chem 😅. Before getting to the campus my friend and I found a small bookshop and they had an amazing selection, so ofc we got a book each and afterwards came back to buy more ^^ (I got Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky). Got a drink then headed on the train back. I can't wait to be in uni.
At home I was glad to hear that most classes were interrupted today so I don't have any work to catch up on. I also exercised and my legs still feel a bit funny but it felt great afterwards! I did a bit of studying for chemistry but I won't push myself any further because I've got to write this, pack my bag, brush my teeth and I want to wake up early enough tomorrow.
Hope youse had a good day too xx

As a Physical Science teacher at the high school level, I’m always looking for new ways to pique my students’ interest. So when I saw this LEGO Technic Planet Earth and Moon in Orbit set, I just had to incorporate it into my classroom and my lessons! 👨🏼‍🏫
This interactive 526-piece set makes it easy to understand different concepts like the orbit of the Earth and Moon, the Earth’s gravitational pull, and how the rotations affect the seasons. Students can even turn the crankshaft on the model themselves to create the rotations, which also displays the months and lunar phases to show the progress of the Earth, Sun and Moon throughout the year! 🌎☀️🌑

I'm going to finesse my way into this and get KIA b/c I'll be asked what sedimentary rocks are when I'm in enemy territory and "it's rocks in sediment form" isn't a good enough answer
