the battles have been fought

since there was Light

when it was dark no one could see

and freedom meant we exercise our Will

to release entropy

The Wandering Wayfinder

Poetry comes in all kinds of shape Scattered words held by cobweb seams It's a sanctuary, a sweet escape Shedding light to unrealised dreams The words may ramble, they may be brief But weaving them grants me relief These coloured thoughts I've dared spilled Would anyone care to read the lines I've quilled?

The Wandering Wayfinder is the chronicles of my thoughts; a collection of ideas, introspections, and tidbits of interesting discoveries from my journey which I consider worth sharing, expressed in various forms of poetry.

I will be using this blog to post further commentaries on my writing projects, and I hope this ride can be enjoyable to others as it certainly is to me.

artificial bloom

loving you felt like...

well, it felt like watering a beautiful bouquet

of red roses.

doing that daily, for years—

with gentle care,

running my hands through your hair,

kissing you good morning, good night,

shutting down my inner storm

whenever you'd pick a fight.

i've been watering that damn bouquet

for so many years,

with fresh cold water,

with my blood,

my sweat,

my tears—

only to find out

the flowers were artificial,

and your "true love" was superficial.

for years,

i've been watering

a beautiful bouquet

of red roses.

i didn't even notice—

they were made out of plastic.

but now it makes sense,

'cause if they were not fake,

then how else

were they able to survive for years?
