There is a very distinct difference between the waters and space. They’re both endless in a way. No matter how you try to find the edge, you’ll always end up drifting further and further. Space is vast and open, an infinite void where one floats weightlessly, untethered, with no resistance and no true sense of direction.  It is silent, still. Water, on the other hand, is heavier, colder. It presses against you; it pulls at you, resists you. But you can fight against it. You push through its weight, feel its drag on your limbs, the way it slows you, tests your strength. Unlike space, where movement is effortless and endless, water demands effort.  In space, you float. In water, you sink.

I’ve been stuck in such a bad art slump omg, so when I finally got the balls to pick up my iPad the first thing I drew was Tristan?? I love Tristan with short hair so I was like why not! Lately I’ve had no motivation to draw and whenever I do nothing comes out the way I want it to, so let’s just hope I get over whatever I have soon.

not my best but eh. currently simmering in dread and feeling out of it (im fine tis end of term bonus burn out) so itll do lol. anyway details:

fin ears!! i just think theyre neat. to me they flap around in show of emotion. ear fins are spined the rest arent :>

gills on her neck but they too are fins since she has lungs lol

recently saw somwthing abt how poseidon (among other sea dieties) was described as having green hair? canon to me now :3 looks like seweed/ algae to me i liek it

love the non human sometimes eldritch-y arts of thetis so today i fancied dark orbs lol and bioluminescent irises (not depicted)

smol freckles! kinda. not too visible lol i should have made them a bit clearer but i think its a nice addition. like spotted fishies

id love to draw scales but that is simply above my pay grade lmao

might learn how to draw the underwater sun lines tho i think it would be cool (saw a post recently abt how stretch marks/ scars resemble them and i loved it so it goes to the water blorbo lol)

I've been re-working my D&D world from the ground up, with some minor foundation from old notes, but wanted to redo a few things that, honestly, look and sound nicer to me

Just a few screenshots to show the absolute insanity I've been working on holy shit save me from this personal hell I've made for myself I don't know how to stop or slow down.

And yes, I use Notion for pretty much almost all my notes on D&D, be it lore, sessions, character sheets, etc. I even use it for story notes~
